Cozy brunch place with Taiwanese inspired dishes. The atmosphere is very cozy. The vegetarian soy duck pancake roll is very special and yummy. Really love the place!

I m so sad to hear this place is temp closed - the food was amazing and I loved chatting with the friendly owner - i stayed in Amsterdam for a whole month and only met 2 actual friendly people and he was one of them. I hope they open again soon!

I've probably tried everything on the menu and love taking new friends here to try it out. Food is always delicious and comforting. Service is sometimes slow because they're often busy and understaffed, but they are always very friendly and accommodating. So I try to manage expectationa by coming on a day where I have time to enjoy it :)

Delicious Taiwanese pancake with chicken. The mustard sauce and pickle makes it very western. Next time I'll order something different to try. The place is nicely decorated with all kinds of sloths.

Everything was perfect, from the food to the decorations every detail was taken into account to make you feel an Asian experience in the middle of Ámsterdam 😊

We come here every weekend — the pancakes are THAT GOOD. My absolute favorite is miso mushroom pancake (don’t forget to add omelette and avocado!). Edamame covered in 5-spice make a delicious snack, and Thaiwanese chicken bites are *chefs kiss*. The place is very cosy too, sloths decorations and plushies are adorable. And the staff is great, it’s always lovely to see the team.

The food here was amazing! But the service was pretty slow and confusing. We already reserved a table but when we arrived, we had to wait a while as all the tables were taken. We got seated at a 2-person table (though we had reserved for 3) so we were squashed, and when tables next to us wanted to leave we all had to move or risk them knocking into our drinks. We waited a while to order until we finally flagged a server, who then told us we had to order at the counter. They could have said this when they sat us down. Other than that, the food itself was really delicious. We had the Taiwanese satisfaction mixed platter with chicken schnitzel, bites, etc, the fried chicken pancake roll, and the Formosa pancake with corn, ham & cheese. We also ordered hot and cold bubble teas, all of which were amazing. They offer to adjust the sugar amount, which I personally always prefer to reduce. I'd come back to try more dishes, but I think they should communicate better with the customers and maybe step up the service a bit. The sloth-themed decorations are cute!

Coffee is really good here. All 5 stars are for the coffee :D I ordered the iced cappuccino. Also to comment on the food - the wraps are really good. Specially because of the crepe they use, it's really soft. I ordered the mushroom one and my friend ordered a meat based. When compared, the mushroom one was better. Also the wrap was quite big! Good portions.

The price/performance ratio was very good. The staff was friendly and the food was very tasty. I can only recommend it.

We really enjoyed our time at Slowth. The service is great, the staff is very friendly and efficient, and the food is unique, creative and really tasty! We had the soy duck wrap and the formosa pancake with a side of garlic chicken and sweet potato fries - all were really good! It's a small thing, but it's the first time I've had a home made ice tea that was not too sweet, just perfect! We'll definitely be back to try everything else on the menu.

such a lovely small taiwanese restaurant!! their burgers are quite amazing, especially the duck one that i ordered. it’s just one of these hidden places that you wanna go to! too bad that it’s a little bit far for me, other wise i would stop by more often

Food is tasty, but 4 stars for the price. It is on the higher side for what they serve. I do recommend trying their bubble tea as well. Service was quick when I visited. The restaurant has a nice homely atmosphere

Not much of a traditional 'brunch ' place. I was not mad about the place... the soy duck salad was rather underwhelming... with no noteworthy distinction... did not really expect yet more avocado being that I was told it was Taiwanese 😆

Chicken bites are better than the karaage. I think the bubble tea is getting over priced but it's good.

Delicious pancake rolls, also very nice ice tea that's just right in terms of sweetness
