Had an amazing boat trip, special thanks to Mohammed and Chris !! Highly recommend to visit the village and the place.

Terrible service for the boat. It is dead slow and they didn’t change it to another one. Not recommending

We rented a boat here. The staff here are very polite and kind. Definitely recommended. Mr. Christian (the owner) met us very well and gave good suggestions.

🛥️We rented a boat online, arrived on time, but had to wait more than an hour for the boat (( We did not receive any apology or compensation from the owners... It was my son's birthday, so we were already waiting for the boat... The boat ride was comfortable, I liked the village, the impression be prepared for such surprises at this location...

Food is simple but good, price is so reasonable, only one man who cooks and serves so the waiting time might be long

I would give a zero if it would be possible. No organization of the boats and who goes on it. One guy coordinates everything and doesnt care

Meestal schrijf ik nooit geen review, maar de eigenaar van deze bootjesverhuur/restaurant verdiend het echt! Tijdens onze dagen in Giethoorn (Resort Venetië) zijn wij UITSTEKEND geholpen door Kris. Waardoor wij 3 heerlijke dagen, zonder problemen hebben kunnen varen, en genieten van het mooie Giethoorn. Kris is een gezellige man, die altijd wel een praatje wilt maken. Dit is de beste plaats om wat te drinken of om een bootje te huren om Giethoorn te verkennen. En dat allemaal voor een eerlijke prijs! Wij willen Kris nog heel erg bedanken voor de goede service, dankjewel Kris (en tot de volgende keer)! :) Groetjes, De 2 Brabanders uit Roosendaal ;)

Make sure you download the app for the correct sailing route before sailing. From the terrace of the restaurant they also depart for a cruise through Giethoorn with a large sloop.

Giethoorn aan Zee is somewhere between a restaurant, bistro and sandwich shop. The staff is very entertaining. From Giethoorn aan Zee you can easily get on your boat and sail around the village canal. You can also rent a whisper boat or 4-person sloop here. Download the Giethoorn Village app for the sailing route on your phone. You can park in front of the door here and it is free.

Giethoorn aan zee. Je kan hier heerlijk neerploffen op het terras. Dit restaurant heeft een beperkte kaart maar elk gerecht van de kaart is heerlijk en niet duur. Hier moet je echt de heerlijke zelfgebakken appeltaart met slagroom geproefd hebben. De (buitenlandse) toeristen staan er voor in de rij. Ook kan je hier een bootje huren.

Einfach super, man muss es gesehen haben.
