Fat Phill’s Amstelstation in Frankendael

The burger I had was of excellent quality. The meat was good and the flavor combination was generally correct. The prices are higher than in a McDonald's or the like, but the higher quality makes it definitely worth more to eat here.

Received half of my order from a lady with a headscarf. Food is reasonable, don't expect miracles, you will find a better Philly cheese steak at Popov sandwich.

Ordered a truffle burger for €13.50. Wasn't bad, but really below par for the price you pay. The sandwich was good. I didn't like the meat. Lots of sauce, maybe too much sauce. I find it really disappointing. I'd rather go to McDonald's next time. Better quality (except the bun) and the price better too.

What a masterclass, incredible food, incredible music, incredible service. I cried over this nugget. The milkshake is delicious. I'm still crying. Tune in, it’s crazy.

We had dinner here with my family and it was delicious! The lady who works here gave us and my son in a wheelchair top service! It is a cozy tent, you can sit both inside and outside.

Food was cold and didn't taste good. Tables were also very dirty and were only cleaned after a certain amount of time. Wasn't a great experience.

The restaurant was good and easy to reach by public transport. It has indoor and outdoor seating. For me the meat burger was really delicious, but for the chicken burger I give it a 6/10. I recommend trying the restaurant, and I will definitely come back for the meat burger.

very unorganized. my whole table got their food already, while ive been waiting for 45 minutes. it was annoying to watch them eat while i was starving + that they had to wait while i eat.

Good place for a simple meal. The restaurant is not big, not so many seats. The food is ok. I really liked chicken wings! Not sure why, but we had to wait for our order for half an hour or so. We were not in a hurry so that was ok.

We had an incredibly disappointing experience at Fat Phills location Amstelstation during lunch. We were unnecessarily disturbed several times by the staff, who claimed we were speaking too loudly. This was definitely not the case, especially considering the restaurant was virtually empty. The manager justified this by saying she has ADHD and couldn't work if customers were "too loud". This was not only inappropriate but also very uncomfortable for us as guests. To make matters worse, the music was even turned up louder to apparently annoy us. This kind of treatment is unacceptable and not hospitable at all. We will certainly not return here and advise everyone not to eat here.

Received this from my wife, normally she always gets me a shake, you pay something for it, but she does it because I like it so much... it has chocolate in it, it is nicely prepared and tasty... However, this is of course not a style to deliver for that kind of money... this is not a Phill Shake at all!!! So my wife asks for her money back and gets a snarling employee who gives her her money back in 50 cents with a dirty grin on her face... it's just so bad to puke! SUPER BAD SERVICE AND NEVER GOING HERE AGAIN!! I will also advise everyone I know against Fat Phills, poor service from employees who just mess around and don't care about customer loyalty, the shakes are not what they used to be... BAH 🫤

Absolutely fantastic! This fast-food restaurant has taken the classic combo of loaded fries and hamburgers to a whole new level. The only downside is that it’s very pricy.

In the end we went along with the hype and decided to go to Fat Phills, but it was unbelievable how disappointing it was. I went to dinner with 2 friends, firstly the burgers were hard to eat (which you would expect for the enormous prices). The meat tasted strange and chemical and the chicken teryiaki wings cost 9 euros but tasted like you would get them at the local snack bar with a deep fryer that contains an incredible amount of fat. All in all, an adventure to quickly forget and we will not return here.

Double cheeseburger. The bread, the cheese-sauce, the meat, the simple lettuce and a small piece of tomato. Everything was a disappointment. Waste of my money.

Terrible experience, flushing money down the drain. The order machine said they ran out of Philly cheese steak, only to serve it to the next customers 🤓 Personal was screaming against each other, took 30 mins for my order. Food wasn’t good either. My husband and I waited 45 minutes for an order. When we asked why it took so long, we were told: “Do you want me to explain you our policy or do you want the citizen?” So rude!!! “Do you want the burger OR not? Later received an apology from this gentleman wearing FP hat for his response. Still, we immediately got up and asked for our money back. This was our first time at Fat Phil's, unfortunately. Never again for us. Definitely not recommended. The problem was not that we had to wait a long time, but the rude attitude of this gentleman.

The food was tasty and filling, and the atmosphere was great with the music. It was very easy to order with the screen where you can also adjust your wishes per order. Top!

There is a long wait before you get your food but when it first arrives its good food. Not recommended for a short lunch break.

Fat Phill's is really tasty, but so overpriced 6 euros for a portion of fries, 7 euros for 4 chicken tenders and 10 euros for 1 burger🤡. I really don't think that's normal. Service is not really fast either, I waited over 20 minutes for my order. At a station you really need to be able to make food faster.

First of all I ordered a latte macchiato and then I got what looks like a shot. So I asked the person by the counter If they mixed up my order by mistake and they told me no this is our serving for a macchiato. Then secondly I ordered a chicken mac and cheese expecting the photo they used as reference and instead got served the second photo?!

Als ik het 0 sterren kon geven had ik dat gedaan. Meneer was heel onbeschoft begon met schreeuwen tegen ons, omdat alleen 1 persoon wat had gehaald. Meneer zei dat we allemaal wat moesten halen anders mochten we niet blijven. Ik vind dat heel apart, meneer ging met ons in discussie en hij verlaagde zich naar de niveau van mijn kleine zusje. Deze manager moet ontslagen worden heel frappant dit.

A bit cold inside, because no blowers above the doors. The burgers are seriously good and tasty. Highly recommended. Ridiculously expensive for a few burgers, but so is Burger King and Mac these days. Super friendly people at Fat Phill's. Nowadays you no longer get customer friendliness at Mac and Burger King, so maybe that justifies a price difference.

Mega vriendelijk personeel! Had een aanvaring met een vervelende klant, zij besluit mij te slaan en het personeel kwam heel lief voor mij op. Ik mocht nog even in het gesloten restaurant zitten en kreeg nog wat te drinken. Eten is gewoon burger king eten, maar ben deze lieve mensen heel dankbaar !

If you are craving some American finger food, this place is an option. They have quite a big menu of burgers, fries, chicken, and other side dishes. However, the quality has reduced since they opened! Here are my recommendations: 1. The Narshville chicken burger with the spicy sauce, contrasted with the ranch sauce is delicious. The chicken itself is tender and juicy, while the pickles are fresh and crunchy. 2. The sweet potato fries are delicious and the truffle sauce adds so much to the flavor. 3. The mozzarella cheese sticks are fried to perfection and the inside has good quality cheese that pulls with every bite you take. This is the only place that I’ve seen in Amsterdam that sells them. Nevertheless, this place has some downsides to them. First, the place is located next to the Amstel station which means it’s a small restaurant with not so much space for tables. Thus, there might be a possibility that there are no available tables. Second, the kitchen sometimes over fries the food which results in a burnt taste. However, if you request to be made again, they will do it again with a good attitude. As a final point, I would not recommend the milkshakes as it is somewhat expensive and it is mostly made filled with foam, so there is not much quantity.

Food was good. Nothing outstanding but nothing bad to say. For what you get, the pricing is a bit steep but i guess it’s a common occurrence in the city of Amsterdam. Service was good but food came out a bit slow for a sandwich.

Ridiculous service, mediocre burger. The butcher behind central station is much better. Service is really a disaster. I had an error on the screen and I wanted to make some adjustments, but the person at the cash register said that is not possible. I asked, is my order already prepared? No he said. I asked why, I did a mistake on the screen, I want to change something. "That's not possible, we have too many orders." Really ridiculous. Quality is plush, but the butcher is certainly much better. This is more for the tourists

Texas sandwich with pastrami of which there was very little on it. Ribeye sandwich wasn't great either. Expensive milkshake without flavour. Too bad l.

Upon arrival I received my order, I happened to check and the cheese fries were missing, I immediately said and waited until it was made, ordered 2 portions of hot wing, which was bad, completely burnt, discovered this when I arrived home. & the macaroni was also Not what it was supposed to be, so all in all, I paid for nothing. I have eaten this before at their place and it was just great and good, that was the reason to get another one, but now major disappointments are gone and money is gone.

Burger with fries was delicious! Your food is easy to order via a screen and was there within 20 minutes. Furthermore, the tent looks nice and modern rap and hip hop is played, which is a lot more fun than the normal accessible music.

Great food, decent service, inappropriate music. The food is really top notch for a smash burger joint. I particularly enjoy the mac and cheese as a side. The employees are friendly and helpful. The main issue here is the music they play. If you like hearing foul language constantly as you are eating then this place is perfect for you. I’ve been here 3 times now and the music is always the same. I know the music alone has prevented some people I know from coming here, so maybe tone it down a little. This is a restaurant not a club on the dodgy end of town.

De Nashville burger was slecht. De kip was waarschijnlijk overgevroren want het was wel gaar maar had hard stukker ertussen. De friet was gewoon diepvries. Maar de tamale burger heeft et echt goed gemaakt. Ben al meerdere keren terug gekomen voor deze burger.

Literally the best burger place in Amsterdam. Sitting right now on a nice comfy couch, a big cheesy burger and loaded fries in my belly, sipping on a Pistachio Milkshake...life is good at Fat Phill's. Will definitely come back and bring an army along. The most delicious, mouth watering burger I had. And the souces, my goodness, they are soooooooo good. 🤤

Het restaurant was heel rommelig, het personeel focuste zich meer op het bereiden van het eten. Dit is jammer, want het restaurant heeft een mooie, luxe uitstraling en een opgeruimd restaurant is meer uitnodigend voor de gast. Zij waren maar met zijn twee, maar deden hun best om iedereen te voorzien. Meer dan dat kunnen ze ook niet. Wij hebben ongeveer 45 minuten gewacht op ons eten, het was wel echt heel lekker. Lekkere burgers, lekkere chicken wings en de kaassaus was ook lekker. De presentatie van de wings had naar mijn idee wel beter gekund (sesamzaadjes, wat bosuitjes erop). Daarnaast vonden we de wings ook aan de prijzige kant, op de afbeelding zie je meer wings dan dat je daadwerkelijk krijgt. Het lekkere eten in combinatie met goed gezelschap maakte het wachten waard. Tip: de muziek staat net iets te hard, waardoor ik dit soms als storend ervaarde.

ik heb een bestelling geplaatst maar inconpleet gekregen ik miste een broodje en alles was nat en koud. Heel smerig en dat voor 35 euro terwijl t met de fiets 7 min afstand is naar mn huis in en in triest.

bij balie 1 bestellen je krijgt een bon met nummer en via monitor zie je wanneer je order klaar is. Er waren behoorlijk wat medewerkers in mijn beleving meer medewerkers dan klanten toch moesten wij erg lang wachten op 2 broodjes fish filet en milkshake. De fish fillet droop van het frituurvet en ik heb hier de hele avond en nacht last van gehad
