Bel ristorante vista canale. Servizio giovane e cortese. Molto buono il Beef Burger. In una giornata di sole, molto piacevole mangiare all’aperto. Illy caffè luna sorpresa! Leggermente più alto degli altri il noleggio barca.

We hebben hier geluncht. Hele vriendelijke bediening ondanks de drukte! Hier glutenvrije puled chicken gegeten. Was erg lekker en meer dan voldoende. Lekkere witte wijn erbij en wij zaten heerlijk op de banken met direct uitzicht op de dorpsgracht. Er leuk om “mensen te kijken”.

Locatie aanrader, mooi buitenterras, maar lunch viel tegen! "Geen waar voor je geld". De serveerster die de bestelling opnam was vriendelijk. Het eten kwam vrij snel. Maar wat warm behoorde te zijn was koud helaas.

De ontvangst was goed, vriendelijke dane ontving ons en was erg prettig en correct. Na het opnemen van de gerechten hebben we de dame niet weer gezien en werden door andere bediening verder geholpen. Deze waren niet professioneel. Ik had dorade besteld van de voorgerechtenkaart als hoofdgerecht. De vis was rauw van binnen en taai. Ik heb dit aangegeven bij de bediening die naar de keuken ging en zei dat het zo hoort te zijn. Ik heb die niet opgegeten en had een alternatief verwacht. Mijn tafelgenoten hadden tournedos een kipburger en stoofvlees. Dit was naar wens. De frietjes waren erg weinig voor het aantal personen. Al met al geen goede ervaring in dit restaurant.

Wir hatten "Kürbissuppe", "Fisch And Chips" und "Spareribs". Das Essen hat ausgezeichnet geschmeckt, es wurde offensichtlich mit frischen Zutaten zubereitet. Die Pommes frites wurden in frischem Öl frittiert. Das Personal war ausnahmslos sehr zuvorkommend, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Lokal ist hübsch eingerichtet, wir sassen draussen auf der Terrasse bei herrlichem Sonnenschein.

We hadden op voorhand de menukaart bekeken op de website. Bij aankomst kregen we een kleine dinerkaart waar de keuze heel beperkt op is. Even aan de bediening gevraagd of we de volledige kaart konden krijgen en dit was geen probleem. Binnen no-time stond de bediening met de volledige kaart aan onze tafel. We hebben de spareribs en flammkuchen gegeten en het was overheerlijk. Niets op aan te merken! Bediening is ook heel vriendelijk. Voor ons een topervaring!

I rented a beautiful boat from the employee Dan for an hour for 40 euros. Dan was a nice and helpful person and gave us complete instructions. We will come next time and tell our friends. He listened a lot.

Great atmosphere, very clean, service, staff very friendly. The food came very quickly and was very hot. We had Kippburger Kibbiling and the perfectly grilled spare ribs.

Disappointing experience. Dishes have little or no garnish and do not match the description on the menu. As a main course there is no puree, vegetables and other complementary flavors on the plate, just steak and sauce. This is then accompanied by a simple salad and fries. Although the flavors of the starters and main courses are excellent, it lacks inspiration and completeness. Desserts are unfortunately ready-made. 'Crème brulee' is a kind of overcooked crème brulee that had already been roasted beforehand, causing the sugar to become liquid, anything but a crème brulee. The most strange thing is that the apparently manager did not want to show his face at the table, he literally flew into the kitchen as soon as he heard feedback, he left the clammy waiter to the girls in the service, who despite their inexperience were very service-oriented and were nice, compliments to them. The mango dessert and brownies were also ready-made. The ice did not melt and was therefore fake. A shame for a brownie and bavarois, given the description on the menu. A fireplace on TV and an empty restaurant do not do the atmosphere justice, let alone that staff sit down to drink in full view of guests who are still dining. Shame.

The food is very average, the service is bad and slow

Great restaurant. Not very cheap. But not very expensive either. Somewhat comparable to prices in Utrecht. Tasty salad. I also work in the catering industry and am used to going to a table after 5-10 minutes to ask if it tastes good/everything is okay. It was not done and it was easy, because it was very quiet. I would have asked for some more bread. Otherwise fine!

The Grachthof restaurant in Giethoorn is a real gem in a fantastic location right on the canal. The spacious outdoor terrace invites you to linger and offers a beautiful view of the water. The interior is also stylishly and comfortably furnished, so you immediately feel at home. The service is friendly, attentive and ensures everything runs smoothly. The delicious food and drinks are particularly noteworthy. We tried the spare ribs with fries, salad and various sauces - everything perfectly prepared and attractively presented. There was also a strong beer and a refreshing watermelon drink. Everything was of first class quality and tasted excellent. We would definitely like to come back and can recommend the Grachthof to anyone who wants to have a great time in Giethoorn with delicious food in beautiful surroundings.....

Excellent food in a very classy setting. The decor in the restaurant is chic whilst being comfortable and cosy. The food in this restaurant is excellent. Very imaginative combinations of ingredients and all beautifully prepared and presented. Wines were also excellent and service in the restaurant was exceptional. Couldn’t recommend this place highly enough.

I went to eat with my family, we were able to go out to the terrace and enjoy the views since the weather was very good. I have celiac disease and they know how to treat food and intolerances. They have gluten-free bread and can adapt most of the dishes on the menu. They also have fried potatoes in clean oil.

Had delicious cocktails with friends, we ordered Framkuchen with salmon, which is one of my favorite dishes! Enjoy a nice drink and sit on the terrace! Beautiful and modern restaurant, good atmosphere and service, we would love to come back!

After having had a few beers in the afternoon, we had a delicious meal on the evening of the gondola ride. Nice, smooth service, who was up for a joke, and who didn't let himself be fooled. Excellent food and a pleasant atmosphere.

Visited as part of a large party of around 16 people on a business trip and everything was perfect from arrival to leaving. Perfect setting in the most beautiful area, the service was exceptional and all staff very attentive. The food was served promptly and was amazing, beautifully presented and all served with a smile. Very nicely located restaurant directly on a canal. The terrace invites you to linger. Friendly service. Given the price, we would have preferred squid rings instead of onion rings for our tapas. Overall, happy again.

We always enjoy coming here. Nice seats with a view of the boats sailing around and colliding. Food is fine. The only downsides are the toilets at the end of the day (some visitors make a mess). And the price is ridiculously high. But those are all the places to eat on Giethoorn (and anywhere else that's touristy)! Service is super nice and it also looks nice inside!! Highly recommended....

On Thursday we had a package with a warm welcome with coffee and a delicious piece of apple pie. Then we went sailing, a 2.5-hour trip through the nature reserve and of course the cozy canal. When we returned, there was a delicious 12 hours on the menu for us, which we also enjoyed. After enjoying it for a while, we were allowed to ride the E-scooters for another 3.5 hours, which took us to the beautiful Blokzijl. They also have routes that you can follow and you are free to do so. Afterwards we returned the scooters and had a nice chat about our very successful day. Highly recommended.

My experience at this restaurant was nothing short of a nightmare. The staff's attitude was appalling, with the waitress being shockingly rude and dismissive. She delivered the wrong order to our table and, instead of correcting her mistake, arrogantly refused to take it back, demanding that we pay for something we never wanted. The food was absolutely atrocious—bland, poorly cooked, and completely overpriced. This place is a disgrace, and I strongly advise everyone to stay far away from it.

Great location, very attentive and quick staff. The food for six people was delivered to our table extremely quickly (less than ten minutes). Vegetarian options available, although not too many. Everything is rather more expensive, but delicious!

Sloppy and unfriendly place. I had rented a sloop online here via the website, upon arrival after waiting 1 hour I was told that there was no sloop available. My whole day was ruined by them and I drove another 2 hours for nothing!

Really good food with great portion and really friendly staff

Dirty bathrooms and Rude server who just could not be bothered to attend to us- and apparently if 2 people order the same thing on the menu you have to share the sides… so my husband and son ordered items on the special evening menu and they had to share a small container of fries and salad. What? I’ve never heard of this anywhere. She didn’t even bother to bring us a detailed receipt - but at this point we just wanted to leave so we just paid whatever she told us we owed. There are far better establishments in this beautiful town.

Good food, but there are no Scots in the men's toilet and therefore no privacy

The restaurant is beautifully located on a canal in Giethoorn and is easily accessible on foot or by bike (approx. 15 minutes from the bus stop on the main road). The restaurant has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor area is very cozy and offers a wonderful view of the many boats and the hustle and bustle in the canals. We were warmly welcomed by the service staff and served quickly. The quality of the food was good, really tasty. The prices for the food and drinks are in the middle price range. The toilets were not clean, there is certainly a need for action here. I can recommend the restaurant.

Nice terrace, we only had a drink but food at other tables also looked good.. cocktail was mediocre, that needs practice and when putting it down something fell out over us and the stuff, she saw it but said nothing and went small again minus..

In this case, I was not at this restaurant, but my rating is solely on the area itself. The Giethoorn area. Very pleasant small canals where you can sail yourself. With a long tour boat. The entire area has been excavated by hand and all the canals and the lake are only approx. 1 m. Deep. As I remember it, all the houses are hundreds of years old. Many small and rather cozy places to eat, Along the canals. Where the flowers hang over the water, very beautiful. An attraction that should be seen if you are in the area.

Wij vonden de locatie en accommodatie heel goed, maar het eten viel ons tegen. De mosselpan bevatte veel lege schalen en verder wat kleine mosselen. Gasten om ons heen hoorden we er ook over mopperen. De tomatensoep werd binnen 1 minuut goed heet geserveerd, wat ons doet vermoeden dat deze al een tijdje stond te pruttelen, wat de smaak ook niet ten goede kwam. De biefstuk was reeds voorgesneden en niet echt warm; de frites waren erg gekruid en ook te zout. Verder was het ijs van het dessert al gesmolten bij aankomst aan onze tafel en helemaal ingezakt.. Na klagen hierover werd een prima nieuw dessert gebracht, wat geweldig smaakte en er wel prima uit zag. De bediening is erg aardig en goedwillend. Het buitenterras is heel gezellig en uitnodigend; we hebben er fijn vertoefd. De damestoiletten waren erg vies; een van de drie toiletten was druipnat aan een kant; de ander lag vol wc papier en troep (opgestapeld in een hoek). Dit is natuurlijk de schuld van de gasten zelf, maar enig toezicht hierop zou fijn zijn.

Restaurant is beautifully located on the canals near the local museum. Very touristy, so the prices are completely exorbitant: a quiche 23 euros.

this place had good food but had HORRIBLE service. 1. they gave us wings instead of tenders and did not tell us that they didnt have tenders 2. waitress said the portion was 12 pieces and we got 6 pieces 3. she didnt apologize and said it was just a mistake

Please check my profile to see how many times I have given a 1-star rating before. Most likely, it has been only once or twice. Some waiters are extremely rude and unfriendly. They questioned our order and commented that no one had ever ordered it before (and it wasn’t said in a humorous way). Anyway, we didn't eat anything, but what we drank was quite bad. The coffee was bitter, and for lemonade, they just added a few drops of lemon to water. The atmosphere is nice, but I definitely do not recommend it. There is always better options in this lovelly village

Very friendly staff, there is plenty of food, but some combinations do not really make sense, such as fried mushrooms with carpaccio. Ordered the Irish steak as medium rare, but it was actually medium. Taste was fine, just a bit too long in the pan. Just like the first portion of fries. If additional side dishes are needed, they will be brought quickly. Dessert was very tasty.

Wat een schijnvertoning. Oogt heel luxe maar eenmaal binnen vodje van een menu kaart. Stoelen tafels vies, bange meisjes in de bediening die t niet zo goed snappen. Frisdrank niet gekoeld....

What a sham. Looks very luxurious, but once inside it's just a scrap of a menu card. Chairs, tables, floors dirty, teenagers in the service who don't understand it very well. Soft drinks not chilled....

It has been one of the best dishes I have eaten for a while. The Mediterranean soup, Irish steak, fish and chips and lime cheesecake was awesome. I recommend everyone to visit here who comes to Giethoorn.

Das Restaurant ist einfach eine Katastrophe! Wir wollten eine kleine Portion Kroketten bestellen, Kroketten gab es nur auf der Kinderkarte. Als wir nach einer Kinderportion fragten, wurde uns gesagt: „Das gibt es aber nur für Kinder!“ und mit einem solchen Gesichtsausdruck, als wären viele hungrige Kinder in der Nähe und wir würden ihnen das letzte Essen wegnehmen. Ekelhafter Service! Ich kann dieses Restaurant niemandem empfehlen!

De bediening ziet je je niet staan. De Tom Kah Kai bevatte 20g kip en was heel zout. Duidelijk nog nooit echt Thais geproefd. Een portie frietjes voor twee personen, vlees was koud . Dessert was best lekker. Lichten in de wc deden het niet waardoor ik mijn mobiel moest gebruiken als zaklamp. Wanneer ik mijn kont wou afvegen kwam ik handen te kort en legde ik mijn gsm op de wc-papier houder. Dit is dan gevallen en mijn scherm is gebarsten….
