I've had a drink and a snack here several times now, and on a number of occasions I've had the feeling that the amount I paid was higher than expected. Initially, I assumed this might have been the result of a miscalculation, but now that this feeling has arisen repeatedly, I think it's important to bring this to your attention.

We had a delicious meal, although the price-quality ratio is a bit high. €6.50 for a plate of fries with truffle mayonnaise is quite substantial. The fries were well-cooked, and the Parmesan cheese on top was a nice touch. The meatball sandwich with satay was truly delicious – highly recommended. The ham and cheese toastie was well-filled, but unfortunately, it wasn't grilled long enough, so the cheese hadn't melted. With a little more time, it would have been perfect. The service was friendly but clearly overloaded. They should have had two people here; now, one person had to do everything: serving, getting drinks, and taking the bill. As a result, it took a long time and there wasn't much time for attention or a quick chat. It's a shame, because it wasn't her lack of effort. We will definitely be back.

With a friend we both ordered chicken satay with fries at lunch time on 11-12-25, friendly service, nice staff, great food.

A roadside diner that does exactly what it says on the tin. There's a wide array of simple sandwiches of above-average-but-not-quite-groundbreaking quality, all for an affordable price. The service was fast, but not blazingly so. The atmosphere is quaint, but not unique. The staff is nice, and mostly just keeps to themselves. Above all, it certainly beats going to the Subway, KFC or Burger King nextdoor.

The food was absolutely terrible, the atmosphere was awful. The chicken wasn't cooked through, and the sandwiches were bad. There were four of us, and everyone had stomach aches!

Tuna sandwich for €5.50, but there was barely any tuna in it. It's also a shame my friend had almost finished his fried eggs before my meagerly filled sandwich followed. I never went there, and this one won't be either.

I always wanted try from this restaurant but now I have tried I would never go back . My bread had a fungus (blue / greenish spots) and when showed it to the lady she says it’s just the bread , I mean like you can clearly see it’s not bread it’s fungus or something else. But she denied and says it’s fresh 🙄 I wouldn’t even give this one star

If people sit alone at a large table, it fills up quickly. If you come in with three people, that's a shame.

They charge 4 € to give me a very small bread with only two slices of salami no cheese no sla nothing!!! Very professional, I don’t think so!!! Never again!!!

As the ladies become calmer inside, they apparently have difficulty working quickly and adequately. Someone sitting in the restaurant is apparently not that important when the boyfriend of one of the employees comes in. He was able to place his order immediately and had all his attention, is my last review of this company, because I will not be going there again, from now on I will stop at Total, where the service and the food are excellent. Update, today I picked up hamburgers for the 2nd time, the 1st time a bit raw, benefit of the doubt, the 2nd time, suitable for the Clicko, then throw them in the fat as before, making them on the plate goes very poorly. This afternoon a bouncer with a spoiled egg. I gently spoke to the waiter about this and he immediately responded that it didn't look good. So there's nothing wrong with the operation. The cook thought very differently about this... it had been in the pan for too long was her answer, to which my husband responded, but it also stinks. Oh well, so you think it stinks. In the end I received a new one, albeit on the bread on which the spoiled egg had also been placed. Once again the service was fine, but they should fire the cook. He doesn't understand it all yet.

Frikandel special with curry became tomato ketjsjupp... fries and croquette were well done... service was a sweet, nice woman, but did not hear the word currie.....

Almost ripped off twice, pay attention to the bill, always at least €1 too much, yuck.

Surprisingly good. After a disappointment at the neighbors (because this restaurant is located on a small food plaza), this is a pleasant surprise. Quite extensive menu of very good quality and friendly service. In addition, there is free parking in front of the door, and it is easily accessible near the Alkmaar ring road. Maw, we will definitely come back here.

This morning I had a meatball sandwich and a Russian salad sandwich. I find the price structure a bit illogical. Croquette sandwich €3 and a Russian salad sandwich €4. That Russian salad sandwich was very thinly applied and very simple and boring in taste. This business has built up a good image, probably because of regular customer relationships. In my opinion, the quality does not match that image. I don't want to be a curmudgeon, but I want to help you a little by asking you to do a little better. Make it something special!

Was too early for an appointment, so we stopped at Eethuis c as ge Konijn in Alkmaar. Had a cup of coffee served by the friendly manager. Toilet was clean, parking no problem. Great.

The croquettes and bitterballen are incredibly tasty, a bit pricey, but that is reflected in the quality of the food.

The most limp nasty schnitzel I've ever had. And even though I reported it, nothing was done about it. He was floating in the croma, the fat foam was on it. never go there again you crap.
