Contrary to the reviews, the burger and fries were okay. We've had worse and paid twice as much.

There was absolutely no one, me and 2 friends were very hungry so we went inside. We ordered a burger with fries for 14.50! I myself had to pay 1.50 extra for some onions, when the burger arrived it looked like a cafeteria burger but worse. The burger was small and the meat was terribly dry, the fries were wet not crispy and very greasy, terrible place never come back!!!

WORST BURGER EVER stingy portion 5 euros for 10 fries dry burger little and nasty sauce almost no lettuce. Cheese was 2 euros no choice for tomato. We had ordered a large burger but it was the same size as a small one

The ambience is okay, the service is okay. We should have paid attention to the reviews beforehand. 170 reviews - 2 stars. That speaks for itself. The burger without real sauce, without salad - very bad. The fries aren't cooked through - how do you do that in a deep fryer? Don't go to this store unless he's the only one open. Then go in to look at the map. Then please go outside again. McDonald’s will definitely still be open.

Probably the worst burger I’ve ever had. That alone certainly would not cause me to leave a bad review…. While sitting in the restaurant, which I came in for a quick, cheap burger and to use the washroom, I witnessed a black woman and son come into the restaurant and ask if they could use the washroom. The owner replied “no, it’s for customers only”. Fair enough. The woman than said she would buy a Coca Cola, “owner said no you can go somewhere else”, woman said “what if I buy a burger”, owner: “no, go somewhere else”. The woman and her son left, seemingly confused as to what just happened. The couple sitting at a table next to me then went to pay their bill, believe it was about 10€. Then at the til the owner says “minimum 20€ for card payment”. Owner tells them they have to buy more in order to pay with card. The couple then orders two beers to make the “minimum amount”. This policy was not posted anywhere, at least certainly not anywhere easily visible and was not mentioned to them prior to order. After this, I got up to pay. I asked the owner what happened with the woman and her son. He said “the washroom is only for customers, lots of people in Amsterdam central try to do drugs in businesses washrooms” I said “they said they would buy a drink or burger, you think this woman and her probably 8 year old son are coming to do drugs in the bathroom in the middle of the day?”. The owner told me “it’s their business and not my business, they choose the policies, so stop asking questions” and then told me to leave (I was already paying to leave). This behaviour struck me as racially provoked, as I, a white man, came in 30 minutes prior and did the exact thing - bought a burger and used the washroom. But when this black woman and son tried to do the same thing, they were turned away promptly. By the way, guess the minimum 20€ spend didn’t apply to me as I paid with card despite a 10€ bill. But I guess “they’re the owners, and they choose the policies”. I told them as I was leaving that it was the worst burger I’ve ever had. Wish I saw the reviews before I came in, make sense that they’re rated 2 stars, when the minimum I’ve seen for almost anyplace in Amsterdam is 4 stars. This place hasn’t been around long and I suspect they won’t last much longer. Bad food. Disgusting behaviour. Shady business.

The food is very basic, and absurdly expensive, just don't go in to eat. So basic food, expensive for no reason, just don't come here for dinner or lunch.

We entered without reading the reviews and we regretted it, after this review and what we saw they deserve to close. There was a MOUSE walking between our tables, too bad we noticed it after we finished eating. After pointing it out they told us that it is normal and that they are present in all restaurants. It's funny but that's what they told us.

Terrible restaurant. Abusive prices (33cl bottle of water for €4, like Pepsi). The boss poured the ice into the glasses with his hand, after having wiped the dust off the counter with it. He doesn't serve the entire can of soda, just part of it and uses the rest for another customer. The cook uses the leftover potatoes to put them in other dishes. Unfortunate, one of the worst in Amsterdam. I don't recommend it at all.

It was some drama. We were dragged off the street. We entered but were wondering whether to eat here or move on. We saw the menu and I said that we had to make arrangements with the third friend who was outside. The owner laughed in my face. Drama!! Before we sat down we were kicked out!! The owner told us to order drinks before half of us were undressed! The words "easy" infuriated him and he said that we should leave the place! What a madman!

The worst service, atmosphere and way to treat someone that me and my family have ever experienced! I would like to give no star at all, unfortunately that's not possible. We would be pushed to order drinks even though we weren't actually sitting at the table yet, my friend hadn't even arrived yet, still had his jacket on, after we said that we needed a moment we were told there wasn't a table for us and we left the restaurant. Eating here has been a disappointment of unprecedented proportions, I have never experienced anything like it, I would have given 2 stars as we did not feel bad about the food, but that should not be a stamp of quality of the restaurant hence 1 star. Water is served in the bottle, there are no glasses, crockery or napkins when you are served your burger on a plastic plate, however, the napkins came later, as we were also offered to buy some dip for our fries. The dip was small oblong bags with mayonnaise in them, and can be quite difficult to open. The food we were served to 3 people consisted of the cheapest supermarket bought ingredients, and was extremely disappointingly prepared and put together. The basic burger without toppings really only consists of a ground beef or baked chicken of some kind, in addition there is a small hint of a salad and dressing combination under the steak. I chose to order a large chicken burger, but my friends chose respectively a large and a medium beef burger, with no visible difference apart from a Dutch flag on the "large" burger. The arrangement of the plate was, however, noticeably well thought out, a burger by itself comes on a round plate (albeit plastic), and if you buy fries for it, you get it served on a rectangular plate to create a dimension to the meal. The service was... present, the waiter seems comfortable with the situation of the restaurant, but the chef or the owner of the place was in a completely parallel universe, he openly ignores the sad atmosphere with which the customers both enter and leave the restaurant, on the other hand, he is very interested in being your friend, and can say thank you in any language when you are on your way out the door. The atmosphere and decoration of the restaurant was dull to say the least, there are 2 pictures of some fries above the kitchen, and some surprisingly nice illustrations of burgers and other edible combinations. As none of us ordered dishes other than the burger and fries, I can't comment on the other offerings on the menu, but the 2 very quiet guys sitting right next to us in an otherwise empty restaurant had an untouched plate of chicken nuggets and fries left on the table when they left. All in all, the whole episode was so negatively affecting that an otherwise fantastic day in Amsterdam was now unfairly damaged, we have basically talked about nothing else since we left, the interest in continuing in the city and seeing sights had now completely disappeared and we turned back to our accommodation. At BURGERS XXX MIX GRILL, it looks like an average burger restaurant, but the only thing it shares with the others is the price and the seating, the food served is what you would expect from a grill bar, too bad it's just significantly worse, but such places become you at least offered crockery and napkins. My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined.

Worst burger I've ever eaten. In particular, the meat and the sauce were extremely bad, as was the roll that came out of the packaging. The fries were also quite soggy and unsalted. There was a lot of rubbish next to our table and the service also left a lot to be desired. The whole thing was rounded off with a stomach ache and everything was also quite overpriced.

I went with my friends, I had to use the toilet, we got blackmailed that we can't leave until we buy drinks, even though my friends already got drinks. The cheapest thing on the menu was a tea, I ordered and they said the tea machine broke. Are you kidding me. Avoid this place at all costs. They will try to get money out of you any way possible.

Ich finde viele der hier gemachten Rezensionen nicht gerecht bzw. habe ganz andere Erfahrungen gemacht: Ambiente etwas ruppig, aber leckere Burger in der Klasse zwischen Fastfood und Restaurant. Karte ist etwas "Baukasten", aber passt und man weiß vorher, was man bezahlt. Bedienung nicht überschwänglich, aber freundlich und in allen Sprachen sehr um die Gäste bemüht.

Essen war in Ordnung, die Pommes könnten etwas kroscher sein. Die Chilisauce ist super lecker 😋

It's a small place,so we didn't expect too much. We were pleasantly surprised! The waiter is really nice,and the burgers were delicious. Yes,you have to order and pay extra for toppings,but it was well worth it. Definitely recommend trying it for yourself,if you're in Amsterdam!

Hat gut geschmeckt, freundliche und lustige Bedienung. Salatbeilage liegt separat auf dem Teller, sodass man sich den Burger mit Salat selber belegen kann/muss. Modern eingerichtet, es gibt auch eine kleine Dachterrasse.
