McDonald's in Oude Pijp

Oh no, hey dear sir, my friends and I always came here in the evening and liked to have a snack. The last two days we noticed that there were clearly not enough people and no one was cleaning the hall, the ice cream was not as tasty as before! And you get no help with checkout! Do something about it quickly!

I understand that I am in Amsterdam and that it is bursting with tourists, but the staff seems like tourists themselves! Received half order takes a long time and big mess in the restaurant!

The employee at the checkout is very polite but the employee standing in front of the toilet is very unfriendly and charges 50 cents per person per person. I asked him if I could go to the toilet first and later I gave him the money and he said :no, you should give the money first. According to my observation, this toilet man gets at least 120 euros per hour because at least 2 people go in there every minute. That's not fair for the employee at the checkout or even fair for everyone.

Our cup of hot water for a tea sat for 10 minutes until I asked for it to be passed to me. Toilet attendant was rude and paying for a toilet in McDonald’s is ridiculous anyway.

It was busy, cold, drizzly and it took at least an hour to get home. Ate two hambi's with a fresh coffee. I still feel satisfied about it. And the toilet attendant was very attentive to helping everyone. Still fun.

Not the McDonald’s quality. Place is dirty and my just made hamburguer packed as if someone already opened it and took a bite Dirty place. Workers in a bad mood. Not smile no kindness at all.

McDonald's Amsterdam is fine for a quick bite, but don't expect an exceptional experience. The food is as you would expect from a McDonald's: standard, sometimes a bit lukewarm, and the waiting time can vary. The location is convenient, but often crowded and messy. Sufficient for a quick snack, but nothing special.

Coming from the UK and wow this McDonalds is different level, food so good. More expensive than what you pay in the UK but for the quality of meal you get it’s 100% worth it! 🤤

MaccieD, usually good, sometimes not very hot food.

If we compare with McDonald's in other countries, then in the Netherlands it clearly loses, there is a small selection of burgers, a lot of drinks, but there is so much ice that there is essentially nothing to drink there. On the plus side, it’s a very tasty sauce for potatoes.

service not so good, my Big Mac (which is my all time favourite) was falling apart,once I opened the box the top burger was almost out of the bread.

Food's like any of these places, unhappy as I got into a fight with one of their guys who wanted to cgarge me 50 cents for the bathrooms while I spent 50 euros on food. Bizarre.

So first off, the food when we ordered it from the machine, we didn't get the receipt because it said error and then it took ages to get the food and didn't even have napkins with our food aswell and couldn't find those anywhere. Place looked dirty and you had to pay extra FOR KETCHUP? What the hell?

The requirements for working here are to to be sad, not make eye contact or smile.

Customers who order food also need 0.50 euros to go to the toilet. Even if the sign says under 15 years old can use the toilet for free. When a 9-year-old child went to the toilet for the second time, he was asked: How many times already?

A billion dollars company that charges his PAYING costumers 50 cents for using a dirty toilet

Worst mcDonald's you can ever be. Dont eat there. There are plenty of restaurant much cheaper than this place.

You have to pay for the toilets?!

You have to pay for the toilets, even if you are a client. The staff is blocking the entrance of the toilets and ask you some money to access it. This is unacceptable to ask money for accessing the toilets especially as a client. I travel all the time, this is the first time it happened to me. Also if you are like me and never have cash with you be prepared that even if you get sick the staff will not let you in without giving them some cash.

Man put his hand on my friend aggressively when trying to enter the bathroom grabbing him. Then mentioned you have to pay, worker would be charged for doing that in my country and that's the behaviour they accept in this mcdonalds instead of using their words.

Not exactly the best considering Mc Donald's standards

After often having to wait half an hour and then receiving cold food, I was laughed at by two employees today. I do physical work and had to get a good lunch early so that I could continue afterwards and not have to go outside anymore. So I ordered a burger and fries for 12 noon. Of course I found that embarrassing enough, but I saw two employees looking at my receipt and laughing. Instead of putting it in a bag to take with them, they put it together on a tray and the two of them looked at me, grinning. I said I had clicked take and asked if I could have a bag. One of the men slowly started to put it in a bag, dropping some of the fries. The two looked at me for a long time, laughing evilly and said nothing else. I don't mean to be Karen, but you work at a fast food restaurant. Then don't harass the people who actually come to eat there. It was really unpleasant. Don't think I'll be back anytime soon

Too bad you don't get an option to personalize. If you don't ask for cheese, you get two thick slices of cheese between your burger. Being able to throw it away...

VERY EXPENSIVE! for a milkshake, a salad, a strange milk drink and funny little feet, they paid 30 euros. For what? Sauce 80 cents is just a shock. I would rather vote for AfD, and then the döner will be 3 euros each. In fact, it is much easier to go eat at a restikk than at this jogging track. Do not think that you will save. Amsterdam is expensive, but you don't have to save on yourself!! Girls, you deserve the best!

It's a McDonald's... What is there to stay.

Slightly over run with kids when we went and a little expensive compared to home but everything you expect from a McDonald's so can't truly complain, €30 something for nuggets and a quarter pounder meal with 2 drinks

I had to come to Amsterdam to eat a splendid and fantastic Big Tasty, moreover with a double burger. A dream.

There used to be a professional crew at this McDonald's a few months ago. Now people working there don't care about their job at all: every time they mess an order, put wrong items or don't put most of the order at all. They turned a comfort food restaurant into one of these most unpleasant and stressful experience ever. I don't think that current managers should be allowed to work in restaurant industry at all.

20 min to have a small drink, pay WC even if you consume

I want to personally thanks for the great packing! We really loved these ice cold fries. I have gave this place so many chances because I live next to it but this must the worst McDonalds I have honestly ever come across. They will get ur order messed up everytime

I will never recommend this place ! We have been am waiting for 1h and never received our meal ! We had to leave without any compensation ! It was full and the team was poor service ! And we never received help or our money back !

Very mediocre establishment with McCafe products, without McDrive. Directly on the Albert Cuyp. Everything is very tight here and many antisocial customers who do not tidy up their things. Toilets not clean. Shame.

We had to ask for different people and wait for several minutes to get a refund for the reusable cups for the ice cream.

I was absolutely disgusted and horrified at the fact that i found a worm inside my chicken nugget which felt slimy and disgusting, and i later saw that it was growing to what seemed to its proper form. I tried to inform an employee which i think he knew it was a worm telling from his facial expression, which then pulled the manager and then tried to convince me that it was chicken, and then pulled it out of the chicken nugget, afterwards when i went back to my table, it seemed that the other half of the worm was growing and wiggling, trying to get out of the chicken nugget. I left the rest of my chicken nuggets because of how disgusted i was. I am never coming back to this McDonald’s branch EVER AGAIN, and i am absolutely traumatized from what i saw.

Liked the way drink cups are recycled, my daughter liked that there is a bigger choice of vegetarian food than in the uk, and she loved the coconut milk shake ,l didn't like the fact we both had to pay to use the toilets.

Very bad experience, restaurant was quite busy but the employees didn't seem to care as their work speed was stuck in the slow position. We had Cola to our meal but It tasted of absolutely nothing, we told this to the manager but he did not seem to care, but we got new ones after a while, and the tasted the same. Everyone around us complained about their drinks. Food was vet bad presented and only lukewarm

Good location and the service was good.

I went to this establishment several times hoping for the best, but each time I was more and more disappointed. The food is microscopic, large fries are equivalent to small ones, burgers are half the normal size. I ordered a Big Mac, not a Small Mac. It's absolutely the same with drinks. I'd rather go to Febo.

Ordered on 16th of March, received happy meal with opened and partially rotten apple slice portion having expiry date on the same day. This should be checked. This menu is for kids.

You should be ashamed of yourself McDonalds! Almost €5 for an Oreo McFlurry and it hardly covers the bottom of the spoon, the toppings were not mixed in, and the worst part- no one cared at all. Not even .5” of soft serve and toppings combined! Who thinks this is acceptable? Your staff.

Rather bad experience with one waitresses. She seemed very annoyed every time I asked her something and she was on the edge of being rude a couple times. Quite uncommon for McDonalds

I ordered a Big Mac takeaway menu and when I got home, I noticed that the top part of the burger was missing… no steak.. Undercooked fries, the rest was fine for the coke and the nuggets.

Extremely rude staff here. I wanted to pay cash and the worker at the counter made it seem like it was the biggest inconvenience. Even if you eat here, you also need to pay for the washrooms - and the employee barks in your face to pay as you walk close to the washroom entrance. The lady who was calling out the order numbers called my order number wrong (so I thought the meal wasn’t for me) - but she saw my ticket and start to yell and point at me. No apology when I asked politely if she meant to say my number and she just shoved the tray at me

My husband and I wanted to use the toilet. My husband had 1 euro for both of us but there was no container to put the money in. We decided to go to the toilet and then hand over the money at the counter. I was done and wanted to wash my hands, an employee suddenly came and placed a paper cup next to me and walked into the toilet where I came out. I waited for my husband, he had the money. She shouts like a fishwife, madam, you haven't paid yet. I say that's right, but my husband comes straight from the toilet and he has the money. There were all kinds of people standing there so I felt very uncomfortable. The employee was very unfriendly. It's fine for a customer to pay for the toilet. But these were so terribly dirty. My husband neatly put the euro in the paper cup. It's a shame that customers are treated this way.

It's alright to get a quick bite to eat in amsterdam when on foot quite local to most shops. Just quite alot of rubish laying around needs more staff.
