Sat on the patio. The staff wasn't friendly. Clearly not in the mood. We weren't asked if we wanted to order anything. The patio has no atmosphere.

A little disappointed by the service, I had ordered an avocado and salmon toast without avocado because I hate this fruit and unfortunately my toast arrived completely green! The nachos were standard, nothing extraordinary. That said, the staff were friendly and I didn't want to bother them for taking the wrong order :))

We sat outside on the patio under a parasol in the rain. The food was sparse and unpretentious. There was barely any avocado to be found on the salmon and avocado sandwich spread, making it very dry. A small bowl of mayonnaise on the side would have done wonders, but unfortunately, it was missing. There was also no small salad or garnish for the dish. After all, the eye wants something too. The service was inconsistent. One person couldn't crack a smile, while another was somewhat friendlier. All in all, I wouldn't return.

We wanted to have a drink at Mr. Nilsson's on Sunday. When we tried to sit down, we were told they were closed and that we and other guests were no longer welcome. There were still plenty of tables available. How can you say "hospitable" hospitality?

I wouldn't recommend it. The food was rather disappointing in terms of value for money. The wrap (11 euros) was extremely small, more of a snack than a lunch dish, and it didn't come with a salad or anything. The fried egg sandwich (uitsmijter) for 15 euros was also rather meager (see photos). Otherwise, the drinks were tasty, and the interior is nicely decorated.

Always fun and delicious there, but I think €3.80 for a soft drink is a bit steep. It's not that expensive anywhere else.

Cozy restaurant in a prime location. Nice interior, jazz music. Very friendly service. Food arrived quickly and tasted great. Coffee with apple pie and stroopwafel cheesecake were also excellent.

Well, WhoCuisine is more of a who cares here? Instead of culinary highlights, there are bland sandwiches that make you wonder if the toppings are still stuck in traffic. Lovingly prepared? Rather carelessly discarded. Non-alcoholic drinks are boldly advertised as "0.0%" – but actually contain up to 0.5%. Well then: cheers to consumer deception! If you ask questions, you're met with looks that range somewhere between "not my problem" and "don't bother me." The place feels like a fast food restaurant in a sightseeing outfit: designed with a touristy look in mind, but with no real interest in the customer. Sustainability? Not really. The bottom line: If you're hungry, you'll be full here – if you're looking for enjoyment, it's best to walk past safely.

A truly fantastic place! Beautifully decorated, a lovely atmosphere, and delicious food. Beautifully presented plates, and the service is incredibly friendly. I have a few annoying allergies/intolerances and always feel embarrassed to complain about them, but the ladies were incredibly understanding and helpful. Thanks for your service!

Overall, a good shop. Prices are reasonable – the cake was delicious. The shop is cute and modern. It leaves a good impression.

At the end of June 25, we organized a three-day cycling holiday in the region with four couples. During one of our trips, we went for a drink at the market in Zierikzee. There was room on the large terrace of this business. We were served quickly and very friendly. A pleasant business where you can order anything. Even though we only had a drink, our attention was drawn to a table where a rich breakfast was served. Apparently recommended. Conclusion: A business among many others where you can enjoy a drink and/or a quick bite. Price quality is OK according to Dutch standards. In my opinion, the prices in Belgium are somewhat more democratic.

Cozy atmosphere for a good breakfast or a nice coffee even on Monday morning!

We stopped there during our round on the racing bike. Great spot on the terrace. Nice square. Delicious stroopwafel cheesecake.

Super nice atmosphere inside; warm and homely. We ordered the smoothie bowl and American pancakes (breakfast). Everything tasted very good. Recommended!

Cute Café/Restaurant in the heart of Zierikzee, we went there cause of the gluten free options and were super happy. Dog friendly as well, big plus for us! They had water bowls ready :) Nice location, great customer service and the food was fabulous!

Cozy atmosphere and had an excellent breakfast

Went for lunch on Sunday afternoon, it was very busy inside and luckily there was a table free. We were welcomed friendly and our order was taken. Inside it is tastefully decorated, our round tables were a bit small. And because of a pram we could only sit next to each other instead of opposite each other. This was not convenient during the meal, on the wall was a sign with the text prams, balloons etc. park outside but there were several inside. But anyway, the food was well prepared, service was good and toilets were clean. Our second visit was again a pleasure.

Unfortunately we had a bad experience. Last had a baby shower at this location. Was supposed to be from 2 to 4 pm. At 1.30 pm we agreed that we could decorate but no table was ready. At 2 pm we had to surprise the pregnant woman and then still no table. Asked if they could put some decorations on the table during that time when we were gone because we could no longer do that. Yes this was possible but when we returned this had not happened. At the table at 2.10 pm and at 3.10 pm the first tea pots were on the table. However, the high tea itself did not arrive on the table until 3.30 pm. After waiting for 1.5 hours the quality was minimal. Dried out sandwiches and not versatile. The tea that was ordered afterwards did not even arrive on the table. When we complained we got the answer that it was busy but no understanding. Not recommended!

Really good pancakes, nice place and polite service

The service is friendly. However... there were more tables besides us who had to wait a long time for their ordered dishes. The waiter explained that it was busy in the kitchen. If you see very few plates coming out of the kitchen, it seems to me more a matter of understaffing or perhaps even someone who had no experience with catering kitchens at all. Anyway... be honest about this and let the guests know when the order is taken. The ordered dishes are already heavily priced and also few and not really tasty. The wrap is completely flattened and barely contains any filling.

Just my favorite spot in Zierikzee. Even after multiple years I still come back for their great coffee and baked goods! The staff is very kind and the ambience in the cafe is just amazing. I really recommend grabbing a coffee at Meneer Nilsson!

In a beautiful and old building in Zierikzee is this catering establishment. Atmosphere is nice and relaxed. Staff is very friendly. You can get everything here also vegetarian dishes. Located on a beautiful square with monumental buildings. Recommended to step in here.

Due to private circumstances we wanted to pick up the high tea instead of eating it at Mr. Nilsson. Thanks to the thoughtful staff and the good service we had a delicious high tea at home! 5 stars for the service, thoughtfulness and the food!

We went home hungry because they had not placed our order correctly. We didn't feel like waiting again because it was too busy to quickly make our food for us. A bit of a shame...

Enjoyed a high tea! A storey full of delicious, freshly prepared, homemade puff pastry snacks, scones and cakes. Just a bit different than usual, highly recommended!! The staff very friendly. Worth repeating.

A nice restaurant. We were both happy with the food. My partner had the Nilsson Citizen and I had one of the vegetarian dishes. Both were well seasoned and nicely presented. In general there was a large selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes. The cakes are also highly recommended.

Strangely enough, contrary to most reviews here, not a good experience. I had a pulled chicken wrap and my girlfriend had flat bread haloumi. Flat bread was very dry and hard. The wrap was simply not tasty... Very simply made and did not taste good. For the price of 12 euros you expect something more. The tzatziki sauce also does not match the wrap, no other vegetables in between, only the pulled chicken + cheddar... The appetizer garnish was also not of much use. Drinks were okay. Strange and sad. Friendly service and nice location. But unfortunately we won't be back.

Nice place for lunch. Lots of choice in food and drinks. Crispy chicken on sourdough bread was 10/10. Service also very friendly.

Cute little restaurant in the middle of the city. Good cafe and cheesecake with stroopwafles and other specialties. There is also a children's corner with beautiful wooden toys.

Very friendly staff with short waiting times. Food tastes great and the hot cocoa tastes very good too. It is very old rustically furnished which creates a beautiful environment. Overall, I think it's very nice there and would recommend it to others.

Great coffee, only the pastry wasn't really pastry. Raspberry cake turned out to be cottage cheese/yogurt with fruit and muesli, damn tasty. Seemed like breakfast...and that before 1100 hours.

Spontaneous attempt to stop for a break. Tables empty inside, (almost) full outside. Were turned away with 4 people because there was no staff. But there were probably 5 waitresses on the way. It's a shame, but then not...

It all looks super neat and it is also nicely decorated inside. I opted for iced tea and a ham/cheese sandwich. The bread was delicious and the eggs were well baked, but for the price we expected a lot more. Perhaps add a salad or something else tasty. Definitely recommended and lots of choice.

Overall, the food in the restaurant was okay. We had the Nilsson Burger twice, once in the gluten-free version, as well as a large bottle of water. The taste of the food was ok. The burger was well prepared and tasty. However, we found the prices to be excessive. Charging €16 for a burger and then charging an additional €1.50 extra for the gluten-free version is simply too much. The large bottle of water for €7 was also around €1.50 more expensive compared to other places in the area. Although the service was very friendly, it seemed a bit chaotic, which somewhat marred the overall experience. Despite the good taste of the food, the value for money and the organization of the service leave room for improvement.

Goede taart en koffie. Vriendelijk personeel. Lief voor honden. Gezellig zitten. zowel binnen als buiten. Buiten vinden wij direct aan het huis leuker dan grote terras. Dat is wat meer doorsnee. Binnen en aan huis zelf heel leuk zitten.

Everything is extremely expensive. Absolutely avoid this place. We had ordered a burata salad that was supposed to contain tomatoes and olives, but there were only two cherry tomatoes that were halved and three olives on the plate, the burata was extremely small and all for the price of €13. Even the hot chocolate for €6 was just a mixture of water and powder. A pure disappointment. The environment is also loud and stressful after a whole day in the city. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Wij bestelden een koffie en een Latte Macchiato. Toen mijn vrouw de Latte Macchiato kreeg hadden we al het idee dat dit net een glas warme melk was, aangezien hij heel wit was en er nagenoeg geen koffie inzat. Wij zagen bij anderen, die Latte bestelden, wel een normale Latte kleur. Toen wij de serveerster hierop aanspraken en vroegen of er ook iets koffie in mocht, omdat het net een glas warme melk was, ging ze dit doen. We kregen de Latte Macchiato terug, ietsje donkerder van kleur, maar nog steeds geen Latte smaak. De prijs van de Latte was 4,50 euro, dus verwacht je toch een lekker bakje voor die prijs. Tot onze grote verbazing werd er bij het afrekenen 2,00 euro extra gerekend!!! Toen we het personeel vroegen waar dit voor was, werd ons verteld dat dat voor het extra beetje koffie was, wat ze bij onze Latte ingedaan hadden. Wij hebben onze verbazing en ongenoegen hierover uitgesproken, maar het moest gewoon betaald worden! DUS 6,50 euro VOOR DE ALLER SLECHTSTE LATTE MACCHIATO OOIT DOOR MIJ GEDRONKEN.

It took way too long for us to receive our drinks, it took much longer for the ordered food to arrive and the croquettes were cold. Waitresses were friendly, but we did not have a pleasant experience

Nice and beautiful place for a snack and/or drink. I had the pita chicken here, well filled with crispy fried chicken and mozzarella and pesto. My girlfriend the scones with jam and fruit. Staff are very friendly. Prices can be on the expensive side. My pita chicken was €10.00 so normally priced. On the other hand, for the self-composed drinks board, a bowl of natural chips, I think 50 grams, costs € 4.00 and requires no preparation. That's what you buy 500 grams of chips in the supermarket. If we are in the area again we will definitely eat here again, the menu is extensive.

A nice, hip place to drink a nice cup of coffee and enjoy something tasty with it. Unfortunately the cappuccino came with a huge foot bath which was no reason for the waitress who saw it to correct her mistake. Then asked inside for a napkin to clear things up. When paying, I indicated that the item was not completely satisfactory and the colleague concerned apologized with; “it wasn't my fault.” Girls, you work hard but still have something to learn. Two months later we had a delicious coffee and a small snack. Excellent care and simply cozy and good!!

Iets vóór de lunch geweest. Zaten heerlijk en super gegeten. Mensen die rond 12u00 voor de lunch kwamen hadden minder geluk denk ik, door de drukte weinig zitplekken en volgens mij ging de service daarvoor wat achteruit. Niet onvoorkomelijk, maar met het zalige eten snap ik die drukte. Mijn tip: ga dus al iets vroeger dan lunchtijd. Leuke tip: er is ook een spellen-"menu"kaart!

Fantastisch geluncht! Ontzettend vriendelijke bediening in de locatie Goes

We zijn hier in de herfstvakantie wezen lunchen en later ook nog een keer ontbijten. Wat een goed idee. Verassende kaart en heerlijk eten! Tijdens het ontbijt konden we een spelletje doen. Ze hebben heel assortiment om uit te kiezen.

We gingen voor de wraps met falafel en halloumi, die heerlijk warm werden geserveerd. Allebei een aanrader, erg lekker! Drinken (cappuccino en red velvet latte) was oké, niet bijzonder goed of slecht. Net te weinig warmtelamp buiten, maar al met al een prima plek voor een lekkere lunch. Veel verschillende opties en veel vega.

We schoven hier even binnen voor een lekkere cappuccino met een lekker taartje. Gezellige inrichting, lekker no-nonsense. Leuke geste was de mogelijkheid om een ouderwets bordspelletje te doen aan tafel.

Ein wunderschönes, gemütliches Café mit einem tollen Konzept. Unfassbar leckeres Frühstück und selbst gemachter Kuche ( Die Brownies ♡) und eine tolle Auswahl an ausgefallen Getränke. Aber auch der Kaffee schmeckt fantastisch!

Modernes Restaurant mitten in Zierikzee. Freundliche Bedienung auch in Englisch, sehr köstliche mit Blaubeeren gefüllte Pfannkuchen. Große Portion drei Pfannkuchen mit Ahornsirup und Beeren garniert. Wir haben eine Portion geteilt und waren begeistert.

Preis-Leistung beim Essen nicht korrekt ! Vollkommen überteuerte Frühstücksvariation. Statt 30 EU für 2 Personen war vom Wareneinsatz her maximal Ware im Wert von 7 Euro auf dem Teller. Es war frisch. Die Scheibe Käse und Schinken pro Person abgepackte Ware. Je 1 Spiegelei, 1 Scone, zusammen 1 TL fertig Marmelade, 1TL Frischkäse 1TL Humus. 2 Scheiben Brot. Für 1 Tl Fertigbutter mussten wir extra fragen.

Nette Kellnerinnen, toller Cheesecake mit Stroopwaffeln und der Chai Latte sehr lecker! Preis Leistung stimmt :). Die letzten Jahre sind die Preise in den Niederlanden stark gestiegen (so wie überall) aber die Leistung sind nicht überall angepasst. Wir haben uns sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Vielen Dank :).

Een high beer met Zeeuws witbiertje. Lekker fris. De hapjes er bij waren lekker en passend bij de vokgende biertjes.
