In short: Michelin may award stars, but here they work with ladles. Highly recommended for anyone who believes modesty is a fine quality, but not when it comes to sauce.

Like a true fat connoisseur. Once I was sitting on my fat ass, I was still yelled at to pick up my order, even though there was no one sitting on the terrace. Really a FAT shame. The food was fine. Food truck in a nice spot to sit down for a bit by the roadside. Tasty food. Delicious bear claw with tasty satay sauce. The French fries are nice and crispy. Sauce is served on the fries and is generously portioned. However, there was quite a long wait (20 min) even though it was quiet.

Very greasy fries. The stall was also dirty, and so were the tables and chairs. We were very disappointed. The young people at the stall were noisy.

The fries were dripping with grease and there is absolutely nothing “artisanal” about the meatball! The staff shouts your order across the street when it’s ready; just ask for a name or something. Shame, nice place, but very disappointing.

It was lovely sitting in the shade for a while during a motorcycle ride. There are two picnic tables and some chairs, perfectly fine. They have good snacks, menus, cold drinks, and some ice cream. Lovely people, great atmosphere.

I bought a meatball sandwich here for the first time this afternoon. Rarely, if ever, have I tasted anything better. Truly exceptional with a bit of a kick. At first, I thought €6.30 was a bit pricey, but the ball is very big and well worth it!

This is something special, a 500g meatball. That is a whole meal. And very tasty too. Just as a meatball should be. I’d say it’s highly recommended for big eaters or those who can handle a lot. I really enjoyed eating it. And this was a meatball I will definitely come back for.

Legendary place. Don't expect too much from the exterior. Seating is also limited (I was there in the winter, which might explain a lot). The service is friendly and quick. Some advice is also given. We ordered the super meatball and were told that it was really big. Well, nothing could be further from the truth. What a whopper that thing is! 500 grams of pure meatball in a bath of satay sauce, what more could you want?

The food was okay. The cutlery was a disaster and kept breaking. Unfortunately, we also had to wait quite a long time, and the atmosphere was nonexistent. There's definitely room for improvement.

The fries here are super well-prepared and delicious. You used to get more fries for your money, but I think that's probably due to inflation and the fact that everything has become more expensive. It's often busy, but you're helped immediately, although you still have to wait for your order after you've placed it. This is also due to the constant stream of phone orders. It's better to order before 5:00 PM; it's much quieter then. The staff is friendly, at least the woman taking the cutlery. The rest is pretty much nonsensical. There are chairs to sit on while you wait, and you stay dry if it rains. Whenever I'm there, I always have to grab fries; I can't help it! Delicious!!

Beautifully situated in the woods near 't Harde. We always eat here when we're in the area. We really like it.

This is a place we love to visit for delicious food! It would be nice if there were more vegetarian options, but nonetheless, it's a cozy place, fast service, and delicious food!

We've eaten there several times. Everything was good – except for the last time on August 9, 2025. The only complaint was the otherwise delicious fries – this time, they had leftover fries mixed in. It's a shame – please do better next time. Sincerely,

Everything is very tasty and healthy, they cook quickly. But there are not enough trash cans in the parking lot, and those that are there are full

Nice place, especially for travelers, to eat something. Everything is well organized and fast service. Last year I ate fries and hot chicken here which was really great so it was on the program again. Due to the crowds, the chicken had been left on the baking sheet for a bit too long. No problem for me because it was still delicious. Only the sauce remained on the sheet. Tip: ask the customer if there should be any other sauce, now the whole thing was a bit dry.

We had Frikandel, a kind of bratwurst with fries. It was delicious 😋. Thank you, the staff were very nice.

It was busy. But despite that, friendly service. Hot chicken delicious, as well as the fries and fricandel special. Compliments to the girls, they work hard to keep up with everything.

This afternoon I bought 2 special hamburger sandwiches and fries with curry. 500 meters drive by car. Burger were cold. Such a shame. Heat up a pan of hamburgers at home.

Quickly scored a nice portion of French fries at Foppen. The bear snack and frikandel special also tasted great. Beautiful spot along the Eperweg.

Very tasty snack, a must if you come here. You have to take some time, but it's worth it!

Enjoyed some delicious fries and a bami slice.

Normally I am a big fan of this chip shop, but today was a huge disappointment. We ordered a large fries war without onion and a children's fries. We also ordered a shawarma roll with garlic, a Mexicano with peanut sauce, a minced meat stick with peanut sauce and a bami disk. To start with, we got a small fries war instead of a big one. So it came in a small container with a separate small container for the sauce. There was nothing in the separate small container (not even fries) but all the sauce had been poured over it, so there was more sauce on the inside of the paper bag than on the fries themselves. In addition, the fries were cold and limp when we got home. (Undercooked) The nasi disk was not properly cooked. He was very fat and squishy. Not nice and crispy on the outside like normal. The shawarma roll was the same. Also very soggy and not a crispy outside. Just like sinking your teeth into a sponge. We also ordered garlic sauce with the shawarma roll. Well, when I say it came with 2 teaspoons of garlic sauce, I'm grossly exaggerating. The shawarma roll, the minced meat stick and the Mexicano were placed in the sauce, so you couldn't just eat it with your hands. Then everything was put into one bag. I am used to them always placing the fries neatly on top so that the sauce does not stick to the bag, but this time the fries were placed at the bottom of the bag with the rest on top, resulting in more sauce on the bag. The inside of the bag was then on the fries themselves I live less than a 2-minute drive from this chip shop. So I'll be home quickly if I pick up something. Normally everything is still very hot when I pick up something from them, but today everything was literally lukewarm. What I also thought was a very strange action was that they started asking visitors for a tip for someone who worked there for the last time today. The fact that someone works somewhere for the last time may be special for them, but certainly not for the average customer. In addition, I think it is the boss's job to provide someone who has worked for him or her for 17 years with a nice farewell bonus. You should not ask the customer this.

I stopped here with the truck and had a really tasty meal....for a chip shop that is definitely recommended.....always a pleasure....

Strange, interesting, but delicious.

On Whit Monday, get some fries with your family because then you'll have eaten something when you have to go home for an hour afterwards. For 6 people, fries, mayo and 6 snacks. Then you could normally continue driving in half an hour. Well not here. We had to wait an hour and a half before we finally got our order. And not only us but also other people. And was it extremely busy? No. People were also not kept informed and new customers were not told how long the waiting time was. And then you finally have your order and it's still not correct. And the fries are undercooked. Food mediocre. Service very poor. Atmosphere was excellent, but that was due to the other customers with whom we were able to make extensive contact. After all, we had an hour and a half to chat....

Went here on Whit Monday to have something to eat. Upon arrival, a guest complained that it took a very long time. We asked an employee how long it would take. She said half an hour. Well, absolutely fine. We had our fries and snacks in half an hour. Delicious food and nice chat with the employees. It's a shame that other guests were so influenced by each other and were therefore very negative. And was very rude to the staff. Very embarrassing…. We will definitely visit again!

Actually a very good snack cart with very tasty fries and top snacks. Friendly women too. Only you have to wait more than an hour for two fries and two snacks. They keep taking telephone orders while there are 30 or 40 people waiting. If the organization is better this would be one of the best snack carts in the country. Only that's not the case...

I strongly advise against this tent. We ordered a few fries and a few snacks here with the family, then we waited an hour and a half for our order after we had said something about it. When we finally got the food, it turned out to be a wrong order and the fries were cold and raw. That's why I give the food 1 star, the service preferably less than 0 stars, but that was not an option and I give the atmosphere 2 stars because the other customers agreed with us and had the same problem. I'll never come here again.

Always great food here and a choice you wouldn't expect from a ''simple'' snack cart. I regularly come here for something to eat when I come from a flea market, etc. with my father. Then we drive past here specifically. especially their frikandel special is very good. addition: unfortunately today it happened for the umpteenth time that I went there again for nothing. They advertise winter balls but these are often gone. If I arrived at the end of the evening, I didn't understand that until around 5 o'clock before the crowds started. This happened to me several times last year and again today. For this reason I will deduct 2 stars from the review. the food is still very good, but that ''saving grace'' they offered is not really appreciated. I could get 2 normal meatballs for the price of that winter ball. But then my net weight will still be significantly worse because I pay the same and get less. edit: because it was removed by Google's algorithm, I'm posting it again, but this review is now a few years old, keep that in mind.

Been a long time ago, have often driven by, but now AFTER a long period of time I stopped by because of the insufferably tasty Angus burgers, minced meat ball and tasty fries, Angus burger perfect 👌 own meatballs were excellent, they were very friendly people. When I ordered my Angus burger today, I immediately received the answer: I don't know if these are Angus burgers. I immediately had my reservations... When I got it, I knew enough... no way!! I order hamburger with fried onion and curry sauce, fries and peanut sauce. The hamburger for €6 was quite large, but definitely a factory burger!!, (she later says butcher) I had to look for the onions 🔍, soooo few, quality not at all comparable to the (in retrospect, the old owners ), the fries and peanut sauce costing no less than €4, must indeed be eaten quickly, otherwise they will be cold 🥶. (Disadvantage: French thin fries, but tasty straight from the pan 😋). The container was well filled, I must say honestly. When I finished it, the friendly lady asked if I liked it... I said it was reasonable, but the acknowledgment was indeed that there is a different owner. I immediately indicated that I had to look for the onions 👀 and she says that they were the last onions 🧅 leftovers (3:00 in the afternoon)… I didn't notice when I paid € 10.- that they were gone… but the full price collect €, but deliver less…, very unfortunate as I always liked coming there!!. It's no longer worth it to me... very unfortunate... especially in these times, you should definitely get quality for your expensive €€.

Super schönes kleines Bistro auf einem Parkplatz gelegen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Essen ist sehr lecker 😋. Wir kommen bestimmt mal wieder.

Helaas niet meer zoals het was. Hamburgers waren altijd heerlijk, nu andere burgers, broodje was half afgebakken. Jammer. Teveel mayonaise op de friet.

Grundsolide! Die Pommes sind gut gebacken und die Frekandel, wie gewohnt in den Niederlanden, köstlich. An einem schönen Sommertag ein kulinarischer Ausflug ins Grüne, der Weg lohnt sich. Einziger Nachteil der hier zur vollen 5 von 5 Bewertung gefehlt hat, ist die Menge an Ketchup. Leider viel zu viel und nicht auf die Menge Pommes abgestimmt. Aber ansonsten ein tolles Erlebnis, was mit einem Eis oder Kaffee auch noch schön abgerundet werden kann.

In het verleden had men er lekkere milkshakes. Onlangs een geprobeerd, maar viel erg tegen. Vandaag zelfs geen milkshakes volgens de dame achter de kassa. Ook de gehaktballen zijn er niet. De Franse frietjes zijn oké, maar wel jammer dat men de sauzen over alles heen gooit. Kort samengevat; de kwaliteit is niet wat het geweest is.

Het eten is heel lekker met veel saus. De service en bediening zijn goed en vriendelijk. Wanneer we in de buurt zijn gaan wij zeker naar Foppen voor een snack

Food was great. A little on the expensive side though but the portions were alright. The seating area is under a roof but not too much space when you want to sit there and others want to order. But great for takeaway.

Lang geleden kwam ik hier wel vaker en van de week wilden we het nog eens uitproberen of het nog steeds zo lekker was. De patat is prima, wordt wel snel oud als je het te lang laat zitten in de zak, dat komt miss omdat ze dun zijn. De frikandel speciaal was bedolven onder de mayo en curry. Uitjes waren wat weinig. Door de hoeveelheid saus was de frikandel koud geworden. Verder was het best lekker. Prijs kwaliteit verhouding is prima. Door de drukte en telefonische bestellingen kan het zijn dat je wat langer moet wachten. Je krijgt wel een wachtschijf die af gaat als je bestelling klaar is.

Snel, warm en je kunt binnen zitten met warmtekanon.

Tolle Imbissbude, mit tollen und sehr motivierten Mädels. Die haben uns alles erklärt und das was sie empfohlen hatten, hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Das Essen ist, für das was es ist, richtig super. Nächstes Jahr wieder. Danke

Ein Muss wenn ich in Elburg gewesen bin. Top Qualität und super Personal machen es hier immer wieder perfekt um einen Zwischenstop einzulegen.

Al jaren een vertrouwd adres om even lekker te eten! Vriendelijk personeel. De (winter) gehaktbal is zeker aan te raden! Ook een patatje met en frikandel speciaal zijn zeer goed!
