Snackhouse Royaal in Huiswaard

It is super cozy here and I come here quite often. The food is super tasty and you can play Connect Four yourself while you wait. You have a lot of choice in what you want and you really don't have to wait long for your food, and the staff is friendly.

The veal croquettes were fried so much too long that there was no filling left inside. And of course, we only found out when we got home. Very disappointing. The fries, however, were good. The 'it takes about 5 minutes' ended up being a 25-minute wait.

1 star, definitely. If you order a small ice cream cup, you get a small sauce container. 2 bites and you're done for 2.75. How rude. Fresh fries are frozen fries. You have to wait a long time for your food. Don't go there, they are also very expensive.

You ask for cocktail sauce and that was no problem, they asked for sambal but we didn't want that. But what do you get, sauce over your chicken shoarma and fries that was so spicy that it was inedible. Reported and returned but no apologies, nothing at all. Waste of €9.95 for the few fries that were not poured over.

Very bad. And the ball sandwich was really salty and cold and the fries were very dry and hard.

The food is always delicious and definitely well-priced. It can sometimes take a while if you order through Thuisbezorgd, but it's more than worth it. I recently forgot to order a drink, but they personally brought it to me fifteen minutes later! Great place!

The vlaminck is better, but here they also have nicer fries and sauce. Expensive though.

12.00 hours a super long wait until the break is over.... No sweet. Fries very hard.... 1 man inside... The other thought it necessary to drink coffee somewhere else.....

I called by phone to place an order and asked for it to be delivered. This was not possible by telephone and had to be done via the home delivery app. The app indicated that orders could not be placed initially. Finally (10 minutes later) it worked. We found that quite cumbersome. I placed the order at 6:08 PM on the app. I was able to indicate there that the order would be delivered at 7:00 PM. The delivery person took a sharp detour via the live food tracker before the food reached us. We ended up waiting a total of 1 hour and 40 (!!) minutes before it was delivered! It was 7:40 PM! Too ridiculous for words. The burger was lukewarm, the fries were cold and the milkshakes were melted.

No. Fresh fries are certainly not fresh (or perhaps only in the sense of 'not three days old') so the name is a bit misleading. Croquettes were shriveled on the inside and tasted of nothing, Lidl own brand is better. Healthy sandwich just bland, paper thin toppings, cheapest ham and cheese. All in all not impressive and not worth repeating.

A friendly and clean place. they make all their products really good and beautiful. I haven't come across such a quality place for a while. We always come over and eat once a week. a place you must visit? If you are visiting Alkmaar, fill in the directions here.

Very friendly employees who are really nice to talk to. She also explained why they don't deliver and in my opinion a really good reason. Because who wants weak fries when they really deliver good quality!? That's why they don't deliver and you can always call them to pick it up. And honestly, I would really use them because they are good and I think the peanut sauce is the best in Alkmaar SWS!!! That's why they get a big 5 stars from me!!! So come and eat there because it is really worth it and take advantage of the home delivery option and order something there if you want your fries and the tastiest peanut sauce!!!

Terrible service, slow and uninterested in the customer. Fries are shoveled into a bag while this employee is on the phone with an acquaintance. It's multitasking, but I don't think it's the intention. In short, not recommended. There is also a great snack bar at North station and also in the Winkelwaard. These are excellent alternatives.

Times are wrong. I was standing in front of a closed door... Very unfortunate, I would have liked something tasty... It closed at 8 o'clock instead of half past 8

One of the worst snack bar experiences I've had. After waiting 25 minutes I had to ask for my order, they had forgotten it. They responded with a poorly served, cold portion of fries. I hope for the sake of the case that this was a one-off. No KFC nearby.

What a lack of interest this afternoon. 2 staff, cashier will make private calls while there is a queue, no chance. Gozer is doing quite well. Maid repeatedly forgets to deliver for another customer. You're not going to win the french fry war like that. #dividivifan
