Burger King in Bijlmer Centrum (D,F,H)

The cheese wasn't melted, everything was lukewarm, and the drinks were fine. They forgot the fries. We even had a visit from a beggar who started begging throughout the restaurant. People behind the counter don't speak Dutch, but that's just the location. We didn't have to wait long for our food.

Poor service. Inexperienced staff, half of whom didn't even speak Dutch and didn't know how to act. No proper receipt with an order number. The place was dirty and messy. They didn't have the full selection. Coupons couldn't be scanned or registered, so no points were added to the BK app. Menu changes weren't possible either. The manager was also rude and unhelpful. The list goes on.

Just a simple, small location. The food was in October. The only downside was that after receiving our menus, we saw there was a special offer on Red Bull. When we asked about this, we were told we would have to order a menu. When we pointed to our menus, the response remained the same. A bit of a shame, but it was what it was.

Terrible service, got entire order wrong, and had audacity to try to charge to correct it. In addition to Charge for every single sauce packet is crazy work.

Terrible. Person can’t speak Dutch, only English. And the. Doesn’t understand the difference between extra jalepenos and no jalepenos. Awful, don’t spend your money here

Every time I go there with a coupon they always find an excuse to not give me the discounted/free stuff. I Just can't help but ask myself what coupons are for, then.

If you want to eat at this Burger King, just order a Whopper. Because if you order anything else... you'll be waiting half an hour.

The cheerfulness is absolutely palpable, ahem. They only speak broken English, and the burgers were cold before they even hit the table. They don't even know what they're giving you, and you miss half of it, so you have to keep going back for the rest. What a mess. This was my first and last time at the Burger King in the Arena.

The Google reviews made us a little hesitant, but we decided to give it a try anyway. We totally regret that. We were there on a Sunday afternoon around 12:45. Super clean. Nice music in the background (not too loud, which was really nice). The service was prompt and friendly (just in Dutch). They don't have a computerized pickup system; they simply write your number on the receipt and call out your number when the order is ready: the system works perfectly. When ordering, we ordered individual chicken nuggets, fries, and a menu with drinks (without sauce). Once at the table, I noticed that mayo had been added to the menu (which I didn't mind). When the order was ready, they had two drinks ready. We were about to give them back when the employee came over to us to notice that we had an extra drink; but she said, "Keep it, enjoy." That was very kind. (She did speak English at the time, but it wasn't annoying at all.) The fries were delicious, really well-fried. The Wopper and chicken nuggets are also absolutely fantastic. I don't understand the bad reviews: maybe it's just bad luck. The only downside: there's no restroom. (Although I personally find the restrooms at fast-food chains often very dirty...)

Coupons are almost never accepted, even though the terms and conditions state that they should work.

We haven't had such bad fast food in years. 6 chicken nuggets with curly fries. Ordering isn't possible in Dutch, which makes it impersonal. But the price-quality ratio is appalling. €8 is incredibly high. Never again Burger King. Tip: Management: make sure they have Dutch-speaking staff.

Incredibly rude customer service. Wanted to ask for some water for someone that was dehydrated, was told that they don't sell water and that I would have to order it (how does that make any sense). And immediately after the cashier yelled NEXT. The Heineken bar on the other side of the plaza was kind enough to give us some water.

Great Burger King at the station! The staff is usually friendly, but not always. The only thing missing is a restroom, but there's one in the station, so that's not a big deal. The atmosphere is good, and there's plenty of seating! Note: coupons don't work here; you have to go to a different Burger King restaurant for those, but otherwise, it's great!

What complete chaos. Yes, it's late at night, but there was another employee who could help or open another register while two less-than-pleasant customers were yelling at the only cashier. Now a lot of other people have no food. Thanks.

Service at Bijlmer Arena today was extremely poor; it was crowded. There were two employees at the ticket counter, probably new to the line, who needed help with everything. Absolutely terrible. The manager who was there was also confused; we had to switch lines, which meant we had to stand at the back of a new line.

It's a very busy area, and they don't have self-service machines. It's very small, and we waited in line for over 30 minutes. When I got to the cheesy chicken bacon option I chose, the cashier told me he'd only get what was in the ads behind him. So I didn't know what to order anymore, and I was really annoyed rushing around. Terrible service.

The worst Burger King in the Netherlands. Terrible service. We ordered one thing, and they gave us everything they wanted. We tried to order a separate coupon, but they didn't give us anything. They charged us for a large meal without us asking. They treated us rudely and as if it was our fault when the girl did what she wanted. If you don't like working, don't work there. Burger King's facilities from the 2000s are terrible.

I had a coupon for a burger, coke, and fries, but I don't drink soda, so I asked Nancy if I could exchange it for a bottle of water, or even tap water. And that wasn't an option. How professional!

All the furniture here is dirty. The staff is rude. They speak little Dutch or English. I received the wrong food, and it was cold.

This place used to be a good one, but now the service is total trash... I went twice today, they were so slow that I left to the cinema. I came 2 hours later to still get food and try again, the lady on one cashier stopped taking orders, and the other lady continued to take orders, everyone broke the queue and got nearly to the back when I was second, not wasting my time and mental sanity for a trashy burger... Hope the place gets better, as it used to with other workers...

Nothing special, I had to eat something before visiting the Arena. Communication with the staff was difficult; they only spoke English.

I would like to congrat the company for hiring employees with such politeness and sense of care for guests.we had a meal and Mavis,I think is her name,was the sweetest most caring person.she was watching me waiting for my friend and asked if I needed take away and to check if my fries were still warm so to replace them. Congrats Burger King.i hope you take care of employees like them.

The cashier doesn't even look you in the eye and doesn't say anything, the tables are dirty and there is no toilet.

A very impolite person behind the counter, she did not know what they had on the menu. Asked for a vegetarian cheese burger... Replied we don't have that. Then she walked away from her register, came back and said something we couldn't even understand what she said and got annoyed.

We went there around 12:30 p.m. for lunch and the backpack of one of our friends got stolen within a fraction of a second. Firstly, they don't have a washroom and secondly, you have to pick up your food. So, I would not recommend it to anyone who is traveling alone. We were 3 people and we asked about the washroom. They said they don't have it and two of us left for the washroom and one of our friends was there. He went to pick up the food the backpack got stolen. We sat even very close to the reception. We asked them. They said they have CC TV cameras but will not show us & they simply don't seem bothered about the matter which happens inside the restaurant. I will never ever go there!

My bag was stolen while I was just picking up the order. Just a minute of in attendance and in a place with all the CCTV cameras. The cameras are no good and even the site manager does not have access to it. The staff was fully unhelpful to even help us find a proper place to complain or help us with anything!! Burger King seems den for thieves! How can a person go there to eat if the bags are not even safe for a minute!

Biggest rip-off... not recommended.

My burger was “freezing” cold and for sure not freshly made! The frites was warm.. The music was so high felt like being in a night club!

Chicken nuggets were cold, dry, and not crispy really bad. I asked for new chicken nuggets but they were just as bad!! Burgers were tasty.

The food here is mediocre to bad. And the service is mediocre furniture is outdated. And the atmosphere is not desirable. The fries are Undercooked. I know that Burger King fries are not very well known for quality. But I have never had it that bad. The staff was friendly. Just not honest. I wanted to use a coupon but then they just placed the order without the coupon and said that the coupon had been added. I only saw the infamous note later that coupons are not accepted. Because of the perpetual event. So I just accepted it the discount is not that exuberant. The staff also did not give me a receipt. And when it is ready they call out a number as if I need to know what my order number is without a receipt... She was sweet enough to walk over to me to tell me that it was ready! I appreciate that! By the way, I will not mention any names because I do not think it is the fault of the staff but the management. You just expect a certain standard and it is not delivered. That is a shame!

Already a bad feeling ... not really a "king", staff more busy singing and dancing with each other .. I had long chicken chicken .. was not really warm .. half eaten .. I thought it tasted bad .. no toilet available .. on the way back home I was able to enjoy the chicken again .. everything was thrown up I think it was spoiled .. ... burger King this branch you have a lot to improve

I had the intention to come here weekly, but at random times there are events here, so I can't order food using a coupon. I used to come here for the price difference, because their food is not the best. There is no way for me to check ahead of time when they are changing the availability of discounted meals. I would say this is a disservice to their returning customers. The food isn't worth it to me without the discount. And the disservice demotivates me to come back.

It was clean but the food was cold, you didn’t ask for the drink but just gave cola. Tracy was very unfriendly. Maybe it’s because we’re foreigners.

Today I was served by Ibrahim. Despite the long line, he was working alone but handled everything professionally. I received my food very quickly, and he was very kind—thank you to him!

Burgers are pre-packed en masse. The big king was not ready in the warming shelf so they don't sell it...separately. Staff is very curt and looks past you into the depths. Long chicken cheese was virtually lettuce-free, lukewarm and extremely salty. Crispyness was missing due to the slathering of sauce on both sides. Fries were good. No toilet.

this was an absolutely awful experience. i never leave bad reviews but this was too much, even for me. i had to wait 30 minutes!!!! when i was second in line to order because the woman in front of me wanted a discount and nobody thought to open another register, even though the line was getting longer and longer. and as if that wasn’t bad enough there was another 15 minute wait for my 6 chili cheese nuggets. the staff was rude and barely spoke english or dutch, you could see everyone was working very slowly and they were very understaffed because the only person at the register kept walking away to make drinks etc. which made the lines LONGER and LONGER. idk why so many people come here, everything is so outdated, it felt like i time-travelled to 2016 and there was no touch screen to order. if you are thinking about getting food here, think again, the mcdonalds is a million times better. when i buy fast food i expect FAST food.

This girl name “Peace” is so lazy!!! Trying to order a loaded fries and told me they don’t serve it after 17:00 but literally buying it almost everyday later then 17:00 or 23:00. If you have this lazy crew better just fire her than lying to costumer! It’s so disgusting.

DO NOT GO HERE! We wanted to have something to eat before a concert. But even the standard Burger King coupons cannot be used here and the staff is not friendly at all.

Absolutely the worst burger king I've ever eaten at, I've been visiting for years and it just seems to get worse and worse as more time goes by. They never have the regular menu, always hiding behind this BS "event" menu, if there's any kind of event nearby, which happens a lot so the regular burger king menu is almost never available. Which makes sense after I learned this isn't a real burger king, but a franchiser, whoever owns this store is just trying to maximise profits, which is why the nonsense "event" menu is used almost continuously; this allows them to just pre-make a very small selection of the burgers and have them sitting there for who knows how long for immediate access. And talking about the burgers that are just sitting there, they don't give a DAMN about ALLERGENS, I've often asked for a burger with a topping removed, and instead of just making a fresh one, they literally took one of the burgers that was already sitting there going stale, opened it, removed the topping and gave it to me, WHAT THE HELL?! I feel like I should just report this to a health inspector, because it's just crazy how little regard the staff there has for allergies, it's all profit-profit-profit, fast-fast-fast and everything else can go to hell. The staff is also just incredibly rude, none of them feel like they want to be there and none of them speak Dutch, and even worse they get annoyed with you if they can't understand what you're saying! How is that possible?? Must be another cost-cutting franchiser decision, simply can't believe there's any other reason why everybody taking orders can't speak Dutch. When the BS "event" menu is up they won't even serve you anything but large fries, even if you can clearly see they have fries containers for every size, EVEN WORSE if you ask them well ok just put the medium fries in the large fries container, they'll still just completely dead-eyed look at you and say "no only large fries"....it's mindboggling how awful the service is as well. I guess Burger King's "Have it your way" campaign/slogan is long dead at this place, if it ever lived in the first place. So yeah definitely go eat here if you want to have your order taken by someone who's incredibly rude, who will serve you an old stale burger that's been sitting there for who knows how long and might give you an allergic reaction because they didn't make you a fresh one. 👍

Hopefully Burger King will reimburse my menu. Was almost home and the bottom of the bag falls out with food and all. The bottom of the bag was completely soaked with cola. Would like to teach the staff Dutch. I'm not a fan of ordering in English. Plus I came home to discover that the fries weren't there. Coke leaked from the bottom of the cup. The whoppers were stale. It has really become a drama in the last few months. It is time to renovate and start working with columns. And don't make me wait 10 minutes. I just have a messenger message to head office today. The question is when it will be renovated. Had to wait almost 20 minutes today. The coke and the whoppers were neither drinkable nor edible. And you pay 6 euros for that. I think I'll be sick again tomorrow. I ran away last Saturday. 2 people behind the cash register for orders. The line was outside on the side of the cinema. 2/16/2025. I don't know if there is ever any management involved at this BK, what rude staff works here! I was waiting to be helped, the lady behind the cash register was very irritated, and all she could say was "COME" and then mumbled uninterestedly and took the order, almost unintelligible because of the mumbling. Then I see in the kitchen how the ingredients are thrown onto the sandwich with my bare hands (for God's sake, put on gloves or something). No more BK here for me for the time being. Ps, too bad for the very nice and enthusiastic girl who said hello in a friendly manner, I hope you get some nicer colleagues soon!

The worker named Marie, on November 26, finishing the Kygo concert at 11 pm, we went to order food with coupons and the very rude woman told us that snacks were not served because it was full, no ice cream or anything, and ONLY she I could order the Large menu, the small or medium one, he refused and told us that it was like that at that time and that if we didn't like it we could leave. So we were forced to pay even the extra for long term coupon. Very strange and in a bad way, he could have said that they had run out of snacks or something like that. Bad experience. Horrible service and I work in a cafeteria facing the public in the same country and as a manager of a place like that I would never do that. Don't go.

Fine. They do not have a deposit for cups, but they do charge a plastic surcharge on their products without there being an alternative. Quite a few seats and relatively clean. The staff cannot speak Dutch, but they are friendly and helpful. No toilets available. Nice music.

The food and service are ok, like most Burger Kings. For the location and general traffic it is a bit crowded, specially considering it does not have self order, just order and pay at the counter, slowing the process.

Disgusting place. A bored woman with chewing gum takes your order without any zest for life in a dirty, crowded tent. Food weak but still warm. My wife ordered vegetarian and got a meat burger. When we indicated, we received a huge attitude from the chewing gum woman who blamed her for ordering incorrectly (as if my wife forgets to be vegetarian after years). The meat burger was rudely thrown into the trash and with visible envy a new one was made. A pathetic tent.

This Burger King always used to accept the vouchers in the Burger King App, but now they refuse to accept any Burger King coupons anymore and only allow you to order from the menu on the wall. i think this is just a money-making scheme. I will never buy here again without being able to use the app coupons.

Just 10 minutes ago at 10:45 PM I wanted to order a Whopper (without onions), the person behind the cash register said that the kitchen staff did not do this and that they were closing and there were no curly fries either. While no effort was made to remove onions to leave a burger and now I see that they do not close at 11 o'clock but at 12 o'clock, so they also lie, this is very scandalous, but I left without ordering.

Looked great but there was barely any lettuce on my burger and hardly any sauce. The lady behind the counter was a bit rude.
