Eetcafé Feestzaal Snackbar De Veldhoek in Wijk 00 Hengelo

Friendly service, delicious food, main course with baked potatoes, fries and vegetables and plenty of choice for starters, main courses and desserts, and you can also just order a soft ice cream after the main course.

Affordable food and good service

We went there for dinner. Nice outdoor area where my daughter could also play. Super nice waiter who entertained the children in a very fun way between serving. The food was great.

Very hospitable, very friendly staff. Had a delicious meal 5 times last week; we stayed at the adjacent campsite De Garve, which is also highly recommended.

Friendly service and delicious ice cream. Nice terrace.

We had a lovely lunch with our 3 grandchildren last Sunday. Our two-and-a-half-year-old grandson also enjoyed what he calls his toasted sandwich. I had the Angus burger myself, which was perfect. The presentation on a wooden board was nice, but I would have preferred a plate underneath due to the size. This is not criticism, but a suggestion. See you next time. Kind regards, Frans Bluemers

Went with the kids' club, it was well organized and not expensive, and had a nice playground.

The quality of the food is more snack bar level than restaurant. Nothing stands out in terms of quality. Presentation mediocre (plate completely full with too many fries on top of the schnitzel and the salad), the schnitzel was really too salty, just unhealthy, so I didn't finish it completely. The salad wasn't a winner either (coarse and a mess). Friendly service, starter arrived quickly but had to wait a really long time for the main course. Glass not properly clean, just not very fresh. Weissbier in a non-typical Weissbier glass; well, it's possible of course, but it's just not quite right. Lots of flies too... (outside), constantly having to swat them away from the food. The prices are modest, but the quality reflects that. Tried it here once, but not again. You're better off going to a regular snack bar... or paying a bit more for slightly better quality food. Addition following the owner's comment: I now understand the difference (after your explanation); however, this was not clear on the menu: this (distinction) is not clearly explained there. Otherwise, I would not have chosen the "plate" but rather another dish. I was seated in the restaurant section and used your regular menu; in that case, I do not expect a snack bar dish. The fact remains that the schnitzel was exceptionally salty; this is undesirable even for a snack bar schnitzel.

Nice shady spots and friendly service. We enjoyed our meal.

It is good and tasty Friendly service; despite the crowds, the food arrived quickly.

Had a wonderful time last night and ate REALLY delicious hapas. Highly recommended, very friendly welcome, lovely service. And this is certainly not the last time!

A quick stop, we had a little something to eat, it was very tasty!

Whenever we visited the Achterhoek, we would get fries here. Joppiesauce was just becoming popular back then, and we really enjoyed it. We still stop by occasionally for a cup of coffee and lunch. A lot has changed over time, but not the friendliness, the quality, or the price. They are still top-notch!

Pleasant service. Had a tasty meal. Very reasonable prices. 👍👌

We arrived at a very full restaurant, "we are looking for a spot for 2". No effort was too much; they found a table, pulled 2 chairs from the back, and created a spot. No "Unfortunately," or "please wait at the bar until something becomes available." No, the young lady immediately looked for a solution. TOP service! And then the food—also not unimportant: the Tortilla (vegetarian version!) delicious!! I understand that it is difficult, but could the pork have 2 or 3 Better Life stars? Then the schnitzel tastes even better (my favorite, but it gives me a guilty conscience regarding animal welfare, sniff!)

Had a delicious salad after a walk in Het Zand. Friendly staff, beautiful location, and delicious food! Highly recommended 👍🏻

We had a delicious meal, friendly service,

We had dinner there at Happas. In a word, it was fantastic. It was very varied and very tasty. The presentation was also very nice. One point is that you get small dishes in small bowls or plates. It would be helpful if the cutlery were adjusted accordingly. But otherwise, it's all praise.

Delicious lunch after a long walk, see you soon.

The food was delicious, the service was good and fast. No long waits. I did make a reservation, as there was a chance they wouldn't be available on a Friday evening.

Cozy restaurant with friendly and helpful staff. Good price. And the food was incredibly good and delicious. Very satisfied!

Delicious food and friendly service Top

Great place. Reasonable prices. Highly recommended!

I was here for dinner with my family a few weeks ago. The food was quite good. We didn't have to wait because we had reservations. The atmosphere was pleasant. The service was very friendly and attentive. I recommend eating here.

We stopped by here one afternoon during a lovely geocaching tour. We stopped for a break and had a delicious meal. The service was very friendly and efficient.

Delicious, generous toasted sandwich and super tasty tuna sandwiches! A lovely stopover and a cozy spot in the sun!

Enjoyed a lovely drink with the family. Service was pleasantly quick, and portions were ample to generous.

Nice restaurant with excellent food. Friendly service.

We typed the address into Google, but we couldn't find it. So we couldn't find it.

Genuine Achterhoek hospitality, good dining options and a cozy bar where lots of things are possible!

A very original and delicious concept. It's a shame that with a large group (7 people), they arrived at different times. One group was already a lap ahead of the other.

A delicious and affordable plated menu. Nice outdoor seating and very friendly service.

Very good restaurant with a very good kitchen at a very reasonable price.

Beautiful weather and lovely cycling roads. We stopped at De Veldhoek for lunch outside on the terrace. Great spot with plenty of (bicycle) parking. Friendly service. Delicious lunch!

Delicious food, good service and friendly staff. Good price/quality ratio. We will definitely come back again.

Sit comfortably and enjoy a delicious meal

Great place, good service and food quality is average.

Had a great meal for a birthday. Child-friendly and super cozy, relaxed service. And 2 years later it was a success again!

During our vacation, we had coffee and cake there, as well as two dinners. It was delicious and plentiful. The staff was super friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is inviting. I can only recommend it!

Been here a few times now for the Hapas. Delicious small dishes. Friendly staff and great service. Also a nice playground for the kids. As for the Hapas, I think the crispy chicken salad is highly recommended!! But actually everything is delicious! Very small point for improvement: make sure that the rounds continue neatly one after the other, even when people have been sitting for a while.

Very nice restaurant, nice service and a delicious meal after a long bike ride. We'll be back.

Staff is super friendly and attentive. Nice playground for the kids to play. We also had a nice walk in the area.

Delicious hapas, enjoy food and drinks. The service is top notch

Stew was very tasty, staff very friendly.

Lovely seat, nice and quiet, excellent coffee and pastries...

Last night we had dinner at Hapa's in a nice relaxed setting with our 3-month-old daughter. Upon arrival, we thought about the most convenient place to sit. The dishes were delicious. The service was enthusiastic and perfectly timed with drinks and a chat. Spacious changing room available, even with wipes (in case you accidentally forgot them). All in all, a very successful evening for our group! Thank you and definitely see you soon! :)

What a wonderful experience! Delicious food, cozy seating and very nice staff! Compliments! We recommend this to everyone and would love to come back!

Nice sitting inside The terrace is also very cozy in the summer with a playground Friendly service Fast service We usually make reservations on weekends

Excellent feeding shed. Nothing special. Ample space for parking

We got happas, but it looked more like leftovers from lunch put together on a board. A cup with a little egg salad and tuna salad, herb butter, a mini bowl of soup, a dehydrated piece of salmon and a little mushroom gratin and a few slices of bread. Very unfortunate and especially for that price of € 16.00...

Had a delicious plate again tonight! I love these kinds of evenings ♡ We really enjoy coming here! Delicious food, more than enough and affordable. We will come back again with great pleasure.

Pick up Hapas yourself on Boxing Day. It was delicious and well taken care of. Chapau.

Today with 11 people we enjoyed your hapas dinner, everything was fine, it was more than sufficient and really super tasty, everything was well organised!

A great place to not only get fries or have a drink on the terrace, but also to enjoy hapas (small dishes) or to have a fun family day. They have a large area where you can do a sheep herding, archery, live goose boarding or ultimate challenge workshop. For less nice weather and when it gets colder, there are several rooms where you can do an indoor activity such as, minute to win it, I love Holland, etc. etc.

Very good, but it took a very long time... That's crazy considering the size of the food

The hapas are highly recommended, very tasty!

Nice cup of coffee and a delicious meatball

I only went here for a quick cup of coffee and a delicious meatball.

Nice little location with very friendly and courteous service and the food was great. Price wise also fully within the range. We are already looking forward to the next time.

Wonderfully relaxed with good reception and service. For repetition.

Was a good lunch worth repeating.

Beautiful place and delicious food

Had a delicious meal here tonight with 10 people. Friendly and smooth service. Highly recommended to eat here.

Had a super good buffet in honor of my husband's 75th birthday. It was the extensive cold and hot buffet. Delicious meat, everything was great. The beautiful playground for young and old. And the excellent service by a lady from Brabant.

Delicious food, great value for money, very friendly service, will definitely come back

Cozy and delicious food Smooth operation 👍👍

Heerlijk en smaakvol gegeten, goede prijs kwaliteit. Goede en vriendelijke bediening .We komen zeker terug. Eetgelegenheid is een aanrader.

Delicious and tasty food, good value for money. Good and friendly service. We will definitely come back. Dining options are highly recommended.

An eatery with the kitchen of a restaurant, the Hapas dishes are delicious. You can sit there (outside) and there is a playground for the children.

Good food: Hapas, small dishes. Extensive menu, favorite choices: carpaccio, wrap with brie, beef burger, pork tenderloin, steaks, Oreo parfait, waffle with warm cherries and pigtail cake. The Arretjes cake in particular is definitely worth it! Recommended for when you go out to eat: Hapa's

Cozy coffee and apple pie, nothing to complain about. Haven't eaten there yet, but hear and say you can eat well there.

Good atmosphere, friendly service and fantastic food! Whatever you order, everything is tasty and sufficient.

Delicious food! We had the hapas (tapas) and everything was excellent!

Cozy location to visit as a group. Eating with a bit of entertainment, live cooking on an old-fashioned gas stove. There was a playground outside for children.

Pause the walk in an attractive environment for a nice lunch. Pleasant service with a personal touch attention . Top.

Just super good. Especially the pancake with bacon and sausage.

The jägersnitzels are highly recommended

Hey hello, otherwise the food was fine, but the champion cream sauce was curdled and my mother thought the satay was a bit greasy. Furthermore, we always enjoy sitting with you.

Delicious food in the Veldhoek. For a nice price you can simply order a Plate here that is delicious. Satay is highly recommended and the hamburger is also great!

Ate delicious spareribs. Will definitely come here again.

Nice cafe with nice playground. Booking in advance is useful because it can be busy. Simple but great card. Recommended!

Very tasty food and very nice staff.

Welcoming, young, energetic service. Food cooked with passion, price and quality affordable and good.

Excellent quality food and for a reasonable price.

It is always very pleasant there, super tasty food, friendly and hospitable service, we really enjoy coming there

Had a nice lunch here for a reasonable price. Everything well arranged here.

- duration - tasteless food - unfriendly service

We had a nice meal, we had hapas. Service was very smooth and friendly. The food was tasty and the small dishes were nice and large. This also went smoothly. Thank you

Nice place where you can eat and drink. Pleasant! Enough parking. Super nice staff.

Delicious food!! Pleasant staff. We will come and eat with you again soon. For you 5 stars!!!

Here we had lunch together with the SCN. we will then invade with 53 people. Not all at the same time, but still. My husband had a bun and I had crispy croquettes on bread. It tasted good after our mud trek. Also good parking spaces, friendly staff and clean toilets.

To start with, the opening hours are incorrect. Already stood in front of a closed door twice in the evening. Got some fries and snacks today. The frikandel was dark brown, dry and bitter in taste. Baked way too long. Fries okay, but the portion is much too small. So is the sauce. Skinny. Shame.

Prima lunch. 12 uurtje. Nette bediening. Goeie stoelen. Keurige zaak. Ik zat buiten. Er zat flink de loop in. Ze deden goed hun best. Ik kom vast nog eens.
