My experience took 10 minutes. Environment is terrible, smells bad, and the rule for eating makes it like this is a race, not a food experience. Needless to say we didn't eat and tried something else. Don't expect anything good!

I come here often, and the food is usually good. However, this time it was a bit disappointing. The nigiri rice wasn't good enough; it fell apart when I picked it up, which isn't right. The grilled chicken dishes were also a bit messy; sometimes the pieces were so large that you were just chewing dry chicken. Finally, the condition of the restaurant, something I noticed during my previous visits, was a bit outdated in some areas. The toilet looks worn, the floor is sticky, and the tablets you receive are heavily cracked. Unfortunately, it doesn't make for a well-maintained look. I always recommend making a reservation here. I often go for lunch, so I don't know what it's like in the evening.

Fantastic! Delicious sushi, but also plenty of alternatives if you're not a sushi fan. We did get a double portion twice, but because it was so good, we couldn't complain :) The restaurant manager was also very friendly to both guests and his staff, which is a credit to the restaurant!

I ate the “all you cab eat” lunch.. Its not the best ive tried. I waited really long for the food to arrive and me and my family had to search for what was whos and they came ony by one. Or two by two. And they didnt mention anything about if theres something we dont eat we have to pay extra for it. They made it seem like that wasnt a thing. Like they were hiding it. They explained to us what all you can eat is. So we didbt have to read the meny. We was given an ipad to order. And then we were charged for not eating everything. And we were not allowed to bring anything home. I would not recommend this place. Many other sushi places with buffes that actually are all you can eat and you are truly free to pick what you want and how much. May I add that its not all you can eat. You can choose 15 things you want. I will not come here again. Would recommend you not to also.

Dozo is great place to have a delicious Sushi in The Hague. The fish is always super fresh and very tasty. The prices are fair and the system of ordering gives you plenty of options to try the from the menu. Even the bananas as dessert are great, Fully recommended.

The place was dark . They didn't even bother opening the lights or.. cleaning the tables out of the dust. The food was very mediocre and it's 100% copy-paste from SUMO restaurants , which after some digging in the tablet they gave us, we found out it was literally the same application under the name "SUMO" lol , basically the same place under different name.

The food was delicious and the ingredients were fresh, with a wide variety of dishes. Unfortunately, the service ruined the entire experience: dishes weren't cleared once, the table was piled high with dirty plates. The waitress's clothes were very dirty and stained, and there were piles of dirty dishes and trash on the floor in the back of the restaurant. I seriously doubted the hygiene of the entire restaurant. Unfortunately, I realized this too late... I had to ask for wasabi and the bill several times, but they kept forgetting. I definitely won't be back and can't recommend the restaurant to anyone.

The food is amazing and arrives pretty quickly! There is a large variety of dishes to choose from which is simply great! The gyoza are my favorite as well as the sashimi which is slightly spicy and very flavorful! Ordering with ipads is fun and it is nice to keep an overview of your orders and share the ipad with your friends to see what everybody orders.

I’m merely going to focus on the positives; drinks came out very fast… Ok, here comes the rest: the waitress serving us seemed like she was uninterested about everything and had an attitude. The fried chicken was off. Had to ask for our orders to come several times. After asking twice, it eventually came. Without even having to add even more of the negatives, we won’t be coming back. Ever since this establishment changed owners, the standards of quality has sunk to sad, sad levels. After asking them to make things right several times, we have been ignored by the staff in the process and that’s most said.

I was there last Wednesday. It was the worst experience ever. I ordered dinner. The first round took almost 40 minutes to get everything - every 15 minutes I got a plate of sushi, so I couldn't even enjoy the food. And this was the case for all 3 rounds. When paying, they charged the full amount, despite knowing that it was not a nice experience and even the food was not that tasty. In short: 85 euros (for me and my partner) thrown in the trash. NEVER AGAIN ☹️

It took a while for our table to be cleaned. When this was finally done, we got our chopsticks. Unfortunately, one of my chopsticks was broken, so I didn't have an even pair. There was also wasabi missing from the table. I politely asked twice for wasabi and a new pair of chopsticks, but unfortunately I never got them. During the first round of food, we also ordered drinks. We only got them after waiting for more than an hour, and only after we had asked several times where they were. We were not the only ones in this — I noticed that the customers at the table next to us also had to wait a very long time for a bottle of water. They also seemed unhappy. I indicated that I was unhappy and that I wanted to leave. I ended up paying 74 euros for one round of food and two cocktails. No compensation was offered, only an uninterested apology and the comment: "Until next time"

My family wanted sushi and this restaurant caught my eye as it is one I haven’t tried yet. The reviews also looked promising. Food was good, the popular sushi items were available, though, I feel their variety was quite limited and the more interesting items had a quite an add on. Our favourite from the menu was the beef sushi as it was different and the beef was spiced nicely. What was a little annoying was that all the dessert had an extra charge. From an “all you can eat” menu, it would’ve have been good to at least offer one item. In the end, we did order two pandan/spekkoek for dessert and what we got was two pieces as big as a piece of cake you receive as a side when you order coffee at a cafe. If you’re looking for an all you can eat with a large group, this could be the place for you.

The food at DOZO is really delicious, there is nothing to complain about that! Unfortunately it took a very long time before we received our food, probably due to a shortage of staff. The staff really did their best to satisfy us, but you notice that this makes the experience less pleasant. What a mockery this is. Yesterday we had a reservation, upon arrival 3 staff members walked by without saying anything. Then in my opinion you are already missing the first step: make someone feel welcome. The 4th said hello (after 4 minutes) and informed us that a colleague would join us. However, this took at least 3 minutes. Eventually a girl came over and wanted to help us, but she was rudely turned away by another woman. Ended up leaving and going somewhere else. After waiting 8 minutes it was enough. Staff is really bad, if you walk past people standing at the entrance you can at least say hello. I think it is still the customers who provide the salary...

The food was nice, many options. But I’m just a bit upset, because we requested to the manager and also to the waiter that we can’t have mayonnaise, and anyways the first round came with it. Second, first time I went, they gave me tap water, and this time they have denied it to us, making us pay for the bottle, and as far as I know, the water is potable, so they should serve it to us. And the ester super expensive, 7’40€ for a bottle… wow. And the place itself is super crowded and noisy.

The amount of choices is great, so even if you are a vegetarian or if you do not like fish, you can still get plenty of options. Unfortunately a huge disappointment. We had made a reservation for 6:45 PM, but upon arrival we were told that there was no table available. The service seemed completely disorganized and barely communicated with us, leaving us waiting in uncertainty for over half an hour. When we finally got a place, it was in a kind of cold basement with bright neon lighting, not a nice atmosphere for dining at all. The lack of hospitality and professionalism was glaring - no apologies, no explanations, just a bad experience from start to finish. Ultimately we decided to go elsewhere as it became clear to us that customer satisfaction is not a priority here. Definitely not recommended, and we will not return here

We were the only two customers in the restaurant during lunch and the service was very poor. There was 1 woman in the service who clearly didn't feel like it and was very busy with herself. Sushi was ready for 5 or 10 minutes each time before she brought it to the table. Last sushi was waiting for almost 15 minutes before she brought it. We immediately asked for the bill (because we had to leave), and quickly ate the sushi because we didn't want to be late. She stopped us to look in my daughter's school bag, because those last sushis were gone very quickly, so she wanted to make sure we didn't take them home. Quality of the sushi was very average. The rice was not seasoned well and the fish on the nigiri was sliced so thin you could almost see through it. The hot dishes were tasty, but that is not what you go to a sushi restaurant for.

I ordered here weekly and came here often. Unfortunately, they have decided to add a 0.50 plastic fee to each different sushi roll (or piece). If you order ten, it will cost you €5. The rolls have also become about 1/3 more expensive anyway. (E.g. Nigiri was 2,- now 3.25) Delivery now 3.79. Service costs 1.30. So that means you're out of pocket for 10/15 of nothing. And then it arrives, there is no soy sauce, wasabi or chopsticks. From 23,- order to 50 for 1 person. 👎 All those extra costs don't make sense, which is a shame, but I'll just start looking for a new permanent place.

Was there recently on a Sunday evening. I had eaten here once before and had good memories of this place. However, this time the service was really dramatic. The food and atmosphere were otherwise ok. Despite AYCE, the food was served very late, which means that during the next round you still get things on your table that you ordered in the previous round. At the end, after waiting fifteen minutes for our dessert, we indicated that we had not yet received it. Even after we wanted to make a payment (passed on via the tablet), no one showed up and we walked to the cash register ourselves. We also regularly received the wrong things placed on our table even though we had not ordered them. All in all, the food was good, but the service could really be better.

We had a reservation at 19u,15. we waited for over 20 minutes at the door, nobody was there to help or atleast give us an indication how long it would take. looking at the place it was clear they overbooked. I will never come here again. We left after 20 minuts of waiting to the place next door who luckily had a table.

Good food, especially for an 'All you can eat' restaurant. The only downside is that due to crowds you sometimes have to wait a bit long for your drinks. The system that works via a tablet on your table sees food and drinks as the same, so you always wait 5 minutes before you are ready and can order a drink after ordering a new round of food. Friendly service, polite and adequate. A great offer is all-in food and drinks for €50.

We didn't get everything from the first round. When we asked about this during the second round, my colleague said we are going to look into this. Still didn't get it in the third round, asked again and a colleague would look but it didn't come. I'm not okay with that. If you say you are going to solve it, you should do it, especially after the second time. In addition, the second round was also incomplete, but we didn't feel like asking anymore. Then something was put on our table that we had not ordered. Furthermore, too few people to ask anything, for example if we could get chopsticks. So service is really bad. The food itself was meh and the atmosphere was also meh, not bad and not good. Way too expensive for what it is. So wouldn't go here again.

All you can eat with very middle quality sushi. Slow and inefficient service. Tablets are also slow, it's menu contains only the names of the dishes, but there's no descriptions or ingredients. If you have an allergy, you have to figure out yourself. We had to wait for about twenty minutes to bring us our oder from each round. To get our drinks took even longer. Some dishes that we ordered in the first round didn't arrive at all despite that we asked staff about those dishes several times. It's not worth the money we paid.

Where did you find the girl at the meeting, it's like she's forced to work there. She wasn't friendly at all. The dinner start time is written on the door. There was no need to make us uncomfortable by saying you have 1 hour when ordering food. When plates come to the table, the empty ones are taken. She didn't take them and put the new plates on the end of the table and left. Despite this, the food was delicious, which was a plus. But the big contradiction was that it was a bad experience to get delicious food with an unfriendly employee.

A standard concept around sushi restaurants where you can order different dishes with a tablet. I really liked the food, but you constantly didn't get part of your order, so you always had to ask if you would still get something from a certain round. The sushi in particular was often forgotten, which is why the service receives a lower rating. Furthermore, the general atmosphere in the restaurant was fine, but the owner's kids were constantly busy in the restaurant, which is not annoying, but is a shame if you want to have a nice meal out. All in all a nice meal, just not the best experience.

Nice meal. Lots of choice. Little choice for desserts and the spekkoek is mini. If you order more than 2 desserts, you have to pay an additional euro per dessert, even though the portions are small. That's a shame. Nice, hardworking service.

Mmm really tasty, already looking forward to it again. Friendly staff, they sometimes forget something even if you have already indicated it 3 times. But a good full house. Just a pity that there are benches. So we didn't really sit comfortably. All in all, next time I will ask for a place with chairs and then we will go again..

The all-you-can-eat experience is just okay, but the sushi is disappointing, it's mostly rice and mayo, with the mayo flavor overpowering everything. IMO It's the worst sushi I've had at a Japanese all-you-can-eat in The Hague. The only highlight is the side dishes, although the tteokbokki isn't great either.

The bottle from the table next to us was half empty, but they just took it and put it in the cooler when it was poured. I find this absolutely unacceptable. How do you know what happened to the wine, and the bottle is being sold twice? Absolutely awful!

We ate here again yesterday. We have been coming to the owner Rachel since the beginning and the food here has only gotten better over the years, even after her renovation you can now eat here in a really nice atmosphere. I recommend this restaurant to everyone who wants to eat delicious sushi, the fish and meat dishes are also top notch. Highly recommended!

The whole experience was absolutely great. Service was great. Only downside was the communication with the restaurant, i sent them a message regarding the possibility of adding more people to our table but they didn't answer. Then we got there and there was a completely empty table the whole time next to ours.
