Lovely place to eat. Friendly service.

Delicious food, friendly service. Make sure to book in advance, as it gets quite busy. The price is quite reasonable. Two main courses, three drinks, two cups of coffee, and a chocolate platter (4 chocolates to share) for €85.90.

That afternoon, they went out of their way to reserve a table for the five of us that evening. And it was definitely worth it. The food was delicious, the service was great and very pleasant, and the atmosphere was lovely. My birthday was a success. Definitely recommended for a meal in a southern atmosphere.

We werden heel vriendelijk verwelkomt door een attente gast heer. Op de kaart staan wat originelere gerechten dan gemiddeld. Wij kozen voor de vegetarische curry . Die was heerlijk. Voor herhaling vatbaar.

We had a wonderful time here with our team. Shared dining, a great concept. The variety of starters was enjoyable and the portions were just right. Enough main courses for everyone, and they were very tasty and beautifully presented. Desserts were again delicious and accommodating of dietary requirements. A top location in a beautiful old building.

The food and coffee are nice, though it took nearly 25 mins until the food that we ordered while the place wasn't very busy. Maybe the kitchen is very small....

We mochten voor diner alleen aan een kleintafeltje zitten na verzoek voor een vrije grote tafel waar zojuist twee mensen zaten zo inflexibel dat dat niet mocht. Onvriendelijk en inflexibel.

If you are in Harlingen, friendly place with terrific food. Never been on a very busy moment so cannot confirm or deny remarks of other reviewers about the service then. But for us 5 out of 5.

Zo hoort het. Alles klopt hier, lieve mensen, echt goed eten, mooi opgemaakt,mooie prijzen. In een prachtig pand ook nog. Hier snapt men hoe de horecabeleving moet zijn. De gast staat voorop, flesje water op tafel, top. 2 dagen later kopje koffie gedaan met appelgebak. Ook al zo een fijne ervaring. Niet twijfelen dus: hier kun je gerust naar binnen! Of buiten.. ook prachtig.

Prachtig oude ambiance, ontzettend lekker brood🍞 als vooraf, het hoofdgerecht was voor beide, vis en vlees, en de bijgerechten was gewoon top, had wel iets meer tijd tussen gemogen, maar was heerlijk, een aanrader hoor!

Best place in a long time. All servants were individuals with great, pleasant personalities, and the food was outstanding so the kitchen team members were as good as the front desk folks. We were slightly disappointed with the city, but our restaurant experience more than compensated for this. Thanks for the relaxed and great atmosphere. Highly recommend to pay them a visit!

Beautiful building with appropriate furnishings. Extremely friendly team. Don't wait long for the meal, but don't rush it either. Clear attention to the guests. Keep in mind that parking nearby can be a challenge. Recommended.

Gezellig eetcafé! Leuk ingericht, vlotte vriendelijke bediening. Ook naar de kinderen zeer attent meteen een kinderstoel brengen , tekening en kleurtjes. Lekker gegeten alles was heel verzorgd. Super ervaring! Het is nu de 3de keer dat we in Harlingen komen (verspreid over enkele jaren) telkens bij Nooitgedagt gaan eten steeds zeer goed!

We went to this restaurant spontaneously and were thrilled. Looks really great from the inside, the staff is really friendly and they took the time to translate/explain dishes to us. The food was incredibly delicious! We were lucky that the two of us got a seat without a reservation, but a reservation is necessary for better seats.

Received with table water for lunch. Nice, friendly service & prices. Delicious food. Generous portions. 2 thick slices of bread are reserved with the soup. Also well informed about gluten-free options and plenty of options. Gluten-free pastrami sandwich was very tasty. Small but tasty cappuccino.

Enjoyed sitting on the terrace in the sun. Appetizer platter with cheese/bread was also tasty. Menu for dinner looked good 👌🏼

Super good atmosphere, very tasty and special dishes and prepared with a lot of attention. As standard you get a bottle of delicious tap water that is refilled every time. The wine was also very good, in short, highly recommended!

Rarely have we experienced such attentive and friendly service! The map is clear and exciting! Local cuisine with a modern twist that you rarely experience so positively. We were thrilled with the Christmas menu. Slow-roasted venison with a stunning “duck variation” first. The vegetarian menu was at least as sophisticated. Pear Wellington with blue cheese cream... Nice atmosphere, an all-round successful evening. Highly recommended!!!

Na bezoek kerstmarkt gegeten bij Nooitgedacht. Mooie plek op de verdieping en heerlijk gegeten. De shortrib is aan te bevelen. Even gekeken op google,wat bewerkelijk vlees! Is meer dan de prijs waard! Ook de tarbot was heerkijk. Dit dan in combi met vriendelijke leuke bediening maakt de avond compleet!

A contemporary restaurant where you can enjoy very tasty food. Nice atmosphere too. But I also have other experiences. Unfortunately, when it was busy, the kitchen was unable to serve what was on the menu. Foam melted, steak raw, vegetables limp. Well, I'm going there now outside the tourist season.

Ate here yesterday with a large group of people. I often walked past it in the summer and thought it was a beautiful (photogenic) building. 1. Very friendly service! You don't see that everywhere anymore. 2. Food was great! Very good! 3. The atmosphere of this location is great. I will definitely come by again!!

Fantastische lunch gegeten; Tosti met basilicum-humus-gegrilde groenten- mozzarella en pesto. Net aan de nieuwe menukaart toegevoegd en een echte aanrader en zeker om voor terug te komen.

We ate a 3-course dinner with 6 people. All dishes with fresh products and imaginatively presented. The service also deserves praise. This was the 2nd time we came here but now our favorite in Harlingen.

Wir waren immer sehr zufrieden und sind schon häufiger hier eingekehrt. Das Essen ist sehr gut und der Service ausgesprochen freundlich. Diesmal wurde unsere Begeisterung aber getrübt ! Für 2 Scheiben Brot mit Butter als Beilage € 7,50 zu berechnen, ist unverschämt, zumal es angeboten wurde und nicht auf der Karte stand.

Celebrated our parents' 60th wedding anniversary in Harlingen with, among other things, a dinner at the Nooitgedagt café. ENJOYED with capital letters the personal service, delicious food and the surroundings. A delicious 'bridal' cake for dessert made by the in-house pastry chef. An unforgettable moment. Thank you again dear team Nooitgedagt!

We had a delicious lunch here. The terrace is picturesque and the plants and herbs give the impression that the food is fresh (that's how it tastes). There is plenty of choice between fish, meat and vegetarian. The dishes grow with the seasons. And the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Nice place in the center of Harlingen. Nice menu with tasty dishes. Service very friendly. Instant bottle of water on the table, great! And just a new one when the first one was empty. They should do that everywhere. Small side note: I thought the portion of risotto was on the small side. But very tasty.
