This was one of the best breakfasts I had at a restaurant! I highly recommend waiting in queue for this place

We had a good breakfast at Eggs Benaddicted. The food was tasty and the atmosphere nice, but the place was very busy so we had to wait for both service and food even though we got a table quite quickly. The next morning we noticed a long line outside and decided not to return that day. Overall a good experience, but be prepared for crowds.

I am a horeca expert and I did a supervision for this “One of the best breakfast spots” Compact place, but cozy. With it’s own style and interesting concept. Very clean !!! Service staff create a pleasant atmosphere, they passionate about what they do! They have a lot of guests, so waiters buzz like bees 🐝 I respect the way manager treats employees. The menu has a sufficient number of healthy and tasty breakfasts. There are gluten free options. I took matcha latte and special shakshuka. The order was brought quickly. Crispy bread with herbs, fresh cheese and pine nuts perfectly complemented this dish! 🙃 For dessert - I ordered the Gin Tonic Elderflower&Hibiscus Cocktail; it's a masterpiece!!! I definitely recommend Eggs BenAddicted for satisfy your addiction. 😎

Lovely meal, eggs Benedict is a must try

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place. I visited Eggs Benaddicted on my own, and while the staff were friendly and polite, they completely forgot my order. Guests who arrived after me received their breakfasts within 10–15 minutes, finished eating, paid, and left—while I was still waiting. I had to ask twice about my order, only to be told it had been forgotten and was “being prepared now.” In the end, it took at least 45 minutes before I was finally served. Compared to the experience of other tables, this delay was unacceptable. Sadly, I won’t be returning.

In a short stay in Amsterdam we took our breakfast here twice. By far the best breakfast you can get for a very good price. The eggs were perfectly made and the coffee was great. Atmosphere is pleasant and service was perfect and friendly.

All stars for service, food, and ambiance. We received a warm welcome and were seated after a short wait. The menu is ready, and the hot drinks arrive very quickly. When ordering, you can follow the recommendations, for example, avocado with salmon or bacon. The portions are a decent size. Many thanks to the entire team.

The staff was very friendly. I had the roast beef and it was delicious. If you're staying nearby, definitely come here.

Came across this place by accident with a group of friends. Good coffee and tea and different eggs Benedict on the menu. Food was excellent and staff attentive and polite. Quite a busy place because of its popularity. Coming back again next time for sure. Update visited again and was totally ignored by the male members of staff. Dropped a star for service.

Came here twice in just a few days… YEP, it’s THAT good! When you find a spot this delicious in Amsterdam, you don’t overthink it… you just keep coming back. Every dish is a flavour bomb, portions are hearty, and the vibes are spot on. Skip the scrolling, grab your friends and treat yourself to a brunch you’ll still be dreaming about tomorrow.

Fast and friendly service. Incredibly generous portions, and an obscenely large menu of egg options (obviously fitting). Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back!

Good food. Cramped seating, basic service, and MANDATORY TIP. When paying, the waiter, seeing that I was selecting "no tip," pushed the card away and expressed his displeasure. This effectively made a tip mandatory for a quick meal and no special attention to the customer.

Food was delicious. Took a bit long to arrive, it was forgotten. The waitress thought I finished eating it, though it never arrived. She then compensated for the delay by offering a complementary menu item. The canal view of outdoor seating is lovely.

The food was as expected, and the service was excellent! Be aware that prices can be steep; after trying several popular brunches, this one was quite expensive. No need to queue if you arrive midweek at 2 p.m.

There's a short line at the entrance if you don't have a reservation. A little pricey, but delicious, with generous plates and fresh, high-quality ingredients. If you're on a budget, go there with your eyes closed ;) P.S.: The staff is super friendly.

Simply WOW! We were passing by looking for place to have breakfast after very early arrival. The crowed outside was meaning something. Indeed it does - amazing food and very positive, kind and fast service. Prices are more than acceptable for the Quality and portion of the meal you have. Recommand to try at least once when in Amsterdam.

Absolutely spectacular! From the moment you walk in, the service is outstanding—the staff is incredibly attentive, making sure you have everything you need and that every detail is perfect. The food is delicious, beautifully presented, looks absolutely mouthwatering, and the portions are huge! Definitely arrive hungry. The place fills up quickly, and it’s on the cozy side, so if you can, make a reservation—you won’t regret it!

I ordered the sweet pancakes and a mango iced matcha latte. The service was great and quick. Food was good but it nothing special. They do have a great selection of sweet or savoury foods. It is a cute brunch spot.

Overall, great quality and portions for breakfast options. The stuffed croissant with extra duck meat was great but a little small. The English Breakfast was amazing and HUGE!! The strawberry matcha was not good at all. The matcha was poorly mixed and there was no hints of strawberry with the exception of some small chunks. Not worth the cost at all.

Very tasty food, and something I really value: the portion size for the price. It’s generous and definitely worth it. Unfortunately, the tables near the bar are a bit uncomfortable due to the constant noise, glasses clinking, the barista knocking out coffee grounds, which can be a bit distracting

Try the Roast Beef and Eggs and you won't be upset! It can get a little busy in there and thus noisy but it's worth it.

Delicious breakfast/brunch. Amazing benefit, eggs were cooked perfectly. Omelet was also great with a huge portion plus cucumber salad and large piece of focaccia. The freshest orange juice I’ve ever had. Worth the wait.

We had breakfast at Eggs Benaddicted and really enjoyed it! The place was completely full when we arrived, but the service was surprisingly quick and efficient — we didn’t have to wait long at all. We ordered a latte, a lemonade, and two plates of eggs with smoked salmon on toast — everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. We also shared a portion of their pancakes with Nutella, banana, and strawberries, and it was the perfect sweet ending to our meal. The atmosphere was lively but pleasant, and the staff handled the busy morning rush very well. Definitely a great spot for a tasty and satisfying breakfast in Amsterdam.

The French toast was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was relaxed. We had breakfast here as we left our vacation and were very impressed.

Eggselent eggs benedict. Stopped in on a layover in Amsterdam. Had the eggs bene, fresh squeezed oj and a latte. Everything was great. Nice eggs, bread, hollandaise and parma ham for the eggs benedict. Latte was textbook. The oj was fresh and super nice also. Great service and I was in and out in 20 mins. Left me plenty of time to hit up a museum and good energy!

I had the Forest Benaddicted and my girlfriend had the salmon dish. It was great, we have no complaints - very happy. They also serve free tap water!

The restaurant, ideally located, provided excellent service. While the English breakfast was superb, the sausage was somewhat dry and tough.

The customer service is terrible, especially if you’re from out of town. The food is worth it, but we had to wait more than half an hour to be served breakfast.

The food was so good. We ordered ham and spinach egg Benedict. I loved the spinach egg Benedict, I was looking for something vegetarian and became so happy that there were options. There were lots of spinach in the dish. The bread was so good. The only downside was service, the staff weren’t good.

Asked for a takeout matcha as I had to leave to take a train, they told me it was possible. I did not like the taste of the drink but maybe that is my personal taste. However, I then spilled half the drink on myself because the lid did not fit 😭 went up to the counter with my wet matcha pants and asked for a lid that would fit. They apologized and got me a new lid... that also did not fit.... I had to leave my drink on the table and leave as I was not able to bring it with me. Made me sad because I paid €8 (!!!!) for a matcha that was not very good, and for my pants to be stained green lol. Staff was nice but not very helpful or hospitable. I would not return here or recommend it to others. I bet their food is nice tho since they seem to have many good reviews! Just my two cents.

Encouraged by the positive reviews, we decided to have breakfast at EB. We ordered egg's benaddicted and Dutch benaddicted, as well as drinks. The portions were correct in terms of volume in relation to the price, although we had already eaten larger breakfasts for a lower price during our stay in Amsterdam. The ham was very salty and not the best quality, and the meal itself was only lukewarm and warm. It gave the impression that it had been lying on the table for a few minutes waiting to be served. The waiting time also left a lot to be desired, from the moment of placing the order to its completion it took almost 40 minutes. When placing the order we were not informed that it could take that long. What is worse, the groups of customers coming after us received their meal faster. To sum up, for lack of anything better, it could be, unfortunately it was nothing special or memorable.

It was a best breakfast when i never eat. I really like it and higly recommend. Exactly must visit in Amsterdam

I'm giving it 5 stars for the English breakfast, 4 for shakshuka, and five for the atmosphere and coffee. I like shakshuka with cumin, so this one was not my favourite version, but it was still pretty good, and the bread was very tasty. We also loved the sausage, and the potatoes. Definitely recommend.

Very nice breakfast restaurant - although we ordered non-flagship egg dishes it was delicious. Coffee is more sour than bitter. The place is quite narrow but large. Service very efficient and fast.

Very good place for a breakfast that will give you energy. Attractive prices and quite large portions (at least my muesli was). Nice and fast service.

Eggs Benedict was okay. But the matcha latte was soooooo weak compared to what I was used to.. It was almost like just milk. I was grateful to the server for kindly explaining and accepting my request, but the glass I was given had a fishy smell..

we waited 25 mins and it turns out they didn’t register our order. then we got a cheesecake as a compensation that was mid, i would’ve preferred to get a discount instead. then when we paid they charged us extra. super all-over-the-place service, the only 2 stars go for the food coz it was ok and good portions

We ordered a toffee and pecan pancake and a Forest Benaddicted. The pancake is delicious, but it's quite dense and cloying. It's a fairly large place, and we didn't have to wait or wait in line.

Came with my wife and got the shashuka and monty pancake. The shashuka was outta this world and so was the Monty. Also had a mimosa and the manager gave us some coffee shot with Drambuie and foam and espresso that was AMAZING! Came back the following day and did it again it was sooo good!

Full Monty pancakes are so good! We came back a second day on our trip to get them. Shakshuka is also very good. Mimosas were great. Coffee shot made by the manager was delicious. Highly recommend!

We stopped by Eggs Benedicted on a Saturday afternoon around 2pm. Although you can’t make a reservation, we had no trouble getting a table despite it being quite busy. The crowd was mostly young and the atmosphere was lively, with a nice open kitchen at the back and friendly, confident staff. The menu had plenty of options. We went for the duck and mushroom Eggs Benedict (delicious) and the classic version with bacon, which my husband really enjoyed. They were out of croissants, but our daughter had a brioche with jam and butter, which she loved. I had a lemon and ginger tea—simple but very good. What stood out was how welcoming they were to kids. The waitress gave our daughter a colouring book and crayons as soon as we sat down, which is rare to see in Amsterdam and really appreciated. The interior is warm and inviting, and although the toilets are upstairs (like many places here), they were clean and well kept. Prices were fair for the quality, and overall it was a great experience. We’ll definitely be back.

This place was a very nice find. It has a great vibe, it’s very spacious, the service was great and fun, and the food was delicious. We ordered the Italian omelet and the eggs florentin. Not only were they very tasty, but they were also very abundant. It was the best breakfast in the days I spent in Amsterdam, I highly recommend you try it!
