Eethuis ten Kate/Warung Swietie in Kinkerbuurt

Everything is sticky and too dirty to touch with tongs. The owner is rude and incredibly unfriendly. The toilet has been broken for 10 years, and most of the menu items are missing. In short: NOT DOABLE!

The meat sausage and noodles are so delicious here, the best meat sausage here and a very nice lady :)

Quality of food is okay compared to the prices . Looks like a family business, authentic people .. but they really have to take care of the hygiene in the place ! Honestly the place looks like a storage or something , lots of boxes everywhere around the tables , I’ve gave this place several chances already but i always got s very sticky table ! Food can taste good sometimes ! Worth the try actually

Just plain glass in my sandwich. It tastes just like it looks inside. Then that woman lies about who made that pom. Never go there!

Delicious food, only they never answer the phone and it's a shame, especially when you order something with satay, they say with peanut sauce, normally satay sauce comes with a chicken satay

I thought it was a filthy place, the portions were tiny, and most importantly: there was a woman behind the counter who was so snappy with me that I immediately felt ill. I went in cheerfully, but I was treated so rudely. What a tone. You're greeted at the counter with a sign: the roti doesn't include an egg! That set the tone. And when you get home, you find—yes, indeed—a thick gray hair in your roti. I was hoping for a nice place nearby for roti. But I'm never, ever going back there again.

Delicious freshly made sandwiches and a lovely lady! The roti roll, nasi and bami are also worth trying.

Typically Surinamese, very nice to see! The sandwiches are great. I don't like roti and soato soup here, but it is still tasty and highly recommended. You cannot pay by card, cash or QR scanning

Warung Swieti is called Tussardi's Place.

A tiny diner with three tables and a friendly lady who is often in the kitchen so you often have to wait a while. The food is delicious and they mainly attract Surinamese and Antillean customers. You're going to eat something there, not eat out. There are packages in the room, I think they are a shipping point for foreign countries. There is no pin, but right next to it there is a cigar shop with a vending machine.

The food is nice! Which makes up for the atmosphere and service. It really is an old-fashioned Warung. You shouldn't want to sit there just to have fun. Next time I'll do take away. You cannot pay VAT by card until the end of August. So bring cash.

Kom hier al sinds ik klein ben, heerlijk eten. Lieveling is: ( telo bakkeljauw, saoto soep en bakabana ) lieve medewerkers ook!

Rijs met kouseband+groente + spitskool bakkeljauw heeerlijk en vooral de garnalen sambal is een aanrader. Qua looks misschien Niet de sjiekste tent maar wel authentiek heerlijk lekker surinaams, soso lobi

Een aankleding alsof je in een Braziliaanse achterbuurt bent, ongelijk belegde broodjes, kouseband door de bakkeljauw, chagrijn achter de toonbank en er wordt naar je geroepen als je bestelling klaar is.

Vriendelijk en bekwaam personeel. Was oorspronkelijk gevestigd bij de Albert Cuyp en heeft nu meerdere vestigingen in de stad. Ik heb er altijd met erg veel smaak gegeten tegen een uiterst schappelijke prijs.

Eten is heerlijk en het is echt surinaams javaans, niet zoals sommigen die hun smaak aanpassen. Eten is er vers, maar voor leker eten mag je wel even wachten vooral als het vers is Beste eethuis van Amsterdam en een goeie service.

Geweldig lekkere gerechten van kok Michael. Tahu Lontong is onnavolgbaar. Heerlijke bami met veel verschillende keuzemogelijkheden. Maken zelfs de Cassavechips zelf ! Een echte aanrader !

Ze bereiden ALLES vers, waardoor je geduld soms op de proef wordt gesteld. Maar dan..... bijvoorbeeld de sateh, de pindasaus. Werkelijk nergens anders in Amsterdam heb ik ze lekkerder geproefd. Wil je vers en heerlijk Surinaamse heerlijkheden. Dan gewoon even geduld alstublieft.

Been eating here for years, don't let the interior fool you. The food is authentic and proper. Love their saoto, thelo with cod, pitjil & sandwiches. The ladies could smile more, but I don't think it'b because their not good/nice people =)

Good food, reasonable price and adequate service. I'm sure that I'll go there again.

De dames achter de balie mogen best nu en dan glimlachen, wat mij betreft.. Eten was verder prima

Lekkere bami, saté, baka bana en saoto. Ook de eigenares is heel vriendelijk.

Heel lekkere roti en rundvlees. Goed voor even een snelle afhaal als je geen zin hebt om te koken.

Sfeervol is anders maar het eten is heerlijk! Beste roti ooit.
