Very good address. We went for lunch. The truffle ravioli was excellent with real truffle sauce. The prices are rather attractive for the quality. I recommend.

I had reserved the table via the website offered. We ate pizzas which were excellent with a nice airy crust. Friendly and fast service, nothing to complain about!

Bizarrely arrogant people. Order a pasta for pickup from them, call them at 5:21 PM. I arrive at their place at 5:46 PM and they immediately say it's not ready yet, you said half an hour. Fine, I'll wait a while, but according to their receipt it was only ordered at 5:31 PM. Then, arrogantly saying no, it won't be ready for another 16 minutes. While at first I didn't even have a problem with her pasta not being ready. But the arrogant tone and particularly unfriendly attitude of the staff made me decide that they don't even have to make the pasta for me anymore and I left. The food is always good, but his attitude is ridiculous.

During my recent visit to this establishment I experienced exceptional Italian cuisine. Both the starter and main course were presented with the utmost finesse, with the quality and freshness of the ingredients used being unmistakable. The vitello tonnato, a culinary highlight, was undoubtedly among the best I have ever tasted. The service was extremely professional and attentive, contributing to an overall experience of excellence. Given these exceptional aspects, I highly recommend this restaurant to every lover of authentic Italian gastronomy.

We ate fungi pizza and four cheese pizza. We felt great during the dinner. The waiter was very kind and he was cheerful. The atmosphere was also nice and the balsamic vinegar was so delicious. Grazie mille :)

Variable quality of pizzas. 1st 2 times ordered pizzas: absolutely delicious (not wood-fired). Few pizzas without meat. Ask to replace meat with another ingredient, which went well the first few times... until I ordered pizzas for 9.99 on a Thursday. I asked to replace the meat with another vegetarian ingredient. I was told that I should "just order from the menu" (then add more options to the menu without pork). Apparently too difficult to replace 1 ingredient due to the crowds. The vegetarian pizzas were delivered almost without cheese, the tomatoes were just raw and very thick edges without anything on them. Not worth the reduced price: tasteless (and had to wait an extra 45 minutes!!!). I thought I had found my favorite pizzeria in Nieuw West, but it turns out not to be that good. Shame. So avoid Thursdays anyway. I'm going to try it one more time another day (with just 1 pizza, otherwise such a shame) Update: ordered pizzas again. Pizzas were lukewarm when picked up and on the spinach pizza... frozen spinach had been used, which had just been thawed, which they also denied. Very dirty. Last time pizza here.

Please avoid this place if you are foreigner, they are only interested with the locals. Very arrogant Management, if the restaurant is busy I guess they don’t care about other customers even there are free tables. Food quality very salty!! may be do it on purpose. Ra ist may be a strong word but from what I have read from other reviews and my experience, foreigners are not welcome. This is my honest opinion.

Pizza and pasta was very good. The pasta carbonara I believe was original, made with eggs and not some sort of sauce. The waiter was a bit rude but the food made it a bit irrelevant

Right from the start we felt like unwelcome guests. The service was unfriendly. The food is average. I can't recommend to anyone. 

Veeeery good food! Pasta with Tartufo was delicious and the Tiramissu was a proper one. Employees are extremely friendly. Food came quickly. Price pretty reasonable for NL. On the top, some of the employees speak Brazilian Portuguese and were playing Brazilian music on the background, which was fun to me :) . Definitely good alternative in this neighborhood, will certainly come back when around.

Recently, a great terrace. First a nice glass of wine, but couldn't resist the temptation. Continue to eat with a choice from the special weekly menu. A very unique bruschetta, a chef's special. Then a delicious pasta with shrimps and a tender ossobuco, kindly served by host Michelle. And a dessert...... Unique and incredibly tasty. Reason enough to come back again soon.

Nice cozy warm atmosphere with the most elegant Italian serving. Penne arabiata as our main dish together with the filetto di polo ala diavolla. And finally, the tiramisu originale, the details in the dessert from grated chocolate to the cranberry sprigs complete the dessert.

Thanks to the team for this fantastic dinner. The tagliatelle and spaghetti were perfect. the relaxed atmosphere, the music is tasteful and the staff are lovely. It's a place to which we wish a lot of success (and it deserves it).

Surprisingly popular Italian restaurant in a quiet location. I came here 2 nights in a row. First night at about 7.30pm, and it was packed that I could only have a bar seat. Had the ribeye on the first night, t bone on the second. Personally, the ribeye was better done. The t bone, though more expensive, came out tougher and more well done than expected. Both were tasty though, and I enjoyed both thoroughly. The sides were ok. Didn't steal the thunder from the main.

We've entered the Restaurant to order some take away food, the result was bad food and bad mood! We were treated like some unwanted guests. Wat een heerlijk restaurant is dit toch, iedere keer weer! Alles wat je bestelt is even lekker. Of je het nou kent of niet, het maakt niet uit, het smaakt allemaal heerlijk! Er is een uitermate goede selectie aan wijnen en de gastheren bedienen u fantastisch en met een goede kennis van zaken adviseren zij over het eten en de wijnen. Dit restaurant maakt een diner tot een belevenis, een avontuur naar de authentieke smaak van italië! Met de auto kan het vervelend zijn om een parkeerplaats te vinden. Het openbaar vervoer is misschien een betere optie, buslijn 68 rijdt hier langs de deur.

Als wir das Restaurant betraten roch es stark nach Fisch. Ich wäre am liebsten wieder gegangen, aber die anderen wollten trotzdem was Essen. Die Auswahl ist nicht so groß. Ich bestellte eine Pizza mit Salami und Kochschinken und fragte nach Jalapenos, die sie leider nicht hatten. Dafür sollte ich ein scharfes Öl erhalten, was aber nicht scharf war. Die Pizza selbst war ok, der Rand war wenig belegt und geschmacklos, die Mitte der Pizza war gut. Leider war der Service sehr unaufmerksam. Wir bestellten zwischendurch noch einmal Brot, was leider nie ankam. Auch blieben der benutzte Teller vom Olivenöl oder der leere Brotkorb die ganze Zeit auf dem Tisch stehen, ohne das es abgeräumt wurde. Die Getränke waren auch alle, ohne das nachgefragt wurde ob wir noch etwas möchten. Mit um die 17 Euro war die Pizza für den zu teuer. Fazit: Essen ok, Service mangelhaft. Dafür viel zu teuer.

Just had dinner at this restaurant. Location is 'out of the way' meaning it is in a business area of Amsterdam (not city center), close to 2 hotels. It basically is a destination restaurant, unless you are a hotel guest. Honestly it didn't bother me, as I came expressly (I live near Amsterdam) to have dinner here. Atmosphere is cozy, maybe not for a romantic dinner but nice. One suggestion, I would do away with the huge coffee brand sign which is above the coffee machine. Service is impeccable, nice staff, friendly and competent. Food, the quality of the ingredient is of high standards, no question. Preparation could be a bit better with small adjustments. (hence not the 5 stars). For example, I took Burrata (looks like a mozzarella but the inside is more fluid/liquid) with San Daniele ham. The burrata was cold, and it should be served at room temperature, as to enhance and fully appreciate the milky flavor. I appreciate that the burrata, imported from Italy cannot be daily fresh, hence you have the need to keep it refrigerated, but on the day I would take it out of the fridge in time to have it reach room temperature. Yes it can be risky from a business point of view, since if you don't sell it on the evening you have to part with it (cannot be put back in the fridge), but it would be a worth risk especially if you know the amounts that gets sold per evening you could plan accordingly. Second suggestion, I took the Ossobuco, traditional veal dish from Milan. Meat really tender, good flavors, but it was cold and I mean fridge temperature. Had to send it back, got a new portion and at the end it was not included in the bill. Extra KUDOs since this is something I have never experienced in 25 year I have been living in Amsterdam (and I eat 1-2 a month out at restaurants). Also here appreciating that you prepare the Ossobuco early in the morning (or even the day before, it is still fine) as it takes 2-3 hours to cook the meat. But if prepared early or the day before, as for the burrata take it out of the fridge well in time for it to reach room temperature and then warm it on the stove (most likely was done in the microwave), it doesn't take that long if it is already at room temperature. All in all, we had a lovely night, and would recommend this place, if you want to eat good Italian food, but as said it is a destination place, meaning you go there, eat and then you leave, no room for a stroll in the surrounding area.

If you look for a genuine and excellent italian restaurant, search no further. It may not be in the very center of Amsterdam but it definitely derseves the travel. Once you will taste Michele's truffle pasta you will be in heaven

Service guy is annoying and his way of dealing and taking cups and spoons from the table is disrespectful because we only sat at a table for four people and we are two people. The rest is nice and delicious

Wij zijn heel blij met Villa Borghese. Rappe bezorging en goed & zeer smaakvol eten. Gelukkig wonen we er dichtbij zodat we niet lang hoeven te wachten op de bezorging.

Delicious & authentic Italian food. We were very happy with the lobster ravioli and pasta vongole.

Kleines aber feines italienisches Restaurant in stimmigem Ambiente. Service ist aufmerksam und flink, das Essen absolut zu empfehlen! Sehr umfangreiche Weinkarte und auch andere tolle Drinks. Reservierung ist zu empfehlen, mit etwas Glück und ggf. Wartezeit bekommt man aber auch einen Tisch. Rund um ist Villa Borghese absolut zu empfehlen und einen Besuch wert, wenn man in der Gegend ist.

Villa Borghese è un ristorante meraviglioso. Abbiamo cenato in due, e provato sia l'orata a forno sia la spigola al limone. Entrambe buonissime. Michele ci ha poi consigliato il tiramisù che era veramente un capolavoro. Tutti veramente gentili e simpatici.

Pedimos pasta y bastante bien, sopa de tomate y entrantes muy bien. Postres deliciosos..especialmente el tiramisu. Personal amable y servicio rápido. Precios razonables para ser Ámsterdam. Volveremos.

Buon ristorante Italiano in area moderna

Inmiddels aantal keer geweest, maar de laatste keer eind april was de druppel. In de eerste week van opening hebben wij voor 4 afhaalpizza's en een portie groenten ruim een uur gewacht. De communicatie was erg gebrekkig. De Pizza Bianca kwam zonder rucola en was extreem pittig, tot een niveau dat het niet meer lekker was. Eind februari hebben we een keer in het restaurant gedineerd. Het kostte wat steeds moeite om een ober aan te schieten, maar de pizza's en pasta's waren prima. Leuk om af te sluiten met een shot Limoncello. Eind maart op donderdag opnieuw ruim 45 minuten gewacht op 1 afhaalpizza. Ter plekke besteld, dus men had de mogelijkheid om direct aan te geven dat het lang kon duren. Ondertussen krampachtig hangen aan de bar en medewerkers aan alle kanten langs zien komen. Geen updates dat het langer duurt, de bestelling bijna klaar was of excuses voor het lange wachten. De Pizza Napoletana was matig belegd. Jammer na een lange werkdag en vervolgens vermoeiende wachtrij bij uw restaurant. Dus niet 'even simpel eten'... Eind april opnieuw 2 pizza's afgehaald op donderdag. Dit keer eerst online besteld voor 19:30. Vervolgens op uw verzoek verplaatst naar 19:40. Bij aankomst lagen de pizza's gelukkig klaar. Echter: "het is Koningsdag dus we hebben geen donderdagactie"... Dat hadden jullie wel ergens mogen vermelden... Zelfs op de dozen die jullie meegeven staat het: 'DONDERDAG AFHAALPIZZA €9,99'... Opnieuw jammer. Eenmaal thuis (2 min lopen) blijkt de pizza koud te zijn (en één van de bodems gescheurd). Zeker geen 30eu waard!! Bovenstaande aangekaart bij de eigenaar en welgeteld 1 pizza cadeau aangeboden gekregen.. 👎🏻 misschien over een hele tijd weer, als het wat beter geregeld is. Jammer! Tot slot laat de vestiging te pas en te onpas allerlei rotzooi achter bij de publieke gemeenschappelijke afvalbakken, of informeert klanten daar verkeerd over. Vieze/gebruikte pizzadozen mogen NIET bij het oud papier en als de wijndozen niet in de container meer passen, kunnen ze prima bij het restafval. Of nog beter: verzorg je eigen particuliere afvalverwerking!

Goede dunne krokante korst. Goede olie en balsamico. Al met al positief verrast!

Locale italiano gestito da italiani. Mi si è riempito il cuore trovare degli ottimi prodotti italiani anche così distante da casa; si sente di essere a casa anche solo dal piattino iniziale con olio e aceto balsamico nel quale pucciare il pane. Cordialità eccellente, pasta veramente ottima e sicuramente uno dei tiramisù più buoni che abbia mai mangiato. Sono davvero contento di aver cenato qui e in una futura vacanza ancora qui ad Amsterdam non mancherà una seconda visita. Trotz fehlender Reservierung wurde uns sofort ein Zweiertisch zugewiesen, obwohl kurz nach 18:00 Uhr das Lokal bereits sehr gut besucht war. Das Essen war sehr gut. Ich hatte zwar "nur" eine Pizza Capriciosa, aber die war sensationell. Ich habe schon lange keine solch gute Pizza genossen. Meine Frau hatte Ravioli mit Trüffeln, welche auch hervorragend geschmeckt haben. Ich durfte probieren. Die Herrschaften in der Küche verstehen ihr Handwerk. Der Kellner war flink und aufmerksam. Getränke und Essen waren sehr schnell auf dem Tisch. Allerdings haben wir beobachtet, dass andere Tische länger auf das Essen gewartet haben. Ob das möglicherweise so gewollt war oder ob das an den jeweiligen Gerichten lag, entzieht sich meiner Kenntnis. Ich jedenfalls kann das Restaurant nur empfehlen.

Cibo ottimo servizio un po lento

Tweede bezoek aan dit restaurant. Was toch enigszins teleurstellend. Tafels staan dicht op elkaar waardoor het snel rumoerig is. Stond ook de muziek veel te hard zodat je nauwelijks rustig met elkaar kon praten.Wel uitstekende stoelen. Brood met olijfolie wordt ongevraagd op tafel gezet en in rekening gebracht. Wijn wordt niet erg royaal ingeschonken en kost toch eur 5,50 tot 6 euro per glas. Op het eten zelf is niets aan te merken maar dat mag ook wel voor de prijs die je daarvoor betaalt. Al met al niet aan de verwachtingen voldaan. Jammer.

Heerlijk gegeten en de service was uitstekend. De Italiaanse ober was attent en verstond zijn vak. Hier kunnen legio Amsterdamse restaurants nog een voorbeeld aan kunnen nemen. Verder gebruikte hij o.a. "Signore" en "Signora" tijdens de begroeting en het opnemen van de bestelling wat ook bijdraagt aan de beleving. Dit restaurant is 'een echt een aanrader en we komen zeker nog een keer terug!

Leuke tent en hadden geluk dat er nog een plekje voor 2 was. Beter reserveren dus ook op een doordeweekse avond. Eten was erg lekker. We hadden beide pasta, de truffelpasta was erg goed ook al ziet het er niet heel appetijtelijk uit. De toetjes waren op zich goed maar de tiramisu vond ik wat tegenvallen, was erg nat. Er was alleen maar 1 ober voor het opnemen van orders en daardoor duurde het al erg lang voordat we überhaupt wat te drinken konden bestellen en ook voor het eten en daarna het toetje. Het was daardoor een lange zit.
