Waardeloze tent , arrogante gastvrouw met grote bek , Vrienden hier gegeten en zeer slecht , absoluut geen aanrader , zijn beter zaken in Renesse

Enttäuscht vom Essen ( lieblos angerichtetes , dem Anschein nach Mikrowellenessen ) und unfreundlicher lustloser Bedienung. Bereits das Besteck wurde uns auf den Tisch "geworfen ".

Voor ons de beste plek in Renesse en omgeving om te eten . Serveren als enige sliptong een aanrader. Personeel heel behulpzaam en aardig.

Uiteten met 14 man. Bediening erg onbeleefd, ze reageerden niet op wat we vraagde en bleven aan een kant van de tafel staan en wij moesten alles doorgeven terwijl hier plek genoeg voor was. Geen locatie om als stel uitgebreid en sfeervol te eten. Snel opdienen, snel weg, volgende. Eten zelf was zeer matig en fantasieloos. Wat ons echter het meest stoorde was het feit dat de eigenaresse haar personeel in bijzijn van een vol terras luidruchtig en autoritair 'corrigeerde' Het zou professioneler zijn om dat even uit het zicht en buiten het gehoor van de gasten te doen. We vonden het erg gênant om hier getuige van te zijn en erg sneu voor het betreffende personeel.

Wat een slechte ervaring wij staan 20 jaar op de camping maar dit nog nooit meegemaakt, op de camping gingen verhalen maar toch eerst proberen dan oordelen. De ervaring is uitermate slecht

Heerlijk gegeten , sfeer was goed . Goede en vriendelijke bediening/ eigenaar. Ruime kaart, lekker terras scheelde ook heerlijk weer

Het restaurant heeft een aparte ruimte voor de kinderen, wat leuk is zodat zij hier heerlijk kunnen spelen. De menu is uitgebreid maar voor de sauzen moet het niet doen.

Restaurant dans lequel nous sommes entrés par hasard celui dans lequel nous voulions allés étant fermés. Ce fut une belle surprise, le personnel est très agréable et a fait son maximum pour que nous puissions nous comprendre. Les plats étaient bons et cela pour un prix tout à fait raisonnable. Je recommande !

Personeel onvriendelijk, wensen kwa eten (gaarheid steak en geen bacon op de burger) werden genegeerd. Rauwe bleke steak’s en burger mét bacon dus) Vette friet. Kleine porties. Wij zaten aan tafel 15 vlakbij de bar. Personeel erg luidruchtig én de afwasmachine stond daar ook. Werd met veel herrie gevuld en geleefd. Iemand van het personeel liet iets vallen blijkbaar, enorme herrie als gevolg. De dame achter de bar vind het geweldig blijkbaar en schreeuwde het rond… Om de 10 minuten kwam er iemand vragen of we nog wat te drinken wilden. Vuile borden en glazen moesten we zelf maar aan de kant zetten. Toen er bij het afrekenen werd gevraagd of alles naar wens werd geweest, werd er op onze kritiek niet gereageerd. Er werd zelfs niet bedankt voor de fooi die we toch nog gaven. Mensen, ga ergens anders uit eten als je in Renesse bent!

Wir haben ein Wiener Schnitzel gegessen das war geschmacklich nicht wirklich gut die Pilz Soße war geschmacklos. Es war an stellen auch schwarz gebraten und hatte nicht wirklich was mit einem „Wiener Schnitzel“ zu tun. Pommes waren ok. Kam mir rüber wie ein Tiefkühl' Schnitzel. Für den Preis nicht akzeptabel. Ambiente war sehr schön. Bedienung war ok. Ich würde das nächste mal ein anderes Restaurant besuchen.

Had a nice meal again. Super friendly service. These people stand for their profession and carry it out with passion. Highly recommended. Just eat there.

At first we were turned away by a waitress. There were five of us. Then we asked another waitress who kindly invited us to the counter to wait for a seat. We then got a very comfortable table within two minutes. Here we were served quickly, organized and friendly. Five stars for this, but three stars deducted for the rejection at the beginning. We ordered mussels. Great class! Appetizer carpacio with mayonnaise... well. Mayonnaise was even served with the mussels. The rest of the food came from the hairdresser, but that's what we know from Dutch cuisine. 5 meals, two starters and just beer for 180 euros. Wow. So it can be better. Nevertheless, a huge compliment to the service, who served us so well.

Nice place with friendly people. I ordered the cheeseburger and it was delicious.

Very nice to eat or drink there

Came here as a motorcyclist, extremely friendly staff. Never seen or spoken to such nice people before. I even spoke to the owner, she works with the staff. She sets the atmosphere so high. I go here more often. Highly recommended 6/5 stars!!!

Tasty food. Friendly and fast service!

Waren mit unserer 7-jährigen Tochter im August 2024 dort. Wir waren 2x dort, da wir Muscheln essen wollten (ich und Tochter). Das erste mal waren sie ausgezeichnet, das zweite mal auch gut, aber mit zu viel Pfeffer, was nicht ganz so optimal war für die Tochter. Der Rest des Essens ist wirklich eher durchschnittlich. Die Bedienung war flott und gemischt freundlich. Lage am Platz ist schön.

I ordered the cheeseburger and canceled the salad. As a side dish, unfriendly staff instead. For the current price of a whopping €19, a small bucket of fries is far too little. I have to say the beef patty was juicy and generous, I estimate it was 200-300g. Long story short: Burger great, price too expensive... Visit again: No! Feel free to convince yourself!!

Deze keer latte macciato geen succes. 80 cent voor karamelsaus die je nauwelijks proeft. Geen koekje bij de koffie. Anderen wel een koekje Matige bediening. Klacht over karamelsaus niet serieus genomen. Kom niet meer terug

This place is quite busy, but they usually have room without reservations, so you just wait a while. The food is good but a lot....

Really nice cafe/restaurant. Super friendly staff. The toilets are clean. The food is also recommended. This is a great place for a stopover when there is a market or if you are simply strolling through the city.

Een fijne plek om te zitten. Een fijn verwarmd terras. Prima om hier iets te drinken. Het eten was niet super, maar dat is wellicht persoonlijk. Even een tip voor de eigenaar, let op je personeel. Als het personeel openbaar op een terras wat vol zit elkaar af gaat zeiken is niet netjes. Zeuren en klagen is goed, maar doe dit achter in een ruimte niet openbaar! Los daarvan, een mooie zaak maar ik zal er niet meer terug komen!

Lieve mensen van het Wapen, Bedankt dat wij, als BlaasVaak, ons jaarlijkse Festival aan Zee Renesse weekend weer bij jullie mochten afsluiten! Weer super verzorgd, fijn dat we met een (niet altijd even rustige) groep van 31 mensen bij jullie terecht konden. Tot volgend jaar!

BlaasVaak uit Bunnik neemt elk jaar deel aan Festival aan Zee. Als afsluiting hebben we, voor de tweede keer, gegeten bij het wapen van Zeeland, Renesse. We zijn als groep van 31 personen niet altijd even rustig, toch blijft het personeel super vriendelijk en snel in de bediening! Naast lekker betaalbaar eten, is de gastvrijheid ook geweldig! Tot volgend jaar!

Excellent restaurant in terms of price/quality ratio. Only the sometimes rude service is a huge downer. Not against us, but against other guests. Maybe it's their humor but there are guests who don't appreciate the comments. And FYI. German tourists bring in a lot of money!

We had to wait a bit to get a table outside. This was done professionally (waiting inside at the counter; the next table that was free was then for us). The service was great! Super fast and very friendly! The staff could be spoken to in German. The food was good at reasonable prices. The selection of drinks was also decent.

Wir mussten kurz warten, um einen Tisch im Außenbereich zu bekommen. Das lief professionell ab (Warten drinnen an der Theke; der nächste freigewordene Tisch war dann für uns). Der Service war klasse! Super schnell und sehr freundlich! Das Personal konnte auf Deutsch angesprochen werden. Das Essen war gut zu angemessenen Preisen. Die Getränkeauswahl war ebenfalls ordentlich.

Extremely unfriendly staff. After waiting for a long time and being passed several times by different waiters without even looking up friendly, we asked if we could take a seat. (2 adults, 1 child and 1 baby in stroller). We were sent back and forth very rudely and eventually we were asked 3 times how many people there were. We were given a table for 2 where there was very little space and she said that the stroller could be put inside around the corner... And the baby? ... We were really half snubbed. Never experienced that before. Afterwards at Anders (around the corner) the staff was very friendly. Too bad, but what curmudgeons...

Wir sind spontan mit einer größeren Gruppe von 12 Personen in einer Hauptstoßzeit zum Essen in das Restaurant gekommen. Das Serviceteam hat alles zuvorkommend und souverän geregelt, auffallend besser und freundlicher als in allen anderen Lokalen in Renesse, in denen wir waren. Wir haben uns sehr willkommen gefühlt. Ein aufmerksames eingespieltes und entspanntes Service-Team. Die wichtigste Grundlange für einen schönen Abend.

Very good. We discovered this place among all the other places to eat in Renesse and WE WERE RIGHT!!! The varied food options, for all tastes, with vegetarian and healthy options. The portion of the dishes is good, and the prices seemed cheap to take into account the area. I definitely recommend it and would return!! Super friendly staff and efficient and correct service. It is adapted to people with reduced mobility, which is appreciated

Sorry not recommended 3 out of 4 food complaints. Wasn't really noticed by the operator. Service unable to calculate and we won't be visiting the store again.

Just not tasty. Spareribs looked like they came from the supermarket and were lukewarm, making the meat stiff and not tender. Food factory.

I had ordered mussels and was supposed to dig into fries and salad with the person sitting next to me. Sorry, for 25.50 for a handful of mussels that didn't taste great, that's just inappropriate and wrong

Super sweet and friendly service, you are helped quickly and treated with respect. The food was also tasty and not too expensive, so the price-quality ratio was really great. We had delicious fresh mussels with 3 sauces and fries, and a tasty salad. I'd say worth a try.

Very Dutch. Nice terrace, fast service. Bitterballen good, salads average, without any special accents, the Thai salad really had nothing in it except green lettuce and cucumber and a few nuts. Suitable as a snack. Sodas expensive (€3.40 for a 20cl of water).

Terrace is ok. The food is horrible and expensive. All just the cheapest ingredients. Rather not.

Mooie zaak, nog mooier terras. 4 volwassenen, 3 Kids. 160 € 2 x schnitzel, 1 x burger, 1x ribjes en 3 pannekoeken, plus drankjes en 6 desserts.

Only "real" restaurant in Renesse. No deep fryers of any kind. Great food.

Service is quick and attentive. If you don't speak the language, someone who can (better) will be sent. You should try the Pannekoeken. Do not use steak well-done, it will dry out quickly. Hamburgers are good. Just real hamburgers, not fast food stuff. Unfortunately, they skimp on salad dressing. A pity.

The food was OK, the service was terrible. We were with 6 people, and 2 babies. We immediately got a not that we should move the baby carriages out of the way. Which we promptly did, but as were in the corner, we didn't see the harm. But we moved them anyway. As 1 of the babies needed changing, 2 people left the table to do that. Then she came by to take our orders, but we asked here for 2 minutes because not everybody of our party was here. She gave us the comment "we have all day", with a very annoying undertone. She clearly didn't mean it, as she stormed off. 3 minutes later she came, back and we ordered. We ordered our food, we got it from a waiter that was very friendly. Gave us the food with a smile. Between the time of ordering and getting our food, she came back to tell us they didn't have mussels. We luckily already had a backup plan. But why do you put boards outside, advertising the mussels if you don't have any. While we were eating, we a saw an elderly couple come up to sit at a table close to us. She scolded them, because they had to wait till the table was cleared. The elderly couple were a little touched by that apparently, but they waited and sat down afterwards. In the end, when she came to clear the table, we asked if she could bring back the bill. We were scolded again, because we had to wait a minute till she was done clearing the table. I can understand you want to finish your things before starting something else, but there are different ways to explain this to your clients. I don't think we are the hardest clients, (and the elderly couple definitely weren't), but she did give us a hard time. I will not go back here, just because she was so unfriendly. Even though the food was nice. But if you go dine out, you want the full package.

Lovely warm conservatory and the atmosphere inside feels warm. Friendly staff . The snitzel was difficult to cut and stringy. The kibbeling was greasy and unseasoned. Too bad about such a top location.

Very tasty food at reasonable prices. Staff was very friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Went there with 4 people and all the dishes were great. Steak was on point. Mussels were very tasty and plentiful. Schnitzel was good. Squid rings were the best I've ever eaten in Europe. Unfortunately I didn't take any photos but it certainly wasn't the last time we were there. :-)
