The manager was incredibly rude. They charge higher prices and then call it policy. The manager was angry and curt. For days, I was completely out of touch.

The attitude of the employes is wild, the don't care or want to help u, never again

Adhanon refused to take out order at 11:49 when we were already in the building and he told us they were closed and they supposedly couldn’t take orders anymore. Big line behind us as well. They told us to get in line at the drive-through, were we waited for almost an hour to get our order. Weird that google also says that they are open until 3:00 when they apparently close at 00:00

A wrap for €9, and we were extremely disappointed. It was actually just the wheat wrap itself plus the "meat" pad with chili sauce, no lettuce, tomatoes, or anything like that. The burger was also so overdone that it was almost impossible to remove from the box without getting it all over you.

For takeaway they didnt put the drink stabilizer so all my food is waste. The worst service ever . No communication , no job ethics

If you specifically ask for a plant-based burger, and it is asked and confirmed, then you can expect a McDonald's to give you a dish that is actually plant-based - if only because we are talking about allergens here. Luckily, we checked the website when we got home.

Most unkind people ever, burger is disappointing and was just stared at to death. McDonalds has never had a good reputation. But here they do nothing to fix it 🤡🤡🤡🤡

The worst experience in years. It was all a chaotic situation, 40 minutes to receive my order. There was an ice cream for 10 minutes melting til it went to the bin. The drinks are served before the food is out, so all the ice was melted. Horrible

They still make a lot of mistakes at this mcdonalds. This time cheeseburger without cheese. So far almost never got an order without mistakes. They also hardly speak Dutch at the counter which makes communication more difficult.

I never experienced such a terrible service in my entire life! Guys,this is a well known respected wordwide fast food chain.Some supervisor with a bad attitude,he was supposed to be the most customer friendly but he is such an arrogant person,i understand that he might be an immigrant, i am also one,but at least i do my best to respect the way the Dutch society is functioning,based on mutual respect.Well,this person doesn't respect such thing.I wonder how come he became a supervisor at McDonald’s?

What a horrible Mc!! Orders are forgotten, wrong orders delivered and takes a very long time! In addition, it is also a dirty mess and you are not treated properly!

Dear Sir/Madam, I would like to file a complaint about my experience at McDonald’s Spaklerweg in Amsterdam on June 15, 2025 around 5:00 PM. My order number was 3055. To my surprise, I saw that guests with higher order numbers, such as 3064, were helped first, while I had to wait more than 20 minutes for my order. After I noticed that my order was taking an unusually long time, I walked over to one of the floor managers to politely inquire about the status of my order. To my great surprise and disappointment, the floor manager responded extremely rudely. To my friendly question "Excuse me, sir?" he replied very curtly and unfriendly with: "What do you want?!". I indicated that I had already been waiting for my order for 15 minutes, to which he said annoyed: "Coming soon!". He then took my receipt, walked over to the staff and said something to a colleague, who then started laughing. When the floor manager returned and I indicated that I wanted to file a complaint about his behavior, he reacted angrily again and said: "Go ahead, I don't care." I was with my 18-year-old son and my wife during this incident, both of whom fully experienced this incident. The behavior of this floor manager, a gentleman with a Somali appearance (the other floor manager, a Dutch man in a white shirt, was not), was far from customer-friendly and absolutely not in line with the service one would expect from an internationally renowned company such as McDonald's. As someone with years of experience in customer service, I know how important respectful and professional communication is - especially in situations where a customer has had to wait for a long time. The behavior of this employee was not only unprofessional, but also made me feel completely disregarded as a customer. I kindly but urgently request that you take this situation seriously, investigate the incident and take appropriate action. I would like to receive feedback on the outcome of your investigation and the steps that are being taken to prevent recurrence. Kind regards,R.C.

They are really suffering from a staff shortage

Very shocked by how the staff was going about it. I didn't see the microphone where you could order. I thought maybe the microphone was broken and drove on to the next window. To my great surprise the employee started going on and shouting that he was talking into the microphone and I was ignoring him. Apparently the microphone was somewhere in the bushes. I stayed calm and asked if I could still order at the window. Whereupon he slammed the window shut...

As a customer I have seen how the manager treats his staff. This is not great, he tries to intimidate them. Furthermore, they push orders through so that they can make the time. This causes confusion. So in short: Manager is weird to the staff, they mess with their numbers and they forget half of your order (that manager is a complete idiot)

This evening I visited this restaurant to enjoy a Mc Flurry in peace. After ordering, I had to wait 15 minutes for my ice cream, which was handed to me in an unfriendly manner. After I started eating I was sent out by extremely unfriendly and incomprehensible staff. This inconvenience could have been avoided with faster service. Furthermore, it is an absolute disgrace to treat customers like this.

Even one star is waste. I want to make it zero star. A guy who is working here said it’s closed now and I couldn’t understand what he said. And just because I didn’t get it, he made an SUPER annoyed face. He was looking at me as I’m freaking stupid. I was very confused and embarrassed. Is his job making his customers mad?? I don’t think he can work here because he is so rude. Also, I ordered McFlurry and it was with HOT CHOCOLATE SAUCE? So the ice cream got melted right away. And the amount was way smaller than other McDonald’s. Very disappointing.

food took 30 minutes to get. I only ordered one frappe, one cola and 20 piece chicken nuggets. Frappe tasted like whipped cream with caramel sauce and nuggets were too cold.

I was surprised by the speed with which I received my coffee, and by the price: 1 euro for a good cup of coffee.

Always busy; tables are not cleaned, waste bins are overflowing, toilet dispensers are often empty. In short: not a clean hygienic location of the Mac.

This is one of the worst McDonalds branches I have ever visited. Cheap, rude staff who often don't speak the language, and he was difficult about my order (unclear what), a Mc is you say what you want and they arrange it, but not here, something about 2 colas on the same receipt. Brought in a Dutch-speaking manager, but like other employees, he just babbles. Bad atmosphere, sweaty tent with a lot of shouting and little space for all the people. And less tasty burgers than the other Mc's I go to. Well, Amsterdam... all style and concern for service & food disappears there, just like in the city as a whole. Next time McDonalds in Amsterdam if we happen to be in the area? No, just make an extra detour to, for example, the one in Amstelveen.

I visited this establishment tonight, and I have never experienced a worse customer service experience. I ordered a menu with iced tea which was disgusting and I drank from the cup twice, I went to the waiter then to the manager who looked inside the cup and did not want to exchange my disgusting tea for a Coke? I think this MC is not doing a good job of advertising, and I would recommend changing the manager of this establishment because he has no feeling for the customer. Definitely do not go to this MC

Terrible service. I am Brazilian and I am in the Netherlands as a tourist. I went to McDonald's on 03/06/2025, at night, with my family. I tried to pay for the snack at the cashier, but I was solemnly ignored by the attendant who should have been at the cashier receiving the payment.

Very disappointed with the packaging of my takeaway order. I was given a tiny bag with part of the order, and the rest to take directly in hand... It's not practical. A real lack of professionalism.

The gentleman who took my order at McDrive is by far the best in the Netherlands. Fast, adequate and extremely friendly and neat! Keep up the good work!

Staff is highly recommended to get customer friendly training

The manager (an Indian man) was anything but customer-friendly. A few items were missing from our order, so we drove back to inform him. Not once did he apologize. His attitude was disgusting, and his tone was passive-aggressive. When I politely mentioned that I didn’t appreciate his attitude and tone, he gave a passive-aggressive request for us to leave the premises and refused to acknowledge that missing items in an order is a mistake. But thanks for the 10 veggie chicken nuggets – a silver lining to an otherwise awful experience.

I went there around 1:00 in the morning, no one spoke Dutch, a woman spoke to us in an unknown language. Furthermore, when we spoke to them in Dutch or English, the saleswoman understood neither English nor Dutch. Furthermore, the lady was so rude to us that she stressed us out and we made us forget the drinks because we wanted to run away. And when we left, we greeted out of politeness the saleswoman who was aggressive and did not answer us and almost threw the bags of food at us like you throw trash cans in front of your door.... Very disappointed to see this in front of a fast food counter. It even made us paranoid about food, seeing her face, we even had the impression that she was ready to burst into our hamburgers. We will never come back to this Mac Donald again..!!! PS: the Manager really disappointed us. I'll keep my saliva because it's not worth it.... (he made some young girls walk and wait for half an hour between cars in the drive-thru around 2:00 a.m., and so on...)

This particular McDonald’s has changed a lot over the period of the last 2 months. I attend it regularly for the last 3 years and it had its ups and downs, but at the moment it is the best it has ever been. Quick service (as what you expect from such place), warm food (sometimes it is served cold in other McDonald’s restaurants) and rather clean. Overall a pleasant experience and it is visible that the staff has been working well to get back to a top level of McDonald’s service. Thank you and keep it this way!

Worst Mac I've ever been to. Unfriendly staff, 9 out of 10 bunch of shags. Food cold, sure you get new but you can't smile or apologize. Poor tent hygiene is hard to find. NOT RECOMMENDED!

In general, the taste of local food in the Netherlands is significantly worse than in Poland. However, MCDonalds is MCDonalds, the standards of classic sandwiches are maintained.

I stood at the cash register for a super long time, after 2 minutes the manager saw us and said he would help us shortly. 4 minutes later we still had not been helped. Then a lady who was super busy at work came to help us quickly, something the manager should have done 5 minutes ago. Thanks a lot to the woman who helped us in the end, but the management needs a change. I also saw him shout quite loudly at his employees.

The staff is very friendly. Whether I go through the drive-thru or eat the food at the restaurant, they are always super fast. No matter how busy it is there, I always get my food fresh.

Says they close at 3am online but closed at 11pm and were sending everyone to drive thru so we ordered online only to get the wrong food. Took it back and the manager refused to give us our food and said he can’t do anything about it. The manager is a miserable man that has no professional mannerism and ignores customers. Not sure how he got the manager role to be honest.

My order was literally thrown hard on the counter in front of me with an angry look. I have never been treated so poorly in any McDonalds. Last time here for me! Minus 5 stars for the woman behind the counter.

Like a bunch of annoying people, they have increased the price of the ice cream cones to 1 euro. And I order a vanilla shake and I get a banana shake 3 times in a row, they completely ruin it here. And even the Ronald Gym club has been closed for 10 weeks. Boyd likes to climb and slide. Even the taps smell and don't work properly, the MC croquettes are soggy. You also have to pay 10 cents extra for not throwing away disposable cups. They have shit music here too. Never coming back here again!

Problems with my order, but the moment I wanted to discuss this with the manager, he was in defense mode. His entire argument from the beginning was how it couldn't have been their fault and so a discussion was pointless. You could tell him that grass is green and he would try to argue and convince you you're wrong. Hope he gets paid commission because otherwise I have no idea why he tries to defend this company to death over a messed up order. Either way, the 20 euro he saved them on this one they lose over me not coming there again.

I don't expect top quality from McDOnalds. What I do expect is that my food is warm. And that has already been set too high several times in this branch. Either the fries are cold, or the chicken. Or both. And that several times. Or you get a fishburger that tastes like rubber. In case of complaints, you will receive a new one without any form of excuse. But then the fries were cold again... And the 2nd fishburger was even dirtier. (And yes: I know what the fishburger is supposed to taste like, because I eat it more often, in other branches). In short: bad food. Management disinterested. And the place is often dirty, messy, with overflowing garbage bins. In short: by far the worst McDonald I know. And that has been the case at least once for a long time. McDonnald: if you read this: INTERVENE! Do something about it

I'm a big fan of ChilliChicken, but this was by far the most disgusting ChilliChicken of my life. The outside was ROCK HARD, the inside was SOMPY AND TASTELESS. They close when they want. I walked 30 mins to get food desperate as they said they closed at 1am on their site - I arrived at 12:20 and they closed. Totally wasted my time.
