We had a delicious, cozy and affordable meal here!

Very cozy, delicious toasted sandwiches, warm atmosphere, friendly and fast service, a ground-level entrance for wheelchairs and people with disabilities. A lovely large terrace with large parasols. Blue zone parking is now available (April 2025) with two spacious disabled spaces around the corner. A very charming village. (October 2025) It was wonderful and cozy again.

Very good and friendly service, but the food wasn't great. Above all, the acoustics weren't pleasant.

We had a wonderful lunch. Super tasty sandwiches with delicious flavors and a great price. Friendly service, lovely terrace, and when you order coffee, you get water, a cookie, and a candy. That feels truly luxurious. We will definitely be back for dinner. 9/9 we enjoyed dinner. The food was delicious; the duo pork and chicken thigh were very tasty. Quite busy for a Tuesday, but the service was friendly and courteous. Just as good as you would expect.

The coffee tasted just a touch burnt. The cake was fine, but unfortunately, it was whipped cream. The whipped cream with the coffee tasted real.

Simply fantastic. 👍. We were already here this morning for coffee and a side dish. The coffee and latte were beautifully presented with extra whipped cream and a small plate with a cookie and a candy—just lovely! 😀. We went back for dinner tonight because we had a great time this morning. We had the Jipp special (hamburger), which looked really good and nicely presented—that little bit of extra attention works wonders. All the food and drinks today tasted great, truly! The ambiance on the terrace was also well-thought-out and pleasant. And last but not least, the service by the young ladies was excellent both times, and they did their best to make us feel comfortable. Well done, ladies. Of course, the owner made a good choice to keep everything looking great, so kudos to them too! 👍. Since we don't live close by, we normally don't come here anymore, but I advise everyone else to come here quietly and have a drink.

After a bike ride, it was lovely to sit down at Grand Café Jipp. The weather was nice. The surprise cocktail was refreshing and the snack platter is worth repeating. The staff keeps a close eye on everything

During our family weekend we had a nice beer with a board with bread and cheese and bittergarnituur here after a walk. When we wanted to go from outside to sit inside that was no problem. Very hospitable staff with humor

Over the past few years, I have been coming to Jipp every now and then, and always with great pleasure. Since the beginning of 2024, I have been coming there at least once a month with a group of friends and acquaintances. And that is not without reason. We had previously visited a number of other catering establishments in the area and were unanimous in choosing Jipp as our regular location. The food is great, the atmosphere is always good and the people who work there are great. I think the person who often provides us with drinks is a real woman of the world. We are just customers and she knows how to make us feel like VIPs. And certainly not just us. So if you are looking for a nice catering establishment to have a nice meal and/or drink, then as far as I am concerned, you can safely go to Jipp.

We sat inside and had lunch. Ommen sandwich with steak tips was delicious. I found the toilet strange, the entrance door is the door you have to lock, messy and lots of water splashes on the floor. Friendly staff and my dog ​​got water and a cookie👍

A very cozy Grand Cafe in the center of Ommen. In the summer you can have a drink on the terrace and when it gets colder, it is also completely fine inside. Great service, they know you if you've been there a few times. Free parking around the corner. Yes, absolutely great.

Had a delicious meal here last night. The quality and quantity are excellent and the wait staff deserves a big compliment. Not pushy, decently dressed and will speak to you politely. You don't have to look any further for the final amount to be paid. In short: Highly recommended!

Toasti was very juicy Farmer's omelet was not tasty. Maybe they have a different chef? Had a delicious lunch here 4 months ago, but now far below par. We left the food and indicated that it had no taste, but nothing was done with it, which is a shame, you won't see us here again!

Excellent location, I would love to come back

Had lunch here outside last week with our 2 young children. The food was superb and staff very friendly. Nice location overlooking the old church opposite.

Good reviews so I settled on Jipp with confidence. Nice terrace, friendly service, good starter as part of the surprise menu. But then everything went wrong: terribly salty chicken as a main course. The pasta we ordered was much saltier, without any sauce and poor quality shrimp. Have that dish retrieved. Asparagus was served with cheap egg salad and pre-cooked potatoes as bouncy balls. The asparagus was watery and hard. The fish that came with it was terribly dry. As compensation for the long wait, one of us received coffee on the house. Dessert was a brownie with sea salt. But it was more like sea salt with brownie. We all reported it, but little action was taken. When we got home we had to conclude that we were even nauseous and had to drink glasses of water to quench thirst. We can't remember ever having had such a bad meal anywhere. Sorry Jipp, but we will never come again.

Ordered pork ribeye and slow-cooked cheek, my husband a hamburger. The first was extremely tough, full of sinews, except for that cheek. It was deliciously cooked. So my plate was returned almost untouched. Waitress didn't say anything about it. The burger and the atmosphere were great! Fries were ordinary, standard.

This was a surprisingly great place. We were here to have lunch, and we had a great experience. Inside has a great atmosphere, but as it was winter, it was empty outside, but I can imagine it can be a nice spot in a sunny day. The food was great, the people are friendly and I recommend it 👌.

Good lunch! Been on holiday twice

Had a great lunch a few years ago. They didn't really feel like it yesterday. I thought the bouncers were bad. Had to ask for cutlery and didn't get bread with my salad, but after asking I did.
