Garibaldi's Pizza in Wijk 00 Monnickendam

The most delicious (pepperoni with vegetables!!!)

The pizzas tasted great. The edge was crispy, the dough was nice and elastic on the inside. Prices are usual for the region and therefore okay.

Super large pizzas. One was a Shawarma with Garlic Sauce. The other a vegetarian one with lots of vegetables. Beautiful boxes and quickly prepared and certainly for a repeat. Top tent and highly recommended.

One needn’t see the Garibaldi’s pizza truck to know what’s baking in Ilpendam square on Thursday evenings. For the scent of freshly-seared toppings and delectably caramelizing local-sourced pizza pies fill the air like an olfactory hymn, a siren call which no hungering soul can easily resist. We gave into this call on an almost weekly basis during our three month stay in lovely little Ilpendam. Yvonne and her talented team—whipping about expertly in the theatrically-exposed mobile kitchen—epitomize the holistic joys of eating by and from the hands of locals that care about their craft and the community for which they create. From our hearts and bellies, thank you.

The best pizza carpaccio ever!!

Delicious pizza with truffle and carpaccio! Sweet hard workers who celebrate the art of pizza baking. Just what I needed on this soft autumn evening. Grazie!
