Burger King in Grachtengordel-Zuid

I don't understand this Burger King's billing system. Paying €1 for a plastic cup, paying €1 to use a dirty toilet with an uncleaned bowl and floor...it's a disgrace

The food wasn't great, the chicken wasn't crispy, the fries were bland, and the sauce cost €1 and the toilets €2. If you're used to Burger King in France, you'll be disappointed by the burgers and the high prices. The meal deal is €13.50 + €0.95 (drink) + €1 (small packet of ketchup). Also, the guy in the kitchen seemed to be working alone. And the fries were awful.

The food was cold, it seemed like it was from yesterday, I had to go to the toilet right after! Terrible food.

No air conditioning and 31°, no fun eating your meal here in peace. Killed everything quickly to get out into the cool air as soon as possible, barely enjoyed the food.

First and last time. It's expensive, and you're forced to order large drinks because there aren't any medium ones. The plastic cup has a €1 deposit; to return it, you have to wait at the counter, then put it in a machine, and only then enter the code on a special website—a tedious process just to get your €1 back. Even if you pay €50 for your family, the toilets aren't accessible; you have to pay the exorbitant sum of €1 just to wash your hands after eating greasy food with your bare hands. Outrageous. The hamburgers were all overcooked and dry, the fries were incredibly salty, and the drinks were just ice cubes. Disappointing.

Awful! If you have a choice, avoid going there!! The meat is overcooked, the bread is dry, the restaurant is dirty, the tables aren't clean, and don't even get me started on the toilets. I wasted my money at this place.

Very disappointing experience. Yesterday I was able to buy the €1.50 Cheeseburger and Chicken Burger after 10 p.m. at this same Burger King. Today, an employee refused to sell them, claiming they can’t be sold after 10 p.m., even though there is no sign or notice anywhere mentioning this policy. The more expensive burgers were still available. If this is a real policy, customers should be informed clearly. If not, the staff need better training. Very inconsistent and frustrating.

When we were at this Burger King, it looked okay, but when you went inside, it wasn't so good. There is also very little staff. When we ate at Burger King, it was very stuffy and not clean. The dining room smelled a bit like poop. When you return a cup, you have to put it in a machine, but that didn't work, so you have to wait a long time until a member of staff can help you.

Last night at the worst Burger King ever, ordered a Big King XXL, got just a bun without sauce. SHAMEFUL. What a place, always something wrong and fries always cold. I WILL NEEEEEVER COME HERE AGAIN, a real waste of money. I love Burger King but I am really never coming to this branch again. I gave it a chance every time but this is the last straw.

I'll be blunt, the security guard with braids and dark skin is a jerk. He's uncomfortable with customers and just wants trouble. He does his job badly. I was eating my burger and he kept staring at me. How awkward.

One star is too much for this place. The wait was terribly long and unjustified, but the biggest issue was the staff's attitude, which lacked basic respect and professionalism. I will never visit again

The floor was sticky. The cup recycling machines were either broken or turned off. The Dutch are truly ingenious. The receipts from the cup recycling machines can only be refunded to a Dutch bank card. Unbelievable!

The food is just fine if you are a fan of fast food. The burgers are tasty.

Disappointing experience The burger was rubbery, and I didn't like the atmosphere. I was unfortunate enough to witness a 10-minute episode of an out-of-control guy yelling and disturbing everyone, even entering the women's bathroom.

The toilet was paid for, although we already had the receipt for the order we were waiting for, we had to pay extra. Very dirty both in the toilet and upstairs where the tables are.

Well, it's what you'd expect from a burger place: fast food, decent in terms of flavor, though certainly not nutritionally. But hey, they're fast, haha. The only downside is that you have to pay extra to use the bathroom, which I find shameful, but oh well, that's how it is in the Netherlands.

The system failed, meaning my payment went through but no order was created. I explained this to them with the proof in the banking app and was then ignored multiple times. I was only helped after 10 minutes. I will definitely not be coming back here.

Dear All, I am writing unto you because I had a detrimental experience in the Burger King at Reguliersbreestraat on February 16th 2026. I ordered an ice cream and tried to plug my phone . There were several plugs that were not operating and after a while the manager asked me to leave. I asked him which paragraph in the policy I did not follow. He told me that I was moving around in his store even though there was only one plug which was operating. He called the police in Damrak and they asked me to leave. Even though the fast food does not have a policy, the police officers in Damrak asked me to leave in front of all customers. They couldn’t care less, have bad attitude and seemed pissed off to be at work. First they didn’t have the ingredients for what I ordered and when they told me they said “we don’t have it” and just stared at me blankly before offering a cheaper option with no refund or fix whatsoever. The chicken burger only had one tomato and a few lettuce leaves, and the chicken was completely burnt. Total disappointment. For the price, I think they should serve something better, since they post photos of their products and in reality it's not what it seems.

On November 5, 2025, approximately one hour after consuming the Long Chicken, I became ill, experiencing nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. The following day, after returning to Istanbul, where I reside, I visited a hospital. Blood tests were performed, and it was determined that I had suffered from food poisoning. Has anyone else reported food poisoning after consuming a chicken burger on that date?

What a horror! The food was okay, although my son's fries were cold. And the service was okay, though it's not great at BK. But the restaurant was absolutely filthy! The floor was sticky, the tables were dirty, the air conditioning was cold, the music was too loud, and last but not least, we had to pay €1.50 for the toilet, which went through a gate that turned the wrong way and looked like a prison toilet. All in all, a terrible experience. Far too expensive, and far too dirty. I'll definitely never come back.

The worst Burger King I've ever been to. I asked about the bathroom before eating, and the lady at the counter told me where it was. When I got there, it was a paid bathroom. I asked the lady if we would have to pay even after eating there, and she replied with the utmost arrogance, "Everywhere here you have to pay for the bathroom. If you don't know, ask around." But we had been to cafes before and hadn't paid. Besides that, we all felt a bit upset in our stomachs a few hours later.

If I could put 0 stars I would. Not only did they mess up the order three separate times and refuse to give extra sauce that was PAID for, but I got food poisoning from them. The employees are horrid, treating customers like trash and not taking any complaint seriously.

I paid 1€ to enter the restroom, and the floor was completely flooded, with feces near the brush. I told the employee, and he replied: "Yeah, ok. In the men's room?" The walls in the hall are smeared with a century-old ketchup. The food was also unsuccessful.

If you have to pay for the restroom in a restaurant and a deposit is taken from your drink cup and it won't be returned, you know that this Burger King is a public restroom in the guise of a fast food restaurant. Overall me and my friends had a good experience here, however ordering was a bit of a cultural shock for us. I don't understand why the price for a menu is higher than buying everything separately when you need to pay extra money for fries and soda anyways. The food was good, serving was nice but the garlic sauce is the worst we've tried.

I ordered "Big King" but when it arived, I saw it wasn't even "Small Queen" in size. Some black people were already sitting in dine in and one of them was throwing up all over the place, in toilet, in hall and eventually by the table. One of the worst places I have ever been to eat. The only good thing was that chocolate milkshake.
