Burger King in Grachtengordel-Zuid

I paid 1€ to go to the nastiest toilet I've ever seen. The whole floor was a puddle of piss and there were smudges of poop in the WC and also in the sink.

Eating a burger at this Burger King with a foreign friend and then having to pay 1 euro to gain access to an extremely dirty toilet, which made it almost impossible for me to get my burger down my throat, I think it's a shame. No advertising for the Dutch catering industry. At the very least, regularly inspecting the only 2 toilets present does not seem to me to be a luxury but a duty. I understand that people do not want to make customers pay, but people who spend money on your products should in principle be able to use the toilet for free. Unfortunately no photo was taken. But if I ever find it like that again, you can bet I'll put a photo on the internet.

Very bad treatment by the staff, even being a little racist

The atmosphere is quiet, the staff is very friendly and I was helped by a nice girl Shohra! I will definitely come here next time!

I went to Burger King and found it to be a very pleasant place. The place is clean and well organized, perfect for a quick meal. The staff were extremely polite and attentive, and they also speak several languages, which made communication much easier. It was a very positive and convenient experience!

The food is always at the top even if different from the Italian one.... At times better, more choice. The location is beautiful with a super view of the main street. The staff is ok but.... It's all becoming too automatic, there's no human warmth.

Nice to have a deposit cup where you don't get your money back via Tikkie. The machine doesn't work either. Furthermore, the Whopper was not complete and the interior here could use some freshening up.

I ordered onion rings and they were honestly terrible, they were cold, shriveled and obviously VERY old, they were super hard and chewy and I think they were over a week old, and I got 1 too little too, if I get sick in the days to come, these things will be to blame

Food was fine, the thing is that I have honestly seen scat orgies with cleaner toilets than those at this Burger King. And I also had to pay 80 cents for it.

This was my biggest opp in march, because mcdonald’s next to it was closed and it was always stuffed and you had to wait forever to get your food. Absolutely horrible, especially if you wanted something quick and easy. I waited over 35min to get my stuff. But now mcdonald’s is open again so i guess it has to be better now.

I never really thought there was such a thing as a bad branded quick service restaurant, I thought they all were the same and God was I wrong. I waited 20 minutes for my order, which was fries and a burger, and it's worth mentioning that there were only 4 customers in the whole restaurant, including me. The floor was sticky, a person at the table next to mine spilled cola on the table. We asked the janitor to clean it, but the table was still not cleaned even after we finished eating. The food was decent, tasting like a regular Burger King meal, but the service was not the best.

I think one thing remains... no Dutch speaking people. Ordered a large menu and received small fries and medium drinks. Also forgot to provide straws. When you come back it becomes a pointless discussion because they think they have done it right.

Staff at the counter were nice, the man who cleared tables was rude. Spoke English to me Go Inside nij ladies toilet. The ladies' toilet was full and I waited outside the door.

Even as a fan of the brand I'm utterly appalled by the people that work in this "restaurant". I was halfway through eating my burger near the entrance when the staff suddenly demanded I went upstairs (which I couldn't due to knee injury) or outside, in the cold, to finish my meal. When I pointed out that more people had been eating where I stood, they brushed it aside and claimed it was "the rules", despite there not being a sign anywhere prohibiting anyone to eat where I stood. All staff gathered to be additionally rude, before I took the burger and ate the rest outside. Everyone who works there is a horrible, ignorant human being, and I suggest you take your business elsewhere, like the McDonald's across the street.

The food was good, the service from the waiters is non-existent but what surprises me most is that I just paid 30 euros for two combos and I can't use the bathroom without paying extra.

Food and drinks are really not great, and not particularly cheap. You have to pay €0.80 for the toilet, that's crazy! In theory there's some hand gel by the stairs, but when I was there the dispenser was empty. So if you want to wash your hands twice (before the meal to avoid getting sick, and after the meal because you have greasy hands) you need to add €1.60 per person to the bill! And you have to pay €1 for a reusable cup, but they don't tell you that you can get the money back by returning your cup at the end - and in my case, it was too late when I realised it, I had already thrown my receipt in the bin.

The attitude of the people who work there is horrible. I didn't look at the time and since I saw the door open I went in to order. It was around 10:10 am but they treat you badly and chase you away. I like eating at Burger King. I asked them what time they open and they told me 11:00 am and on Google Maps it says they open at 11:00 am. I went back in at 11:05 and they yell at you. They are very vulgar. I didn't understand why that attitude. They themselves told me they would open at 11:00 am. They yelled at me. I asked them again and they told me rudely that they would open at 11:30 am.

Ordered some food for delivery, when the driver gets there the delivery disappeared and the manager doesn't want to make another one. Never order again.

Unpleasant operation; very grumpy. Bad service. Fleeting and impersonal. We received the drinks in 1 paper bag and not, as requested, the 4 cups in a holder. Then the paper bag broke outside the store due to condensation from the cups, causing 3 cups of drinks to break. The response from the staff was; that what happens outside the store is not their responsibility and that no compensation was possible. We won't be coming back here again, but this probably won't bother the staff.

They don't attend to you, they are talking and they don't even look at you. The bathroom 80 cents. Don't go.

One of the employees is not helpful at all, in fact he answers reluctantly or does not answer directly. Then payment for use of the bathroom. I'm eating there and on top of that I have to pay 80ct to use the bathroom? And to top it off, some dirty bathrooms as you can see in the photos. I understand that you have to pay to use the bathroom, but to the clients themselves? In other BKs there is a QR code system on your purchase receipt and you can access the bathroom.

As always in a fast food restaurant, the atmosphere and the food are not really special. But the price does not allow that, unfortunately you can no longer pay with cash in this chain and you have to pay by card. You can choose to have a cup with a plastic surcharge. to buy or to buy a deposit for a pitiful amount of € 1, okay. That's quite an exaggeration, but hey, you're also guaranteed to get that euro back, although you have to do something for that and you have to have the tikkie app on your mobile. If you don't have one, you can whistle for your euro or they can do it via the Tour debit card, but of course they prefer that you do it via Tikkie. Food was pretty good. I expected the iced tea to be flat but it was sparkling. Service was so so because they were so busy. Atmosphere was pretty bad considering there was no nice background music.

Ice was okay, but the toilets hadn't been cleaned in days. Poop residue everywhere, toilet paper on the floor, overflowing garbage cans and urine flying everywhere. Really dirty. Staff did not speak Dutch and were disinterested. And in order to get your deposit back, I had to enter all my bank details for each cup separately. And the next day it is not yet in your account. Service lamentable, j’ai mangé mon menu seul pendant que les amis ne pouvaient pas monter me rejoindre car le staff voulait clean le 2e étages. Mes amis ont mangé en bas sur le comptoir (caisse) et le personnel refusait que les clients montent pour s’assoir. Restaurant service were very poor with 30mins delay to get food and ot serving any ketchup either. Staff on the tills and pick up order area very confronting and not willing to be polite. They charge 80cents for toilet use but, toilets blocked. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone as fast food restaurants must be very fast pace and tidy to use specially when all services are charged a fee.

the facility is terrible. I have never experienced such horror in my life, especially in the center of a European city, the CAPITAL!!! Terrible service, extra charge for tea glasses, extra charge for toilet too. I ordered tea, a third of the glass was poured. I ordered a coke, it was delivered with ice in the middle of winter. Ice is more than a drink. The floor is dirty and sticky, the tables are dirty, napkins were not served. There are only homeless people around, it feels like you will be robbed. Nuggets taste like without meat. There are not enough potatoes. There is too much mustard in the burger, and in general the patty is very thin, and the bun is too thick. The stairs are steep and wet. it feels like it hasn't been cleaned here for years. The waiter does not speak clearly, he needs to learn English. The toilets are very dirty. Terribly dirtier, less atmospheric affair. The worst BK I have ever visited. At 5pm the floors are sticky, dirty tables, toilet clogged and so dirty. Paid 35 euros for 2 meals and 1.60 for the use of a bizarrely dirty toilet.

Supposed to be opened at 11:00 but still not open at 11:30. Asked them why, they did not respond. Also, last time I came, they refused to scan back my reusable cup when I asked them to do so because the machine was not giving me back my deposit. I had to fight with one of the cashier and bring the manager for them to refund me my cups.

You ask without cheese and get cheese, you ask for fanta and get coke, you ask for twister fries and get regular fries. It's fine that they speak English because they can't speak Dutch, but make sure they understand English so they can take the order. It would also be nice if they spoke louder, if they whisper no one can understand.

The biggest scam of all time... Machine so unclear that we end up with just a burger (no fries or drink). Toilets paying for customers (even for just washing their hands). And of course no hydroalcoholic gel available in distributors. Cleanliness of the premises more than doubtful. Veg Whopprr Jr. Taste so delicious and fresh. The plant based itself grilled very well done. Love it! Also, it is worth mentioning that the idea of paying an extra 1 euro for reusable cups is excellent and environmentally well since you can return your reusable cup back once you finish and refund your 1 euro back! It is such a great idea for a green, safe environment. The sad is that the table was not cleaned and a lot of sofa in the ground and seating area, which makes me a little upset 🥲

Orderd two hamburgers to go. Had them thrown on a plastic tray. When asked to have a bag, no answer, just somebody throwing the bag on the counter and leaving again.

They gave me, a vegetarian, real bacon on my veggie ordered meal and then I had to ask my friend to taste it because of how suspicious I was. Then there’s my sundae, which had blocks of solid ice cream and bark in it and the sauce was just really bad. Overall not a great experience.
