Surprisingly great evening in this lovely Restaurant. Super nice Chef & one of the best Pasta we‘ve ever had! 10/10 highly recommend!

For €90 for two, have to do better. Food was good, presentation was poor, got my order wrong. We got our order the same time as another table of 4 (arrived 30minutes later than us). Owner was nice. Place is small.

Such an amazing evening we had here after stumbling across this little gem. The service was wonderful and it was so atmospheric. I ordered the truffle pasta and got to cook it myself with the chef/owner’s help, in a rounded out Parmesan wheel!! Surprising and fun experience to say the least! Would definitely come again on my next trip to Amsterdam

We were looking for a small authentic italian place and Ponte Vecchio was the spot🤩 The atmosphere is lovely and the staff was amazing and super friendly. The food was DELICIOUS! The lasagna that I had was so warming and the flavours were perfectly balanced

Wow authentic Italian food right in the heart of Amsterdam! The pasta sauce tasted fresh and the pasta was cooked perfectly. The Italian couple running the place were so sweet. We sat at one of the few outside tables and enjoyed a lovely dinner. Highly recommend :)

Wonderful little Italian spot. We had the caprese salad which was served nice and cold. The lasagna was superb as was the tiramisu and the limoncello. Saw a pasta dish made table side that looked delicious. Very attentive service.

We ordered the carbonara, which was very tasty. The medium-rare steak with baked potatoes was excellent. As an appetizer, we had hot rolls with butter and delicious olives. The owners were very nice and friendly. I recommend it.

Amazing place. We came just to try and we were surprised. The food is great, we had a pasta with truffle and cheese, and it was superb. Also, pizzas looked and smelled incredibly good. For dessert we had tiramisu and it was amazing! One of the best I had in a very long time. The staff are very nice and have treated us very well. I highly recommend this place.

Small, family run Italian spot with very tasty food. We shared a salad and had the mushroom ravioli which was perfect. Also had the tiramisu and it was light and not too sweet. Service was very attentive and the restaurant had both indoor and outdoor seating, with light and bright atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Small and cozy place. Friendly staff. The owner loves his restaurant, and it shows. Good food, and fast service. The pizzas are good, and the pasta is also. Overall, recommendable. We came for dinner at 8 p.m. and there was room, and another day at 9:30 p.m. and there was also room. We've been back twice.

Very delicious food. I had the fresh cooked bread, bolognese pasta and rosé. Staff is kind and accommodating, could do without the upselling however I understand what it means as a buisness owner. Would recommend if you enjoy authentic italian food.

We ordered Lasagne Alla Romana and Pasta Alla Carbonara. The lasagne had an exquisite flavour profile with a creamy consistency that almost melted in the mouth and crispness at the edges. The carbonara had an excellent flavour, where the ingredients had a good interaction. The light sauce in the carbonara helped to maintain the consistency of the pasta. Finally we ordered a homemade tiramisu, which also tasted amazing! We can highly recommend this restaurant to those who want an authentic and traditional Italian food experience without compromising on taste :)

Very friendly owner and very attentive. We ordered the lasagna and the salami pizza. It was very delicious and it tased fresh which gave it that special touch. We tried the tiramisu also and was very delicious! If I wasn’t in public I would have licked it clean haha.

The worst carbonara I’ve ever eaten

Cute little Italian restaurant near the city center of Amsterdam! If you’re looking for a great Italian meal, come to this cozy little spot. We have the mushroom raviolis and a pasta dish, which I was definitely not disappointed about! The service was good. Looked like it was locally owned, older gentleman that was serving us and taking care of everyone in the area. Also, pasta came from a cheese wheel! So good. Keep in mind the restaurant is smaller so it may not be great for larger parties but overall, I highly recommend coming here!!

The food and service were excellent. After a long day exploring the streets of Amsterdam, nothing beats a good pizza in a very charming place.

Gran pequeño restaurante italiano en Amsterdam. Nuestra familia (2 padres y 2 estudiantes adolescentes) estaban buscando un pequeño lugar agradable para la cena y este lugar se ajusta a la ley. El servicio era fantástico - rápido, atento y educado. Nuestra comida comenzó con una pequeña barra caliente de pan para todos y un pequeño plato de aceitunas condimentadas. Cada uno tenía una entrada diferente y todos estaban deliciosos. Maridamos nuestras comidas con cócteles y vino. Para terminar compartimos tiramisú que se terminó casi en cuanto llegó a la mesa. Hay un montón de lugares para comer en la ciudad, pero si usted está caminando es posible que desee parar y disfrutar de una copa de vino y un poco de pasta.

Having been to Italy several times, this is by far the closest to true Italian pizza and pasta in Amsterdam. Looked for pizza in Amsterdam 3 other times, literally all three seemed like frozen pizzas:-( Not this place, excellent! They have a "cheese wheel" pasta as well, presented very lively, very fun. Insalata Caprese excellent as well!

Wasn't sure about this place, but tried it out and there are definite pluses and a few minuses. The owner is very friendly and really made a great impression. We ordered the burrata and had some bread with olives to start. The bread was hot and delicious and came with olives that were out of this world. The burrata was also very good! We opted for the special pasta made in the wheel of cheese with mushrooms and truffle oil. I usually hate truffle oil, but this was really good. I had the prosciutto and mushroom pizza and it was good. For the minuses, the owner said he was from Naples and I was hoping for real Neopolitan pizza. It was not that. My expectations were too high after tasting the pasta, so perhaps that's my fault. It was still good pizza! Ordered the cannolo for dessert and for me it was a total miss. Pre-filler cannolo becomes soggy just shouldn't be served. Very disappointing. We had the bottle of Grantrio wine and it was really good! Overall an enjoyable experience!

The food was very good but the service was even better. A true gentleman let the children spin the pasta in the cheese wheel and made sure everyone was having a great time. The truffle ravioli was very good but light on truffle. My son, a very picky eater, devoured tomato sauce pasta.

We went to the restaurant on Saturday. I had the pepperoni pizza and my girlfriend had the pasta with Bolognese. Both dishes were very good! Really friendly welcome and service. It's definitely worth a visit!

Real Italian restaurant, great food.

Great food, ambiance and service. Perfect Friday dinner experience for the family. Pizza was like what we remembered having in Italy, Gnocci was yummy, Ravioli perfect and the Arrabbiata was spicy! Perfect Tiramisu to finish off the experience. All went very well with a glass of red wine! Reasonably sized indoor seating as well. Give them a try if you are in the area.

Total rip off! After reading very positive reviews we were really looking forward to our meal. Traditional Italian is our favourite. 4 people dining, all meals arrived 10 minute gaps between first 3 people, last person 20 minutes later so everyone had finished eating before the next person. No apologies for service/delay. Meals (other than 1 pizza) were tepid cold. Sadly, disappointing carbonara with curdled sauce and just 4 pieces of pancetta. We remained generous in our thoughts as there’s only 1 cook and 1 person serving the restaurant. Charged €16 for ‘service’ (for being seated in the restaurant) and informed must pay. Ordered wine/sodas but still refused tap water when eating. Charged €7 for water that only filled 2 cups. Huge issue and very embarrassing in front of other customers, I challenged the owner’s charge of €17.50 for a child portion (1 cup) of plain boiled spaghetti (son restricted medical diet). My error on reflection for not agreeing a price- something I’ve never had to do! Owner asked me to barter with charge as he has a restaurant to run and needs money. He insisted I paid €10 for 50 cents worth of pasta. You live and learn! Blooming awful, stressful experience.

Thank you for a fantastic meal today! We were a large group of 16 and Ponte Vecchio could not have done more for us. The food was delicious with a large variety of dishes for everyone, a great atmosphere and beautiful set up. However the cherry on top was the exceptional service - incredibly friendly and nothing was too much trouble, even for our very disorganised group!! A huge thank you for your flexibility and for making our last meal in Amsterdam our best one ☺️

Happened to pass by this quaint little restaurant and decided to give it a try. What a surprise! Food was FABULOUS!! Got to watch a house soecial being served from a cheese wheel warmed with cognac and served with truffle sauce and mushrooms….yum!! Highly recommend this place. Prices were absolutely reasonable for being in the heart of the city.

Pizza Verdure and Insalata Mista were the best I had in a long time, the atmosphere is cozy and friendly, and the people are empathic and super fast. I'll definitely return here again. Recommended if you like authentic Italian cuisine and atmosphere.

Pero lo que realmente hizo que nuestra visita destacara fue el increíble servicio. Nuestro servidor era una joya absoluta: tan amable, hablador y realmente atractivo. Como turistas, nos sentimos como en casa gracias a su cálida hospitalidad. Uno de los aspectos más destacados de la noche fue una espectacular presentación de pasta, donde el servidor cocinó la pasta dentro de una rueda de queso gigante justo en nuestra mesa! No solo era delicioso, sino también increíblemente divertido y entretenido de ver. Los precios son ligeramente más altos, pero honestamente, cada euro valió la pena por la calidad de la comida, el servicio y la experiencia en general. Ojalá tuviéramos más tiempo para volver — Ponte Vecchio es el tipo de lugar que quieres visitar una y otra vez. Muy recomendable a cualquiera que visite Amsterdam!
