McDonald's in Bijlmer Centrum (D,F,H)

I've never seen such a bad McDonald's, jeez. Got my order without burgers or a drink. Cold fries though, and too much sauce. The lady behind the counter almost flew away with her trembling eyelashes.

The food was like any McDonald’s, but the service was terrible. All the trash cans were massively overflowing, plus on top of and next to them, plus spilled drinks in multiple places and on multiple tables (without exaggeration). I was inside for about 40 minutes and not once did anyone come to clear tables or anything like that. It was moderately busy, and the tables that were empty were covered in crumbs, food scraps, plastic/paper mess, dirty hardened stains, and entire eaten menus from previous customers… it’s not that those customers were too lazy to clean up their food, because well…? Where else could they dump their food! Furthermore… marking orders as ready for pickup and then saying that a drink still needs to be prepared before the order is truly completely finished, but once they start drinking, they don't make the one for the order that is already ready, but just make other orders that aren't even halfway done. Also, the upstairs section of the Mc closed; I wanted to sit there and was arrogantly directed downstairs by A SISTER of an employee who doesn't even work there. She came to inform me that the upper section of the Mc is closing. All normal and nice, unless you are told this by a family member of an employee, and with arrogance to boot. Finally, there was also a school group inside screaming as if the end was near for a good hour, and not a single request for “may I perhaps ask you to turn it down a bit? People are really bothered by the noise.” It wasn't too busy and reasonably manageable… they could easily have sent someone to at least clean, but apparently that is already too much for those lazy employees. I do not recommend it!! Rotterdam wins 1-0 in this case.

It is very strange the toilet is closed after 10 and nowhere the notification is clearly given. I thought a restaurant especially a chain should at least guarantee customers to use a toilet in a restaurant.

They made me wait more than half an hour for A DRINK!! yes it was rush hour after a concert but it was only a drink!! People who ordered after me even got their food and i was there waiting like a fool for a drink! Not to mention it was expensive as hell. Horrible service and they paid me no attention when i tried to get my order! They even had it ready and didn't call me to take it i have to go ask again myself. WORST EXPERIENCE I EVER HAD AT A MCDONALD'S.

It was busy, which caused quite a bit of chaos. Part of our order was given to another order, so we had to wait a long time. Several people came back because their order was incorrect.

Thank you to whoever was giving out orders on 17/05/25 at 00:07: it was a rough night with plenty of people after the Harry Styles Concert. But the employee was very polite and kept smiling despite the rush. That’s really appreciated.

We came in for a bite to eat. The tables were dirty, we wiped them ourselves, and there was trash on the floor too. A guy on a moped drove right into the place, and the place started smelling of smoke. It was trash. This was the last time I was here.

The order is a bit slow, but otherwise a well-filled Big Mac with great fries.

I just wanted to pay fifty cents in the toilet, but there was no soap in the restrooms to wash the desk in the toilet. How can you just take money like that when there is no soap there? I think it feels like stealing people's money.

During events it is extremely busy and impossible to get through. Wait at least 45 minutes for the food. Not recommended for a quick bite.

Excellent Asian cuisine (Indian/Bhutan)

This morning I saw the man who made hamburgers with bare hands. That was so unhygienic and disgusting. He picked up the freshly cooked eggs with his bare hands. It was unacceptable🤮

I had a very disappointing experience at McDonald’s Amsterdam Amsterdamse Poort. The place was visibly dirty and poorly maintained, which immediately created an uncomfortable atmosphere. What made the situation worse was the behavior of the manager, who was extremely rude to both me and my daughter. My daughter has a medical need to brush her teeth immediately after meals, and when she went to the paid restroom to do so, she was almost forced out. The manager questioned her in a very disrespectful tone, asking if she didn't have a place to brush her teeth, which was completely inappropriate and insensitive. Overall, the environment felt unwelcoming and unpleasant. Between the lack of cleanliness and the poor customer service, this was a very negative experience that I would not expect from such a well-known chain. - - - - I had a very disappointing experience at McDonald’s Amsterdam Amsterdamse Poort. Admittedly, it was very crowded because there was an event in and around the Johan Cruijff Arena. However, there was no seating at all, no power outlets, and the toilets were very dirty. The food was cold, and there was effectively no service due to the crowds, orders weren’t called out and were only shown on a screen. I understand it’s just a McDonald’s, but it’s in a prime location that’s often packed during events, football matches, and similar occasions. On top of that, at the side entrance designated for delivery, there were countless drivers waiting for orders. I feel like the location is understaffed and its just to small for the area.

Today I ordered 2 fish fillet burgers I wanted both of them without cheese I asked them on the counter instead of no cheese can you put bit extra sauce on my bread. The manager with the white shirt was weirdly saying no there is no option for extra sauce, I said politely that I want no cheese on my bread but want extra sauce and he repeatedly said no 😡

Bad, strange opera music as if trying to scare away all the customers, and someone pretending to be the manager came back to our table because we accidentally ordered two fries instead of one, telling us we'd have to pay for the other fries after our meal. And the burger tasted like it had been sitting there for hours.

Very bad experience. A man with a high shaved haircut came to my table and took my fries because he thought I only had one portion of fries with my two menus. Very bad new manager.

It's incredibly poorly organized during large concerts and festivals in the area, so you still have to provide extra staff and supplies. There wasn't much. The numbering on the signs isn't working properly. After 45 minutes, the screen says your number is ready, then you squeeze through the crowds to get to the front to pick up your order, but it's not ready. Okay, so you wait a little longer...70 minutes for food for two people!! You don't dare leave because your number has already disappeared from the screen, and if you walk to the back, it's almost impossible to get back to the front through the crowds. Even saying, "Forget it, I want my money back and I don't want any more food," isn't an option.

They push you away when you call, very poor service. I called at least eight times!

Why the hell restaurant is closed at 9;00AM? All informations are that you can buy food from 8:00. Now is 9:05 and nobody cares about the door or clients. The stuff only laugh in the kitchen when they see us

Yes, McDonald's was great. It was a very busy evening after a concert. The staff was efficient and worked incredibly hard to feed everyone, so I want to give my compliments in the reviews. The seating was very dirty, and they close off the upstairs and restrooms in the evenings/during concerts, so I didn't get 5 stars.

I have been to McDonald's in many cities and countries, but this was the very first time I had to pay 50 cents per person to use the restroom AFTER I had ordered 45 euros worth of food. Ri-ri-ble. Absurd.

This is now the second time I've gotten sick at this McDonald's. The first time from soft serve ice cream, the second time from a McChicken. And when I say sick, I really was sick. It's not normal. A hygiene course wouldn't hurt.

Probably the worst McDonald's I went in Netherlands. The tables and floor were gross, despite not having many people present. It took super long to get our food, the staff was marking all orders "served" while they were not, eventually, they were calling orders with a really annoyed mindset. Our order was incomplete, we did not took it and shown the missing item. They argued it was there, after rechecking item per item, they finally agree it was missing. They made a mistade and made us feel like it was our mistake, no apologies. The food (burgers, fries, nuggets) were mild, the nuggets tasted like they were cooked a few hours ago, not fresh.

The Surinamese woman in the restaurant manager is extremely rude and insolent to guests. Has no manners. Someone accidentally ordered a different burger at the kiosk and was forced to take it home; they couldn't exchange it for another. The worst Mac in Amsterdam. You also get a cold burger and old fries.

Ended up with serious food poisoning — cheers for that. Should’ve known something was off when the food was handed over in under 30 seconds. How long had it been sitting there? Whatever it was, the food poisoning lasted way longer than the time they took to cook the meal.

First of all the place says it opens at 8:00 but not really. If you even find them open that and not literally closed do bot expect your food to be ready any time soon. They are NOT ready for business. Second, ok i wait 20 minutes for 3 cheesburgers, potatoes and cola. Ok no problem. Why in the hell would you prepare the cola first thing when you have a couple of customers in total and you KNOW the rest of the order has not even began to be prepared yet??? So that it stays there for 15 minutes and becomes water? Are you TRYING to annoy the customer on purpose? Unreal experience. And that's only one, i can describe several in this place. There a new manager, white guy, he is doing a good job and making sure everything is proper, if you see him enter, otherwise, do NOT. Simple as that.

Wrong burgers! I wanted them with pickles, my girlfriend wanted them without, and they switched it around. I had a hamburger and she had a sheebie jeebie, which was correct. The numbers were also mixed up and disappeared on the screen, so that wasn't right either. Don't go to MAC because of a bad burger!

Worst McDonald's I've ever been to. The staff is grumpy and unfriendly. The order was wrong. I ordered a cheeseburger without pickles, and my fiancé ordered a hamburger with pickles. But I got a cheeseburger with pickles, and he got one without, so we think they mixed it up. Furthermore, the food was cold, and orders that were ready were taken off the plates within three seconds, and the numbers weren't on them anymore. Because of this, there's no overview, and then we had to wait another 15 minutes for our food. And you shouldn't go there for the atmosphere either. So, I won't be coming back.

The burgers are pretty small, practically miniature... Service is fast but with bad attitude and rudeness.

This used to be a good Mac. Now it's terrible. I order food here and get it in a bag. I got a tray with the bag on it. The bag already had the Coke to pour over the sundae. And everything is only announced in English. Not even in Dutch, we're in the Netherlands after all. I order a cheeseburger. It was completely burned, and my discount from the app wasn't processed. Yesterday, the coupons were processed. But they should designate seats downstairs where people with disabilities or limited mobility can sit. Especially when it's busy, it's better to direct them upstairs, as there are many more seats. To add, how is it possible? I get an order from someone else, while I ordered from Muntbergweg via Thuisbezorgd. And I get an order from you via Uber Eats.

I went on a day when Ajax was playing. The busier it got, the more sloppy the order processing became. Sauce was forgotten or the wrong sauce was thrown away constantly. Orders were left unfinished, I think, and people who ordered after me got theirs before I did for my group. And when it arrived, the fries were lukewarm, the ice cubes in the drink had already half-melted, making it a watery drink. The sandwich tasted good, but the burger wasn't really warm anymore. All the trash cans were overflowing, resulting in trash and food being thrown away next to them. It certainly didn't look fresh.

Had dinner here with a friend after a night out. The employee behind the counter was eating chips. She didn't look up or around when a customer asked her something. Another employee also delivered the wrong order; half of it was missing. The staff at this location seem to have nothing to do with their work. The food was lukewarm. Evening at the Ziggo Dome. My friend and I thought it would be a good start at McDonald's. We waited at least an hour for the wrong order. When we went back to say we'd gotten the wrong one, it took ages to get the right one. Everything was dirty, and the staff took ages to give us everything and weren't friendly. The trash cans were overflowing; there wasn't enough staff for this McDonald's.

I'm not sure what the hell is going on in this brunch - all employees are smiling and friendly and it felt really welcoming and nice. The food is... McDonald's...satisfied the urge.

Cold food, order took 30 minutes. All the trash bins were so full that there was a lot of trash on the floors. The staff didn't clean it up. If you spend €80 on food with a group, you still have to pay for your restroom visit.

Of course, what do you expect after all the events at the Ziggo Dome and Afas😱🙈🫣… I was so hungry, so I ordered something. No receipt came out of the machine I ordered with, so no number either. I ordered three times… but it was so busy. So I'd already prepared myself for a long wait. Yeah, I think, there's no point in worrying. I was tired, had a bad back, and really needed to go to the bathroom. I just went people-watching and at the people who were so busy serving us food and drinks. My appreciation went up; these people are doing it anyway. The question then is, why do people get so angry? Even though it's their job, they're doing their best… they could also run away screaming and drop everything. But they kept going. So, my respect, and my chicken nuggets were delicious♥️♥️🫶🏻. Pretty much what you'd expect. It's maccie. They fold the paper that's normally wrapped around the burger into the burger. The orders disappear from the screen long before they're ready. Very convenient. Considering how busy it was, it wasn't too messy.

I had the BEST burger I have ever had at a McDonalds.

Just didn't put a third of my order, out wrong type of happy meal and fries were cold. Not the first time they miss one or two items, but check every your order every time especially in rush hour.

Every time I come here, they "forget" something in my order... really, really check what you're getting. I keep trying to trust that it'll be correct this time... to no avail.

Zero stars for the lazy cheapskate management at this McDonald's. Service with zero smile, zero energy. I paid for my food, but didn't accept it and left. Just so cheapskate management knows, you are loosing out on about 200 euros of sales in my two weeks vacation for a sixty eurocent dollop of whipped cream. I ordered from the digital kiosk, and my mistake, I ordered whipped cream for my coffee, when I wanted whipped cream for my pancakes (the same ones I had ordered yesterday but the were so dry they were almost inedible, even with the miniscules amount of syrup that comes with it.) The order was correct, but inedible. The black coffee had whipped cream and the inedible pancakes none. I asked for a new coffee and got it,but no whipped cream for the pancakes. I paid for whipped cream. Never going back.

We waited over an hour today before we could even order anything. The kiosks were shut down except for one. An elderly man in a mobility scooter asked for help with his order, but he didn't get it. Furthermore, the lobby was filthy. I had to wipe down the table myself before I could sit down. Overflowing trash cans, and the staff were unhygienic.

The tables could be cleaner, the toilets were also dirty while you have to pay €0.50, really pay more attention to the toilets and also wipe the tables before you walk through the McDonald's with dust and brush.

Do not come here… if you want to wait ages for the wrong food and it given to random people then you are in the right place. They then get annoyed when you ask for a new one. Worst McDonald's ever to witness. Absolutely uncoordinated emptyheads that even have difficulties with pronouncing simple words. Take 20 minutes for a hamburger and then the order is wrong. Absolut lowest ghetto McDonald's. Im sure if Ronald would visit this restaurant he'd be found hanging in the toilet. Rather go to Diemen, where you can get the normal European McDonald's experience.

A McDonald's near the ArenA should have functioned much better just before an event. It took over an hour for the food to be ready. Apparently, there were problems with the system. I felt sorry for the staff, as many customers were much more grumpy, and we certainly heard about it. You're all doing your best, but this was really poorly managed.

I was here for a concert. The takeout line was packed, and new orders kept coming in. They conveniently marked all the waiting orders as "ready," but then the chaos began. They kept grabbing someone's receipt and preparing their order. I stood in a takeout line for 45 minutes and was thankfully at the front. The fries were as soggy as could be. They probably sat under a hot plate for 45 minutes. There was no clear leader, and everyone just went about their business at a terribly slow, disinterested pace, while 100 people were waiting. Meanwhile, the staff was arguing with each other, and there was trash all over the kitchen floor. It was truly shameful.

Waiting in line for an hour and a half for your food. Don't go here if you're hungry. The service was terrible, but the atmosphere was great with all the people complaining about the place. But for fast food, it's really slow.

It's clear that McDonald's can't handle the crowds here. The number system is being overhauled, and then it's back to manual labor... That's not how McDonald's normally super-fast service works, which is a real shame. This needs to improve.
