Mario, man who is inviting the guests from outside is friendly and respectful. Meat in the burgers is fresh and thick. Food overall is simple, but good. Old-fashioned music in the restaurant is good.

Cozy little burger joint. Nice friendly staff. I ordered a Caesar salad, the portion was quite large and the salad was delicious. The prices are not too high.

WARNING FOOD POISONING!! Unfortunately any positive aspect of dining here has been overshadowed by the fact that my partner got food poisoning- a day before we flew home! He had the burger meal with calamari and I had a chicken burger. The following morning we were up early for the flight and he was grey - threw up multiple times and then endured a 9 hour journey home whilst completely suffering. Please do not eat here!!!

La comida era pobre y también los asientos, estábamos sentados justo al lado de otra pareja que acaba de mover la mesa un poco más. Tenía espagueti boloñesa allí como más pasta que picada. ¡Mi novio tenía pescado y patatas fritas, las patatas fritas se quemaban principalmente y el pescado era tan duro que un cuchillo de carne no lo atravesaría! Pedí cerveza grande, pero solo conseguí medio vaso, el resto fue de segunda mano. En el acercamiento el personal parece muy agradable, pero cuando dices algo que no les gusta vienen muy groseros y arrogantes. Muchos otros lugares de comida agradable.

on commande. au lieu de nous dire que ce n’est pas dispo, ce n’est que lorsqu’on fait remarquer qu’il n’y a pas d’avocat dans le burger qu’on nous dit qu’il n’y avait effectivement pas d’avocat : c’est mieux de le savoir avant plutôt que de nous apporter n’importe quoi et nous prendre pour des truffes (des touristes) : on ne nous l’avait jamais faite, celle-là ! sinon, la suite ne va pas s’arranger : la viande n’est pas excellente et les frites ne sont pas bonnes. tout est très graillonneux. on a digéré ça toute la journée… et c’est au même tarif (voire plus cher) que des bons burgers ! on ne change pas une équipe qui gagne… c’est dommage, car l’emplacement est super, avec la terrasse chauffée qui donne sur la place et son marché.

First of all it took way too long to order and get the food. Then we showed that the table was broken and the owner didnt even care. Our drinks we're disgusting, the Fanta wasnt even Fanta and Cola was even worse. The food wasnt good at all and we waited 30 minutes to get this disgusting food. We payed 45€ for a 6 small Chicken Wings with cheap chilli souce and for a really bad salmon sandwich. It smelled like smoke and weed all the time and the owner didnt even care.

We ate inside so as not to be cold but they leave the door open all the time. Burger cooking not respected. Salad especially seasoned with oil. Very long service 45 minutes between order and the moment we were served

This place has the best pasta carbonara in Europe. I fly from the US only to eat their pasta.

Fries not cooked, for the pasta 4 cheeses would have been more like cream with a little extra cheese which was also paid for, the steak had no taste, not to mention too much of the mood of the waiters who press to get the order, and who take 3 years to bring the bill. In addition, the high price for poor quality, I strongly advise against it.

Restaurant au première abord sympa mais très déçu du repas qui est vraiment pas ouff autant le faire soi même ça sera meilleur. Le serveur qui ce fout littéralement de notre gueule plusieurs fois, reste derrière toi pendant tout le repas vraiment pas agréable et fait payer des suppléments en plus sans l’énoncer (parmesan pour les pâtes)

Food was not as good as one would expect for the money paid. Cheese used in the burger was processed cheese. The Patty was overcooked, but I'll still say ok. Fries were not the best and did not have salt. Music is pretty loud, so you cannot talk.

The cafe is in a good position, but one waiter is very unprofessional, rude and too aggressive. The coffee is not good enough, the toilet could be cleaner, the music is also too loud. All in all, I recommend that you look for another cafe in the area, there are much better ones in my opinion.

Mario and his co worker were friendly and efficient. They showed they wanted people to join them at their restaurant- compared to the two ladies on either side that hardly looked at passersby. He worked for his tip and it was worth it. I wish everyone had work ethic like him.

Terrible food and forced manipulator service. And the guy who talked to much me to sit there from the neighbour called Cafe del Mondo where I have been before and everything was so good. He forced me to sit and I was naive to try something new. Its my fault. But run away from here. Terrible experience

Fui con mi hija a cenar, y me di cuenta de que todo no estaba bien cuando nuestra comida llegó cinco minutos después de pedir. Su pasta de salmón en una salsa cremosa obviamente se había preparado lo suficientemente bien como para que el salmón estuviera demasiado cocido e insípido, el vaso de Merlot pedido era horrible, y aunque mi Wiener Schitzel era pasable definitivamente no se había preparado en los cinco minutos anteriores. No se recomienda.

Waiters try lure you in by making conversation. Don’t make that mistake by going in simply because of that. Waiters are nice but the food is not good. Dry and takes like pre-cooked and then microwaved before they serve it to you

We had dinner late on a Friday evening (around 11), we ordered two burgers but evidently whoever served us forgot to leave the order. After more than an hour (if we hadn't asked for explanations we wouldn't even have eaten) we "enjoyed" these two truly mediocre burgers with equally mediocre fries. I do not recommend.

Apparently you can only sit here if you order “sufficient” amount of food and drinks. Our initial order was too less to qualify as a sit in. And yeah the food sucks like the service.

Great place. The food is amazing. Freshly cooked. The burgers were outstanding. Nice and friendly staff and very well located.

Lunch meal taken at 4 for a deplorable result, an hour of waiting before being served, random cooking of meats, tasteless sauces, average fries in terms of quality. That alone would be enough for us not to come back but in addition there are practices to increase the final bill, the waiters add sauces (paid obviously), add drinks and put the maximum size when we ask an average size, the same for meat or they increase the size of meat to charge more, we didn't give in and we paid for what we ordered, they play on the incomprehension of tourists to make them pay more. Also they refuse to split the bill because they are too lazy. Oh and the soundscape is a joke, it's loud music that cuts off by itself before starting again) (A little extra for the dirty and dilapidated sanitary facilities for that matter.) To put it simply, an expensive, noisy, not good tourist trap, which increases the bills and makes you wait a very long time because they are unable to manage a certain crowd.

A tourist trap par excellence. They are quick to make you a table and come pick you up, but then you have to wait more than half an hour to have your dish served. And the result is clearly not great... only frozen, everything is bland, jarred sauces, even the fries are not good. To flee. And little bonus: at the aperitif, the waiter asked us to help him clean the table! We had to remove the sauces, the placemats, the beers…

I hate eating here. Waiting for an hour to get a bland meal. If you are in a group and want to pay separately, this is impossible. And of course they take care to tell you that after taking the order. When it is this poor, please leave the choice of payment to customers. I STRONGLY advise against it. And it’s not a joke when I say that the wait was long but chilling they had time to melt in my glass.

I knew I was in for a treat as soon as I walked into Downtown Burger in Amsterdam. I got a beef burger, and it was delicious, juicy, and served in a large portion. I was hungry because I hadn't eaten breakfast or lunch, but I could only eat a quarter of it! It's just the right amount of spice to bring out the natural flavor of the beef. The place also has a nice view from the outside, which makes eating there even better. Downtown Burger is a great place to go if you like gourmet, big burgers. I promise you won't be let down!

This is the second time I come and I am here because my first time was very pleasant as well as the food and the service. The waiters are very friendly and helpful, this is what made me return.

Hazes was on when I was warmly received by the innkeeper. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails are served here. Citizens that international (import) Amsterdam residents know what to do with. After with some old friends I climatized with respect to old customs and memory from when I used to live in the center, I was ready to make my order. Old routes to use herbs, spices and regional/organic products in the kitchen have never been lost here! Le pain aveç du thon est Un dix.

Service was bad, I asked for my drink a few times I received it 20 minutes later, it was not busy on the terrace and when I got my drink, my €4 can of Redbul was not even cold.. Horrible irritating staff! After we ordered a second drink, we were asked several times to order something to eat or to sit inside or take a smaller table.

My wife and I ordered salmon fillet costed €26.95. The salmon fillet is exceptionally small, dry and did not taste like salmon. The music is extremely loud. I could hardly talk to my wife throughout the whole meal. Highly recommend others looking for restaurants elsewhere.

The restaurant host supposedly gave us a «special» table inside of the restaurant. The speakers were blasting loud Shakira and Pitbull music that almost gave us tinnitus. The place looked extremely shabby, so I ordered a burger to play it safe. That was a big mistake! The burgers were bland and tasteless with no sauce. The salad tasted like dish soap and the fries simply made me sad. I would’ve rather stayed hungry for hours than eating here again. The host was super loud and annoying, moving tables around all over the place while banging on a frying pan and glasses with a spoon. I tried to eat a bit of the burger but simply didn’t manage to eat more than 2-3 bites. I’m happy I atleast didn’t get diarrhea. Service was ok.
