Personally, I'm not a fan of all-you-can-eat restaurants, but I'm happy to make an exception for this one. The food was simply delicious. We tried everything. No people coming from a buffet with overflowing plates and then stuffing themselves. But you can order in a maximum of 5 rounds of 5 mini plates within 2.5 hours, and you're served quickly at the table. If there's anything left over, you have to pay extra. You can get your own dessert from a clean buffet with a wide selection. I'm very much against food waste, but you still wouldn't be able to finish something, and continuing to eat reluctantly doesn't seem desirable. It was also explicitly stated that one drink is required. Since we opted for all-inclusive, that wasn't an issue. Friendly service, and the restaurant is clean. We'll definitely be back!

A fantastic experience at Kyoju in Nootdorp! Kyoju is a wonderful place with a great atmosphere and super friendly service. We used to eat here often and always had a great time, but unfortunately, after our last visit, we won't be back. While getting dessert, the owner confronted me about wasting food. I politely explained that I understood the costs of wasting food, but that I couldn't do anything about it if I had enough. Instead of leaving it at that, I was lectured while my partner was still eating. The owner's tone and attitude were downright unpleasant. I felt like we had done something wrong, even though we always respect the all-you-can-eat concept. Ultimately, we decided to leave immediately, even though we paid €100 for two people. It's a real shame, because we've been here often and always had good food, but such an unpleasant experience with the owner makes us reluctant to return.

It's with great disappointment that I want to share the following. I've eaten here many times, the food is delicious, the restaurant has a nice atmosphere, both in terms of ambiance and furnishings, and a generally good experience. Unfortunately, we went back today, and my partner was confronted by the owner about wasting food while we were still eating. The owner also said she was "cheating" us by not charging us, which came across as very condescending to both my partner and me. This also made the atmosphere in the restaurant unpleasant, and we paid the bill and left almost immediately. I want to make it clear that the food and the service staff are top-notch. This experience alone will prevent us from returning. We don't want to contribute to this kind of customer service culture.

I went there for the first time last week. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted warmly. We received a good explanation of the options available. The food was excellent. The service was excellent. All in all, I had a fantastic evening.

Ordered Ebi through Thuisbezorgd. It was so limp, like it came out of a microwave. Also, no chopsticks, wasabi, or soy sauce with the sushi order. Luckily, I had most of those at home. Probably the last time I'll be here for this price. The delivery person was friendly, though!

I've eaten here several times now and love coming back. The first plus is the free parking—always nice and a reason to choose this restaurant. The second plus is the owner: a hardworking woman with a real passion for the business. She even recognized me from my last visit, which immediately makes you feel valued as a guest. The third plus is, of course, the food: delicious! Even if you don't eat fish, there are plenty of tasty sushi options. Finally, the service: fast and friendly. Everyone I bring here wants to go back again. In short: highly recommended and a very good experience!

I recently celebrated my father's birthday here with his wife and me; it was my third time here, and it gets better every time—truly! The only quibble is that air conditioning would be a good idea. But the food is, without exception, sublime. The fresh salmon sashimi is heavenly; the preparation of all the other dishes is top-notch, and everything is perfectly cooked. The veiled waitress, in particular, is breathtaking and has every right to remain veiled. ;-) But all the service is excellent, fast, and attentive.

Always great food! Friendly staff and you feel welcome. Parking in front of the door, there are enough seats, it is clean and there is enough choice for everyone. Even if you are not a sushi lover. There is also a small buffet of desserts. Top!

The QR code system does not work so well for large groups.

We tried the all you can eat menu for two people, but unfortunately, we weren’t satisfied. The flavors were lacking, and on top of that, it was required to order one drink per person, which added extra cost. Overall, the experience didn’t meet our expectations. I wouldn’t prefer this place again.

It's expensive, but you quickly forget that once you eat here! More than worth it! The food is so fresh, the portions are generous, and every dish is thoughtfully designed. Ordering is quick and easy. The service is excellent, and the staff are helpful, sweet, and friendly! Absolutely fantastic, so we'll definitely be back!

- For an all-you-can-eat restaurant, the place isn't very big, so I wouldn't recommend coming with large groups. - Service and value are reasonably good. Not outstanding, but certainly not bad. - You order your rounds with your own phone, which I prefer to ordering with a slick, sticky tablet, like most all-you-can-eat restaurants. - You can help yourself to your dessert round (ice cream, fruit, brownies, layer cake, etc.). - Free parking nearby.

Went there for the first time yesterday. The food was fine, except for the sashimi. It was "past its expiration date." They resolved this by bringing fresh sashimi. The staff is young but friendly. It was relatively quiet, so we could hear each other.

The sushi is good...just the usual sushi. The restaurant itself is terribly noisy...you can hear the cooks and smell the food...the ventilation is poor...and I find the area between the kitchen and the bar rather untidy...you won't see me there anymore...my clothes, coat, and hair smell of food...not something I'm looking forward to!

We've just arrived home from dining at Kyoju and I felt compelled to share a strange experience while paying. Firstly the food met expectations and was tasty. Lots of variety and good value for money. Secondly the table service was good. Friendly staff and food was served on time. My family and I choose to exclude the drinks option, meaning if we ordered drinks, they would be paid for separately. We ordered a large water for the table and the kids ordered soft drinks. When asking for the bill the lady at the counter (I assume the owner) awkwardly complained that we should order a minimum of 1 drink per person. I've been to many restaurants in my time but never encountered this comment. I explained the customer should not be forced to order food or drinks they don't want and also explained this minimum order quantity was not communicated to us earlier. She then went on to explain they need to earn more money and next time we needed to order more drinks. I also explained the restaurants profitability should not be of customer concern. I see there are multiple reviews with similar experiences and we will not be visited this restaurant again.

We've been here several times now, and the food has always been excellent and the service good. But the last time, unfortunately, we were disappointed. We had to wait a long time for our food each time, and the food was also put on the wrong table or we received a different item than we ordered (this happened several times). A staff member spilled soy sauce while clearing the table, which splattered our clothes.

kip is disgusting and she didn't even let me order what i wanna when me and my friend ordered what we wanted she came up to us and started getting mad about it and told us to change our options just so she wouldn't have to make too much outside of her own budget even though it's an all you can eat not dinner at nannys house

I went here with my mother and brother. Before we could order, we were asked if we wanted all-you-can-eat with drinks or without. We chose the all-you-can-eat option. The food itself was just standard fare. After eating, I went to the manager (presumably also the owner) to pay. She told me it wasn't okay not to order drinks, and that the cash register automatically charged one drink per person, making a total of three. When I tried to explain that this wasn't possible and that I hadn't been told beforehand, she said her staff sometimes felt embarrassed to tell guests. So, something was definitely wrong here! I didn't want to bother her any further, so she ended up making me buy three cans of drink and take it home. Disgraceful, I've never experienced anything like this. I'm never coming back here again.

Had a delicious meal here last Wednesday, lovely people and fast service. We were very bothered by a table behind us where the children were screaming, running around and the adults were talking loudly. Sometimes we couldn't understand each other. As we left, we saw a table with half-eaten dishes and slipped on the leftover food, napkins, etc. that littered the floor behind us. We felt very sorry for the people who were allowed to clean that up.

I'd like to share a negative experience I had at this restaurant. Last Wednesday, the owner called me a bad mother. Before we were seated, she told me my two-year-old wasn't allowed to drink from my drink and that if he wanted anything, I'd have to pay for it. This, even though he already had his own water. Later, when my two-year-old son wanted to walk around, she came to me and told me that this isn't normally allowed. She stated that it was allowed now because it was quiet, but that it would absolutely not be allowed when it was busy. I understood this as well. While paying, she told me, without any reason, that I should be a better parent. This was going too far. I asked her why she said something like that to a customer. According to her, he should be sitting down and not fussing. She told me that she has two children of her own and is always strict, and that I should be too. How can anyone expect this from a two-year-old who is curious and wants to explore everything? I told her she had no good heart and that I would never come back. Her response was that she didn't care. When I said I would write a review, she tried to justify it. In short, the owner was unfriendly and showed no empathy for young children. Moreover, the food was disappointing; the sushi wasn't fresh.

33,50 for dinner with desert included very good price. the dinner has a lot of variety and the desert as well. you have to scan a QR code and order with your own phone and there is no wifi so bad if you dont have mobile data. staff doesnt speak much english but is very very nice.

My friend and I wanted to have a nice dinner however as soon as we got there we are met with sass without even properly taking to each other. The cashier was rude and lied to us saying the restaurant was full and about to close. Meanwhile, the restaurant was empty and after checking further for closing hours, we found out that the restaurant was going to close 6 hours later. We then ordered takeout food, and had to politely ask for cutlery, which caused her roll her eyes and madly walk away to get plastic cutlery. My friend ordered a Soup and the Tofu was nearly invisible because the amount is minuscule. You do not get what you pay for. The sushi was delicious... only with the dessert (lychee) we found worms/larvae in the fruit. Yes, you read that right.... After quietly pointing it out, they said it was because it came from a can. There was no service-worthy response to the discovery and they left with a sickening feeling. When paying, there were no apologies, just distracting questions about how we found their restaurant. The food was delicious, but the dessert is the only reason I won't be back again...

Let's start with that a reservation is highly recommended, as the place was almost full by 6PM already. The food tastes great and highly recommend trying the Sake Rose (#98) and their fried salmon dish. Waiter service was very good. There are 5 rounds with 5 dishes per person allowed. Reasoning for putting three stars is the bad experience we had during checkout with the owner of the place. They insist we must buy one drink per person or they cannot checkout. This was not mentioned on the menu at all nor mentioned by anyone when we place reservation and had a waiter seat us. The owner make some excuse it's not about money, but when I ask to take two drinks for takeways they complain this is not possible. After some back and forth they finally gave in and give us two bottle of water. Then the owner mention they need to earn money and hope we understand. Lame excuse, they force you to buy items by a policy that is not made clear anywhere until checkout. I was considering tipping them for excellent service by the waiters, but the owner's behavior made me decide not doing so, and removing one star from my review. We spend about 40 Euro per person.

I go there often. The wontons here are super delicious. I order three bowls each time (2 pieces per bowl) and the service attitude is also good! I usually go there to eat once or twice a month. After the summer vacation decoration, it looks better and is more upscale!

We hebben er prima gegeten alles was erg lekker ,enige min punt is dat als je all incl neemt dus met drinken je goed op moet letten er staat o.a. incl tapbieren. Onze mannen hadden hertog jan( van de tap) die stond op de kaart van 25 cl en 50 cl. Dus namen ze 50 cl. Maar toen we gingen afrekenen wilde ze 6:15 per biertje rekenen. Want alleen 25 cl zit in incl wat natuurlijk heel raar is want als je 2 glazen pp besteld zit het erbij en 1 glas niet is erg krom en nog klein puntje een lach op het gezicht van personeel doet ook wonderen

Had a delicious meal at Kyoju Sushi & Grill in the Ypenburg shopping center in The Hague. The outside doesn't look very attractive or inviting, but once inside it really doesn't matter. Clean place, friendly and fast service, easily accessible and free parking in front of the door. An excellent restaurant with an all-you-can-eat concept of delicious Japanese dishes. Lots of choice in fresh sushi, grill or fry and side dishes that you enter with your phone and QR code, and a dessert buffet where you can also put together your own dessert. You can choose drinks included or exclusive. We enjoyed it again. Thank you for the pleasant stay and the hospitality enjoyed.

As an entrepreneur, I eat in good restaurants every day! But Kyoju is unbeatable in its area! Even if it's a little further away from The Hague, I believe it's worth it! For an all you can eat it has incredible quality! Fresh sushi creations and such good grilled dishes. Everything arrives very quickly and very fresh! One of the few sushi restaurants that also offer an all inclusive with drinks!! The Kyoju and its entire professional team has no competition in the area! Always happy to come back. The German manner ;-)

Went for dinner yesterday with 2 friends. Super friendly owner. Food was delicious and we were even allowed to continue until round 7! We also like the new design much better. Thank you!!

We decided to come here for lunch around 14.30. We were told we would just have an hour and we can order in rounds, every 15 minutes. Usually people can spend a bit longer but we just had to make sure we ordered on time. That went fine. But just a few minutes after our first food order we got scolded to order drinks. The way of communication was very poor and it feels like there is pressure from the owner to the staff to make money. We were shocked, and after overcoming the discussion we had about the lack of hospitality, we decided to just order one drink each for the remainder of the lunch. When we walked out they pushed more arguments onto us justifying why they were right in making us order drinks asap. We felt incredibly thirsty after the mediocre food, so we think there may be a lot of salt in the food. We don't recommend eating here even for the lunch prices.

All young children in the service and a power outage so we couldn't order anything for half an hour, not even a drink and orders not completely delivered

Beim Deal mit Getränken inklusive werde diese recht zögerlich serviert. Ohne das Arrangement ist der Service mehr als zeitnah. Man bestellt pro Person 5 "Häppchen" pro Runde und es gibt maximal 5 Runden, die wie aber noch nie erreicht haben.

Kom hier graag met mijn vrienden een keer in de zoveel tijd. Eten is altijd goed en lekker vlot. De mensen die hier werken zijn ook altijd vriendelijk!

Donderdagavond lekker gegeten met 4 personen. Gekozen voor het diner all-inclusive arrangement. Zowel de sushi als de gegrilde en gebakken gerechten zijn goed bereid en goede porties. Je kunt met je smartphone bestellen waardoor je niet hoeft te wachten voordat je geholpen wordt. Nadat je hebt besteld hoef je niet lang te wachten. Gember (2 liefhebbers aan tafel), wasabi en kikkoman saus werd op verzoek voldoende aangevuld. Ik heb bij veel all you can eat restaurants gegeten in de regio en deze valt in de betere categorie. Personeel en de eigenaresse ook erg vriendelijk. Niemand loopt in joggingbroek of met een petje op zoals een aantal hebben geschreven in de reviews. Met zoveel keus in sushi en andere gerechten zal er heus wel een iets mindere tussen zitten maar dat lijkt mij normaal. Het is heel simpel, dan bestel je die toch niet meer?

Uitgebreide menukaart met veel opties. Er is onder andere grill en sushi, maar ook salades en soep. Door de vele keus in combinatie met het all you can eat concept kan je veel dingen proberen en de lekkerste gerechten opnieuw bestellen. Er komen vaak mensen langs om de tafels leeg te ruimen waardoor je niet met alle afwas blijft zitten.

Best thing about this restaurant was its food quality.
