A very nice place with quick service and nice staff, not quite sure where all the negative reviews are from

Just got a Mc Croquette, inedible, very soft on the outside. And the lady behind the counter says that's how it's supposed to be, just eat it. So it was inedible and I threw it away.

It's so dirty that we preferred to order takeout. Besides, we didn't check on the spot to make sure everything was there, and it turned out later that the mayonnaise we paid for was missing. I don't recommend it.

The chocolate cookie was very dry, to the point that your teeth hurt when biting in.

Toilets are filthy, there is a terrible urine smell inside.

although i got my food REALLY fast, trust me, i wasnt satisfied. an employee forgot about my cola and i had to wait for it, at first she had a doubting face when i asked where is the cola. 😂 the atmosphere was bad, kids running around, people were loud all the time and i was shaking so much. there were also teens that vaped inside the restaurant, insulted me, i dont know what else besides throwing a literal empty can at me when going out of the restaurant, of course no reaction from the employees. i’ve been to MANY mcdonald’s in amsterdam and in the netherlands actually and its THE WORST ONE. i recommend to avoid this place as much as possible, such a shame i went there — ended up with a panic attack.

Delivery initially estimated to be 25-35 min, took 90 minutes, and that’s almost every time!! Unacceptable.

I had a very bad experience with the McDonald’s in Osdroop. I placed a delivery order with 4 sandwiches, but only 2 were delivered. I then went back to the restaurant in person to resolve the issue. At the counter, I was assisted by a middle-aged female staff member with dark hair. From the beginning, her attitude was aggressive and unprofessional. Instead of offering a proper solution, I was told that only the missing sandwiches would be provided, and the staff member refused to remake the full order, even though the sandwiches already delivered were cold and no longer edible. Throughout the interaction, I felt uncomfortable and verbally confronted while simply requesting a fair resolution to an error that was not caused by me. This situation reflects very poor customer service and a lack of respect toward the customer. Overall, a very disappointing experience.

A distinctive place with relative tranquility

Food didn’t come so ordered again, worker spilled my drink and swore at me and then refused to give me a lid for my drinks. After, a group of lads came and egged and spat on people

Fries without salt, burgers that look like the Tower of Pisa... The service is absolutely terrible... I had to wait five minutes at an empty counter just to ask for something. Both I and other customers were very curt, even though it was very quiet. Normally the service here is decent, but the last few times it's been absolutely terrible.

Hi everyone, there are two blonde women working as managers at this Osdorpplein branch, and I think both of them are fantastic. What really strikes me when these women are there is that the restaurant is super clean, and the fries are nice and fresh and hot, which is very important to me :) I also see that they train the staff well, especially those behind the counter. They give tips and explain things kindly. My compliments as a woman. Kind regards

It's appalling that the teenagers here are working in the kitchen without gloves, and everyone can see it. It's disgusting to think about. And then this time, on October 22, 2025, I caught the manager in the white shirt secretly nibbling on fries with his bare hands. 🤢 If only I could take a picture and put it in the newspaper!

It's a shame to see the employees treating this branch like a community center, and then us, the customers, are the ones suffering. I ordered a Big Arc menu and chicken nuggets, but because they were joking around, they didn't get any sauces. They also gave me very old fries that were already hard and very orange. I do want to add that normally, 9 out of 10 times, there's something wrong with your burgers and the people who make them. However, today's burger was really good. So I don't know who made it, but I'm glad to see that person has an eye for detail and can handle the plating well. Actually, this person would be a better manager than the manager who worked on the evening of October 21, 2025. Unless this unreliable manager is compiling a menu on his laptop, I really don't know what he's doing all the time! But it was immediately clear that his laptop is important. If you can't even trust the employees to pocket everything you paid for, what does that say about the manager who was on duty at the time? But I'll ask for his email next time; I think that's the only way to get in touch with him. A hopeless manager who absolutely has no interest in anything anymore, not only his work, but life in general. In other words: This manager is a problem. Your branch is a community center. No one feels safe (especially in the evenings). Throw this manager's laptop away, or he'll disappear again. Promote the person who made the burgers tonight! And choose either the giggling front-of-house employees who don't do their jobs, or the paying customers who deserve to get what they pay for. You can't have both. A disappointing experience, and if McDonald's is already difficult for you, why on earth would you take a course? A waste of money, if you ask me!

ordered two bigs meals, only got fries for one. on the ones that we had, there was no salt at all. employees were also working without gloves and you couldn’t ask them anything, when the machine wasn’t working. don’t steal money from people, thank you.

Very poor and negative service. If I bought and paid for a plastic cup, then I want to pick up the PLASTIC cup, not the paper one. The girl spent three minutes proving to me that the paper cup is plastic. Just because of such a trifle, I will eat and pay money elsewhere. Be customer-oriented and courteous to customers please!!!

I was waiting for my order for 36 minutes. Staff just stands around chit-chatting instead of doing orders. They apparently forgot about mine and then magically did it in 4 minutes. Do not recommend if you are in a hurry, would be faster if i would have done it myself. Also the nuggets were not so good.

Seems quick but the manager refuses my request for extra sauce on the burger as the burger simply doesn't have any sauce. He almost offered to pay extra for it but no response and then laughs behind my back.

I've ordered more than a few times, and every time there was something missing, not to mention the terrible quality! I just placed my last order at this McDonald's, and I also reported that there are always problems with the order, and it's no coincidence that things are missing. I think they should open a carpentry shop.

They don't give you what you order and if you have to pay cash then that is not allowed and you don't get the right food if you don't get it

Nuggets were stale. They tasted like cardboard. Usually they are delicious, crunchy and melt in your mouth. Fries were soft, soggy and offensively under-salted. Horrible experience.

i get order in 21:40 I'm still waiting for my order, this is fast food and food shouldn't be delivered in an 1 hour and 15 minutes. If it were like that, I would have left the house and taken a for myself . This is not serious. !! never i get order one more time

Everything about this place is well below the standards you expect from McDonald’s. The fries were mixed up with some old cooking oil being used. The burgers were without sauce. The toilets closed and when asked the staff they didn’t even reply, they just ignored me

Hygiene is really very bad especially sanitary conditions. The rest is fine.

They have closed the toilet. If they want to charge money for using it, that's understandable. But closing it entirely is a problem. If you want to have a long conversation with someone while eating there, it’s no longer a good place. Because in need of using toilet, it will be a miserable situation.

They removed all power sockets so you can't charge your phone anymore while eating, toilet is often closed or dirty. (edit: they permanently closed the toilets! Not sure if that's legal, pretty sure any dine in restaurant is required to have at least 1 toilet!) Delivery services have to share pickup desk with regular customers. Apparently they had issues with pigeons getting in. And a window is cracked and the music is too loud... Probably the worst mcdonald's experience I've had in a while.

Bad food and awfully dirty toilets

I ordered my food around 4:15 PM and had it delivered. But it's already 5:45 PM and the food hasn't arrived yet. This is such bad service that you will never want to order from them again. They make you wait and the delivery time keeps changing. They are also not available by phone and you cannot file a complaint with them anywhere. Shameful!!!!

Then you think you can treat your child to a delivery, so we can stay home on this Sunday... Delivered via Uber Eats (sweet, neat boys by the way), but the food was stone cold and incomplete. Then your money goes down the toilet again, because I could easily throw it away. Scandalous and for me the very last time I order from this location "Osdorpplein". I don't know why, but this location has very bad reviews regarding delivery. I should have known after ordering twice before. I think the staff there needs a good kick in the ass.

We had a very bad service experience here nothing like what I've ever encountered at McDonald's. The lady behind the counter, extremely rude who seemed to be the manager, refused to serve me, even though the store wasn't busy at all. She insisted that I use the self-ordering machine, but I wanted to pay with cash. Even in the busiest McDonald's in the city, they serve you immediately with a smile. This kind of behavior shouldn't be tolerated at McDonald's—it gives the place a bad reputation.

The ordering system is malfunctioning. I selected a large chocomel and paid €3.25, but they told me that my order shows a small chocomel. I showed them that €3.25 was deducted from my card, but they insisted their system shows a small chocomel.

Hello everyone, I had a delicious meal today and I noticed that the lady with blond light brown hair is always there, the manager with a white blouse... that it is very clean in the restaurant, there was absolutely nothing on the floor. The ground smelled clean and whenever that lady is there as a manager on that day it is extra clean and that's how it should be :)) and she is very sweet and she always checks whether everything is going well and she really guides the employees well. a winner :))! I can say it is the cleanest McDonalds in Amsterdam :))

I was there 24/05, we did not receive a receipt when ordering so we walked to the counter. A young (what it looks like) short girl with curly hair in a ponytail then gave my friend a very dirty look and responded "what", to which we politely replied and explained what was going on and she looked away with a dirty look. Shame about Dr, really rude. We got there around 9:20 PM.

They give me a thumbs down at Uber Eats because I put that cup in a cup holder. I did that so everything doesn't leak out. Just keep doing your work with full pride 🇮🇱

We had to pay a deposit for the milkshake cups that was stated on the receipt. Money will be refunded upon return on the website. But we got nothing.

Payed for 20 normal nuggets. Got 20 vegan spicy nuggets. The manager did not want to give me 20 normal nuggets because I ate 5 of the ones that were wrongly given to me.

Girl gave my order to someone else (she had stuck the wrong receipt on it). When the customer then said something about it, she grabbed the bag, dropped the Coke and walked back to the counter with it. Once there she gave me the bag and drink with the message this is your order. 2 people have already dug around in the bag with food, drinks have already been spilled and I have to settle for that. She still had the courage to argue and complain to colleagues.

I've never rated a McDonald's like that. Everything is served hot and quickly, the place is clean. 20 nuggets for 5th grade, mcplant is my life. In short, at the top!
