The grilled fish was amazing! The flavor was rich and spicy, just the right balance. The tofu on the side was super crispy outside and soft inside. Really enjoyed the meal and would definitely come back again!

We ordered the fried dim sum with chicken and vegetables and was tasty. For our main, we ordered a chicken dish, and it arrived swimming in oil and not tasty. Found the place to be very expensive also…they even charged €7.50 for some water. Definitely place is a tourist trap.

No visit to Amsterdam without a diner at FuLu Manderijn. Discovered it more than 10 years ago. Real authentic Chinese food. Perfect quality and taste. A lot of Chinese people eat here. Beware : Duck blood curd (鸭血) and Tripe (毛肚) are on the menu too. (Not for everyone 😀) The service is perfect. Looking forward to our next visit.

This place is absolutely amazing, and the staff are incredibly friendly!! I make sure to eat here every time I come to Amsterdam. The last time I was here was two years ago, and even though I was already full this time, I couldn’t leave without eating here again — I rushed in for another meal because I knew I’d regret missing it.

I visited this restaurant yesterday during my trip to Amsterdam. I was very pleased with the quick and professional service. The food was delicious, and the restaurant offers a large and interesting selection of dishes and drinks.

Very authentic Sichuan style Chinese food! So happy after 2 weeks training in AMS, I can have such authentic food in the Dam AMS tourist area. The service is also good, except one thing it might be challenge for seniors with knee problem as the stairs are quite narrow and steep if there’s no room at the 2nd floor. Price is a bit on the higher side but considering the quality of the dishes and the location, it’s considered as reasonable. If you don’t have enough cash with you suggest you checking with server before ordering. Overall will strongly suggest to all my Chinese friends😋

Fulu Restaurant offers a clean and cozy environment with homestyle dishes that are both generous in portion and reasonably priced. The service is friendly and efficient. Great for casual meals with friends or family. Highly recommend the sweet and sour ribs and dry pot cauliflower.

I went there with my colleagues ( I will also recommend for family and friends eat-out). The food, customer service was awesome. Alot of tasty freshly cooked chinese cuisine, my favourite is the Roasted half duck with hoisin sauce on the side.

Terrible. Disaster. Super salty chicken, we didn’t touch that dish after tasting it. Telling this to the waiter, and just got a nod saying that, yes that dish is salty. What about warning us like you warned us that it’s very spicy? If you’re chinese, that may be obvious to you, but it certainly is not for us. We payed (in full) and left as soon as we can. Spoiled our evening. Never ever again!

We came here for dinner and were disappointed by the prices and the service. They charge ~$33 for a small portion of an entree. We ordered the dry-fried chicken with chili peppers, a dish we've had at many Szechuan restaurants, and this one was good but not great; the flavor from the peppercorns was hard to discern so maybe they were old. They also charge ~$3 per person just for tap water, which seems stingy. Our waiter acted put-upon when we would ask for things; he would look away from us while we spoke as if eager for us to finish talking as quickly as possible. Wouldn't return here based on this experience.

The spicy chicken and Maoxuewang are very fragrant, but the overall taste is a bit salty.

The location is easy to find, right in the city center. It's delicious. It's authentic Sichuan flavor. I recommend the spicy chicken and Maoxuewang.

I came here after reading the reviews and made a reservation. I found out that there were not many people here. It was dirty and noisy, so the food was salty and spicy. The waiter was also very passive. The three of us spent nearly €50 per person. It was not worth it. Don't be fooled again.

Very authentic szhchuan restaurant, great level of spice and flavor, but not greasy. Definitely a place I would wanna return. I do think it is little overpriced being around 50 per person, but give the central location in Amsterdam it might justify it.

This afternoon, I visited Fulu Mandarin Restaurant in Amsterdam and had a very disappointing experience. It was raining heavily outside, and our group of 9 people, including both elders and children, had made a reservation in advance. Despite this, the staff treated us in a rude and disrespectful manner. When we arrived, they did not arrange a proper table for us, showed no hospitality, and even seemed to look down on us. One staff member even banged on the table and told us that if we didn’t want to eat, we should leave. I have never in my life encountered such unprofessional and arrogant service at a restaurant. This kind of disrespectful behavior is unacceptable. A restaurant should know how to treat its customers with courtesy and basic manners — something clearly missing here. I have seen some other customers review but you guys still didn’t admit your fault.

I didn’t even get the chance to try the food because the experience ended before we could sit down properly. We arrived as a group of 9 people and were given a table that was far too cramped for our size, especially considering the amount of food and personal space we needed. When we politely asked to change to a more suitable table, the staff responded with an incredibly rude and disrespectful attitude. They insisted that the table was meant for 10 people and refused to accommodate us, despite our request. one of the staff members slammed a chair in front of us and responded rudely when we questioned their service. When we asked, “Is this how you treat your customers?” they outright said “Yes.” At that point, we decided to leave. No one should be treated like that when simply trying to enjoy a meal. I cannot speak to the quality of the food, but based on the service alone, I would strongly advise others to avoid this place. Absolutely unacceptable behavior from the staff.

Pleasant surprise. Despite the huge sign outside the restaurant is a bit hidden on the busy, touristy Rokin. Even though we were very early the restaurant was already half full. The dishes were all incredibly tasty. The dishes are spicey but to a level that feels very satisfying. Great, friendly service. I will definitely be back

It's delicious. The pig intestines, blood and tripe are all cleanly processed, and the taste is really Sichuan style. The dry-fried pig intestines are very fragrant, and the blood and tripe are quite generous.

I’ve been coming here for four years and it’s still my favourite Chinese restaurant in Amsterdam. Every time I visit, it feels like a little taste of home. The food is so authentic and delicious – my absolute favourites are the flavourful eggplant and Yangzhou fried rice. The staff are always so kind and attentive, and the restaurant feels cosy and warm. It’s a bit pricey, but for real Chinese food in Amsterdam, it’s totally worth it. Can’t wait to come back again!

We went there about 10 days ago for dinner. It was the most authentic Sichuan food we had in Western Europe. The only complaint is that you need a Google account to connect to their Wi-Fi.

Wonderful Sichuan food close to Central Station. A welcome surprise on our visit to Amsterdam, we loved the duck and dry-fried chicken with chilis. This meal was packed with flavor and didn’t disappoint.

No joke. Two of the Serving staff (brothers apparently) started full on fist fighting in the middle of the restaurant. Multiple people had to step in to get them separated. Very tense experience. I don’t know what to say…..
