We ate here after going out, it was delicious. The staff was super hospitable.

This is Leiden's shawarma place. The meat and sauces are also great there. And the father and son are always friendly.

The food arrived 35 minutes later than stated, no one answered the phone, the delivery driver didn't read the instructions, and the food was completely cold. Today, someone answered the phone and responded curtly, saying it was busy and that he didn't appreciate me writing a bad review, which he did read. No apology, just anger and disconnected the call. If he had reacted differently, I would have edited the review, but now... Decide for yourself what you do with this.

It was very quiet when we went there and it looked just a tad run down - might just be their style though. We saw there were a lot of delivery drivers coming and going, so maybe most sales aren’t in store but online. Fair enough! Other than that the people in the store were nice. We got big portions of food. It was a bit different than expected, for example the garlic sauce was quite sweet. Not bad but interesting! It was good in its own way. Decent choice for a day were you don’t want to cook. :)

When you order a Lamb sandwich of 7 euros, keep in mind you get the tiniest pita with the driest lamb on it. Smaller and thinner than my handpam.... Disgraceful really.

**BAD QUALITY** 2 simple Turkish pizzas cost us €22,-. Pizzas were lukewarm/almost cold. Very soggy and lettuce was completely soaked. Didn't taste like the "normal" Turkish pizza either. NEVER, NEVER AGAIN!!

Turkish pizza worst I have ever eaten, tasted like brinta, was 1 mouthful of soup! Delivery was fine on time. Called to find a solution but unfortunately already closed….

Very neat and clean business. Good workers and especially tasty shoarma..

I've gotten food here before and usually I had to deal with the owner's son. He has always helped me well and delivered good food. After a while I ordered here again for the first time and it was a completely different experience. I was called and apparently my order was not clear. When I called back the owner was very rude and nothing was his fault. Too bad, but I definitely wouldn't order or pick up from here again.

Always delicious food here. Friendly owner with his son. Always nice to eat a shawarma sandwich or a mafia sandwich here.

To be honest, I have nothing to say about this, it is incredibly amazing that someone can treat their customers like this... I just ordered a large hair salon and everything is in the bag and it is not warm. I called and was supposed to be called back, but in the end I found out that I was blocked... in doing so I paid €20 for a hair salon that was ultimately delivered completely empty and the restaurant was inaccessible and sad. NEVER ORDER HERE AGAIN ‼️‼️ ‼️‼️

If I order a doner sandwich, I get a container with tough meat (not a doner) and loose rolls and sauce, not even vegetables? didn't taste like anything. never experienced anything like this.

The food is always good, but this time there was a black hair in it. I ordered via home delivery and accidentally had a different house number in it, so she called me and told me the right number. After the incident with the hair, I thought I would report it because a hair in your food is quite gross. I said very politely that there was a black hair in my food, he said yes, you had the wrong house number and it was very busy, not normal. Well, then I exploded and said no, there was a black hair in my food, that's normal. Well, the food is normal. tasty but tasty or not, no more Mazens for me. Nice staff there.

Been a number of times now after I had appointments in Leiden. The owner is a very friendly man and his shawarma is definitely one of the best I've eaten. Highly recommended!

Goede kapsalon en erg vriendelijk geholpen

Vriendelijk geholpen door personeel. Kapsalon was zeer goed. Heel lekkere kruiden en knoflooksaus. Heb ik nog niet eerde geproefd op een kapsalon. Zeker aan te raden.

mazen makes kibbe. they call it ingevuld lamsgehakt. filled in lamb. a crunchy outside of bulghur and spiced lamb inside. the british used to call these 'torpedos' b/c they're teardrop shaped. when i was young i ate them with squeezes of lemon juice... it's a hard food to find in the first place. but to find it THIS well done? i searched for YEARS in america and noone came close. and then, there i was...living across the street from this place. my middle name is 'lucky'. ; - ) they also have VERY good shoarma here. mazen makes his own sauces and they are EXcellent. this place is one of the best kept secrets in Leiden.

Iets meer kip, iets minder patat. Of meer alles maar meer kip over alles, en kaas ook meer zoizo. -De grote kip kapsalon die eigenlijk niet zo groot was en niet genoeg kip & kaas had. 👍

de bezorger had geen idee waar die was, hij moest lang zoeken naar mijn woon locatie en aan de telefoon was hij niet duidelijk en amber aanspreekbaar. het eten was best koud en niet even gaar. bezorger leek ook niet echt vrolijk te zijn helaas.....ook hing die zomaar op aan de telefoon. bestel hier niet!!! Mazen's oprecht heerlijk grote bak KAPSALOENNN! na jaren zoeken eindelijk de zaak gevonden die ik zocht. Eten was in prijs verhouding van perfectie, Bezorger was snel vriendelijk en had grote joope ( dit raad ik elke single sticker aan) het was gvd goed te vreten😍

Weer een heerlijke kapsalon en broodje maffia gehaald, altijd goed eten en word altijd goed geholpen.

Grote kapsalon besteld. Viel een beetje tegen omdat er geen salade op het board zat (zoals aangegeven in de kaart).

Besteld op Zondag rond 17.00, Dat is altijd een moeilijke en drukke tijd om te bestellen. Mazen had het eten binnen 40 minuten bij ons en het eten was nog goed warm en keurig verpakt. Dit was onze eerste keer en wij zijn tevreden met de kwaliteit en Service van Mazen.

Mazens , vroeger altijd al gezellig en lekker eten afgelopen weekend voor t eerst in jaren weer geweest. Zelfde bekende gezichten en het zelfde lekkere eten 💪🏼

Op zich kwalitatief een prima pita gyros. Het is alleen achterlijk duur en ontzettend weinig. Je betaalt een dubbele prijs voor de helft van de hoeveelheid.
