Excellent fries, fast and friendly service

Had a good meal. Patatje oorlog, goulash croquette, and hamburger. Perfect after an hour of walking.

The fries with special sauce and the vegetarian frikandel with special sauce are delicious. I gladly come to Maastricht for them. The service is always very friendly, and the staff understands and speaks German very well.

It's fast food, after all. Don't expect too much, and it'll be fine. I had fries with Joopie sauce; personally, there was too much sauce for me, or it would have been better if they were served separately for dipping.

The server took her time with us and spoke both English and German. I had my first frikandel in the Netherlands here. I also ordered fries and Joppie sauce. I enjoyed both dishes. It was quite busy when we arrived, but we still managed to get seats.

We managed to grab a spot on the outdoor terrace with fries, sour meat😋 and a frikadel 😋 tasty and well-prepared.

Everything was delicious, great fries, and a great central location! A large portion of specials costs €6.50. A small portion without anything costs €3.75.

Nothing special. Proper quality & fair prices. Love that they have vegetarian Frikandel (not vegan tho). Would go again 👍🏻

Vroeger was dit het frietpaleis van Maastricht: achter in de zaak zitjes en geweldige kwaliteit producten. Welnu: daar is niets meer van over! Zitjes weg, fabrieksfriet, ongeïnteresseerd personeel…kortom: mijdt deze zaak!! Eeuwig zonde.

These were the best fries for me so far. Freshly prepared, crispy on the outside, as it should be. Personally, I liked that the fries weren't oversalted. The salt shaker was on the table to add salt. There are various sauces and vegan mayonnaise.

A great place for a little break. There is a variety of delicious typical Dutch fried foods. Compared to other nearby chip shops, you can not only save time queuing here, but also money.

Natte kleffen friet, duur en zeker het zuurvlees was niet de moeite van het vleeseten waard. Zou zeker even zoeken naar een andere friettent.

Ate fries special and a Frikhandel. Both were very tasty and I can only recommend them. Service could speak English German and Dutch. Was very nice and friendly. The atmosphere outside at the market has its charm, but inside it seems a bit old and could use some renovation.

Echt veel te duur.€7,- voor een grote friet mayo/curry. En in een zelf gefabriceerde puntzak die het eten van de onderste frietjes bijna onmogelijk maakte. Snap de drukte niet zo van deze tent..

Premesso che abitiamo ad Hasselt (BE) e spessissimo veniamo a Maastricht. Ogni volta passando davanti a questa frittura abbiamo visto file chilometriche e abbiamo quindi optato di pranzare altrove . Ieri abbiamo ci siamo deciso di fermarci pensando di gustare le patatine fritte più buone dell'universo.... ZERO ! MAI MANGIATO PATATINE COSÌ DURE E SENZA SAPORE . MAI PIÙ !!!

Io e mia moglie andiamo molto spesso a Maastricht nel weekend perché stiamo al confine tra Belgio ed Olanda ed ogni volta puntualmente, troviamo una fila infinita a questo chiosco di patatine fritte. Ieri (S)fortunatamente troviamo pochissima fila ed allora spinti dalla curiosità, decidiamo di mangiare una porzione grande di patatine fritte per assaporare, come immaginavamo questa leccornia olandese. NO, NON È ANDATA COSÌ... PURTROPPO ERANO PESSIME. Patatine vecchie, incredibilmente dure ed insapore. I soldi peggio spesi da che veniamo a Maastricht!!! Delusione totale. Non lo consiglio nemmeno al mio peggior nemico!!! PECCATO!

Fries the way they should be. Crispy on the outside and you can taste that it was once a potato. Rich selection of sauces. Frikandel is also very tasty. Prices okay for the location, friendly and quick service. Seats inside are just a chip shop, outside when the weather is good there is a nice view of the market. Absolute recommendation.

Pour les amateurs de frites, il y a un avant et un après Rietz. En plein centre, le restaurant attire tous les publics des habitués aux touristes de passage. La frite et savoureuse, croustillante à souhait, la portion généreuse et la qualité incomparablement meilleure que celle de la concurrence y compris des restaurants de luxe.
