FEBO Amsterdam - Zeilstraat in Schinkelbuurt

The food was absolutely terrible. Disgraceful. The hamburger on the bun was incredibly thin. How dare they sell this? You pay €4 for a bun with nothing on it. And this is supposed to be a medium fries?

Too bad the chicken and satay are gone on Sunday!!

The food itself is fine. What I've unfortunately noticed is that in recent months, or maybe even a year now, they've been adding far too much salt to the fries. It wasn't this salty before. I would recommend this Febo to watch the salt content, because too much is simply not good. The staff varies quite a bit. Sometimes you'll be served by someone who's very friendly and even brings your takeout meal to your table, other times someone is working alone and can't handle it and completely ignores the people trying to order (which is really unacceptable). Sometimes there are guys working who think it's cool to play their music really loud later in the evening.

Got the wrong order three times and ended up with cold fries and a lump of satay sauce. Truly the worst FEBO in Amsterdam, such a shame!

Had to wait 1 hour and 10 minutes for it to be delivered and it was also incomplete and this is what they call satay sauce 🙈

Every Sunday they are open until 2am and at 10pm they are already closed or not open all day.

Service is usually good and always ask for not too much salt on the fries but why are the "pulling machines" always empty? When I say (2x) the answer is: should I just fill them or if I fill them they will get cold. When I wait for my order I see people walking away because the machine is empty!

I was here just now for a bag of fries, everything was fine until the seller started smoking, licking his fingers and then touched my fries.. according to him this was normal and there was nothing wrong.. so we won't be coming here again!

So terribly slow, why is there only one person standing…

NEVER GO THERE! What unfriendly staff. We were waiting to order. But the lady was too busy with her phone and the man was busy folding boxes. We were really like Hello? Hygiene is also below standard. It's a shame that such a big name with a rich history is being ruined by franchisees who have no sense of hygiene, quality service or customer friendliness at all!

Very rude staff! She was very unfriendly and did not have any patience whatsoever. Very disappoited in this febo I will not be coming back.

I went yesterday got helped by 2 workers they were nice and good service

Case was empty. I placed my order. I waited 15 minutes. Fine. Then I received the completely wrong order. Outside I found out and went back. The employee acted like he didn't understand me. Luckily the other person the order was for was still there and I was able to give the order to him. I'm now waiting for mine. Order. Whatever I get next, I'm not coming back here. I haven't been here for a long time, but it saddens me to see how Febo, which is an institution, has deteriorated so quickly. Fortunately, there is another snack bar 50m away, which is fine. Edit: I am now at home with my order. Fries limp and not fried enough. Hamburger bun cold. Received 2 chicken wings, ordered 3. Well…

I came yesterday night shop almost closed but that guy is really nice i was so hungry he gave me chicken burger and it was really good highly recommend....

Was a nice tent. But recently new owners (I suspect). The staff is very anti-social and is just sitting around doing nothing. I got burnt fries. Nothing at all anymore.

I recently visited Febo and had an experience that was quite disappointing. I ordered a bacon burger, which is listed on the menu, but the worker refused to serve it, because of personal “religious” beliefs. While I respect individual beliefs, I believe that when working in the food service industry, it is important to adhere to the menu offerings and ensure customer satisfaction. This situation left me feeling frustrated and dissatisfied with my visit. I hope management can address this issue so that future customers can have a smoother and more enjoyable dining experience.

All You Need if you search for fast dutch fried food. You can order at the bar or just take one from the machine 👍🏼

Arrive on Christmas Day. Request fries special. Guy doesn't even speak Dutch. Not a word. Get fries war. Names don't even look alike. I'm home now and can't eat it. Nut allergy. Worthless.

Just placed an order - when we got home we found out that half the order was wrong. The special frikandel sandwich became a frikandel without sauce and bread roll, beef croquette with mustard became another croquette without mustard. Fries could also be fried a little longer. To compress!

I ate chicken burger and small fries, they were cheap and tasty. I ordered small fries but they are very enough for one person and service was amazing there was one person working but he was able to keep up with everyone he was very careful and helpful.

€10 in too good to go for 10 freshly made croquettes! Also very good service and very friendly staff.

Ordered 2 cheeseburgers, employee forgot to put cheese on it, later let it melt on the grill plate. He didn't bake the meat for longer than 30 seconds. It was terrible, I couldn't eat it, I went back and asked how long the meat should bake, he knew right away. not anymore when I said that his colleague fried for 30 seconds I was told that they always work that way. Never again get something to eat disrespectful guys who work there

Why I have given this 🤩?well, let me tell you, the service in this febo is amazing, the 2 older men were very good when it comes to service 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻.. the place is bit tight to sit in specially when it's raining, oh sorry, Amsterdam weather 😂.. probably when sun shines it's great . The food taste good but it's not economically friendly, it's too pricey for me😂😅

I would like to let you know that the service is top notch! I work across the street and my food is always delivered within 6 minutes. The owners are very nice and you are treated kindly. I live in Amsterdam West and prefer to eat at Febo Zeilstraat, because the atmosphere, service and food are great!

It's a shame that you can only pay by card. But the snacks aren't bad if you're a little hungry.

Typisch Niederländischer Fastfood. Gerade als Tourist interessant, da es so etwas bei uns nicht gibt. Auch Preis-Leistung stimmen hier meiner Meinung nach. Einrichtung und Service wie man es von Fastfood ketten gewohnt ist. Lediglich die Warmhalteautomaten stellen hier ein Alleinstellungsmerkmal dar. Kann es für den Snack zwischendurch empfehlen. Jedoch sollte einem bewusst sein, dass es alles andere als gesund ist.

Zoals altijd goed en lekker de service was top een klantvriendelijke eigenaar die nog in de zaak staat kom je niet snel meer tegen in deze tijd. De febo lekker Amsterdams en vertouwt en veel vega opties tegenwoordig top.

The krokets are very nice and the staff are super friendly and helpful. I was there at 9:30pm when the krokets in the machines had been sitting there all day, so the staff voluntarily made fresh ones for me and they tasted fabulous. The mustard adds a different dimension to the krokets so I recommend trying it with and without it. Overall amazing experience for just €2.50.

Was weer lekker. Jammer dat de fantastische aanbieding; 2 saté kroketten voor €5 was uitverkocht, gelukkig waren er nog wel saté kroketten voor €2,50 per stuk😀

Food is great, but lately all my deliveries are missing something, from a burger, to fries, or in cases not so important, details in the burgers. Need to be more careful.

Je krijgt als je patat met een saus neemt meer saus dan patat dat doen ze wel slim. Hebben goede regels ingevoerd vanwege Covid-19.
