Had a really nice evening at Vindict! Good, reasonably priced wines. Delicious dishes, nice ambiance.

Lovely place to sit, the cuisine and selection are unparalleled. A must-go for anyone who loves special wines!

We had such an amazing evening at Vindict! We ended up staying for almost 7 hours without getting bored for a single moment. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the staff are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, and they take the time to help you find a wine you’ll love. There’s a great selection of wines, the food is delicious, and you genuinely feel welcome from the moment you walk in. A fantastic place to relax, enjoy great wine, and spend an evening with friends. Highly recommend!

I was served warm white wine and asked for it to be changed. The same glass was put in the freezer(!) and came back wet, dripping, and covered in fingerprints. When I pointed out how dirty it was, the staff member wiped the bottom and handed it straight back to me. I had to ask someone else for a clean glass, and was met with attitude and rudeness even then. At the end, the staff were openly debating the bill amongst themselves. No itemised receipt ,just a single number on a piece of paper. No way to know what I was actually charged for.Probably I was overcharged. Disappointing

This is everything a wine lover needs. What a fantastic place. I enjoyed the food, the wine (naturally), and the staff. We had a great conversation about the SDEN and WSET and concluded it with a blind tasting (where I was completely wrong, so it's time for a refresher course!). High praise, we will be back soon!

Last Thursday, we made a reservation at Wijnbar Vindict for six people, and it was a resounding success. We sat at a very cozy table where we chatted for hours. The service was super fun, cheerful, and incredibly enthusiastic all evening, creating a very pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. The wine list is beautiful, and the wines we drank were delicious, without exception. Additionally, we chose various dishes to share, and everything tasted absolutely fantastic. A solid 5 stars; we would love to come back here again!

The best wine bar in NL. The staff is very knowledgeable and love to share their insights while allowing you to experiment with different flavors. Most importantly, they always meet where you are at. Atmospheric wine bar with surprisingly good food — even despite a shared-dining concept, which can be disappointing in many restaurants. The service was friendly, but unfortunately, what I found disappointing was that the staff seemed rushed and did not take enough time to explain a bottle of wine or provide appropriate context. This is surely what I would come to a wine bar for, rather than a regular bar or restaurant.

Had a wonderful evening with a group of colleagues. We went in pairs to select a wine in the shop next door, following a task we had been given in advance. We were given the bottle on the table with a sleeve so that we couldn't see whose bottle it was. Drank some very tasty wines! The food was also very good. I enjoyed it. Nice atmosphere, good staff and service. I would love to come back.

What a gem in the neighborhood! Great food and bites, cozy atmosphere, and most importantly delicious wine. The wine list was endless and each wine had detailed descriptions (which were really accurate). You can try so many wines per glass, I had three different wines last night. Can’t wait to be back!

In my opinion, the best wine bar in the Netherlands. Always a surprising, extensive selection of wines by the glass that changes regularly. The food is fantastic and, just like the wines, very reasonably priced. An added bonus: on Wednesdays between 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM, you can choose a bottle from the shop with just €10 corkage fee! And then there's the atmosphere... you'll feel like you're in a Parisian bistro: stylish, warm, and cozy. I'm a huge fan🍷 They also have great tastings! And I took my SDEN 2&3 classes here ;-)

This wine bar is top notch. After a day of travel chaos, I needed a decent glass of wine. I got more than that; Mark and the team are passionate and know what they are talking about. They have a coravin list and all you need to do is ask for a recommendation and you’ll be taken care of very well. A real pleasure to visit Wijnbar Vindict!

Food was great. Service was outstanding. Atmosphere was perfect. That ‘I’m right where I belong’ kinda feeling. Ask for wine pairing. It was so good and delightful to speak with Jan Jaap, who brought the ideal complement to the yummy eats.

This is one of those rare places where everything seems to work. They have an absolute amazing selection of wine. Well priced too. Service is great, all waiters are friendly and knowledgeable and can offer good advice on wine and food. Food is wonderful too and the ambience and vibe in the place is very positive and uplifting. Recommended place in Noord, we're returning customers ever since they opened.

This may be called a "Bar," but it feels like a full-fledged restaurant in every way. We sat at the bar and had a wonderful experience. The menu is accessible yet surprising, dishes perfectly prepared, and truly something for everyone. The wine selection is also excellent. We will definitely be back—see you soon! Ambience: why 4 stars and not 5 (the lighting could have been a bit more pleasant in the evening, but after asking, it was duly dimmed).

Super fun place with exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable service. A real asset to Noord! I've been here a few times now, and every visit is a treat. Whether you just come for a drink or a delicious meal, you always leave happy after a pleasant evening.

We were welcomed into the restaurant after booking online. After about two minutes, the waiter arrived and asked us first for water, and then if we wanted suggestions on the wine. We replied, very politely, that we would choose ourselves, but this was probably misinterpreted, because from that moment on, the situation became disastrous. After choosing our wine, we were brought two glasses (there was certainly a misunderstanding here, as we had intended to take the bottle), but, once we pointed this out to the waiter, he gave us a bottle that had clearly already been used (at least two glasses were missing in addition to the ones he had already poured for us). From there, a series of behaviors bordering on rudeness ensued: no one came to ask us for anything to eat, we had to intercept the waiter the first time to order, while the second time, after repeatedly asking if we could order, he decided to bring us the menus. After another ten minutes, he came over and took our menus away from us, handing them to the table next to ours (without asking if we wanted to order anything else). The final insult: we ordered two more glasses of wine (hoping they'd realize they'd given us a bottle that was clearly open), but they didn't; we were charged a whopping €19.50 for the two glasses (on top of the €42.50 bottle) - see the receipt below. A real shame, because both the place itself and the food were good, but the service in this case completely ruined the experience.

What a gem! Walked in with a party of four during Sail 2025. Friends live around corner. Fortunately they had a spare table. Great food, delish wine and superb service! Sorry we didn't take any pictures, too busy enjoying ourselves! We'll be back!

Nice place, but a bit too fancy for my taste. What do you mean you don't serve the seats outside? Food was tasty yet overpriced. I guess it was not a good fit for me. Probably won't be back.

A really nice place! The food is excellent and the menu has a nice variety. The wines are very reasonably priced and have a wide variety. Definitely worth it!

Maxime is such a knowledgeable person and so dedicated to her job! She's making such a difference in the service and also how she takes her time to explain the wines, would definitely come back here, hope to see her again!

There are many wine bars in Amsterdam, but not many with a truly good selection. Vindict is one of the better ones! Interesting wines and good food, all at a reasonable price. The service is friendly and knowledgeable. Vindict is worth a trip to Amsterdam-Noord.

We live just around and normally have an amazing time here. Unfortunately a single bad experience can change your entire view. In summer we sat down on the terrace and within a couple seconds the server came over and without chatting to us he put a reserved sign on the table and stared at us implying we needed to move. Absolutely NOT how you treat your guests.

Oh people, what a wonderful place this is! Friendly and hospitable, delicious wines, many by the glass, and beautiful food. Everything with enthusiasm, love, care, attention and dedication. And now also a very beautiful terrace with tables made of Dutch acacia wood!

Our visit last Friday evening was again unforgettable. Vindict Wine Bar offers an excellent culinary experience with carefully prepared dishes and an impressive wine selection. The warm ambiance and expert sommelier make it an unforgettable destination for lovers of good food and special wines. Vindict combines gastronomy, craftsmanship and ambiance at a high level. An absolute must for anyone who enjoys good food and fantastic wines. We look forward to returning again soon.

We went for the wine desgustation: 21€ for 3 glasses. Was great! And the waiter really took the time to describe each wine in details. I'll go again!

We had a perfect lunch on the terrace. Incredible wine choice, the guys know exactly what to recommend & the bites are delicious (10/10) we had the Forel Broodje, mushroom toast and chicken liver moose toast - all home made & all SO GOOD! Chill vibes & great food/wine!

We were here recently for a Marcoult champagne dinner. Not only was everything very tasty, but we were also very well taken care of. I have some food intolerances and the service dealt with this very well. I received a (very tasty) adapted dessert and they talked to me about the options just before dinner. We had a wonderful and enjoyable evening and will definitely come back again.

I am a very happy returning customer. Every time I visit, whether it is with my spouse or friends, the staff makes it special. The knowledge and expertise is extraordinary. So much so that I hardly ever pick something out myself, I just say "surprise me", and they always do! (and that is coming from a seasoned burgundy drinker). The food is also matched in excellence. I would recommend a visit to everyone!

The food and wine were delicious! The staff is quite attentive to the guests which was a good benefit. It could get crowded but that is a downside of a popular place:) Would come again!

Wow! What a nice wine bar, it had been on my list to visit for a while. Because it was quieter last weekend and not fully booked, we were able to go there last minute, and it was even better than expected! The Californian wine flight was very pleasant and well priced for the good quality wine.

There are no superlatives for this wine bar. We were with a group of wine students and had indicated in advance that we would like to practice blind tasting. Say no more! Jan-Jaap only had to say half a word and spent the entire evening letting us taste the most beautiful wines and explaining why we were in the right direction, or (as was often the case) not at all. The passion for the wines shines through and the level of knowledge is unparalleled. We also tried almost their entire dinner menu (to call them "snacks" would not do justice to the fantastic food) and were pampered from the beginning to the end of the evening. An asset to Noord and highly recommended. We will definitely come back!

Good wines, tasty bites and friendly staff. It was very busy on a friday which is a good sign. We had champagne twice, some oysters, croquetas, bread with mushrooms, steak tartare and shrimps. Cheque was around 100 euro for 2. The place has a good vibe. It's about a 10 minute walk from the buiksloterweg ferry. They have special tastings and a wineshop right next to it. Will come here again. Good for couples.

I've been here multiple times for business meetings and on my own. The staff is nothing but fantastic at every interaction. I always told them that I would come back until they give me a bad wine recommendation - it did not happen yet :) The food is mostly bar food, but a little bit more upscale, that goes well with wine. The idea is that you would be able to taste by the glass from the 50 or so bottles that are always available, and hopefully buy some from the store next door. In all fairness, they were quite open to even open bottles from the store that were not in the restaurant yet. All around this is an amazing restaurant, an amazing team and very well executed business idea. Very well done guys, and I'm looking forward to coming back one day. Strongly recommend it, and it's actually worth travelling across AMS to come to this place.

Ga hier alsjeblieft niet heen! Heerlijke wijnen , heel veel per glas, met goede, verzorgde, smaakvolle gerechtjes erbij. Leuke bediening met gezellige babbel. Je kunt hier echt beter NIET heen gaan. Anders wordt het veel te populair!

Zeer goede wijnkaart per glas (Assyrtiko en Louis Seabra aan te raden), ook erg lekker gegeten (Chioggia biet, Hollandse garnalen, aubergine)

Omdat het nog rustig was werd ons spontaan aangeboden om een proeverij samen te stellen. Heerlijke verrassende wijnen, gezellige en oprecht gastvrije service. Ook voor de BOB werd wat lekkers samengesteld. Ook echt een aanrader als je iets te vieren hebt bijv.

Ambiance is 100% the highlight of this place: cozy and well-thought through, the staff is also lovely and easy to make conversation with! Definitely would recommend and would go back.
