Febo in Stadionbuurt

⭐☆☆☆☆ Absolutely awful customer service at the FEBO by the Olympic Stadium. There is a particular male employee who consistently comes across as extremely rude, dismissive and disrespectful towards customers. He seems to have plenty of time to be unpleasant and make customers feel uncomfortable, but apparently never has time to actually provide basic customer service. On top of that, I have personally experienced behaviour from him that I found racist and completely unacceptable. No customer should be made to feel uncomfortable or unwelcome because of their background or appearance. I genuinely don’t understand how someone with this attitude is allowed to represent a customer-facing business. FEBO should seriously look into the behaviour of this employee, because it reflects terribly on the location. I certainly strongly recommend management address this.

The Frituur Juwelier?.. delicious pastries of course! The one at Amstel Station remains the best!! A meatball sandwich and 3.50 is doable! Once a week? No, I notice that the snack bar is slowly dying out (the Dutch ones are already gone, I can't eat pork which I find delicious) this Febo I can't afford it anymore and a box of croquettes in the airfryer is fine, staff friendly though! There is nothing exciting about the menu. It's the same as all Febos, that's why it gets 4 stars. I actually consider this one of the better ones in Amsterdam. The older gentlemen can sometimes be a bit grumpy, but if you act friendly and cheerful yourself and set a good example, they quickly come around and you might still manage a smile. It is also quite important to know that you can only pay by card!! No cash available in the shop!!

That old man is really rude. I arrived at 00:45 and asked if I could still order fries. According to him, that was no problem, so I ordered a large portion of fries for €5.40. A little later, another woman came who also wanted to order fries, but for her, it was actually too late. Subsequently, the employee decided to share my large portion with her, so I ended up getting only a small portion. I did pay for a large portion of fries, but I didn't get one. Very poor service.

The food just wasn't good. Surely you'd expect the fries to be hot and salted. But then again, it was a young, unmotivated employee, wasn't it?

Cash payments are not possible and American Express doesn't work. And a cheeky mouth on top of that.

The fries were undercooked, and on top of that, it was a very small portion. I ordered a large portion of fries but only received a small amount for 6 euros. Dear FEBO, at other snack bars you can get a bag for 3 people for that price; this place really isn't what it used to be... a shame..

Fries in the bin thrown back into the fryer. And then they think people won't taste the difference anyway. The burgers had been sitting there for ages too and weren't fresh!

Poor hygiene; the tables were not clean, covered in crumbs from previous customers. The Biscof milkshake, on the other hand, was very tasty, highly recommended. Note: the small milkshake is very small. The music is great; good house music is always welcome. The burger was very thin; the pickle was thicker than the meat. It was tasty, but nothing special. The noodles are tasty, but better to get the frozen ones at AH. You get a lot of sauce, but orange oil comes off it. VERY GREASY! The fries don't look very good, but were okay overall.

What arrogant staff. 3 older men behind the counter, not a smile to their faces. You ask them to order normally and get such an arrogant look back as a guest. That's really unacceptable, they clearly weren't in the mood. And absolutely no respect towards guests.

Today I was served very unfriendly by a bald guy with glasses... When it was my turn, he started telling me that it was someone else's turn! I reacted, but forget it. He just said, "I decide whose turn it is." Eventually, I ordered large fries for €6. He just gave me a tiny scoop of fries! I commented that it was very little. I got a few more, but it was still outrageous! Later, there were two men at the counter who had both ordered two portions of fries. One got his order, the other nothing. He hadn't ordered/paid. The man showed it on his phone! Yeah, no, so he paid, but no fries! This man does whatever he wants and simply doesn't give a damn about you! Just outrageous!

Seriously, what a shitty place. Of course, you don't expect anything special at Febo, but nothing was right here. I stood in the shop for 10 minutes, I politely asked people if they had ordered yet, and went to stand opposite the cash register to take orders. The people who were working didn't notice at all. Zero eye contact or even letting me know it might take a little longer, nothing. Then a group walked in and stood in front of me; they were allowed to order before I could. Sorry, but then it's clear to me that you aren't cut out for these mega-simple tasks: observing if there are customers and communicating. Go to hell, Febo.

You can't visit the Netherlands without stopping at Febo, and this location is excellent! The experience of grabbing a fresh snack from the iconic 'wall' is always fun and super efficient. Everything I tried was hot, crispy, and clearly fresh. The kroketten are perfectly seasoned and the grillburger is a must-try. Despite being a fast-food spot, the service is friendly and the seating area is kept very clean and organized. It’s the perfect place for a high-quality, quick Dutch bite. Highly recommended for a reliable and tasty meal!

The food never arrived. It was marked as delivered, but when I requested a refund, they refused. My mother waited downstairs by the building the whole time. How could you have called, waited at my door while I was at the door and my mother was at the entrance, and asked every delivery driver if they had my food? That's not right. I've ordered often. I never received a phone call, even though they claim in my email. I won't be ordering since I can no longer trust this. Since this was delivered to my home, I wouldn't post it, but their email was personal, hence this message.

Extremely poor hygiene standards and an absurdly rude man behind the counter. The restrooms were filthy. When I asked if they had hand sanitizer or soap, because they didn't have any in the restroom, I was arrogantly told that it wasn't a restaurant but a snack bar? Besides being a very strange statement, having soap is simply required by hygiene codes for food establishments. The man behind the counter also doesn't wear gloves and just grabs ice cream cones and other food with his bare hands. He has no idea what he and the other staff use to wash their hands after using the restroom. And to top it all off, the man was also poking his ears right in front of me. Damn, the food wasn't very tasty afterward.

Febo at the Olympic Stadium: great atmosphere, good service, delicious burgers. And Russell is the best!

FEBO Olympic Stadium is always great. The staff is super friendly, everything is always fresh, and you get served quickly. The location is clean, and even the restrooms are clean, which isn't something you see everywhere. I love coming here, the best in Amsterdam!

Medium fries aren't medium, they're mini. Limp, and they charge €4.80 for them. FEBO is no longer FEBO.

Extremely rude man behind the counter, got angry at us for talking inside and for asking about our order after 20 minutes. He refused to speak with us, a bad experience at 6:20 PM on November 30th.

Good fries and tasty snacks, but it's a shame that you can see through the hatches of the vending machine that the employee doesn't wash his hands after emptying one trash bag into the other, yuck!

They didnt even let us in because of meticulous racism. Discrimination to our race and insult to the entire indian community in Amsterdam. This is very offensive and the guy shud be fired.

Exactly what you'd expect from Febo: easy and fast. Probably one of the best Febo restaurants: Very clean and spacious with several places to sit. The staff is always friendly! Downside: Febo's fries aren't the best, but they're fine! The other day, they forgot the bread roll with my croquette 🫤.

12 euro for a tiny burger and chips the chips were good but the burger bun was old and the patty was tiny no indoor seating and the outdoor seating is full of crows

Unfortunately, this Febo was a huge disappointment. I am aware that it is not a restaurant, but a bit of customer friendliness would be nice. The best man behind the counter does not seem to be there or interested. He does say thank you, but there is almost no life left in it. The veggie chicken burger was tasty, but not really a burger. More like a bun. The fries were limp and not cooked properly. It was not really clean inside. The toilets have no soap.

Owner of the febo should be more careful with the recruitments as counter staff in the evening are confused and arrogant. Food was okay but quantity was very low for large fries. I would prefer Amstelveen stadshart it's really good

Febo is a must try experience if you’re visiting Amsterdam. They have vending style machines were you can buy individual items or you can order from a machine near the counter or even at the counter. It’s very much fast food but it’s tasty. The cheese pocket things are unbelievably good. If you’re on a budget visiting Amsterdam, you could probably visit for lunch and dinner.

One of the most expensive Febo's in Amsterdam. Also very few fries with an order of large fries. As much as a normal fries. The two employees speak poor Dutch. A good evening, good afternoon, or how can I help you sir is not there. An older lady asked if she could pay cash. When cash was seen, she said "no" rather snappily. Not "sorry madam, unfortunately we do not accept cash". Some Febo's do accept cash. For example in South-East. There you also get value for money. There was also sniffing when bacon had to be prepared on the hamburger. Better to walk a bit further to the Frietsteeg (on the bridge Parnassusweg). It is also expensive there, but at least you are helped respectfully and you get quality fries.

Always friendly and neat! From today on, really fresh fries, so no frozen fries. Parking for the first hour free in the Ah garage

By far the worst Febo in Amsterdam South; Payment in cash is not possible and is not clearly indicated anywhere. The cheese soufles in the vending machine are always full of brown spots. Pigeons that always sit inside and are allowed to do their thing quietly for minutes. They have a menu, but you actually wonder why, because I see more white background than text on that menu, very limited. And the employees are apparently trained in China or Korea because there is not an ounce of humanity or decency in any of their employees.

Looks like a local fast food chain, I’ve tried the cheese burger and a vanilla milkshake, they were ok. I’ve tired this beef kroketten, I didn’t like it much. Funny story, this big bird was standing in front of the door and just kept looking at the restaurant. I’ve asked the worker here and he said this bird comes here everyday for food.

Great concept, you just tap your card and press on a button to get the food you want. Just keep in mind that they only accept card. The food and prices are okay. Really messy store during the nights and it litters down the whole neighbourhood.

The food was good, but they closed at 2 yet didn’t serve us before 2am. Did not even let us us sit inside!? Are we really that immigrantly

The guy at the counter was not friendly with zero hospitality! I asked a fries with saus. He put a fries in front of me with a random saus. Without asking what kind of saus I want!!! And when I asked for the sauce I wanted (which I paid for it already), he wanted to charge me for an another 80 cent! When I told him that’s not fair! He said that it’s costumer responsibility and he shouldn’t ask the costumers: what kind of saus you like!!! Which was so funny to hear and looked like a trick to earn more money to me! As a neighbor living across the street, this behavior was very disappointing to me. I’m not sure if this is what FEBO(owner) teach their employees. That’s why I decided to leave this review.

It’s a standard FEBO. I don’t understand why this is currently rated less than 4 stars. It’s hardly gourmet but it’s exactly what you need after too many beers.

I saw worker of this place trying to fight homeless who wanted to take some food from trush, when he took empty bottless, the worker of FEBO ( an Arabic arround 60 yrs)was chasing him to get back 30 cents worth bottless the homeless guy took from the trush. HAHAHAHA K... HAHAHA. You should give him some food, how can Yoube so cruel. That homeless is not homeless anymore and have a courage time to remind everyone how they treated him.

My double grilled burger was freshly prepared, cheese sauce came out of the wall hot and there was plenty of choice if I was in a more hurry to pull something off the wall. The guy behind the cash register was super polite and friendly when I also bought a grilled burger sauce to wrap it up.

Placed an order twice in 6 weeks and forgot a product each time😡 Phone is not answered. A chicken burger, fries with sauce and a veal croquette €25 (a chicken burger cold and open in the box and forgot a fries) Worthless Febo!!!!

After 42 years never again to the febo!! We don't accept card payments! I drove to the chip factory in Amstelveen! Recommended. Cash is welcome here and ten times tastier and cheaper too!

For this price you would be better off going to the Chinese and you will be treated kindly. Chicken crisps 3x dry and had been lying around for a while, fries no salt. Disinterested and stiff staff.

You order something and it is only delivered 2 hours later, even though it says it will be delivered within 35 minutes. Called the business, they are not customer friendly and just hang up the phone. Not recommended, better order somewhere else

Febo always had a large and especially tasty bami snack, but in recent years it has become smaller and the taste and quality have unfortunately also deteriorated. As a true bamihap connoisseur, Febo was always a safe choice for me, but unfortunately no longer. So yesterday I ordered a bami snack and was served a tasteless snack with very little vegetables. Just a block of pressed noodles. From an 8 to a 4🥲

Kom hier al 100 jaar. Prima voor de snelle snack of avondeten. Je wordt heel fijn geholpen altijd en snel.

Vriendelijk personeel en het eten is lekker maar zoals bij elke febo is er geen sfeer.

Lekke hapje gegeten bij de FEBO. Aardige meneer die ons heeft geholpen. Geen lange wachttijden. Voor de deur is het makkelijk parkeren. Wij hebben ook vegetarisch geprobeerd en dat viel wel erg tegen. Voor de rest zeker goed!!

Bestelde een patatje pindasaus. Frinkandel kaassouffle. Patat mocht iets langer gebakken worden. Verder netjes geholpen

Did the job. Auto vending machines accept card (Visa worked) instead of coins, but was low on stock. Service was good, and Kaassoufflé met the hype. Pigeons also dined here.

Personeel was bijzonder vriendelijk en vrolijk. Het eten niet goed en veel te duur. Uitdrukkelijk gevraagd om hamburger ZONDER kaas en kreeg met kaas. De hamburger was veel droog en taai. Patat was prima. Een schotel hamburger, een schotel saté, een bier en een wijn voor 48 euro!

Prima Febo op een handige plek. Contant betalen kan niet meer, alles met pin. Ik heb een heerlijke burger en ijsje gegeten. Prima zitplaatsen met goed zicht naar buiten, altijd wat te zien op dit drukke punt.

Altijd prettige bediening. En de kwaliteit is altijd een 10!

De febo heeft de prijzen aangepast met extreme verhogingen. 2,50 voor een matige frikandel en 3,50 voor een grilburger? Zo goed is het nou ook weer niet. Daar ga ik een stuk minder te zien zijn.

Vindt het niet meer de oude Febo milkshake en burger zijn van klein formaat en burger niet zo lekker als vroeger ..

Deze sterren zijn alleen voor de heel aardige mevrouw die er drie dagen in de week werkt. Vooral de man met plak haar is heel onbeschoft.
