Worthless place where you have to wait half an hour for 3 coffees and 1 cold drink. Too noisy. In the middle of traffic. And too expensive for such a simple place. Yet it is packed every day. I don't understand that audience. What simple people.

The food and drinks were fine – my pork belly sandwich and the Spicy Mango Margarita tasted good. Unfortunately, the experience took a turn for the worse when the waitress bumped into my table, causing some of my drink to spill into my food. What followed was only a brief apology, without any form of compensation. Despite the mistake, the full bill was presented. That felt improper and not very customer-friendly. Too bad such a situation was not resolved more professionally.

Tasty food and friendly staff. We tried sandwiches and were very pleased how good and unusual they were.

Very accommodating English-speaking hip staff. The place is quite far from the tourist crowd, and enjoying lunch in its beautiful interior felt nice. The food is excellent too.

Lovely small menu and a nice cafe to enjoy time with friends. We visit often for brunch, and love the pancakes and salads and broodjes. The fresh baked cookies are a nice treat.

I like this place! Food is nice and the staff is very cool. You can sit downstairs and work, you just have to buy something each hour of computer time. The menú is small, I had the pork belly sandwich and it was quite good. The matcha is a bit on the bitter side, but still nice. Choco-Chip cookie is very tasty, on the crunchy side and very chocolaty!! The terrace is nice to sit and have coffee/drinks on a sunny day :)

Very weird experience… feels more like a frat house, been here before and it was fairly nice a while back, but the terrace filled with employee friends asking for a lighter or using your candle to light up a cig, some weird stuff with the drink order that is usually delivered differently at other spots. Honestly, just not a pleasant place that seems very mismanaged.

Delicious and very affordable. It's just a shame that the back terrace is only accessible until 8 p.m.

Came here twice since it’s really close to my house and it’s a really cute sunny spot, however I’d say it’s quite overpriced for what you pay. First time I ordered avocado sandwich with extra salmon got salmon sandwich instead (completely different ingredients) however I just ignored it and ate. My partner got a pancake which I really liked so we came back second time for pancakes however they changed the recipe completely: from cherry to lemon without informing us and the menu still had an old recipe. that kind of sucked since u kind of expect being informed or at least getting a new menu if things change. the waitress wasn’t friendly at all, we got drinks after food and cutleries also came after the food was served.

It’s such a cute spot, very spacious, on a sunny day you can enjoy the garden in the back. The food is delicious, especially the pancakes and the French toast! I loved this place :)

Het hoeft niet fancy te zijn of om complexe gerechten te gaan om lekker te eten in deze stad. Deze kunstgalerij annex eethuis serveert smakelijk en zeer goed bereidt eten. De boterham met buikspek was voor duimen en vingers af te likken en stilde de honger in de zoektocht naar bahn-mi in A'dam. Deze boterham diende in geen enkel opzicht onder te doen voor de betere Vietnamese sandwich. Hier word ik blij van. Mijn partner had gekozen voor de sandwich met de vegetarische bitterballen. En ook deze was top in uitvoering. En een duidelijk signaal aan de verknochte vleeseters dat je een heerlijke bitterbal kan maken zonde vlees. Een mooi aanbod aan dranken, maar er wordt om een voor ons onduidelijke reden geen wijn geserveerd. De bediening was zeer vriendelijk en in de zomer zie ik mij hier wel in de tuin genieten van al dit lekkers.

It doesn't have to be fancy or involve complex dishes to enjoy good food in this city. This art gallery and eatery serves tasty and very well prepared food. The pork belly sandwich was delicious and satisfied the hunger in the search for bahn-mi in Amsterdam. This sandwich was in no way inferior to the better Vietnamese sandwich. This makes me happy. My partner opted for the sandwich with the vegetarian bitterballen. And this one was also top notch. And a clear signal to the devoted meat eaters that you can make a delicious bitterbal without meat. A nice range of drinks, but for some reason that is unclear to us, no wine is served. The service was very friendly and in the summer I can see myself enjoying all these goodies in the garden. Pleasantly surprised!

Loved this place ordered quite a lot due to the affordability! The kimchi toastie and American pancakes were amazing!!! Good matcha and coffee too. Would Definetly recommend! I wouldn’t come here to work though, it’s just too nice

Had a fantastic night at this place! The snacks were delicious, the drinks were on point, and the atmosphere was amazing. On top of that, the people were super friendly. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to!

Despite the crowds, the service was remarkably fast and the food was delicious! After dinner we enjoyed a delicious mint & ginger tea on this Sunday afternoon - the ginger really stood out so well, a perfect cup of tea. 👍🏻 P.S.: Thank you for your courage and commitment to the people who need it most. 🍉

My favourite place to get lunch or dinner. Warm atmosphere and service, good value. The mushroom dish was very delicious.

Food was prepared in a rushed state, I have had better lunches here before. Also a bit pricy. Coffee especially the cappuccino is horrible. They can learn something from the coffee bar Fuku around the corner. Atmosphere is a like walking into a 'Digital Nomads' office.

Used to be good but something went wrong recently. the staff doesn’t seem to care. Waited for 40 minutes for lunch that never arrived and then had to leave. The waitress didn’t place the order at all, didn’t follow up and served other people instead.

This is what I call a cheese sandwich restaurant. Why? Because it was very little and I ate sandwiches with cheese in the evening because I was hungry afterwards. The two pieces of bread per person that we received could be 3 and the mushroom could be a whole per person instead of half. Food is very tasty. Tasty combinations and beautiful plates. Nice how they handle vegetables. Staff is friendly and they take allergies into account. The space is nice. Lots of tables so you sit back to back with the person behind you and you feel every movement.

Still one of my favorite places to meet up with friends for drinks and a bite.

Quite disappointed, don’t get the set menu, we came with 5 people and got food for maybe two. We all left hungry. The general vibe is nice but service was slow.

Everything was delicious and they provide an excellent service. Beautiful place with tables inside and outside (there is a backyard) with natural light and many vegetarian options. We ordered the matcha latte with almond milk, a cappuccino, the American pancakes (very yummy) and a croissant.

Super nice place, I like to come there for the negronis and best bao buns in town! I have now also eaten the cauliflower steak and king boletus, highly recommended

Great experience! Had a wonderful evening, including the delicious vegan bao buns and the vegan burger. Very animal/vegan friendly! Service was also quick and very nice. Tasted two Special Lemonades, really SOOO tasty, I couldn't have thought of it myself! Highly recommended and will definitely come here more often. Just trust me!

Nice enough space, took a very long time to get our drinks delivered and a long time to pay the bill, but I think that is the standard in Amsterdam. Would like to try the food next time as it looked nice.

Food was ok. Map was not big. Pumpkin soup had a nice taste. The pancakes were small and I think it was too expensive for what you get. Worth a 3 star rating. Service was fine. Went here for Sunday brunch and was very pleased by the food, service, and atmosphere. They put a lot of thought in decorating the place so bonus points for the overall ambiance.

We were sitting on the terrace and even though the waitresses were super friendly, the food took a very long time to come. Also plates coming at different times for different people which is not nice as a group of 5 Plates are very tasty but not that big so just be ready

I love it ! Went recently with my book club and the Buns with Pull-pork were the highlight of my day. They also have an orange with saffron drink that tasted amazing. Highly recommended.

The place is great, but the last two times we have been here we had trouble with our order. The first time it took a very long time 40 mins…, the second time 45 minutes passed and we didn’t get our food, when asked they said they didn’t have our order in the system. If you want a coffee or beer then enjoy the environment. If you are planning to eat, maybe find a more reliable place.

The food is quite decedent, the service is nice but slow and the place itself it's in a great location, with a great terrace and great indoor space. One of our go to spots :)

We had the big brunch and pork belly Vietnamese style. It was both delicious! Very chill atmosphere with a nice garden. Also great: you get a free bottle of still water for free! Thanks to the team - we had a great time

This (sad) story is called: "You spilled it, you clean it", A.K.A. a complete stranger randomly passing by would be more helpful. Edit: been a customer since it opened and noticed a huge drop in the service quality. If feels like the main focus is now in being as much hipster as possible rather than offering a nice experience to customers. Let me elaborate: last time I was here, I spilled a beer by mistake (not the first time I see it happening in my life, not the last, sometimes it even happens to waiters, that's life) and when we asked for help cleaning the floor/table, after many ignored attempts, the annoyed waiter eventually arrived and said: you spilled it, you clean it! 😅 (which we actually did way before we were invited to do so). [Please note: If I say something like this to a customer at work I would get fired on the spot or invited to "go get yourself together"] Well, I guess they have a new unique definition of being customer oriented (and I would say even being a kind human being). If I see someone falling on the street I would just help them stand up, even if I am not paid for that. I wouldn't tell this person: you fell, you deal with it. I find this really sad, on a human level really. And no, this doesn't have to do with the old story of "in the Netherlands we always go straight to the point", because there is a huge difference between being rude/unkind and being direct. I remember something similar happening to a friend of mine some time ago in another bar: the staff promptly helped us cleaning using a mob and the host even offered us another beer. (Business as usual). Of course, I didn't expect a new beer, but just a normal service. I guess being nice has become already underrated, left alone helping a customer. ---------------------------------------------- Old review: Cool spot in Bos en Lommer to drink a beer, have a bite and admire many art pieces in their exhibition.

Excellent place for lunch. We had the sandwiches and a salad and each were incredible. The meals are all full of flavor with surprising combinations of ingredients. The pork sandwich was the best in town. The gallery has super interesting pieces and the atmosphere is really chilled. The restaurant is quite big so we were able to get a table for lunch without a reservation. I would highly recommend this spot.

Scandalous place, woke up in the night on a Thursday to very loud music at 12 o'clock at night, she then called and was told that this was completely normal, I really don't think this is possible for dogs, no respect at all

Very nice and cosy place. Since the beginning we were well treated and they got our order Very quickly. The food follows the logic, tasty and yet simple in its own way. I order the brunch, which was full of different components and all of them delighted me.

Great place with good food and a sunny terrace, service could be a little better. It's also a shame that they have hung a rather polarizing poster at the entrance about the war in Gaza. Everyone is entitled to an opinion, but a cafe should contribute to connection instead of further polarization.

Went there yesterday evening and didn’t realised that it was already closed. I entered the door and the bartender was very impolite. Instead of just telling me that they are closed he tried to involve me into a very strange and totally unnecessary conversation. Two other women were sitting silently at the bar. Maybe he just had a bad day. But I hope that this impoliteness doesn’t happen more often. Doesn’t really want me to go back to that place.

The food tasted good, very tasty. The portions are ridiculously small. It is recommended to order several dishes, but even then you would have to order the entire menu to fill your stomach. To summarize: in terms of price / portions it is not worth it unfortunately. Unless you have a lot of money and are willing to order the entire menu, you can leave the restaurant full and satisfied. Otherwise not. regards

Visit the place quite frequently. I really enjoy the atmosphere, the food and people working there. Coffee is great too. Went there on New Years Day. They were actually closed, but made both my friend and me a cappucino to take away for free! How friendly can one be... Awesome place!

I do like to go there because of the location itself. Cozy and bright atmosphere which makes you wanna stay. Good place to read a book or get some work done (no laptop & laptop zone). The lunch menu is great too & everything looks really fresh and tasty. You can see them preparing everything from scratch in the little open kitchen. I ordered the soup of the week a couple of times. Taste is usually really good and i like that they go for seasonal veggies (sometimes bit too spicy but that’s personal preference). However, the portions really differ! One time you get a really big bowl, the other day only an appetizer portion, sometimes with bread, the other time without ... should be more consistent. The service could be better too.. sometimes I find the waitress not really attentive/friendly and food/drinks take too long. Would be great to feel more welcomed.

Spacious cozy place. Great food, frequently changing menu. Love the interior, ever changing art exhibit. Chill music. Good system of no-laptop/laptop areas.

Waar vind je nou zoiets? Heel erg lekker gegeten, heel betaalbaar... als je wijn bestelt, staan ze erop dat je die eerst proeft om zeker te weten dat het een goede keus is... nog nooit eerder meegemaakt (en het was een goede keus, hun 'oranje wijn' is te gek)... als je op een wat ongebruikelijk plekje in het raamkozijn zit, komen ze daar je friet brengen...lekkerste friet ooit trouwens, all you could wish for... super!
