I was on vacation in Maastricht. I regularly order from other Mr. Sushi locations and have always been satisfied. This time, I wasn't so satisfied. The rice was cooked too long, which made the Futumaki, in particular, very thick and dense. The Salmon Yuzu Tartare Roll was a disappointment. The salmon on the tartare roll wasn't sliced ​​as shown in the photo, but in large, thick chunks. The service was good, though!

Not great sushi, very dry. The delivery driver didn't arrive until an hour later, even though the estimated delivery time was 20 minutes. And expensive for the amount.

After trying almost every sushi bar and restaurant in Maastricht, we decided to take advantage of the 35% discount on selected rolls. I can confidently say this is the best sushi I've had in Maastricht so far. Highly recommended!

We regularly order from Mr. Sushi and are generally very satisfied. The pickup service is always excellent: this time too, our order was ready on time, exactly as we're used to. That definitely deserves a compliment. Unfortunately, the quality of the food was disappointing this time. The sushi wasn't cool, which significantly impacted our experience of freshness. The surf & turf meat, in particular, stood out negatively – it had a dull color and a dry texture. This gave us the impression that the meat had been sitting for a while or perhaps wasn't completely fresh anymore. We hope this was a one-off, because normally the quality of the food is excellent.

Very tasty food for a great price

I've always loved the sushi/cripsy rolls, but in recent months I've discovered the poké bowls! I always order them through their website, and delivery is often faster than I expect. I like the descriptions of the dishes; you know exactly what's in each roll/bowl. The ingredients are always fresh. The stamp system where you get a free sushi roll for every 30 euros is also fun; it's something we're trying out! So far, I haven't gotten the same one twice, which is great!

The sushi is great and you can smell the freshness. The price/quality ratio is good. Possibility to adapt sustainably, which is also good for the environment. Easy to order online, with fast delivery. I say chapeau!!!

They're all awful there. Chinese, and he needs a QR code, something. A strange Mr. Sushi. Not like others who have delivered, like... Den Bosch, Stadskanaal, Drachten, and Steenwijk.

Worst food ever ordered we ordered the crispybox I warn everyone not to take it it said SUSHIBOX but this was not sushi it arrived warm and it was like some kind of greasy spring roll YUCK YUCK NEVER AGAIN !!! YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES

I don't know what this was but it was definitely not sushi!!!! And besides that the stuff was warm. Very bad and expensive, I will never order here again. I normally don't write reviews but I felt the need to share this so people know what to expect.

Excellent sushi. We picked this up ourselves in Maastricht. Price-quality ratio is certainly in order. We took the family box and this was also nicely taken care of. Really perfect for 3 people! We will definitely come back.

2 hairs in the food, mayonnaise on everything. Sushi rolls not rolled properly. Fell apart. Fish didn't look so good. Have eaten better from other sushi places. Price-quality ratio does not match.

You are on holiday and the website, including payment system, works normally. I order food, get confirmation and everything. There is nothing about holidays on either the website or Facebook. Best place to order for sushi and if you order until a specific amount you get some free extra stuff

Just standing in front of the door, thinking I'm going to get some sushi, I'm in the area. Woman is so unfriendly. She said only need to make order online. So we couldn't get any food either. So we will never go there again. What a terrible person who speaks to you bluntly and arrogantly.

Not tasty, raw tempura, not tasty salmon

Sushi is pretty good, but the rice isnt seasoned. Better when you add rice vinegar to the soy sauce. Otherwise, fish tastes good :)

Ordered a poke bowl. Fry rice with mayonnaise and cucumber. Cobbled together without any culinary care. Tasteless. Definitely not recommended.

1 star because I can not give 0. We ordered with Thuisbezorgd and they didn’t include the maguro nigiri and the crispy tuna. Afterwards, we called them politely asking for the sushi left and she did not want to help, even willing to discuss it. Worst service ever

2 dishes were not included in the order, we kindly contacted Mr. by telephone. Sushi and she were not happy about it. There was only disbelief and there was absolutely no way it couldn't be there. I ended the phone call myself to avoid discussion.

Anyone who calls what these people sell "sushi" should have their head examined. Doesn't even come close to the real thing. Ordered here one time, it was so horrible, after trying 3 maki/nigiri, i just tossed it all into the bin. An utter and total waste of money and a ruined evening. And reasonably expensive as well. The guys running this place need to learn how to make sushi, because what they are serving now... isn't it!

Crispy box very dirty, fried bite. Just an oliebol. They promised fresh fish and chicken, this was certainly not the case. It was a dry bite of canned tuna and salmon salad. Very unkempt. When we called she thought we were crazy and that we couldn't watch!!!! Bah never again. Service even worse than the sushi itself

Order was not delivered complete, subsequent delivery took a very long time because it was busy. Like that's my problem. Another solution was not possible. Bad/no service, very unfriendly on the phone. I won't be ordering from them again.

Terrible service. The lady on the phone is extremely rude and without a doubt unfair. They forgot my chicken and the sushi rice was dry beyond belief. When i called and asked to get my chicken, the owner told me that it’s not her problem since they closed. Extremely rude and tried to fool me into ordering next time to get an extra maki. Then she proceeds to try to convince me that the karage chicken should be 4 pieces only while it’s clearly written that it is 5. What a scam. When I ask how i would be able to claim this, she said she “would just remember”. Never ordering here again, unfair and without a doubt does not appreciate the clients. Never spending my money here again.

Tasty Sushi, ordered second time. First time perfectly on time, second time I received a proper call and in the end they were only 5 minutes late.

Delicious sushi, delivered within an hour. They called that it would take longer and afterwards it wasn't too bad. Quite pricey for 4 people.

The Crispy Box is fantastic. You get the salmonella from the raw chicken completely free. The restaurant itself claims that they receive a lot of 'complaints and questions' about this, but that the meat should be pink because it comes from the leg and not from the fillet. Ahem...

Very bad service, called to ask if the tuna could be replaced with something else. And the chinese lady on the phone was like next time dont order something you dont like. She wouldnt even let me finish. I was only calling if it was possible. Dont know if they will spit in my food.... too bad because I know this chain from utrecht...

Absolutely great. Walked in too early today and received a flyer. Had it delivered when it was open. 👍 My daughter came home and wanted to order again and still received a free roll. The girl on the phone called me back to say it was included and on its way. 👍

Sushi delivered fresh and quickly.

It took some getting used to that our trusted Ni Hao was gone. But Mr. sushi is definitely worth it! Tasty, lots of and patient staff who thought along about what was tastiest and most affordable.

Great sushi but unprofessional and unfriendly staff. When I called because the order (which had already been placed hours in advance) was late, I received a very unpleasant (and also unjustified) response that left an unpleasant taste on otherwise excellent sushi.

Very tasty sushi for pick-up or delivery. Sushi is of good quality and the crispy box is especially recommended! Family box is enough for 4 people. Service is good and delivery is also fast. Normally sushi takeaway or delivery is quite expensive, but here the price is good. The store itself could be a bit neater and with more decoration. But this sushi delivery and takeaway service is definitely recommended!
