The service is abysmal. The employees see you standing at the checkout and continue playing on their phones. We're still here this week, and this was our first and last time eating here.

We ordered three large pizzas today, all with different toppings, and were pleasantly surprised. We were expecting an average campsite pizza and got three truly delicious pizzas, just like you'd get at a regular restaurant! We'd be happy to come back 😊

It's okay if you want something to eat in between meals.

An excellent experience at Foodcourt 42 – highly recommended! Last week, I had the opportunity to visit Foodcourt 42, and I can confidently say it was a truly enjoyable experience. At a time when many restaurants struggle to combine quality, service, and efficiency – especially during peak hours – Foodcourt 42 manages to strike the perfect balance. Upon entering, I was immediately struck by the lively atmosphere. It was quite busy, which is always a good sign, but this didn't negatively impact the speed or quality of the service. The staff remained remarkably friendly, welcoming, and professional. They took the time to take orders correctly and did so with a smile. Even during peak hours, the wait time remained surprisingly short. This is something I personally appreciate, as efficiency without sacrificing customer focus is rare. As for the food: the hot wings – 20 pieces – are highly recommended. They were perfectly prepared: crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and well-seasoned. The spice blend was just right – spicy enough to give it character, but not so intense that it overpowers the taste experience. For lovers of good chicken dishes, this is absolutely a must-try. The pizzas also deserve an honorable mention. It's often difficult to find good quality pizzas at food courts, but here they were clearly prepared with care. The crust had a pleasant crispiness, while the toppings were generous and flavorful. It was clear they were using fresh ingredients, and you can immediately taste the difference. The fries were equally impressive. Well-cooked – golden brown and crispy – and without excess oil, which, to me, is always a sign of good cooking technique and attention to detail. They complemented both the chicken and the pizza perfectly and rounded out the meal. Another strength of Foodcourt 42 is the overall service. The tables were kept tidy despite the crowds, and there was a pleasant, informal atmosphere. You feel welcome and at ease, whether you quickly pick up something or want to sit quietly and enjoy your meal.

A large selection of food and drinks is available. There are kiosks for ordering food, and the prices are currently reasonable.

A fantastic restaurant with excellent service. It completes the campsite and deserves 5 stars. The food is all top-notch!

After diving, we had a delicious meal. The service was excellent. During peak season, at DRIKTE, they'll call out your number. The vegetarian option is also definitely recommended.

Unfortunately, it's not as good as it used to be. Almost no Dutch-speaking staff anymore. Check your order carefully because it's often wrong, and the opening hours are also erratic. Sometimes they'll let people in at 10:05 PM, and other times they'll turn people away at 9:50 PM when it's supposed to be open until 10:00 PM.

We've stayed at a campsite in this area several times. When we weren't here at Julianahoeve, we liked to eat here from the surrounding campsites. The food is average, and therefore not too expensive. The mostly young people who work there make a lot of effort. However, if you order food during peak times—that is, when the power comes back on from the beach to the campsite—you can wait 45 minutes to an hour for your food. I once received the wrong pizza, and when I complained, I immediately received a fresh new one. Even if you accidentally leave things behind, even if it was your own fault, you get them immediately at no extra cost. The staff is very friendly and always in a good mood, even during peak times. I also really like the fact that there are ordering machines that offer French, German, and Dutch as languages. This simplifies the ordering process, and you can also pay by card directly at the ordering terminal. You get a numbered receipt and just have to wait for your order. UPDATE 2025: I don't know if the operator has changed or if the receptors have simply been altered, but the pizza was quite dry this time. That's why I deducted a star.

The food is alright for a food court. But make sure your waiter isn't a middle-aged man with long gray hair and glasses. Even though we asked for a new set of fork and knife, we wouldn't get one. We had to eat the frikandel with our fingers like animals. The food was quite tasty for a cafeteria. However, you should be careful who's serving you. The older gentleman with long hair and glasses refused to give us a knife and fork for the Frikandel Special, despite repeated requests. In the end, the frikandel had to be eaten with our fingers, as you can't cut it with a wooden pick.

By far the worst food I've ever eaten in my life. It arrived at the table disgusting, just like in the pictures. I paid €75. I would close the place if I could. It's truly a complete rip-off and a disgrace. Go somewhere else. Worst place ever.

Today Thursday September 14th there were no pizza. In the menu is about 1/3 pizza. Nowhere is this mentioned. Nice pizza party will be somewhere else Very unfortunate Disillusioned family and children.

The food court is convenient to reach and offers a good selection of dishes. The atmosphere is nice at first impression. But it gets very loud and crowded at times. There is little information. There are machines in the entrance area where you can order and pay. But there is no option to pay in cash like at McDonald's machines. There is no information about the possible payment methods either in the store or online. It was only when we asked the lady at the pump that we found out that there was a cash register for cash payments. The staff is friendly, but it makes a huge difference who serves the soft ice cream there. Depending on the size, you get twice as much ice cream if you order the same size. Unfortunately, there is no description of what the different ice creams are when it comes to ice cream. So I received an ice cream whose cup was only half filled with the actual ice cream. The other half was filled with a "toy". I would have liked to have known that then I wouldn't have spent €3 on half an ice cream and a piece of silicone. You can see strawberries in the picture of the ice cream with the toppings, unfortunately they weren't there. But you can choose from a dozen sweet toppings. A fresh, healthy alternative would have been nice. Unfortunately, the freezer with the ice balls did not have a price label. You will also not find a drink menu with sizes and prices anywhere. The food here is mixed. The chicken strips are very tasty and crispy. Also well seasoned and a bit peppery. According to my husband, the burgers are slightly better than the chain with the big gold M. The fries are average. Unfortunately not salted at all!? You do get salt, but it no longer sticks to the fries...so why? Frikandels and the like are like everywhere else. When picking up the food, no one checks or pays attention to which food is taken. When the number is displayed, do you just take one of the bags if you're lucky?

Ideal for a small snack in between. Well located, right between the fun pool and the indoor playground. The offers are gladly accepted by young and old.

Great self-service restaurant on the campsite. Very moderate prices (especially for Holland) and delicious food to take away or eat in (no extra charge). Ordering via terminals including payment. Also great for families with children because there is a very (!) large area for the children to play.

A large pizza costs just 25 cents more than a children's pizza. For a small pizza 10€ that's totally disproportionate, just because it comes with a plastic coin?!

Pizza, burgers, fries, snacks, salads... there's a lot to choose from. Have already tried one or two dishes and have always been satisfied. Sometimes you have to wait a long time, but that can be coordinated in time

The food court is centrally located, next to the swimming pool. You can order pizzas, burgers, salads, etc. yourself via a terminal. Otherwise it is set up as you would expect. The service speaks different languages, including German.

When you look at the fries you can tell that the goods on offer here are really cheap. They taste like cardboard. Kipsate floats in oil and the frikandel has a strange consistency and is overloaded with mayo. That used to be better.

It often happens that orders are incomplete, so I advise checking orders. Unfortunately, the quality has decreased significantly since the food court and the restaurant were swapped. Waiting for your food in 100% humidity and the smell of chlorine is not nice. The workforce is getting younger and younger and often has no feel for how to handle food. The workforce makes an effort, but there are no permanent staff and changes occur every year. In addition, there has been no breakfast this year, which I regret very much. It would be nice if I could see a change there.

Fast food restaurant with a huge selection of pizzas, meat dishes, burgers, sandwiches and small snacks. Everything is freshly prepared and the prices are also reasonable. If you're looking for a quick meal at the campsite, you'll definitely find it.

Great help from the female employee who was working alone today. Cheerful, enthusiastic and very neat. There is a super large playground for children and, especially after a fun day at the swimming pool, it is highly recommended to have something to eat here. The portions are also well filled!

I can't understand some of the negative reviews. We were always served in a friendly manner. My questions about gluten-free dishes were always answered. You can choose from products such as pizza, fries and various snacks. All meals are also available to take away. The salami pizza I ordered was generously topped, crispy and still warm. The ice cream and coffee taste great!

Great “fast food restaurant” at fair prices, everything is there for a small hunger right up to a big meal. Orders possible via terminals (EC card) or via counter. Friendly staff and quick, fresh preparation.

Sehr schönes Fastfood Restaurant. Mit Kinderspielplatz innen und angrenzendem aussenspielplatz im Campingplatzgelände. Essen typisch holländische Snacks plus Pizza und andere Kleinigkeiten. Uns hats geschmeckt. Wir würden es weiterempfehlen. Liebe urlaubsgrüße

Extremely slow! You may order your food, then go to another restaurant, finish a decent meal, come back, then you will find your food still not ready yet. Although the food tastes good.

Wir kommen seit 8 Jahren jedes Jahr mindestens 1x nach Julianahoeve. Wir waren die ersten Jahre von allen Gerichten überzeugt. Man konnte alles gut essen. Dies hat die letzten Jahre deutlich nachgelassen. Letztes Jahr war die Pizza schon nur noch sehr dünn und sehr spätlich belegt. Nicht nur der Belag an sich, dondern auch die Omstensauce und den Käse musste man duchen. Wir wollten der Pizza dieses Jahr nochmal eine Chance geben. Ich hatte heute ein Pizza Caprese. Diese hatte den Namen Pizza nicht verdient. Es ärgert mich, kein Foto gemacht zu haben. Es war keine Sauce auf der pizza, man konnte fast durchschauen, so dünn war sie und es war - außer die Morzarellascheiben, kein Käse auf der Pizza. Ich habe sowas noch nie gesehen!!! Sie war trocken, hart und geschmacklos. Mein Mann hat sie wieder zurück gebracht. Positiv, daher 3 Sterne, wir haben das Geld zurück erhalten. Aber die Antwort des Personals war echt frech: Dann sollten wir demnächst mit extra Tomatensauce bestellen. Das war leider das letzt Mal. Für Eis abdolut ok und lecker...alles andere wird dort nicht mehr geholt

Leckere niederländische Snacks, aber auch die Pizza ist lecker. Morgens gibt es ein gutes Frühstück. Preislich inzwischen etwas angezogen, aber im Rahmen.

45 minuten op 1 frietje staan wachten. De friet was lekker, maar voor een grote friet( en dito prijs) erg weinig. Medewerkster reageerde onfatsoenlijk toen ik vroeg naar de voortgang van de bestelling.(mijn vraag had ik beleefd en vriendelijk gesteld, een reactie op dezelfde wijze leek mij niet meer dan gepast) Ik zou als tip willen geven, of het bestelsysteem aan te passen of de keuken capaciteit vergroten. Het was wat drukker, dit kan de keuken, personeel of/en jullie bestel systeem niet goed aan. Mooie omgeving, mooie camping. Prima eten voor een snackbar.

Wij hadden via social deal een lunch gekocht. Doordat we niet uit de omgeving kwamen wisten we de weg niet en alles was opgebroken in Renesse dus het was even zoeken aangezien dit restaurant ,of eigenlijk meer kantine , niet in het dorp ligt maar op een camping een stukje buiten Renesse , waren we dus "te laat". Het restaurant was leeg en toch vond de medewerker het nodig om ons terecht te wijzen op onze late aankomst. Prima.. dat mag. Geen probleem. Vervolgens werd er verwacht dat we voor aankomst al hadden bedacht wat we wilden eten... en was de medewerker geïrriteerd dat we de kaart even wilden zien. We waren maar met zn tweeën en bestelden 1 bruin broodje en 1 wit broodje. En wat te drinken. Het restaurant/kantine was nog steeds leeg er waren geen andere bestelling en en toch kregen ze het voor elkaar om onze bestelling verkeerd te doen (knap hoor). Affijn wij hebben het er maar bij gelaten aangezien we de medewerker al genoeg hadden geïrriteerd 😉 De erwtensoep was prima. Het broodje was redelijk (veel te veel saus) Wij komen hier nooit meer terug in iedergeval.

Donderdag on Tour. We waren al enthousiast over Eb & Vloed, het restaurant van De Juliana Hoeve dus dachten we waarom ook niet Foodcourt 42 uitproberen, het cafetaria van dit kampeer en beachresort. Het culinaire landschap is breder dan alleen het wandelpad dus waarom ook niet even in de bosjes kijken. En ik moet zeggen, voor een gelegenheid als deze, we waren weer aangenaam verrast. Het gaat natuurlijk over krijg je waar voor je geld. En dat is zeker het geval. Een vriendelijk ontvangst, dus op voorhand al blij. Hertog-Jan Weizen met een Engels schuimlaagje. En een goed gevulde Pizza. Menig Siciliaan zou zich natuurlijk in zijn graf omdraaien bij een pizza Chicken BBQ maar ik had er wel zin in. De pizza van Muriël had iets gevulder gekunt. Nu was de verhouding pizza-vulling iets uit balans. Een verbeterpuntje, de pizza was snel wat afgekoeld dus ik verdenk een (te) koud bord. Ok en dan nu de conclusie. Is het pizza restaurant niveau zoals bij La Strada of De Pizzeria in Zierikzee? Nee dat niet. Was het smakelijk en waar voor je geld, absoluut. Na een druk dagje camping zou het hier goed snavelen zijn. We werden weer netjes uitgezwaaid en zo hebben we wederom dit park met een tevreden gevoel verlaten. Net op tijd voordat het horrorwinterweer los barstte..

Das Essen vor Ort war gut und stand in einem angemessenem Verhältnis zum verlangten Preis. Jedoch lies die Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter sehr zu wünschen übrig ! Teile der Bestellung wurden vergessen und auf Nachfrage wurde sehr pampig reagiert. Ich brauche es nicht nochmal ! Schade eigentlich da das Essen echt in Ordnung war. Aber Freundlichkeit ist ein Bumerang…

Vorweg Essen und Getränke stehen in einem Preis- Leistungsverhältnis welches in Ordnung ist. Hingegen waren die Mitarbeiter heute an Unfreundlichkeit nicht zu überbieten. Essen wurde vergessen und auf mehrfache Nachfrage wurde nur schnippisch reagiert. Mit dem Service steht und fällt eben alles. Auch wenn man einen schlechten Tag hat oder überfordert ist, sollte man nicht vergessen das man in einer Dienstleistungsbranche arbeitet. Keine Ahnung ob ich mir das nochmal an tue....

Das Ambiente ist okay. Es orientiert sich am Design des Campingplatz und hat daher seinen Charm. Das Essen ist günstig und dementsprechend auch von billiger Qualität. Ich hatte Gyros an einem Tag da war das was als Fleisch bezeichnet wird nicht mal annähernd Fleisch sondern rohe brocken ohne Geschmack. Pommes werden scheinbar nie mit Gewürzen Bedacht und schmecken daher etwas fad für meinen Geschmack. Aber was die Krönung ist war am darauf folgendem Tag die Pizza mit Meeresfrüchte. Die waren erstens nicht mal annähernd durch noch waren sie warm eher Kalt. Die Pizza mit Schinken die ich hatte war drückt ich es vorsichtig aus war für den aufgerufen Preis nicht gerechtfertigt. Ich würde daher wenn man Pizza möchte in ein anderes Restaurant zu gehen oder sogar eine Tiefkühlkost Pizza bevorzugen. Für im Notfall oder einen sehr schmalen Geldbeutel mag das gehen aber wenn man gerne und gut ist ist dies eine komplette Enttäuschung.
