The breakfast was delicious! Only the service is slow

I ordered eggs Benedict with mushrooms and a double shot of espresso, and the price was 21.5 euros. Eggs Benedict restaurant recognized!! First of all, the door was hard to open and close, perhaps temporarily, so I sat inside near the door and felt cold every time the door was opened. The store staff were neither friendly nor unfriendly. Coffee... haha... Don't just get a shot, have a latte or a juice instead haha ​​by all means.. haha I think it's orange juice. Please drink that. There were a lot of people so the bill kept getting pushed back, but other customers just went to the counter and paid it right away, so I paid that way too.

Everything was great!! The staff were Very kind and friendly! We definitely come back again🫶🏻

The breakfast was amazing. I ate it with spinach and eggs with mozzarella cheese added for breakfast. I enjoyed it very much. The staff were friendly and helpful. I recommend it.

The food was great!! I came here on a busy Saturday morning and was seated right away (I was solo). Considering how busy it was, the service was pretty good. I ordered the Forest Benadict (their spelling), and it was amaaaaaaazing! I am not usually a big fan of eggs benedict, but this dish was more than I could have hoped for. It was perfect and I would order it again. I would return to this restaurant if I'm ever back in Amsterdam.

One of the best spots in town—absolutely remarkable! We’ve been coming back for four consecutive days, and every visit has been exceptional. The quality of their products is outstanding. We tried the duck breast Benedict and the roast beef with chimichurri sauce, both of which were phenomenal. The service was excellent, and no reservations are needed—it’s walk-in only.

The eggs, oh my god the eggs. I could be addictwd to this. Portions are big and the price is good. Dont miss this spot ehen you come to amsterdam

Food was very average. The price for an average brunch was extremely expensive. Staff kept ignoring us and walking past our table after trying to flag them down on numerous occasions, we understand if somewhere is busy but when you are welcoming in more tables without serving the ones you have is a bit poor. Extremely rude when we eventually got their attention to order something.

Line is a bit long and the wait for food is pretty long as well. Staff is very kind

Me facturó una empleada llamada Anne. Me cobró 29, 5 euros por la comida sin darme un recibo. Cuando le pedí el recibo ella me dio uno a regañadientes y mi comida fue 28. 5 . Esté atento y revise su factura. Los empleados (o al menos uno llamado Anna) intentarán estafarte

Food was okay, but the place was uncomfortably crowded. No room to breath, tables crammed in and clearly can’t keep up with demand. Wouldn’t recommend queuing longer than 2-3 minutes, there are plenty of other places.

I don’t mind pay a lot for a meal and I don’t mind to leave a tip. What I don’t really stand is to be scammed wile traveling. Today I had a lunch in this place (second time because my food is great). But differently from the other time I was here, I was asked to pay at the register. I was billed by an employee called Anne. She charged me 29,5 euros for the meal without giving me a receipt. When I asked for the receipt she reluctantly gave me one and my meal was 28.5. Be aware and check your bill. The employees (or at least one called Anna) will try to scam you

Attention to detail in the food here was simply fresh and superb. I had the eggs Benedict with avocado, and my husband has the roast beef and eggs with mozzarella. Both were amazing! They accidentally brought out the roast beef and eggs with feta instead of mozzarella, and graciously and quickly brought a new one. By the way, if you go with that dish, get the mozzarella!! They felt bad about getting the order wrong, and gave us a free cheesecake which was clearly freshly made and just delicious! 🤤

I decided to visit this restaurant based on its high ratings but my experience was extremely disappointing. When we arrived we were seated in a corner and politely asked if we could switch to a different table. Our request was denied yet we noticed other customers were allowed to switch tables freely. Additionally, we saw groups of two were seated at larger tables which directly contradicted the reasons given for denying our request When we raised this issue the staff responded in a way that felt dishonest and self-serving. Regardless of the restaurant’s policies, the staff’s attitude was incredibly disappointing. The whole situation left me feeling like we were treated differently. This kind of behavior is unacceptable, and I hope the management takes this feedback seriously.

Absolutely fell in love with the breakfasts here. I thought the Shakshuka Special was really great, but then had the Forest Bennedicted (with smoked duck breast and extra bacon!) and it blew my mind. 🤯 Friendly and attentive staff for breakfast and a nice atmosphere. It can get chilly near the sliding door entrance if somebody forgets to pull it shut, so try to sit away from the door if you can. 🥶

Lovely brunch spot! I had the eggs benaddicted, which was really tasty. Definitely add the mushrooms! My friend had the roast beef and eggs, which was tasty. However, the homemade focaccia that came with it was so hard that it was barely edible.. The homemade cheesecake was amazing. Recommended! The waitress was very sweet and attentive. It’s cozy inside, but there was a draft coming through the glass sliding door, so it was pretty cold inside.

Disfrutamos de un hermoso huevo florentine aquí. Café estaba ocupado a media mañana, pero por suerte me dieron una pequeña mesa, claramente popular y con razón. Excellent food and service. Made sure to come here while passing through Amsterdam en route home! Omelette is the best I’ve tasted and the Bloody Mary cocktail is a favourite.

The food was okay, but the service was bad. We waited outside while 30% of the restaurant was empty, no one came out, so we went in and sat at a table. The food also came out late. While it was okay in taste, it was kind of cold.

Excellent, I find some comments a little harsh. In terms of cuisine, it’s delicious. I had the plain eggs benedict and that was enough. On the other hand, long wait for the kitchen, even if the room was not full.

We ordered English breakfast and eggs benedicted. Latte and an americano. Even though it was Saturday and crowded (we waited in line outside), the service was fast. The service staff were also friendly. The food was delicious too. I would like to come again.

Visited early in the morning today for a breakfast with my family. One of the best brunch/breakfast places I have been. The food, the service, the music all excellent. Baby chairs available too.

The restaurant is attractively decorated and the staff is very friendly and relaxed. The food is incredibly tasty, even if you have to wait a little longer for it. The open kitchen is exciting and you can see how everything is freshly prepared on site. The prices are okay for Amsterdam.

After seeing this place all over social media, we had to try this place when we came. We had the eggs benaddicted and the eggs florentine (Gluten Free). The eggs benaddicted was phenomenal. The brioche bread was so moist and delicious. The eggs were perfectly poached. The hollandaise sauce was unreal. The eggs florentine was also amazing. The gluten free bread was one of the best breads I’ve had in a long time. The spinach was delicious. We also had orange juice and an iced vanilla latte. The service was great. You can see them cooking in the kitchen. Very hard workers. 100% recommend.

We were looking for a breakfast place close to our hotel and we came across this place. Everything was very successful, the people who run it are very sweet and chatty people. An excellent place where you get a lot of value for your money, right next to the canal 🤩

Breakfast was delicious, portions were generous. Both had the Forest Benaddicted. Owner/waiter that served us was welcoming. Very busy and tightly spaced but food arrived in good timing.

The food was delicious and the toilets are clean. It was just a little crowded. It didn't bother us much, but if you want to have breakfast in peace, this might not be the right place.

I cannot recommend this restaurant due to an unpleasant experience that left me feeling unwelcome. As someone with a gluten allergy, I checked the menu before entering and saw there were no gluten-free options. To enjoy my meal safely, I brought my own gluten-free bread and ordered an omelette, specifically asking the server to bring my food without bread, which he agreed to. However, the supervisor approached me in a manner that felt uncomfortable and public, told me I wasn’t allowed to eat my own bread. This happened not once, but twice, leaving me feeling singled out and embarrassed. This lack of understanding and hospitality was disappointing and made my visit uncomfortable.

Go here if you're looking for a REAL breakfast. You won't regret it

I’m eggstremely fond of both puns and Eggs Benedict so trying this place was a no brainer. Can’t fault the poached eggs, brioche, cured ham, or sauce. Finally found a decent Eggs Benedict in Amsterdam after 6 years! My only advice is don’t salt your eggs as the cured ham gives the saltiness - black pepper though. Took 20 mins to get a table at peak time, no queue when we left.

The food was as expected, very good! But the rudeness and poor treatment as foreigners was very obvious and unnecessary from the start. We were nice and did nothing except speak English. They also could have also told us to pay at the bar, instead of waiting for a check for longer than necessary. We come to Amsterdam often and we won't go back. There are plenty of other good options for good food and good service.

Eggs Benaddicted was a really pleasant surprise. The food and the ambience were outstanding. The service was a little lacking but that was probably because the place was so packed. Prices are reasonable and reservation probably necessary since we got lucky and got spare seats in the back. Recommend it strongly!!
