I love Tozi! We’ve been there now around 4 times and everytime you can trust that the food is amazing as well as the service and atmosphere. Tonight we got the zucchini fritti, which is a must! As well as the cacio e pepe, also amazing! The cacio e pepe was such a fun experience too, because Skanoler who helped us made it very interesting, he’d share fun facts about the ingredients and how they were made! Thank you so much for your help Skanoler, we truly enjoyed it🫶🏻 P.s the interior of the restaurant and the atmosphere is so beautiful!

Quite overpriced for the quality of the food and the „sharing” portions. My partner took me there as a birthday gift, as I once mentioned to him I would like to eat a truffle-themed dinner somewhere. We’re not from Amsterdam, so coming to the restaurant was our main attraction of the day. Poached egg was truly delicious (however giving only 1 egg to a couple is bit of a faux pas in my opinion… even if it’s supposed to be a sharing experience, 2 eggs would be more appreciated) , so was focaccia with burrata and zucchini.. but that would be it, as at least 2-3 other dishes were not as good. I would reconsider making zucchini frites so thin. It makes them too oily to our liking (and you end up with oily hands). Due to the shape you have to fry them really, really shortly on a very high temperature - I think maybe the oil was not hot enough? Instead of scallops we were served cod - it was smelly for the whole restaurant. We gave it a try, but at the end we sent it back - and it was a mutual decision, so something was definitely wrong. The waiter (?) told us the fish was fresh and they received it a day before. 4 raviolis for 2 people also feels like a scam, considering it a „main course” dish… Desserts and drinks were quite good, so that would be it.

Amazing place to eat out if you are craving for something Italian, shout out to Alexandra to make eveything so easy and created such a nice experience!

The food was all wonderful, including the tuna tartare, focaccia, soup and pasta mixed in a cheese wheel table-side. And Alexandra, our server, was so personable. Made for a great experience!

A great restaurant located right near Vondelpark, the Italian cuisine is delicious, very authentic! The service is even better. They were very attentive and made us feel at home. This is not typical Amsterdam service, it is top notch! They recommended a gorgeous wine, prepared our seabass to perfection and the pasta was perfectly aldente. A restaurant that is great for a night out or a family dinner. I recommend checking out Tozi!

Great ITALIAN Restaurant at Amsterdam

We had a delicious meal at Tozi. We were served very kindly and skillfully by Alexandra. All praise to her! What we really liked were the portions. Finally, a restaurant where it’s not about quantity but quality. After all, you can always order more. Sharing is optional, but not required. In short, a surprisingly nice restaurant in a beautiful yet quiet location in the heart of Amsterdam.

We had a delicious meal and Bas, our waiter, was super nice, really created a good atmosphere, and also helped us choose the right wine to go with the food, which was a bonus.

I really enjoyed Tozi Restaurant & Bar. The atmosphere with black and white photos on the wall and the black and white movie playing in the bar area, where we sat, made it feel unique. I had the aubergine parmasean and focaccia bread and W.O.W., both were so tasty. I can't wait to go back and try other options on their menu.

This place was exceptional and unexpected. We came from a friends recommendation and were a bit hesitant due to the 40 min walk outside of the city center but it was amazing!!! Alexandra was our server and took great care of us. The tiramisu was some of the best I’ve had along with the seabream carpaccio and ravioli. We will be back!

We were sitting in a place where it was cold and you could see hotel guests walking around where the cold came from, it seemed, which made our food cold within seconds.

Food was served very quickly, to the point where it felt rushed. Several dishes were overly salty and arrived lukewarm, which made the experience feel more like fast food than a restaurant. Our server had difficulty communicating in English, and even after we asked her to slow the pace of service, it didn’t improve.

I have never been in such a wonderful restaurant than Tozi in the Netherlands. Everybody was so nice and polite, the food was amazing like in Italy. Here you can get quality over quantity, but if you order the shared meals you can easily get full. I only can recommend this place.👌🏻

Terrible place; no communications with the front desk of the hotel and total no service. And this Italian woman playing the manager of the restaurant is a bloody shame, what a disgrace. Worst service in the city.

I made a reservation on Wednesday and received confirmation for Friday evening. On Friday afternoon at 3 p.m., I received an email saying the reservation had been canceled. I tried to contact them by phone, but ended up with a seemingly clueless secretary. She said she'd call back, but didn't. What a huge letdown if you're planning to dine somewhere, make a reservation on time, and the restaurant doesn't even bother to call if they don't have a table at the last minute or are unavailable if something goes wrong. It's incredibly unwelcoming to me!

Rafi was just amazing! Super friendly and helpful, he was patient and answered every question. Definitely made the night even better. Food and atmosphere of the restaurant are great!! Perfect for a group event or date! I would definitely recommend
