TOZI Restaurant & Bar, Vondelpark in Willemspark

Heel gezellig. It was such a good price to value. We were 8 people, 6 adults and 2 kids. They even offered kids menu. Alba and Giro were really great, food was excellent, ambiance and decorations were delightful.

Welcoming place and excellent service. The food, however, didn't live up to expectations. The tonnarelli cacio e pepe were good but far from the original recipe. The fried calamari were overcooked and the burrata was tasteless. The bread was very good, and the tiramisu was amazing, as was the wine.

We really love this place. We have had dinner here a lot of times already, together with our 5 year old daughter. They have a great kids menu and are always super nice and attentive in giving children something to play with. The food is also delicious and the staff is amazingly friendly. Special thanks for Alexandra who is usually our host/server there, she makes us feel very welcome and is great at her job. We will continue to come her since we love it so much.

Beautiful location near Vondelpark, within walking distance of the Concertgebouw. ​​Pleasant atmosphere, good service. A bit short on time due to the restaurant opening at 18:00. We had reserved for 17:45, but were directed to the bar. At the time of the reservation, there was no indication that we could only be seated in the restaurant from 18:00.

We are critical when it comes to food. It simply has to be good. We had a truly fantastic meal at Tozi. Italian food as it is meant to be. The staff were very friendly with a personal touch. From the beginning, she took the time to present the menu and explain everything in detail, and absolutely everything she recommended was excellent. She paid attention to all the little details, was always there when we needed something, and made us feel so welcome and comfortable! We had a lovely dinner at Tozi. Atmosphere is elegant and lively. Proximity to Vondelpark is a plus. Ines was our server and she was excellent. Explained the menu well and she was very attentive. We ordered truffle pasta, foccacia with butter and anchovy as appetizers, sea bass and grilled lettuce as main, chocolate caprese as dessert. Everything was fresh and delicious.

The restaurant is very nice and the service friendly. However, the food was not so tasty. The calamari were chewy, the lamb lack some flavour and the chocolate cake was very dry. The pasta with clams was the star of the night.

Service and atmosphere were amazing! The food was mostly delicious but the lobster pasta left much to be desired. The sauce was lacking complexity. The starters were to die for- especially the octopus but also sea bream carpaccio were exceptional. Special thanks to Inés!! :)

Amazing experience. Our waitress—Alexandra—was very nice and attentive. The food was amazing as well: The meat selection was unique, and the addition of honey sauce to the cheese selection elevated it to a new level. The main courses we ordered were very tasty as well, I have nothing bad to say about this restaurant.

Had a fabulous meal here with my daughter. Chilled atmosphere, classy throughout, Alba and Bas were both incredibly attentive. Anything we didn’t understand about the menu they explained. It’s a Venetian concept - basically Italian tapas so needs a bit of negotiating with a 13-year-old! The lamb chops were a winner with my daughter and you would have to travel a very long way to find a better tiramisu. Try one of the three Italian dessert wines -. they all look lovely and in fact the cheapest was beautiful, tasting of apricot and honey as far as I could tell. We were given a beautiful amuse bouche by the chef consisting of ricotta cheese ravioli which was delicious and because it was free doesn’t count towards calories… lastly, it’s an open kitchen so you can see what’s going on which is always reassuring but definitely not necessary in this case. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for.

We had a fabulous meal here, the food was sublime. The menu offered a great selection of antipasti, we shared several which were all excellent. The pasta is freshly made on the premises...cooked to perfection. The lamb cutlets I can highly recommend as well. We finished with an excellent tiramisù. This is the best meal we have had in all our trips to Amsterdam.. the chef and staff have got it right. We will definately return... highly recommended

I love Tozi! We’ve been there now around 4 times and everytime you can trust that the food is amazing as well as the service and atmosphere. Tonight we got the zucchini fritti, which is a must! As well as the cacio e pepe, also amazing! The cacio e pepe was such a fun experience too, because Skanoler who helped us made it very interesting, he’d share fun facts about the ingredients and how they were made! Thank you so much for your help Skanoler, we truly enjoyed it🫶🏻 P.s the interior of the restaurant and the atmosphere is so beautiful!

Quite overpriced for the quality of the food and the „sharing” portions. My partner took me there as a birthday gift, as I once mentioned to him I would like to eat a truffle-themed dinner somewhere. We’re not from Amsterdam, so coming to the restaurant was our main attraction of the day. Poached egg was truly delicious (however giving only 1 egg to a couple is bit of a faux pas in my opinion… even if it’s supposed to be a sharing experience, 2 eggs would be more appreciated) , so was focaccia with burrata and zucchini.. but that would be it, as at least 2-3 other dishes were not as good. I would reconsider making zucchini frites so thin. It makes them too oily to our liking (and you end up with oily hands). Due to the shape you have to fry them really, really shortly on a very high temperature - I think maybe the oil was not hot enough? Instead of scallops we were served cod - it was smelly for the whole restaurant. We gave it a try, but at the end we sent it back - and it was a mutual decision, so something was definitely wrong. The waiter (?) told us the fish was fresh and they received it a day before. 4 raviolis for 2 people also feels like a scam, considering it a „main course” dish… Desserts and drinks were quite good, so that would be it.
