Answer: People to be avoided at all costs. Quick advice: If you take someone to this place and they don't rave about the food–ditch 'em. I don't care if you are dating, married, or blood related. It's a sign for you to 🏃. Now, the decor is very "we got these chairs at the middle school's going out of business sale." You have been told, so I don't need to hear about it in any reviews. It's not fancy, it's chill with great food. Stop reading and book a reservation already.

Best wine bar in Amsterdam! The vibe is very chill and cosy, making it perfect for both a first date, a reacquaintance with an old friend, or after work drinks to secure that promotion. Huge variety of wines, with interesting origins and stories. The people working there are very sweet and knowledgeable, ask for Julia! She was a delight to have at our table.

We had a very positive experience at Fabus. We had not tried Amber natural wines before, but the waitress introduced them to us, was very knowledgeable and helped us make our selection. There was a slight mix up with our food order which meat it was delayed, so we were super hungry - but when the food arrived, six different sharing plates, the food was super delicious with lovely flavour combinations - we loved them all especially the roasted cauliflower and molasses glazed leeks with butter bean puree - yum yum yum !

My girlfriend and I stopped by Fabus today, and it was an amazing experience! The wine selection was fantastic, perfectly complementing the molasses-glazed leeks, garlic confit labneh with focaccia, and tender pulled beef. Every dish was packed with flavor and beautifully presented. The cozy atmosphere and warm hospitality made it a great place to spend an evening. Highly recommend for anyone looking for great food, unique selection of wines, and a welcoming vibe!

Wonderful Levantine food and great wine selection. The concept is sharing plates, with some smaller “starters” and then larger “mains” — you can easily do what works for your company. We found the staff very helpful in finding a wine we liked, sampling 4 different ones before selecting our bottle of choice for the evening. I’ve been more than once, and in terms of food, can say that the cauliflower is a must.

Great food, excellent service, good wine list, lovely to see some hidden gems. Space is very welcoming, like an inviting living room and the music is Not too loud, it’s perfect for gezellig conversation/good times.

This used to be my favourite wine bar … consistently good wine, food and service. I am sad to say service quality has decreased. The bar would benefit from training staff on being customer oriented.

What an amazing experience! Such a chill atmosphere that is warm, welcoming and - frankly - works seamlessly. The food is stunning, full of flavour yet not overwhelmingly loaded. Far too much wine was consumed but it was delicious so we were not to blame. One important point is that although the restaurant is fairly small, the soundproofing has been well designed and conversations remain private and muted. Thank you, ladies, for a great night! I will definitely be back ;)

I recently placed an order through Uber Eats and received two wines. Unfortunately, I encountered some issues with both bottles. The first wine, a L’ayentot - Cherouche 2019, was corked and undrinkable. The second wine was supposed to be a Domaine Tatsis - Malagouzia 2020, but I was instead given a Domaine Tatsis - Malagouzia 2023. These issues have led to a significant disappointment with my order.

We had a lovely time at Fabus! We had the roasted cauliflower and the butternut squash dip( which were both excellent) and some Serbian wine. Definitely ask for recommendations for wine pairings, the staff made great suggestions and let us try different wines. The place has a very friendly, cosy atmosphere. We’ll definitely come back!!

We had a wonderful experience at Fabus 🍷 Tried a couple of natural wines between us and found a new favourite! The food was excellent, we loved the small plates set up and especially liked the garlic labneh and fried chicken! Final night in Amsterdam and genuinely couldn’t have picked a better place to have an extra special meal. Friendly and lovely staff, quirky but tasteful decor along with great music at a good volume and cosy lighting. Food and wine were both phenomenal, will definitely be returning for future trips.

Hidden gem 💎 This wine bar just serves natural wines and they’re collection is very well selected We had a Serbian light wine that paired very well with the labneh and the other finger food we ordered. Super friendly staff To come back several times!

Such a lovely wine bar! Decor, music, service, wine selection, and food were all incredible. Food-wise we only had the haloumi sticks but wanted to try to red pepper mutabbal and harissa fried chicken. All three red wines we tried were delicious. Thanks for a great night.

The service was excellent, wine was great and a great atmosphere the food was underwhelming. Labneh was more like Alioli the halloumi didn't pass the crispy test and where was the za'atar? My Teta would have been disappointed.
