Eddy Spaghetti in Transvaalbuurt

The pizza was nothing special, but the pasta was delicious. My daughter had the Arriabata tricolore, and I begged her to swap with my pizza, which did not impress. Good (but limited) selection of wines, and a very knowledgeable and friendly staff.

Very good pasta but prices a little high, perhaps it's the prices in the area.

Heerlijk gegeten op een zondagavond om mijn dochters 20e verjaardag te vieren. We begonnen met brucheta’s en focaccia met alioli. Daarna deelde ik samen met mijn dochter een pizza met burrata en een pasta pesto. De pizza was in het midden slap (waarschijnlijk door de burrata). Het was wel lekker. De pasta vond ik meer smaak hebben. Er was 1 dame in de bediening voor zowel het buiten terras als binnen en ze moest ook nog de drankjes zelf fixen. Ze deed het super goed maar ik werd er wel ongemakkelijk van. Ik zit lekkerder als er genoeg personeel is om

Mooie plek in oost! Goed eten, goede wijnen en bediening prima. Mooie knusse zaak… Italiaan die er mag wezen. Terras zat bomvol en binnen ook.

Helemaal top, mooie zaak, Italiaanse muziek, heerlijke wijnen en lekkere desserts. Eten erg goed. De sfeer ongedwongen en mooie terras.

Delicious dinner on a Sunday evening to celebrate my daughters 20th birthday. We started with bruchetas and focaccia with alioli. Then I shared a pizza with burrata and pesto pasta with my daughter. The pizza was soft in the middle (probably due to the burrata). It was nice. I thought the pasta had more flavor. There was 1 lady serving both the outside terrace and inside and she also had to fix the drinks herself. She did a great job but it made me uncomfortable. I feel more comfortable when there are enough staff around

we got there late and were still accommodated. service and food both excellent! staff were super friendly and efficient - highly recommend!

Literally the closest meal to authentic Italian food, I have ever had. The service was great and the food was outstanding!

Verschrikkelijk. Bij aankomst door type "haai baai " - jongedame tewoord gestaan. Nul service, nare toon, klantonvriendelijk. Met het halfvolle glas witte wijn á raison de €8,-- (!!) - exorbitant duur - dat ik terugbreng, vliegt de situatie volledig uit de bocht. Ze snauwt ons af, in aanwezigheid van onze zoon. Dreigt ons verder niet te helpen. Werkelijk verschrikkelijk! Wat een gezellig hapje eten had moeten worden om de zomervakantie in te luiden, leidt tot één conclusie: wat is het verschrikkelijk gesteld met de horeca in Amsterdam. Doelend op: prijs/kwaliteit - verhouding, èn service, èn klantvriendelijkheid, èn geholpen worden in het Nederlands - op alle fronten is het ver-schrik-ke-lijk! Abominabel slecht. We vertrekken zonder ook maar iets te nuttigen bij Eddy Spaghetti Amsterdam. De dame in de bediening? Wat een heks!

I think is the best pasta I’ve had in Amsterdam. The service was also amazing, it was a hot day and they were right away giving us cold water (which was highly appreciated). The food does take a bit longer but it’s worth it. All the pastas are spectacular, and honestly the price for the amount you get is pretty good. I would definitely recommend.

Mi lugar favorito que he comido en Amsterdam. Es un acogedor restaurante cálido con un personal increíble. Puedes oler la comida que viene de la cocina en el restaurante y te hace la boca agua. Todo lo que sacaron fue delicioso y las bebidas eran increíbles también. Recomiendo la clásica bruschetta y para pasta polpettine al sugo. Y el tiramisú fue increíble.

My favorite place I have eaten in Amsterdam. It's a warm cozy restaurant with incredible staff. You can smell the food coming from the kitchen in the restaurant and it makes your mouth water. Everything they brought out was delicious and the drinks were amazing too. I recommend the classic bruschetta and for pasta polpettine al sugo. And the tiramisu was amazing.

Being able to book with a fairly large group at short notice. They think along with you and the service is top notch. In addition, the food was delicious!

My favourite Italian in Amsterdam! The food is really good - highly recommend buratta starter, and the sensational tiramisu. The staff are lovely, warm and welcoming. Special shoutout to Jasmine and the team who were so kind in accommodating a special request and went above and beyond in delivering such great service for us. We can’t wait to come back again!

We were warmly welcomed in the small restaurant. Pastas and pizza were delicious for the price. Service attentive and nice! Something to muffle the sound would be welcome.

Located in a residential neighbourhood in Amsterdam Oost. Went here for dinner with a friend and we got the Di Eddy pizza (with nduja) and Ragu penne. They both tasted really good and portion sizes are great for the value. The indoor place is quite small so I’d recommend reserving in advance.

Truffle spaghetti and margarita pizza were sooo delicious with unique flavors, then we finish it up with a homemade tiramisu which was perfect. Loved the place, staff are friendly, good vibes. Highly recommend 👍🏻💯

Cozy place, but unfortunately the pastas were disappointing.

Super nice service. The group also felt good. That was all fine. But the food was a huge disappointment. The ragu ordered had nothing to do with ragu. It looked like they had mashed a ready-made meatball from the football canteen into the pasta. The ravioli had a sickly sweet honey sauce that made it more like a dessert and the penne with arrabbiata was not al dente, but just rock hard. Unfortunately.

We ate there with a larger group. At first it was very loud inside the restaurant, so you could hardly understand your own words. Unfortunately we waited a long time for our drinks and a few were forgotten. We had to wait 90 minutes for our main course and a meal was forgotten here too. Some of the starters were completely out of stock, as was the dessert. The food was okay for that.

I stumbled on this place as it's near my apartment. The food was delicious and the server was really personable and attentive. I will definitely be back.

The best pasta I've had outside of Italy! Maybe even including Italy! The ravioli in particular....just wow. There are no words to describe how delicious that was. The waiter was so attentive and nice with his recommendations and was so obviously passionate about food and wine too. The chef sent us over a Tiramisu for express our compliments over the pasta. How kind is that?! As if we already weren't happy enough! Couldn't recommend Eddie more. We love Eddie!

I recently dined at this Italian restaurant, and while the ambiance was cozy and the service was excellent, I was disappointed by the food. None of the dishes met my expectations in terms of taste. A simple recipe like carbonara cannot go wrong...but it went. Overall, it fell short compared to other Italian restaurants I've experienced... sorry...

Small quaint Italian restaurant nestle in Amsterdam. Great pastas & cocktail selections. Seating is cramped, and don't go if you're in a hurry. This restaurant is designed for those wanting a evening out dining.

We wondered if there is a new chef. Food really didn't taste like it did a few months ago. Spaghetti was way too salty and the bread rolls under the bruschetta were rock hard and burnt. Such a shame because it was really good before. Fortunately, the service was friendly and helpful.

Eddy Spaghetti is the new Italian hotspot at the Krugerplein in Amsterdam East. A cosy Italian style cafe where they serve delicious pastas and bruschettas. The interior looks like that of a brown cafe, but don’t be fooled. You won’t find bitterballs on the menu at Eddy Spaghetti!

We had a cute and cozy dinner at Eddy Spaghetti. We both ordered an espresso martini and a large portion of the pumpkin filled ravioli with a butter sage sauce. We really enjoyed the cocktail and the ravioli was also tasty just a little bit more on the sweet side.

The place is very cozy and pleasant, the service is attentive and friendly, and the food, DELICIOUS.. the pasta with the well-cooked, well-integrated sauce and, we think, freshly made. To repeat and recommend if you travel to Amsterdam and stay close to the hotel.

Super cozy place, we had very good food for a very very reasonable price, and super gentle service🫶🏽 Cant wait for the good weather to come and being on the terrace bc for sure Ill be back!!

Heerlijke avond bij Eddy Spaghetti gehad. Pizza’s smaken goed en hebben een lekkere bodem. Personeel is vriendelijk en werkelijk niets op aan te merken. Gezellig tentje met fijne sfeer. Zorg wel dat je reserveert.

Heerlijk en gezellig gegeten. Verse gerechten zowel vegetarisch als met vlees en vis. Lekkere drankjes ook. Met en zonder alcohol. Prettige plek en parkeren voor de deur.

Good food. When you order an aranciata rossa, you get a glass with ice cubs and a piece of blood orange with it. Makes it look like a real drink. There are many places in Amsterdam for good Italian food but it is small things like this, that make me come back.

Wat een aangename avond! Ik ben enorme fan van truffel en vaak is dit overheersend in een gerecht maar dit was o-v-e-r-heerlijk. Ik kreeg er maar geen genoeg van! Ik vraagde dit gerecht zonder champignon en dat was geen probleem. Echt zo'n goeie pasta at ik nog nooit. Men vriend nam de ravioli met geitenkaas in een honingboter sausje en die vond hij ook overheerlijk. Rondom ons zagen we nog andere gerechten die er ook enorm lekker uitzagen. Nadat wij onze bordjes hadden afgelikt gingen we nog voor een dessert. Ik naam de ijs met koffie (de naam ontglipt me nu even) en men vriend gewoon twee bolletjes ijs maar dit was ook top. Ook bediening was vriendelijk, vlot en gaf indien nodig uitleg. Echt top restaurant!

Wijn was prima, teleurstellend eten. Voorgerecht: antipasti- hele rare samenstelling van voornamelijk dingen uit blik. Hoofdgerecht: Pasta carbonara- bijna geen spek, weinig smaak en pasta niet gaar. Bediening leek niet verbaasd te zijn dat er bijna volle borden terug gingen naar de keuken en vroegen niet naar een reden. Geen aanrader dit.

Poor. The service was pleasant but the food was below average. I came here a couple of years ago and the food was great. Now its uninteresting bowls of pasta with crappy presentation. Not even at the low standards I cook at home. Avoid.

Als het tafelblad letterlijk doormidden breekt uit het niets en de serveerster in plaats van te checken of alles goed met ons gaat zegt “o, alweer” is de het geen goed begin van de avond…. Toen we vervolgens aan een nieuwe tafel werden geplaatst herkende de serveerster ons niet meer… heel gek. Eten was prima! Maar duurde heel lang, service echt onder de maat.

We had such a great time at Eddy Spaghetti that we went back a second time during our week in Amsterdam. The atmosphere is lovely and features a great outdoor patio with plenty of space heaters to keep it nice and toasty. I ordered a pizza and pasta and both were extremely fresh and tasty. In particular Karen was an excellent server and was very friendly and welcoming and deserves a special shout out for working extremely hard on the Saturday when it was very busy. Hope to visit again soon!

A bit expensive but tasty and nice to sit outside in the covered area even though it was raining.

Ein kleines Lokal mit sehr guter kleiner Karte. Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Pizza war sehr lecker. Wir waren sehr zufrieden!

Had a very good experience. Staff is lovely and food is good. We only had pasta this time around but we will be back to try the pizza (and desserts).

Zowel bediening als eten vielen tegen. Lang moeten wachten op drankjes waardoor we de gerechten bijna ophadden toen de drankjes kwamen. Carbonara had een sausje van nat rauw ei.

Helaas onderbemand. Eten miste een beetje smaak. Glitterende navelpluis.

De sfeer is alles in een restaurant! En dat is wat Eddy Spaghetti maakt. Heerlijke avond op het terras gehad. Goed eten, met leuke originele gerechten (wat niet altijd gemakkelijk is voor een italiaans restaurant). Bediening was absoluut top terwijl het hele restaurant en terras vol zat. Aanrader dus 😇

Came here for my birthday meal while visiting Amsterdam as there was a lot of good reviews and I love Italian food. The food itself was great but stars lost due to the amount of time waiting for it to turn up. It was a Saturday night so I suppose it was to be expected and the kitchen looked to be only 2 people preparing dishes. However, I did reserve a table (which I would recommend!) and just felt we waited an overly long time for the food. The food we offered was the meatballs to start, carabonara and pizza. All was really tasty.

The pasta here is definitely the star for me and really get a craving for the All’arrabbiata Tricolore every so often. Tried the pizza recently and although enjoyable, wasn’t quite there vs some other local spots. Really enjoy the outdoor space in the sun and service is always friendly.

Definitely would not recommend, unless you want to be seated for an hour with no food. The quality of the seafood was also not the best.

Heerlijk losjes en informeel, behalve spaghetti ook andere mooie spijzen, pizza was wat droog. Tafels gezellig dicht op elkaar maar dat hoort bij het stijltje. Aanrader.
