Delicious apple pie for a reasonable price!

Had an incredibly fun, educational, and delicious day! Went home with lots of delicious bread. You do and learn so much during the day; you are really busy the whole time! Highly recommended for anyone who loves baking their own bread!

Apricot jam under an overly thick layer of glaze on the banana cream puffs? Heavy, sticky bokkenpoten with an overpowering almond aroma? And on top of that, having to pay €7.50 for four pieces. I wanted to give it another chance, since the first experience wasn't exactly optimal either. The refinement of the flavors really deserves attention. Unfortunately, this is truly below par for a patisserie.

This fine baker has a cooling unit/compressor on the roof for the bakery's cold room, but it's on more often than off. This results in the bedrooms on the first floor of the houses surrounding the bakery hearing that old compressor running all night long. Apparently, normal nighttime silence is too much to ask of our baker, who also doesn't have a closed enclosure around the cooling unit for the freezer room (which has been mandatory since 2012 according to the guidelines!!) This also makes it noisier than necessary. Sleeping with the bedroom window open for fresh, cool air in the summer isn't an option for my son. I've spoken to the baker about this several times, and he says he's doing something about it, but he doesn't. It's a real shame it has to be this way. I think the baker is waiting for someone "else" to do "something" about it. But whether this is good for the products in the cold room...
