Had to ask three times for a portion of bitterballen. After about 45 minutes, still nothing. No questions asked if we wanted drinks either. So bad.

Very tasty food. No 5 stars because the red wine with the main course was much too cold. (Apologies were offered for this in advance) and because I said I had a strawberry allergy and the dessert contained strawberries. We also received apologies & free coffee for this. It remains manual work and sometimes things go wrong. All in all; we will definitely come back again.

What a wonderful meal we had here last fall. The staff really gives you the feeling of luxury and atmosphere. They take your coat and escort you out of the building. For everyone who loves good culinary food at a friendly price. Go here!

Come to Marco & Inez for the 3rd time in their beautiful establishment in idyllic Harlingen. With their team they continue to surprise with delicious and tasteful culinary highlights. In an atmospheric ambiance, the service is perfect and smooth with clear information about what is being served. With our group we look back on a more than successful dinner.

Great restaurant quite posh and we thought with our motorcycle clothing on hmmm. But what a professional approach of the staff very nice and open !!! We ordered the fries with stew this was very tasty and nicely presented and was served with all the respect. Tops in the catering industry !! 😘

During King's Day we sat on the terrace for a drink. It took a while before the order was taken and then again before the order arrived. They thought about a bowl of water for the dog. Nice in the sun on the terrace. Very bearable.

Voor ons de 2de keer dat wij hierheen gingen i.v.m onze trouwdag en alweer was het verrukkelijk! Je krijgt ook leuke amuses erbij. De gerechten zien er mooi uit. De service is goed, dus eigenlijk écht een aanrader.

The two of us had the four-course menu with appetizers. 34 weeks pregnant at the time of visit and this was neatly taken into account by e.g. my salmon by cooking (but my husband's was as it was intended) the food was incredibly delicious! The service was fantastic. The waiter thinks about what would be nice to drink with it (given that the dishes are a surprise, that input is useful to know what goes with it). I haven't had such a good meal in years. Wish I could give more than 5 stars!

Bij rondwandeling Harlingen wilden we even lunchen. Broodje kaas, of zo. We liepen binnen bij 't Havenmantsje en het werd één groot feest. Heerlijk geluncht, geen broodje kaas, maar culinair super. Fijne bediening. Eén groot feest! Genoten. (En zelfs de prijs viel mee...)

Wat een heerlijke, gezellige avond; eten perfect, bediening perfect, zitplaats perfect, wijn perfect;-) Dit was de tweede keer sinds we in Harlingen zijn gaan wonen op onze oude dag en zeker een uitdaging voor de volgende keer, wat een totaal plaatje! Dus snel tot ziens.

Marco Poldervaart heeft een uitstekend keukenteam dat ook de kwaliteit levert tijdens zijn afwezigheid, dat hebben wij meerdere keren ondervonden. De gerechten zijn allemaal zeer smakelijk bereid en met oog voor detail opgemaakt. Het Havenmantsje staat ook bekend om zijn amuses. Het is hier geen klein lepeltje maar een mooi uitgebalanceerd klein gerecht. Ook de bediening is vriendelijk en deskundig. Je voelt je hier welkom en verwend.

What an experience it was. In one word fantastic!! We had a 5 course dinner and it was better than expected. Very tasty meal with great appetizers and a well-matched wine arrangement. Perfect Christmas atmosphere. Very attentive service. Bread with oil and smoked salt was delicious. The Harbor burger was surprisingly served. The burger itself was really too salty. The fries were still just warm. The ambiance made up for a lot.

Here you will be served with the most beautiful dishes and wines with all due respect. Our ultimate evening out, especially during the chef's table in the cooking studio where master chef Marco Poldervaart prepares about 15 dishes on the spot. The chefs usually know how to incorporate all the flavors into each dish, a unique experience and a feast for the taste buds and the eye, because that's something too.

What a delicious meal we had here. I think the pictures speak for themselves. The service was really great, what a sweet woman. If we ever come to Harlingen again, we will definitely go here.

Had a delicious meal and enjoyed the beautiful view over the water in the conservatory. In terms of food, one of the very best restaurants in the province. We opted for the all-in package of 6 courses plus champagne and pairing wines and that was more than sublime. One flavor explosion followed another in rapid succession. Even with a Social Deal package, the service was as you would expect from a restaurant with this recommendation. Don't go here for a quick bite, but when you want to enjoy taste bud-caressing explosions of flavor, time and time again. From amuse to desert, in one word, enchanting. Completed with a matching wine arrangement, the party is complete. Don't be shocked by the bill because quality is simply not cheap. One small downside: after three quarters of the evening was over, the extremely friendly, well-trained wait staff started filling the cutlery drawer with washed cutlery, which did not improve the relaxing ambiance. Furthermore, a top spot and highly recommended for the enjoying Burgundians among us.

We ate a delicious four-course surprise menu. With 4 more appetizers. They must ensure that everyone is served the same amount of wine. The table next to us had full glasses and I sat with approximately the same glasses as the ladies on the other side next to us with a half wine arrangement. But I had to pay the full price. A typical cafe and cake restaurant. Very suitable for family trips, because on the SAS BRUG you can relax and watch the ships go by and have a great time while doing so. The only catch: there are no pegs here. Otherwise the service is very friendly, charming and refreshing.

My partner got food poisoning after we ate here. Been terribly ill all night. The way this is solved here is anything but neat. It certainly wasn't their fault, perhaps it was our breakfast? Unfortunately, not the response we expected and we will certainly not be coming here again.

Had coffee this morning on the terrace of restaurant t Havenmantsje. After asking 3 times if we could order, we finally succeeded. During our coffee, weedkiller was sprayed liberally around us! When we asked what was being sprayed with, we received a vague answer... It smelled unpleasant. According to the person, it had to happen at this moment. When paying, I complained that it is very undesirable to do this while the terrace is occupied. Then close the terrace if necessary!! No tips for these people.
