Efem Pizza en Döner in Westlandgracht

Pizza wasn't done how owner wanted, so he told staff to do again. Nice touch 👍

We visited Efem Döner Pizza in Amsterdam and were absolutely thrilled! The food is incredibly delicious, especially the grilled meat dishes. The quality of the meat is particularly noteworthy: the lamb, chops, and minced meat skewers all come from Beyaz Saray Butchers in Amsterdam, a long-established butcher shop known here for over 30 years. You can taste the difference immediately. Whether it's lamb chops, minced meat skewers, or chicken skewers – everything is grilled to perfection and seasoned superbly. The soup was also very tasty and served fresh. On top of that, the service is incredibly friendly and attentive. The owner himself is extremely welcoming and makes you feel right at home. The value for money is excellent: you can get high-quality meat dishes here for under €20, which is truly rare in Amsterdam. Highly recommended – we'll definitely be back!

My favorite place to eat. You don't even have to think twice about whether it's worth eating here. Yet, after one visit, you'll be hooked. This restaurant has been around for over 15 years, so you can easily understand how delicious the food is and how professionally they operate. The owner of this restaurant has a lot of experience, and he's also really sweet and friendly.

Fix your opening hours!!! The sign on the door says open till 11pm, it says open until 10:30pm online. Showed up at 10:10 and was told the restaurant was closed. Really frustrating

It's not a Turkish restaurant, but an Ethiopian/Somali one! Like the "Turkish" rice, which is far from Turkish, Abi. You can definitely taste that it's not like Turkish food, unfortunately. I wouldn't recommend it.

I went here for dinner with my boyfriend for the first time. The food was fresh, hot, and delicious. The staff were friendly.

Super friendly staff, but food is on the expensive side and everything is just not cooked through. It is fine to eat and a good option for a quick bite, but everything could be in the oven or deep fryer for a minute longer 😁 But again, nothing but praise for the staff.

Dropped in yesterday, a cold and grey day for a warming soup. Just delicious, served with nice warm fluffy bread. Perfect!

We found the restaurant by chance. We stay at the best western hotel which is right next door. The location is so cozy, with lovely seats outside. We had a delicious breakfast, eggs with sucuk and a good cup of coffee. Great service and really friendly people. Great recommendation.

Excellent Turkish pizza, unfortunately not much meat.

We stayed at a Best Western; While we were walking around to do shopping in the big supermarkets nearby, we saw Efem Restaurant and jumped in with joy, in the excitement of the first day. We were not wrong. We were welcomed very well. The restaurant is not luxurious or expensive, but has a style that appeals to everyone. Prices are also compatible with Amsterdam in general... In general, there is a certain balance in prices in Amsterdam. Everything you can find in a classic average kebab restaurant is available here too. Soup was our first priority; It was very nice, we stopped by for soup every evening. Pizzas were also prepared well. The conversations about military service and hometown with Mr. Muammer and our other young friend went great, accompanied by hot Turkish tea... It is recommended for those who happen to pass by this way to stop by. Warm-blooded, chatty people... Greetings again...

Dear kızıl kafa, a very wonderful tent. After a beer, enjoy a shawarma, that's possible at Uncle Efem's. As if you are walking in the desert with your big Toyota Land Cruiser with 50. Cal on it and then you come across a tent and there is nothing there, except 1 camel; 2 sheep and a shawarma tent. Falls into the right place at the right time. Thick ooze of sauce on top, disgusting, greasy shawarma and more sauce. Good for bowel movements, cholesterol levels and libido. Testing tonight ;). Until next time kızıl kafa.

We ordered two kebabs. Unfortunately, the kebabs weren't appetizing and the restaurant was a bit overpriced. Overall, there was unfortunately too little selection of salads and sauces. In addition, the meat was not heated from the spit, but from some chests. That made a very dubious impression. Too bad.

Kapsalon and Turkish pizza always 10/10

Super nice and good hair salon. Busy business. Not the cheapest but quality is excellent.

Large selection of dishes and sandwiches in a neat and tidy restaurant. Prices are higher than one could expect, especially the grilled dishes (ca. 18 euros). Sandwiches cost around 10 euros. There is a toilet free of charge for customers.

Dear Emrah, I would like to thank you very much and my master in the kitchen. I would like to thank my master who took care of us even during busy service times and did justice to the food. I would recommend it wholeheartedly to our tourist citizens coming from Turkey.

Vegetarian durum is just plain durum with 2 slices of cheese and then lettuce/tomato and sauce in between. Pretty tasteless and expensive at 5.50

There is a young man working there who is Turkish and around 26-28 when he stands there, he runs away! He honestly can't do anything! Every time he ruins the food he is a nice guy but he just can't do anything makes mistakes every time makes old fries makes Turkish pizza or burnt or too soft every time he ruins the salads he forgets the sauce this guy doesn't make it with love and is just not suitable for the kitchen, let him clean the tables or the toilet, but don't put him in the kitchen, the Somali youth are good! And make me eat with love, that turk has to go!

One of the nicest underrated restaurants in Amsterdam! I loved the man who served me a new dish for free in exchange to my soup which a mosquito jumped into. The dishes there were big and tasty! In addition to the area not having much restaurants, I would definitely come back here!

We were in Amsterdam for a short trip and got two pizzas here in one evening. The pizza is tasty with a fluffy and crispy dough, but could be seasoned a little more strongly. The staff were friendly and spoke to us easily in English. There is also a selection for vegetarians, so everyone should find something here!

I obviously ordered a kapsalon with no regrets. Every bite I took felt like a small sensation accumulating towards euphoria. The döner kebab had amazing flavor. Definitely a place I will drop by often.

Voor de lekkerste linzensoep moet je hier zijn! Ook zijn de Turkse pizza’s heerlijk wij eten hier al heel lang. Hete kip schotel is ook zeker een aanrader en de rijst vandaar is heerlijk! Ook kan je lekker rustig zitten. En de sfeer is aangenaam.

Ottimo Kebab e porzioni abbondanti (soprattutto le salse, non ti fanno fetere con una bustina come tutti gli altri), proprietario super gentile e disponibile, oltre a salvare la vita alla mia amica offrendole una bottiglia d'acqua prima che si strozzasse ci fa persino portare da mangiare da un cliente che era li per ordinare da asporto. TOP!

Muhteşem bir mekan, muhteşem bir servis. Japon kız arkadaşıma Türk yemeklerini tanıtmak adına buraya geldik. Yemekler cidden çok güzeldi. Oradaki çalışan Türk arkadaş cidden çok hoş karşıladı bizi. Kesinlikle yolunuz Amsterdama düşerse uğrayın buraya. Kız arkadaşım özellikle mercimek çorbasını ve lahmacunu çok beğendi. Her anlamda 5 yıldızı hakeden bir mekan👏👏
