A lovely spot to enjoy a good meal and beer by the Maas River in the evening. We had mussels, which were absolutely delicious! We've also had the burger before; everything was very tasty 😋

The atmosphere was pleasant, but the dish was truly awful: the fish with beurre blanc sauce. The fish was gray and bland, in a very small quantity, with a few tiny ears of corn, tiny out-of-season tomatoes, and a beurre blanc sauce that was nothing like a beurre blanc sauce: sliced ​​and with lemon...nothing like the original recipe. I was expecting a good French dish, but I got none of that. However, the setting was pleasant and the service was adequate!

We were planning to go shopping in Maastricht, but the weather wasn't great, so we opted for coffee and elderberry pie. It's so delicious, but also too big for me alone, so I shared it with my wife. The service is quick, courteous, and very friendly. The location is great when you exit the parking garage in the morning, because you practically walk into it. For us, it's always the perfect way to start a day in Maastricht.

Very unfriendly staff. Immediately upon arrival, we were asked what we wanted to drink. However, it turns out that everyone in the group has to order something, otherwise you won't be allowed to sit there. Definitely not recommended!

A café-restaurant with no particular atmosphere, with a large selection of drinks, especially beers (contrary to what I've read here 😜). The appetizer platters are very good and the value for money is decent. The terrace is large!

Terrible service. I ordered a beer and a bottle of water to go. The beer was fine, but the water was an open glass bottle. I told them it was to go, and they came back with a paper cup with no lid or anything. I told them I wanted a sealed plastic bottle, and they told me they didn't have one, but they charged me for the water, which I couldn't bring.

We got here 10 minutes before they closed on a Sunday, and they still served us it was a great patio to spend our evening on for our stop in Maastricht.

We decided to have a drink on the patio today. My father and I ordered something right away, while my mother and sister arrived a bit later and didn't want anything to drink. Shortly after they sat down, a man (older man, long hair, glasses) approached my mother. He asked if my mother and sister wanted something to drink. When they indicated they didn't want to order anything, he told them they wouldn't be allowed to stay (in a negative tone). My mother and sister angrily left. I found this reaction very unfriendly and unwelcoming; I've never experienced anything like this before. When I sit on a patio with friends, there's usually someone who doesn't order anything, and it's never a problem there. Apparently, it is here, which I find really strange. It's a shame, because the other waitresses were friendly. Because of this experience, I'm giving it 2 stars.

Nooit gaan we nog naar deze plek!!! Wij hadden iets te drinken besteld en dachten ook nog iets te bestellen om te eten. Het was een jonge dame die ons bediende. Mijn echtgenoot zag dat ze naar de koelkast ging waar de taartjes in stonden. Ze nam slagroom met haar vingers van de taart en at het op!!! Een tijdje erna deed ze terug hetzelfde!!!! WALGELIJK!!!!!!!! Wat doen ze daar nog allemaal.... .

Paramos a tomar algo y comer durante nuestra estancia en Maastricht para el concierto de André Rieu. La comida excelente, el servicio bueno y amable hasta que llegó el momento de pagar la cuenta. El camarero masculino fue extremadamente grosero y maleducado cuando intentamos pagar. El problema parecía ser la conexión de su máquina de pago, lo que le hacía irritarse e impacientarse, alzándonos la voz y exigiendo: "¡¿Alguien puede pagar, usar efectivo o algo?! ¡He esperado al menos 10 minutos!". " Esto fue muy poco profesional y nos dejó una mala impresión. No volveré. Qué lástima, porque Maastricht fue una ciudad increíble, con gente muy amable y servicial.

Paramos aquí para nuestro último almuerzo en Maastricht. El servicio del personal femenino fue encantador, la comida estaba deliciosa y nos lo estábamos pasando genial hasta que llegó el momento de pagar. Nos gritó porque nuestra tarjeta de pago no procesaba (el problema parecía estar en su máquina de tarjetas), luego exigió que pagáramos en efectivo y pareció echarnos la culpa a nosotros. No fue una experiencia agradable después de unos días tan maravillosos celebrando el 80 cumpleaños de nuestra madre. El caballero fue grosero e irrespetuoso. La pareja de ancianos que estaba a nuestro lado se alarmó bastante por su actitud agresiva hasta el punto de preguntarnos si estábamos bien. No fue una experiencia agradable

Goede locatie vlakbij het OLV-plein en de parkeergarage. Goede koffie, goede bediening. Treden bij de ingang en de steile trap naar toilet is een uitdaging voor gehandicapte.

They changed the menu. I don’t know why but before they had a really good French onion soup and now it wasn’t in the menu. It’s also Quite expensive.

First we went for a piece of cake with coffee. The cake, both apple and cherry, were delicious. Personally, I didn't think the coffee was that great. What bothered us a bit was what one of the ladies serving had just lying on the counter, a half-nibbled sandwich wasn't really a tasty sight, I know that they have to eat too, but it could be a bit more discreet. Then we went for a drink before we headed back home. The coffee verkeerd was (for me personally) in all its facets. Far too little milk to be a "real" coffee verkeerd. For me, the worst coffee verkeerd I've ever had. If we're ever in Maastricht again, we'll definitely go there for the mega delicious cake, but this time without coffee, it'll be chocolate milk.

The cappuccino I drank was a good choice. The service there was good, but there was only one waiter. I was very stressed because there were so many people there.

Many people on the terrace were drinking something that caught our attention and it turned out to be a delicious onion soup. We decided to go in and it surprised us! Young and friendly people serving, cozy, clean and quiet environment (a little cold to be honest, a little warmer inside would be better). Good food with excellent quality/price ratio, without waiting long (and we were 7 pax). It's worth it. Thank you!

It took a long time before we were helped. We sat inside and the staff was busier with the terrace. We had to ask ourselves if we could order something. If it had been super busy, okay, but that wasn't too bad either. Despite this, you can sit comfortably here both inside and outside. Highly recommended with coffee is the gooseberry meringue pie.

Coffee was OK. Server was very pushy and stressing, one person in our group took a bit to decide and he got visibly annoyed and just left. He also refused to split the bill for us because “it takes too long and he has no time”. Nice location, but we will not return because of the poor service.

Terrible experience. I was there with 4 other friends, they all ordered something, I didn’t because I was feeling stomach sick and the waiter (a long haired 40ish yo man) wanted me to order something at all cost because “I could not sit there without having nothing”. I just got up and left

The onion soup is sensationally good! The service was friendly and quick, the ambience of the outdoor restaurant in the location between the banks of the Maas and the entrance to the old town was completely fine. Definitely a second time on my next visit to Maastricht.

The waiter came across as arrogant and unwelcoming to us. 3 out of 4 ordered a drink and because the 4th didn't want anything yet, we had to leave. We didn't get a chance to order anything to eat.

Llegamos con un grupo grande, pero algo salió mal con la confirmación de nuestra reserva. La culpa es nuestra, pero aún así intentaron ayudarnos. Tenemos nuestra propia habitación arriba y dentro de un tiempo razonable que podrían servirnos una cena de dos platos. La atmósfera no es nada especial. Pero sin embargo los muchos comentarios en otras reseñas, la chica que nos ayudó fue un excelente servicio. Rápido y atento; nunca tuvimos un momento seco. La comida estaba bien. Tenía un aperitivo de queso vegetariano grande y de buen sabor. El plato principal era solo salmón.

Waitresses waited to be greeted instead of doing the greeting. No smiles. Service was fast, but food was mid. Just another day as a brown foreigner I guess. Nothing exceptional to report, both good or bad. Edited to add the WC is not the cleanest, which also makes one want to spend less time here. And even though my coffee was finished before my bf arrived and ordered, by his second beverage my empty coffee was still on the table. Sloppy workers make sloppy impressions.

Excellent restaurant / brasserie on the edge of the city center. Simple menu with meat and some fish and vegetarian dishes. Pleasantly furnished and decorated. Large outdoor terrace with patio heating. Toilets on the 1st floor.

La Bonne Femme is in één woord kwaliteit. Gastvrije ontvangst door de ober. Er is namelijk een teamvergadering die een paar uren zal duren. In een fraaie vergaderruimte op de tweede etage. Ik wacht op enkele vrijwilligers-collega´s en geniet even van een cappuccino. De ober houdt hoffelijk en servicegericht de deur open voor een oudere vrouw die moeilijk ter been is. Zij bestelt bij zijn collega koffie en kaas met brood. Als zij vraagt waar de kaas blijft, ontvangt zij niet alleen een juist en vriendelijk antwoord, maar even later ook kaas met brood en fraaie garnituur. De vergadering begint en de voortreffelijke lunch wordt bezorgd. Tussendoor zijn er drankjes en de ober polst of alles naar wens is. Dit is zeker het geval. Dit is mijn eerste bezoek aan deze mooie locatie. Hier word ik graag vaste klant. Zeker omdat ik wel vaker in Maastricht ben. Prima teamwork van het gehele personeel. De eigenaar mag trots zijn op zijn personeel. De ober die mij als gast ontving, is een visitekaartje voor het bedrijf. Hij en zijn collega´s zorgen voor een mooie mondelinge reclame. Ik beveel La Bonne Femme graag bij de mensen aan. Hier voel je je thuis.

Very warm welcome despite the language barrier

Op de tafel zaten nog resten van de voorbije gebruikers( melk). We attendeerden de garçon even hierop die op zijn beurt met een stukje kassabon de hele tafel afveegde. (Ik heb even naar de verborgen camera gezocht😜) hij bedoelde het wel goed. De koffie leek trouwens aangelengd. Weinig smaak. Niettemin hebben wij in het verleden hier mooie herinneringen.

Disappointed. I had lunch there with a friend. The location is good, the food was so-so, but the service was terrible. Long wait time, poor hygiene especially in the toilet. I won’t go there again.

Service could be more attentive (don't spend so much time on your own cell phone) otherwise everything ok. We'll still come back.

The tables were very dirty and the previous guests' dishes were only cleared away when our drinks were delivered and requested. The toilets were absolutely dirty. Disgusting !!!

Cozy terrace outside the large terraces of Maastricht. Almost a view of the Maas on the edge of the park. Friendly and attentive staff and above all delicious food. Mussels, steak, satay and pork. Generous portions, well prepared and beautifully served. All delicious Burgundian with plenty of fries. To come back when we are in town.
