McDonald's in Bijlmer Centrum (D,F,H)

Very busy and messy. Several orders went wrong and that takes time. Our order was correct, but the Big Mac was lukewarm, almost cold. Fries were warm and delicious. Due to the crowds, I didn't go back with the burgers.

This location is not fast food, waited longer than 30 minutes for my breakfast

If a dirty bum walks around upstairs begging for your food, we told the counter that we would advise you to buy him a burger. I wasn't hungry anymore...

I came here to eat with friends. It was very busy so we had to wait a while, I understood. The numbers were not displayed on the board so we had to listen to the employee mentioning them. Apparently my number had already been called twice, but I could not hear it properly due to the harsh environment and poor English and Dutch. The board with the numbers on it worked but was not used, separately. Well I had my food and the fries (all 3 containers) tasted like deep fryers and the fries were very yellow, I have never experienced this. After a lot of hesitation I went back. I explained that my fries were very tough and limp, with which the team leader said very irritated and repetitively ""what do you mean by that", after a few minutes she very uninterestedly grabbed 2 new containers of fries from the chip shop (while I had 3 that were I also showed). We were eventually allowed to take the 3 old containers of fries to our spot plus the (only) 2 new containers. When we had just sat back for a few seconds, an employee came and said angrily "give me the old fries" ?? So we were left with 2 fries that had been remade, slightly better than the first portions but still nowhere near what they normally tasted like. Well I'm not done yet. I open my burger, do I see brown lettuce?? The bun was also as dry as I don't know what. I have seen a lot of prepared burgers standing under a heat lamp, I don't know if this could have been the cause. I couldn't finish the burger, very tough. I didn't dare go back so I kept it to myself. Bad experience this! I won't be back.

Had to wait 1 hour for my food. Finally I asked a nice woman who immediately started preparing my food. But 1 hour is sad.

This McDonald's offers a unique experience: you get a free workout, because the floor is so sticky that you have to pull yourself loose with every step. We had already ordered before we saw how dirty it was - cleaning a table was out of the question because when we asked the manager for a cloth, we were given a packet of napkins. (Photo of the table is after we cleaned it with napkins and perfume/alcohol). The tables were sticky enough to permanently glue your phone to them. A real shame, because hygiene seems to be as rare here as an ice cream machine that works. Let's do a drive-thru next time... if we ever get away from this floor. Update 45 minutes later and we still have 0 food and can no longer move our legs. Help!

Nice, big Mc. Due to its location, it is almost always busy here. Yet there is always a spot. The toilets are spacious. On the second floor you have two cozy seats by the window with a view of the shoppers.

This is hands down the worst McDonald's I have ever ordered from. I ordered €40 worth of food and a product was not delivered. I then called the restaurant to report this. The manager tried to convince me that the forgotten burger was indeed packed, while the bag was given to the delivery person sealed shut. Yet the burger was noticeably missing from the bag when I received my order. The delivery was fast, but I find it downright disappointing how the manager handled this. He suggested I come by to get my burger and a drink. When I explained that I was at work and couldn't leave, he simply wished me a nice day and hung up. No attempt to resolve this neatly. This experience was so bad that I think this restaurant should be closed. Such an attitude towards customers is unacceptable.

5 stars for the manager who was there today, knows how to tackle things. On the right track! But this review is about McDonald's itself. I have worked at Spaklerweg myself, and this mac is the slowest, most disorganized mac I have experienced. This should actually be banned. They don't work via the screen and still sound old-school. A bit confusing when it's busy and people get irritated. I have never waited so long for my food. By the way, I'm not talking about today, but in general. Today the food came exceptionally quickly. Employees need some pepper! I'd rather buy somewhere else than have to wait 30 hours here for my food.

Tasty food, fast & friendly service

Waited like 1 hour on my order which magically disappeared from the order number board while my friend already were done eating I was waiting for my order and I asked like 4 times when my order was ready and got the answer to wait. After the order finally was done the milkshake wasn’t a milkshake anymore. It was more like a watermix infused with some spoiled milk.

Bad service. If you ask for a bag you will be told they don't have it. While there is a bag in front of me to which I respond, what is this? Yes this is for the Uber eats drivers. Then you think I'll ask if I can buy a bag. We don't sell bags was the answer. Unfortunately you have to take your food with you. Then ask if you can speak to someone in charge. There isn't one either. A bit of a shame this McDonald. Do not provide any service or solution. Canceling an order was also not possible. 3 years later 11/24/2024: After standing in line for 5 minutes, you are finally helped. While taking my order, the female cashier went to do something else in the meantime, after asking twice if I could pay (the lady in question was making coffee for a customer) there was no answer and I left.

Mac like Mac. Quick service. A lot of people, especially children and teenagers. Normal prices, but the burgers are different than in Poland. I have the impression that beef is better.

Received cold food after waiting 1.5 hours. No system at all. No sauce that we ordered. Employee said we shouldn't complain because it was busy. I was vomiting and having diarrhea all night. Never again this Mac....

This place has a lot of bad reviews about incomplete orders, long waiting times and absolute total chaos. I can say that this is the worst managed McDonald’s I have ever visited. A complete joke. I had to wait so long for my order that I walked out without food. It also took too long to get a refund. Cost me 25 Euros and a hungry evening.

I have never received such poor service before. After half an hour we still didn't have our food. We then politely asked 2 employees several times where our order was, and also in front of a whole group of people with us, and no action was taken. In the end I had to shout loudly for the manager myself. Only then was everyone finally helped. But no explanation and no apology. Waste bins were overflowing, the toilets were not clean and there was no toilet paper in sight. I'll never come here again.

Staff does not speak Dutch! Food is cold, you can wait 1.5 hours for your order and then you don't even have the right order. The trash cans are overflowing and are being tamped down with the trays! Staff do not wear hairnets. So pay attention to any hairs on your food!

Of the 300 branches of McD I have visited, this is the first one where there is pay to use the toilet.

The food is great and all, but it took too long for my order. I literally had to wait 20 minutes for a chicken burger, and they clicked away the order 10 minutes before they actually served it, so you wouldn't even know if your order was ready or not.

It’s one the better McDonalds in the city centre, major factor being a lot of seats on multiple floors.

I give the atmosphere a 3 because I usually go at night and at night there are only bad people around. For service a 3 because the machine most of the time I go either doesn't work or doesn't have paper, but as for the employees, they are very friendly. The food, well, it's McDonald's, but you can't expect it hahaha. In short, it's fine, but that's it, there needs to be no such people at night and the ordering machines work well.

Waited 24 minutes for an espresso. I have asked for it twice. My order never appeared on the waiting list. After I asked for it, the first restaurant worker did not even take my request seriously to check it. The second worker made me my order directly, after she realised she cannot find it on the display. The restaurant is heavily understaffed and is unable to serve the crowd in a timely manner - this is recurring for this restaurant, happens often. I have also emailed them my complaint which I have never received a reply for. I find it unacceptable to be treated like this for a service I pay for.

Slowest McDonald's I've ever been to. Waited 35 minutes for a single mcflurry. The manager is running around working like crazy, the rest of the staff look like they don't care at all and work at 0.5 speed. Without a huge overhaul this location can never be called "fast food"

As mentioned here before, it takes so incredibly long to get your food. Yesterday I waited 1.5 hours for food, never seen a McDonald's before, I won't go here again. There was no organization at all, a shortage of staff obviously doesn't help, but just don't close your door for too long if you can't handle it or have a queue to get in.

The order in the cafe was handed to me in a takeaway bag. I said that I had chosen the "eat in" option when ordering and the employee asked why I was not happy with the bag. Would’ve given 0 stars because I got food poisoning after I’ve been there last year! Had to go to the hospital… and couldn’t enjoy the concert I’ve planned on going. Came from Germany just for the concert.

Terrible woman behind the takeaway counter. Super grumpy and when we could pick up our order, I didn't say your number. The woman next to me said yes. She had checked the receipt 6 times when we arrived at the car and discovered that there was no happy meal toy in it, but neither were the French fries. So never go here again. Filing a complaint is also quite a job. So this certainly didn't make us happy. It was more than a 10 minute walk back, so everything would have been cold

If any branch had to be designated for immediate closure, it would be this one. This branch really takes the cake in total disinterest for the customer, with warm Mcflurry's and the slowest employees McDonalds employs all over the world. It's really unbelievable what's happening here. Honestly, just go and get a hair salon under the NS track. Ready earlier, tastier and cheaper.
