Normally, I love tom yam noodle soup, but this one was just too spicy. I couldn't eat it. My friend's noodles were good, though.

A great break with truly freshly prepared food. The black bean beef was truly divine, and the edamame was crisp and fresh. Great!

It was really warm inside and was a bit uncomfortable. We probably would have ordered more and stayed longer if it were cooler inside. The food was ok, I've had better, but it was still pretty decent. Service was just ok. It took a long time for someone to come by and take our order.

When we arrived, the restaurant was almost completely empty, except for one occupied table. Despite this, we were seated at the worst table in the place — right up against the bar, under a speaker, and next to a radiator. Thankfully, the waitress was accommodating and let us move to a table of our choice. We ordered the salt & pepper chicken, which seemed to be deep-fried and then stir-fried. The flavor was okay, but the portion size was quite small. The seafood laksa noodle soup was a real letdown. It came with just two unpeeled shrimp, two peeled shrimp, two fish balls, two thin slices of fish cake and a lot of fried tofu. For a dish advertised as “seafood,” I expected more — maybe some clams or squid. It felt very basic, especially considering the price. The side dishes clearly weren’t homemade. Overall, the food felt more like convenience cooking than anything made with real care or effort. To top it off, the restroom was extremely unpleasant. The tile grout was filthy, and the door was covered in stains — not exactly reassuring when it comes to the restaurant’s cleanliness. Bottom line: Friendly staff, but the food and hygiene standards were disappointing. I definitely won’t be coming back.

The food was delicious with a great spicy kick (I ordered the Malaysian fried rice). It was affordable for a nice meal and the service was fast and waiters were polite and helpful. Would definitely recommend!

Time and again. I have been a regular in that place for over 12 years now and as long as I will be around I will go there for my Kerry Laksa dish. Thank you New Season team for your excellent food and making us very welcome in your place.

Fried Rice was a bit tasteless, udon noodles were tasty and the tonkotsu ramen was godlike. Portions were a little small, but the service was fast.

Food is okay, but they don't mentioned about extra cost for split the bill. It it extra cost for nothing. Make no sense and not written and noticed anywhere. Even the menu had been mistakenly ordered.

Delicious! Quiet little noodle bar across from our hotel. I had chicken fried rice and my daughter had vegetable noodles. Both were excellent!

Fodd is GREAT! We ended up going here twice on our long weekend. We tried a few places on the same street, and we had to leave. So, if in this area, go here! Staff was very helpful and kind.

Food was nice but the service was below average. Firstly had to wait for a long time to get the food and the waitress dint even ask if we need desserts and straight away asked if we are paying by cash or card. 😁

Despite the good reviews food was disappointing, when you order noodles at a Chinese restaurant you expect to come with all the flavours and spices instead they were white and flavourless. Two starts for the gyozas that were delicious. For the price you have better options around. Customer service was good.

The gyozas were delicious, but we ordered some rice noodles that were honestly tasteless. Perhaps because of their online ratings, we expected more. But the waiter was extremely attentive.

The waiter was very nice. We could continue to order food after 9 o'clock. The food tasted good and was worth the price.

5 stars all round! Seated straight away and food came out so fast! We ordered the fried chicken to start and then the chicken fried rice and beef Chinese noodles for mains. Everything was so yummy and the portions were big! Lovely staff too

Best laksa and prawn soup I have ever eaten.

Ordered takeout. Great tasting laksa, spicy but not overwhelming. Yeung chow fried rice was nice but not enough flavor & Singaporean noodles is tasty but not made with vermicelli rice noodles which was a bit disappointing. I would go back for the laska, and the service was great; nice folks.

Right on a picturesque street in the heart of Amsterdam! I had the miso soup (without tofu) and beef Chinese noodles! I haven’t even started the noodles yet but the soup is blowing me away! So tasty, rich in flavor. Almost like a great ramen broth.

I visited this restaurant late in the evening when the city was winding down, and the air was filled with the scent of spices and fresh food. From the start, I knew it would be a great meal. The wonton soup had a rich, flavorful broth, and the dumplings were soft and delicious. The chicken udon had perfectly springy noodles with a tasty, umami-packed sauce. The chicken curry was creamy and well-spiced, just right. But the real star was the baked dumplings with sesame sauce—crispy outside, juicy inside, with a deep, slightly sweet sesame flavor. The atmosphere was fine but could be cozier with warmer lighting and small details. Still, the food was so good that I’ll definitely be back—maybe even late at night again!

Pretty average food and service. Fried chicken pretty bland and jasmin tea wasn't fresh. There are so many good Asian restaurants in the area. I would only go here if every other restaurant in Chinatown is closed.

Overpriced for the quality of food.

A quiet place and the attention was adequate. The taste of the rice is really delicious, it brings enough protein for the amount of rice they serve. You are really satisfied and the prices are appropriate to what they sell. I recommend this place.

Love this place. Warm and welcoming most of the time, except my last visit. I faced a ridiculous problem last week; when I want to split the bill with my friend, they charged each of us extra 1€.. for what? Just because we wanted to split the bill. It is unbelievable..

A hidden gem in the heart of Amsterdam!! Singaporeans/Malaysians and maybe Hongkongers, This is as close as it gets to find taste of home! The restaurant is cosy, staff are friendly, and food is legit good!! My good-to place to satisfy my craving for Singapore food when i revisit Amsterdam again.

They have the very best laksa seafood soup in Amsterdam. In addition, the staff is super nice and helpful.

This store is literally hot! The food is really delicious and what I would assume to be authentic. In any case, a kind warning should be given: In the menu there are one, two or three chili peppers as an indicator of the level of spiciness. Please don't overestimate yourself - my palate has already ridden a roller coaster with one pod 🙈 (but that's not a negative point for the restaurant!). The portion sizes are also very good and the price is really good! The employees were very nice and courteous, quick and attentive, everything was wonderful! Don't expect miracles when it comes to the ambience - there are nicer locations. And because this shop is no longer an insider tip, it can be difficult to even get a table. So you need a bit of luck - but if you do, you can expect a really great taste experience!

Customer service non existence, had to endure a very stressful, embarrassing situation. Dining with 4 of my friends, 2 of them asked for a CHICKEN! Chow mein dish. Waitress comes out with Prawn. My friends suggest putting some chicken in it as ordered. But no waitress insist a new meal will be made by Chef then states we will have to pay for another meal and pay for leftover prawn chow main as per boss instructions. Obviously not familiar with customer service. My friends politley decline this requests saying we’re not interested in the leftovers they just want to pay for a chicken chow mein as ordered. Long story cut short they try putting the leftover chow meins on the bill 😂 we state we’re not paying we never asked for it nor eat it. Waitress constantly going back to chef/boss in kitchen saying we have to pay. In the end we just left the cash for the meals we ordered and left. But unbelievable experience!

Very tasty curry laksa is excellent

A small far eastern restaurant in the center of Amsterdam. We ordered Malaysian noodles and beef udon. Both were very delicious and the portions were quite large. We ate some of it when I took this photo :) I recommend it.

cute little spot but absolutely gross. i watched the chef microwave 4 or 5 dishes before he realised and closed the curtain. service was poor - i was served my soup and then my partners dish didn't arrive for another 10 minutes. food was very plain and average. i also watched the waitress use a nasal spray and then sprinkle spring onions on a dish, really gross.

the beat waitress ever!!! we were in a rush, but everyone was so understanding and gave us our food to go PLUS the forks/knives!!!

Red curry tofu was solid. It seems like a decent place. A bit expensive for what it is, but I guess that’s what you get for being in the center of town. Nice, efficient staff. I can recommend.

La comida y el servicio eran tal como recordaba de mi visita el año pasado. Y volveré la próxima vez que esté en la ciudad. Las albóndigas de sopa eran increíbles.

Last day in Amsterdam and I found this little gem, the place is small and that's what I loved, the service and the people who serve are incredible. Everything was very delicious and I would definitely repeat.

Excellent food, fast service and good value for money.

Several times visited Amsterdam and always walked from Amsterdam Central Station to this busiest area. Tried my luck to find Asian restaurant with good rating here. And I was in love with it's Kerry Laksa which is Chef's recommendation. The prawn toast is also a must try here. Love all the food we ordered.

Great food. Went back for the second time to make sure it was as good as we remembered. This is the best Asian food we’ve had in Amsterdam period. It’s a small place but they know flavors!!!

The Laska and fried rice and other things were all really really great! We were Asians and we all thought it was super tasty! Only that the Laksa took a long time to come (Maybe it should always be like this? I have never been to Malaysia)

Worst Chinese restaurant I ever been

I had the Salt and Pepper chicken. So flavorful and tender and crispy. Excellent service.

I have had the opportunity to visit this place twice, the first in 2022 and now in 2024 and boy is it an excellent place to eat ramen in Amsterdam. The service, the attention of the staff and the food are a gem, I would love to return in the future. Don't hesitate to order the ramen Tom Yam rice noodle soup. I highly recommend it!

very bland chicken "fried" rice. The rice and chicken were the same color (white) and i had to drench it in siracha and soy sauce to make it taste like anything.

Inconspicuous restaurant that you could easily walk past...but you shouldn't!!! Sensational soups, fantastic starters, authentic cuisine and super nice service. The prices are really cheap for the area, we ate here twice within 3 days even though there are hundreds of restaurants here. Thank you, great concept.

Some of the best Chinese food I’ve had. We got soup, gyoza and the sweet and sour pork with fried rice. Soups were amazing, the broth was beyond any others we’ve had. Sauce for the gyoza was also amazing. Perfect portions and kind service! We will be back.
