Friendly service and the food is always high quality at a very affordable price.

Super cozy! I accidentally got coffee spilled on me, but it was cleaned up professionally and I was even offered clean clothes. I've eaten here a few times before, and this time I joined family who had dined here for a shared dessert and coffee.

Accessible, atmospheric, cozy, and above all, pure! A small-scale, high-quality restaurant that certainly exceeded our high expectations.

We loved the place and food. However, not a 5 stars service. The waiters seemed inexperienced and took too long to clear the dishes from the table.

Came in for dinner late in the evening after a day of travel and they were willing to squeeze me in at the last minute although the kitchen was about to close. The best risotto I’ve ever had - tasty, good and healthy quality ingredients, you can tell the food, drinks, the whole place is made and served with love and high attention to detail. I’d definitely make this a regular spot to come back to.

Excellent restaurant with a cosy atmosphere. We had chosen a four-course menu and we really enjoyed it. Very friendly service and we paid a very reasonable price for what was offered to us. The size of the dishes was also generous, even a big eater will leave satisfied. So it is still possible in our capital: Good and cosy food for a reasonable price. The place was completely full, which does not surprise us. Leave the city centre for what it is and move towards the Schinkel. Success guaranteed.

Lovely restaurant, fine dishes, nicely coordinated. Nice atmosphere. There could be some finishing touches to the service, such as pouring the wine and taking glasses or dishes from the table more regularly. It doesn't have to be strict, but it is more pleasant: after all, it is not a cafe. I am looking forward to the second restaurant.

The only good thing about this restaurant is the cook who makes a very amazing food. The rest is just bad (the service and atmosphere). The restaurant is too small, they lack seriously staff, struggle to serve the clients. The barman prepares drinks with dirty hands (I saw him take the money, the credit cards of the clients and put the mint leaves just after that into the cocktail glass without washing his hands). Very disgusting. The cook is the only person who keeps this place alive.

One of the best spots in Amsterdam! It’s super cozy with friendly service and a menu that’s really well thought out. I kicked things off with the steak tartare as a starter but portion wise it could almost be a main. For my main, I went with the risotto topped with dorado and a creamy gamba sauce. The wine selection was spot-on too. I can’t recommend this place enough!

10/10! We came across this place while walking around the area and it did not disappoint. The service was fantastic and the food was amazing. The menu is so well assembled and everything we tried had the right balance of flavours, without being over complicated or too pretentious. Everything was fresh and you could taste that. Really well done, folks! Congratulations! We will be coming back soon for sure.

All reviews below are correct. We also had a wonderful evening. Nice atmosphere, a delicious five-course menu and you can ask for matching wines. A special incidental is that we lived a few doors away in the 1970s. Times have changed, on the corner there was a milkman, a greengrocer and a cigar shop. The only restaurant was a Chinese takeaway in Heemstedestraat. We have been told that there will be a restaurant on the Schinkelkade, we are very curious and will definitely go there too!

Tonight we had a delicious meal for the 3rd time, it's really a place to go if you have something to celebrate 💜 and if I don't have anything to celebrate then I'll think of something to still go haha! Everything they have is tasty and surprising. The atmosphere is great, people who work there are very nice, it is not a pretentious restaurant. You immediately feel welcome. New favorite place in the neighborhood!🤩

Quality restaurant offering pescatarian food. They used to have meat on the menu but it seems like this isn't there anymore. Although this did make it a bit more difficult for me to choose a fitting dish, I chose the fish risotto which was absolutely delicious! The restaurant itself has a cute vibe although it is always busy, so it's not a place to have a quiet night out. Make sure to make a reservation as they are super popular!

One of the best restaurants I have been to in Amsterdam. A bit outside city centre but this is not bad actually. We were welcomed by the friendly staff, that greeted us, explained us the menu and also gave good suggestions for wine pairing. We went for the 4-course menu. Everything was inspirational, with a good combination of ingredients and provided a great tasting experience of different flavours. The roasted pork belly was the highlight. Only the risotto was a bit dry for my taste, but still quite good.

Wonderful restaurant. It's nice that it really is a family business. The food is simply very good and without any frills. As a vegetarian, this is also great fun and varied dishes. If you can make cauliflower this creative and delicious, you are doing really well. If we are in the area again, we will definitely come back.

This is such a great place with an amazing food. I almost did not want to give it a reviews because I want to keep it all to myself! The chef is a genius and the service is always extremely kind. Cannot recommend it enough.

A real gem, hidden in an unremarkable street/neighborhood. The staff is young but takes everything very seriously and therefore receives kudos. The kitchen is small and you wonder (at least I do) how do you make such good food in such a small kitchen. I visit quite a few renowned places here and there, but the quality is not inferior to a 1-star restaurant. The price is very reasonable and the wines are good (could be a little better). Tip to the chef, the portions (especially for the 5-course dinner) could actually be smaller. All in all highly recommended.

What a great place, food is very tasty and not boring, service is very good, location is just cozy, only the wines are not great. But, above all, the price-quality ratio is unprecedentedly good. I'll definitely be back! Favorite dish was the langoustine bisque with Dutch shrimps and salt cod.

The balance of flavors was spot-on, and the service was friendly and attentive. Honestly, if a few minor details were polished, I’d consider this place Michelin-level—I've dined at Michelin-starred restaurants that didn’t impress me as much. Whether or not a star is on your agenda dear 63 Graden team, it doesn't matter; just keep doing what you’re doing. I had a wonderful culinary experience as this is high quality cooking and worth a stop. Plus, I feel it’s an absolute bargain for the quality and taste you get. Just a heads-up: I was a solo walk-in, but if you're planning to bring loved ones (which you definitely should), I recommend making a reservation! Overall 4.7 stars!

A very nice little restaurant with very good food. The menu is not extensive, but the dishes are imaginative, fresh and very tasty and attractively prepared. The staff is not only very friendly but also clearly enjoys working despite the restaurant being at full capacity on Saturday evening. Totally recommended. The only thing is that quality also has its price.

A very full restaurant but we managed to get a table on a Saturday night, we were very lucky. All staff were lovely and helpful and the food was amazing, fresh and delicious. Great vibes and atmosphere and absolute gem.

Ik ben hier al een paar keer geweest en het blijft een feestje. Dit keer buiten aan een picknicktafel. De sfeer is heerlijk, het eten zalig en de bediening super vriendelijk. We begonnen met het flatbread wat royaal is belegd en voortreffelijk van smaak is. Ook hadden we de zeebaars met octopus wat ook heerlijk was. We deelden de mosselen (lekker met een broodje en een mosterdsausje) en we hadden een goede rode wijn. Echt een aanrader!

I've been here a few times and it's still a blast. This time outside at a picnic table. The atmosphere is wonderful, the food delicious and the service super friendly. We started with the flatbread, which was generously topped and had an excellent taste. We also had the sea bass with octopus which was also delicious. We shared the mussels (delicious with a sandwich and a mustard sauce) and we had a good red wine. Highly recommended!

It was nice but I admit being disappointed after the hype of other reviews. We had the chef’s 4-course menu and was ok, starter was really not good in my opinion. Main was delicious but so small - and by that point I was hungry!! Two out of three staff were nice, other guy could do with some more friendliness and unfortunately he was the one who welcomed us so it set a downer vibe. High prices so I don’t think I’d go again, kind of disappointed as it was for a special occasion but we made the best of it with the wine.

A must try for anyone in Amsterdam. Truly a great experience. Me and my girlfriend had the 5-course meal. The food was beautiful on the plate, delicious and unique. The service was great and the presentation was flawless. The resturant itself was slightly worn, however this just gave it a cozy atmosphere and did in no way take away from our experience. Would visit again on our next trip to Amsterdam. A solid 10/10 experience.

Can’t recommend this place enough! We’ve had the chef’s menu for one vegetarian and one pescatarian gluten free meal and every single dish was amazing. The service was excellent, and even the wine we’ve had was fantastic. A real hidden gem, we’re already looking forward to our next visit.

Everything was absolutely beyond delicious. The wine and the service were immaculate. My friend is vegetarian and I am a gluten intolerant pescaterian and we each had an entirely different 4 course meal with no special effort or compromises on the quality and creativity of the food. Perfect. Very unique experience. Something off the books, but steel comes somewhere from the deepest parts of your heart and feels home, like you came back after a looong journey, and have a little time to prepare for a new one. Come to order their “steak” and selection of cheese and drinks!

For the food, the atmosphere, the service, everything was fantastic... We had to go back a second time. We will repeat it whenever we return to Amsterdam. It was a great discovery. On top of that, there are Portuguese wines... 😏
