Small coffee shop on a quiet side street, away from the crowds. Excellent coffee and a cosy atmosphere. The croissant was delicious. Perfect spot to enjoy a coffee while strolling through the streets of Amsterdam.

Stumbled across this spot because it was close to where we were staying. Instantly fell in love with it. Excellent coffee, great vibes. Struck up a conversation with someone new each time I went. My only regret is that I couldn’t come by one more time before journeying away from Amsterdam.

Greetings to all, A cafe located in the inner-city streets of Amsterdam. It's very small, with limited indoor seating and one outdoor table. I've visited it several times because of the excellent coffee preparation and its proximity to where I live. It's highly worth a try.

Is difficult to share a good review on this one at times, there is going to be good people with good atmosphere and good coffee, but sometimes there are situations that feel borderline racists. It would feel that most of the times whenever some baristas with British accent would change the atmosphere or make rude comments. That would never happen with Dutch or American origin baristas. So yep it would be a matter of nationality it seems. But that is already a poor experience that in order to feel confortable you would have to be of a certain ethnicity. Many people would feel discourage to go if they they don't fit a racial stereotype.

Friendly barista and good coffee, beautiful bog mugs, he has flyers from every small business around. Not the strongest coffee though, I've had flatwhites with more kick than this but the ambience and staff is great, perhaps that's the reason of very high Google rating. Pleasurable experience

Yes, it is definitely a must in Amsterdam, somewhere you have to go to get this magical coffee that accompanies you into the day with the enjoyment of the coffee, heavenly, very delicious organic coffee, very accommodating and friendly staff!

A very chill little cafe. The staff are all very cool and friendly. The customers seem to be regulars in the nearby residential area. Today I had a cup of cool beans with a strong berry aroma but a relatively refreshing tea taste. I remember it was just over 4€ per cup. Their own beans are in tins, which is also very cool.

Small place with really friendly staff and clientele. Great coffee made by people that really love their coffee. So Google asked me for an update, all I can say is as well as great coffee my daughter (10) recommends the hot chocolate; very chocolaty and not too sweet.

What an awesome badass spot! Barista was very chill and friendly and the lattes were delicious. Very small interior but the aesthetics are just right. They have a great selection of beans and products perfect for the offbeat and rebellious coffee lover. Big fan of their liberal use of the f-word because it really is the best way to describe their coffee. I didn't partake, but also love that they offer "for here" mugs to sit outside. Came here on a morning stroll through the area and hit here before walking to a neighboring farmers' market -- couldn't ask for a better morning.

Funny concept got me but so sad coffee is bitter and acidic. Tried a bunch of different origins. Not appealing location not welcoming staff. Very slow with 1 person. That does matter.

I recently quit drinking coffee, and this was one of the best matchas I’ve tried since—smooth, creamy, and perfectly paired with coconut milk. The barista was incredibly kind and made the experience even better.

Ok so this is a great (very) little cafe. Consistently good coffee, nice people, there's clearly a great local microcommunity centred on the place, but not in a cliquey kind of way - clearly, there are people living enarby who enjoy being here or dropping by to say hi, and that's wonderful. HOWEVER I am irrationally enraged by their coffee bean branding. Not the swearing, fine with swearing. But while the basic claim - that speciality coffee is exclusive and elitist is fair enough, literally the only concrete thing being done differently here is swapping a minimalist aesthetic for a vaguely pop arty one. Every other aspect of the product is the same checklist of things every single roaster does. The price (surely the actual reason why specialty coffee is 'exclusive') is as or more expensive than comparable producers. It's also just... not that strong? Like it's fine, will happily drink it, but it's pretty middle of the road stuff strengthwise. Maybe there are some more substantive differences lurking beneath the branding - they've managed to build a cool space here and I'd happily believe that they're doing some cool things with supply chains or that they're curating their beans to give a more straightforward, fun spectrum of flavours than the sometimes anemic, tea-like stuff you get with high-end beans. But if so, then explain that, rather than using all your words to pretend that using primary colours on your label is revolutionary. Thank you for coming to my TED Review.

Tiny, tiny coffee shop with a laid-back vibe. Very friendly staff with a smile on their faces and a twinkle in their eyes. They are serving beans from the source - Rwanda, Colombia, Brazil. I bought Uganda beans. A bit too floral for me but wanted to give it a try. I’ll go for the Colombian next time. An awesome coffee shop in Amsterdam, i found this whilst trying to make my way to a different coffee shop in some heavy rain, i am so glad I found it and dived in. The coffee was amazing. Great atmosphere. A few seats around the outside of the small coffee shop. The chap who owns it is a lovely guy, we sat chatting to him for quite some time and ended up buying some beans to bring home. I have visited each time I’ve been back in Amsterdam since.

Genuine living room vibe with great coffee, cold brew in summer and sourdough croissants everyday.

I seldomly leave a shop with the inclination to post a review but this is a special case. The owner (whose name I didn’t catch) is one of the friendliest and most welcoming individuals I’ve ever met, and the cold brew is spectacular! Couldn’t recommend more.

Sorry guys but the coffee was just so poor. I bought a latte and a filter. The latte tasted like there were some tomato left overs in the cup, and the filter tasted as if the beans were completely burnt. Disappointment given the reviews (and hence high expectations).

This was a really powerful experience in a small espresso bar. A pleasant barista who gave me both a filter and a double esso from selected beans. The menu also offers something smaller sweet to nibble on. For home brewing coffee enthusiasts, the option to purchase beans from various roasters for home experiments
