A very fine restaurant with an exceptionally large number of young staff. The dishes not only look fantastic, but they taste just as good. The restaurant also boasts a stunning view of Harlingen, thanks to its many windows and large, open space. The service is first-class, and you can enjoy regional specialties prepared in a street food style or as fine dining. I would definitely return anytime.

We came here with a discount coupon, but all our expectations were exceeded. The food was of excellent quality. The accompanying wines complemented the menu perfectly. We had a three-course meal with the cheese platter. Reservations are required. The service was excellent!

All the courses were beautifully presented, but unfortunately quite small and served in homeopathic portions. We left the restaurant hungry. The meat and mushrooms were very tasty. I didn't enjoy the other courses. The female server was rude, played with her fingers in her mouth, and then served with unwashed hands.

We've had several pleasant meals here, including lunch and dinner with various groups. The food is excellent and has a lot of potential. It's not far off earning a star. The ambiance is very nice and stylishly decorated. The service is attentive and fun. Some guests don't immediately understand the quality and the offerings. The menu and offerings could be a bit more consistent to avoid confusion for spontaneous guests. The dishes are very harmoniously seasoned. Things could be a bit more creative/provocative here, or perhaps a cooler wine pairing. It could also be more regional, as the local produce is constantly improving and deserves to be mentioned by name. We're already looking forward to the next visit and wish the team a happy end to the year.

Wow! 4-hour dinner - fun! Reserved as recommended by the Michelin Guide. We had the 6-course menu with drinks. At under €300 for two people, it was the best value for money we've had in years. A clear recommendation! We had a great table overlooking the harbor. The service and the location were outstanding! Great food! There were always little culinary surprises between the booked courses. Perfect wine selection for each course. Champagne, water, coffee/espresso beforehand – whatever you want is included. Keep it up! The photos speak for themselves.

We arrived a little early and our table was ready. We were on the slightly colder but very clean side, the other dining room is much more glazed. The menu is simple with surprise appetizers. The beef tartare and the wagu beef pasta were excellent. The service is very good except that the menu is only in German so you have to ask for a translation otherwise the value for money is very good for a Michelin. The price of the dishes is also very reasonable.

We had a wonderful meal here on our 30th birthday. Not only was the food delicious, but the service was also enthusiastic. The evening completely lived up to our expectations, and we'd love to come back again.

Before I start praising the restaurant, a few brief comments. As an aperitif, we were given the choice of Cava or Champagne, even though there were plenty of other options. Just give the menu to your guests and let them choose, because the gin was excellent! Otherwise, nothing but praise for the food, the accompanying wines, and the friendly service. This restaurant is highly recommended, and we'll happily return when we're in the area. Keep up the good work, and a Michelin star is on its way.

Dining out, the way it should be. The team surprised us wonderfully, and it was a success. We enjoyed dishes we wouldn't normally order. We were also treated to extra amuse-bouches on the house, which, just like the other courses, were beautifully and deliciously presented. The service was excellent, with an experienced host who, along with his enthusiastic students, gave us a fantastic experience. Finally, the atmosphere was beautiful, homey, and spotlessly clean.

Wow, what a gem of the North! Taste buds are on holiday at 't Havenmantsje in Harlingen. A beautiful location, fantastic food, and very competent staff. Okay, you're probably wondering what's so great? Everything, really. The butter with the crispy roll, the black garlic-laced salt with the delicious oil? Yes, that, and everything that comes after. The KFC cauliflower, sea bass, veal, everything! But we were blown away by the incredibly delicious non-alcoholic cocktails that perfectly matched the menu: hats off!

Yesterday I enjoyed a six-course all-inclusive dinner at Het Havenmantsje in Harlingen. It was my second time, this time with my girlfriend, and once again it was a fantastic experience. On a balmy summer evening, with the sun slowly setting over the harbor, we were treated to a parade of refined dishes. Our taste buds were thoroughly spoiled; this restaurant is absolutely Michelin-star worthy. Whether you like fish or not, go there. The kitchen offers sublime options for everyone, and the team is warm, knowledgeable, and hospitable. Their wine expertise is impressive and truly adds to the experience. We enjoyed ourselves for over four hours at the table, without a single moment feeling drawn out. The all-inclusive package is more than worth the price. Everything you hear about Het Havenmantsje is true, and perhaps even more so. A culinary recommendation of the highest caliber.

Had to ask three times for a portion of bitterballen. After about 45 minutes, still nothing. No questions asked if we wanted drinks either. So bad.

Here, you'll be served with the utmost respect, enjoying the most beautiful dishes and wines. Our ultimate evening out, especially during the chef's table in the cooking studio, where master chef Marco Poldervaart prepares about 15 dishes on the spot. The chefs usually manage to incorporate all the flavors into each dish, a unique experience and a feast for the taste buds and the eyes, because that's what counts too. Very friendly hosts. We completely disagree with the negative reviews, which we think are grossly exaggerated compared to the actual experience.

We had a wonderful meal here last fall. The staff truly creates a sense of luxury and ambiance. They even take your coat and escort you out of the building. For anyone who enjoys delicious food at a reasonable price, this is the place to go!

Where the Tax and Customs Administration once ensured that excise and import duties were correctly levied and collected, there's now a fine restaurant. The beautiful decor and delicious dishes make it well worth a visit.

Very tasty food. No 5 stars because the red wine with the main course was much too cold. (Apologies were offered for this in advance) and because I said I had a strawberry allergy and the dessert contained strawberries. We also received apologies & free coffee for this. It remains manual work and sometimes things go wrong. All in all; we will definitely come back again.

Come to Marco & Inez for the 3rd time in their beautiful establishment in idyllic Harlingen. With their team they continue to surprise with delicious and tasteful culinary highlights. In an atmospheric ambiance, the service is perfect and smooth with clear information about what is being served. With our group we look back on a more than successful dinner.

During King's Day we sat on the terrace for a drink. It took a while before the order was taken and then again before the order arrived. They thought about a bowl of water for the dog. Nice in the sun on the terrace. Very bearable.

The two of us had the four-course menu with appetizers. 34 weeks pregnant at the time of visit and this was neatly taken into account by e.g. my salmon by cooking (but my husband's was as it was intended) the food was incredibly delicious! The service was fantastic. The waiter thinks about what would be nice to drink with it (given that the dishes are a surprise, that input is useful to know what goes with it). I haven't had such a good meal in years. Wish I could give more than 5 stars!

Bij rondwandeling Harlingen wilden we even lunchen. Broodje kaas, of zo. We liepen binnen bij 't Havenmantsje en het werd één groot feest. Heerlijk geluncht, geen broodje kaas, maar culinair super. Fijne bediening. Eén groot feest! Genoten. (En zelfs de prijs viel mee...)

Wat een heerlijke, gezellige avond; eten perfect, bediening perfect, zitplaats perfect, wijn perfect;-) Dit was de tweede keer sinds we in Harlingen zijn gaan wonen op onze oude dag en zeker een uitdaging voor de volgende keer, wat een totaal plaatje! Dus snel tot ziens.

De gerechten zijn allemaal zeer smakelijk bereid en met oog voor detail opgemaakt. Het Havenmantsje staat ook bekend om zijn amuses. Het is hier geen klein lepeltje maar een mooi uitgebalanceerd klein gerecht. Ook de bediening is vriendelijk en deskundig. Je voelt je hier welkom en verwend.

Perfect Christmas atmosphere. Very attentive service. Bread with oil and smoked salt was delicious. The Harbor burger was surprisingly served. The burger itself was really too salty. The fries were still just warm. The ambiance made up for a lot.
