The staff is very rude. They walk around shouting at you. I understand it's busy, but just act normal.

After paying over €50, they want to charge me for washing my hands and peeing. Disgraceful. I'll never set foot in a McDonald's again.

As a wheelchair user, you cannot enter there independently, nor can you get out independently. At the neighbors', you can. Same street, different philosophy.

We waited 25 minutes for our coffee. There was no one at the coffee machine, while the staff were just standing around doing nothing. We asked several times about our order and were told that it was being prepared. When we asked another staff member about our order, they finally went to the machine and started making it. Absolutely terrible service.

Imagine dropping 30 euros on lunch here and having to pay extra for going to the bathroom. Shameful

I'm not joking when I'm writing this but this is by far the worst McDonald's experience I've had by a long shot. Not only is the place dirty (table & chairs), expensive too (1 Mcflurry + 2 sundays 12€) but the people at the counter delivering the orders were the most careless employees ever. Orders randomly ready to be picked up on the screen, multiple in fact, and when asked they say just wait for the number to be called. In fact, I saw with my own eyes that our ice creams that we ordered were sitting on idle at the counter melting. I wasn't the only one confused with the way orders are supposed to be picked up neither was it the correct way.

The food was disgusting and sticky. The staff were grumpy and I had to pay another 2 euros for the toilet... don't come here! My child was sick the next day.

Dirty, worn, and a strange concept ⭐⭐ Our visit to McDonald’s at Nieuwendijk 212 was unfortunately not a very positive one. The restaurant seemed quite run-down overall and, above all, not very clean. This unfortunately extended to the restrooms. They charge €1 to use the toilet. We generally have no problem paying for a clean restroom. However, during our visit, the restrooms were dirty, smelled unpleasant, and generally gave a rather neglected impression. We couldn't understand why they charged extra for this. Even stranger was the information about the 50-cent voucher that can be redeemed with your purchase. However, you only find out about this when you want to use the restroom. If you – like us – have already ordered and eaten, it's of little use. A clearly visible notice before ordering would be much more customer-friendly. We also found the packaging incomprehensible. Although the restaurant has plenty of seating and we ate in, our order was served in a paper bag, like takeaway. We don't understand why an additional paper bag is necessary when eating in, on top of the already considerable packaging waste. Overall, the restaurant seemed neglected and poorly organized. Especially given its central location and high foot traffic, we expected a better experience. 2 out of 5 stars from us. ⭐⭐

I only ate ice cream there, but it was very dirty inside. There was trash on the floor. The toilet, which cost one euro, wasn't properly clean and smelled awful.

i thought the food was good for mcdonalds, especially when compared to american mcd. was nice that they did have options from around the world menus. tried the cheese empanada and a burger that was like a croquette but i forgot the name. i did think the people working were a tad rude though, but not sure if thats a cultural difference.

It was quite busy, but we didn't have to wait. Plenty of seating. However, many were left dirty, and the trash can was overflowing, so you couldn't dispose of your waste. Toilets are not free, not even for customers.

The food was like any other McDonald's, BUT the restrooms were a nightmare. You had to pay for the cramped facilities and the long wait. It was only €1, so that's not the issue, but it's very unusual and also rather rude to have to pay for using the restrooms when you're eating there. The McDonald's had three floors, and I think they should consider adding a baby changing room or a changing area. While I was waiting, there were at least three mothers changing their children on a very small sink, which, of course, didn't smell very nice, but that's neither the baby's nor the mother's fault! You could barely squeeze into the stall and had to step over the toilet to open or close the door, so it was really bad!

Bad rating here. Chaos behind the counter, no control over orders. Unhygienic, long wait times and many irritated customers.

Of the three floors it has, the bottom one was occupied and the two above were overflowing with trash on all the tables and the floor, a couple of drunk customers were sleeping and only one guy was cleaning as best he could and a woman was handing out orders.

They mark orders as ready on the board, and then you have to wait another fifteen minutes. Apparently, it is necessary to keep the delivery speed artificially high. While waiting, there were also many people with incorrect or incomplete orders.

This is the worst McDonald's of my life! And I eat at McDonald's at least once a week. I travel a lot and always make sure to try McDonald's in every country I visit. The wait was extremely long because the staff works very slowly. On top of that, they made my order wrong! They put tomatoes instead of apples, and two cheeseburgers were completely missing from my order. I can't do anything about it because they took my receipt!

The place is very loud but has lots of seating places in a nice spacial layout. There's also a toilet for 1€pp but it's dirty as heck, there was no soap at the sinks either.

We waited a very long time for our order and the service was very poor. When we pointed out that items were missing, we were not believed and were not given the missing items. A very frustrating experience.

So, we just drank something, but the place was pretty dirty. When I went to the bathroom, that costs 1 euro, there was a man, that rudely told me to put the coin inside the machine and stared a me the whole time i did it. While i was in line (because it's written to go one at the time, but the guy let a lot of people in at the same moment) he kept coming in (in the Women's Bathroom) and stare at us with an angry face. In conclusion, the bathroom was dirty too.

I don't understand why in most McDonald's in Europe you have to pay to use the restroom even if you've bought and eaten there. This is one of them.

Door was open so I went in and ordered. After I had completed the order, a rude, flop of an employee abused me and said, Can't you see we're not open because of the stock in the doorway. Absolute Gronk of a person with no social skills whatsoever.

We ordered online. Then we waited 45 minutes, after which we messaged customer service. Eventually, we couldn't text anything back. After that, we wanted to cancel the order, but they are no longer responding. Via phone and message. TERRIBLE.

I waited 50 minutes for coffee. The coffee was tasteless. They simply forgot about my order. Many people left without ordering. Horrible. Fire everyone. Disaster.

I recently visited the McDonald's in Amsterdam and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. I ordered an ice cream and ended up waiting around 30 minutes without receiving it. During that time, I went to the takeout desk three times to ask about my order. The first time, I was told it would be coming soon, which I understood. However, after waiting another 15 minutes with no update, I returned to the desk twice more. Both times, staff briefly looked at my receipt but did not provide any information or acknowledgment, which felt quite dismissive. After waiting the full 30 minutes without receiving my order or any clear communication, I decided to leave. I understand that it can get busy, but clearer communication and basic customer service would have made a big difference. I hope this feedback helps improve the experience for future customers.

It's disappointing to be a customer and have to pay €1 to use the restroom. Aren't they ashamed? They're ripping people off, and then you spend money and you expect to use the restroom... This doesn't happen in other countries like Spain.

​I was served burgers that were clearly reheated and stale. When I complained, the woman at the counter was incredibly rude. She snapped at me, saying they were too busy for the food to be "preheated" (which didn't even make sense). I eat McDonald's often enough to know when the chicken tastes like a microwaved leftover and when the arugula is wilted and old. ​After a struggle, she gave me a replacement, but this time it became suddenly better. To top it off, the fries were a tiny portion, and they gave us sweet chili sauce instead of the ketchup we asked for. When I tried to swap the sauce, she got aggressive again. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Worst Mcdonalds I have ever seen around the world!! I waited 25 minutes for my order, they are not even answering your question, I left there without getting my order!! It's chaos there, hundreds of customers are waiting and only one impolite person is delivering foods!!

The restaurant has a modern design, but in practice the place feels poorly maintained. The seating area was dirty, with food leftovers and trash not properly cleared, and the overall organization was lacking. Service was also disappointing. The staff appeared unmotivated and the interaction was not very friendly, which negatively affects the experience, even for a fast-food restaurant. The operation felt disorganized, with delays and little attention to customers. Considering the usual McDonald’s standards in Europe, this location was well below expectations. Improvements are needed in both cleanliness and customer service.

I ordered a coffee and a menu. The coffee tasted like brewed coffee, but it was watered down. The service was terrible. I ordered food inside, but they packed everything in a bag and didn't even give me a tray. One of the employees lied to me. My impression of this restaurant was terrible.

I've rather avoid this place due to chaos instide durring pick up times. Cree doent know how to serve orders so im many people are trying to get ito the counter, and they are notoriously ignored by the staff.

The food wasn't hot, the floors and tables were dirty. Overflowing trash cans. Toilet visits were only €1 per person, even for customers. And on top of that, the staff were completely disinterested and unsympathetic. They gave incorrect and incomplete orders and reacted antisocially if you returned to the counter for them.

The worst McDonald's on the planet. 30-minute wait for two burgers. One nonchalant waitress who didn't even know what she was doing there (completely clueless and barely functioning). She handed out bags without drinks. There was vomit on the tables and the floor. A man was being arrested by the police right next to us, and some kids were blasting music. A truly horrific McDonald's. For your mental and physical health, absolutely do not go there ☝️

Amsterdam McDonald’s are the worst ever, all of them. Thank god I am not usual to eat fast food… It’s ultra dirty, kassa always empty, incredibly rude employees and the “fast food” it’s a concept that they for sure don’t know. The food quality is horrible and the taste of my hamburger even worse… Why are they still open?

I ordered a coffe and waited the number only to discover that you should have asked bartender directly about the coffee. Really? Or else they just ignore your order. That is completely inappropriate, it should be a sign like "ask your coffee and dont wait it on the screen". Horrible organisation.

Great experience at McDonald’s Nieuwendijk! The prices were reasonable for central Amsterdam, and the staff provided friendly, efficient service. The Big Tasty wasn’t on the menu, but I tried the Arc Beef burger instead and it was delicious
