We had a Social Deal lunch. It was fine, but nothing special. The service is super friendly. The ambiance is a bit quirky. There is plenty to see, and we appreciated all the curiosities.

We received a meal from Socialdeal from the children. We were welcomed by super nice staff and sat outside by the railway tracks, which makes for a nice, unique experience. It's very relaxed, with lovely people who want to make you feel at ease. There was a super sweet young waitress who showed interest in the customers and was friendly. For starters, we had a delicious soup with mustard and tomatoes. For the main course, a beautiful farmer's schnitzel and chicken satay. For dessert, a delicious cappuccino with ice cream and whipped cream, presented in a really nice way. This was by far the best of our holiday. We even had a lovely chat with the chef when paying for the drinks. We will definitely be back here. It is located slightly outside the center of Ommen, but it is certainly worth the effort. Always a nice personal approach/service. The food is very tasty. We always order a schnitzel with various sauces. More than enough.

We arrived here reasonably hungry and in very good spirits. It was a bit of a bumpy ride in the back for one of us, so that was a bit of a letdown. Order a drink, have a drink. Ordered a nice soup and bread rolls for starters. We had a main course too, of course. We’ve been eating scout food for the past 4 days, so it was a big step up. Apple pie better than at the forest pub; this time no phone screen got smashed, great. Then Chef Cook came and flopped a tray on our table, and I quote: "You guys just throw it on" (was meant to be funny, so you other people reading this don't think it's bad service). I was subsequently called a sheep by Chef Cook (Deserved, I guess? We could laugh about it). So as revenge, I just started playing my kazoo; yeah, you know what are they going to do? Send us away? We hadn't paid yet anyway. Luckily, we were the only ones left in the restaurant, so no other customers were bothered by it. We paid and left a tip (you're welcome, you sheep). And we left the door to the sound of kazoos and applause. Bye-bye and until next time. Good service, great service, Xoxo the Cub Scout leaders (We had a laugh)

I had read that the ham hock was very tasty, so I ordered that, and soup beforehand because I thought I could handle it. It was a substantial ham hock. Very delicious. I am not a big eater so I couldn't finish it, but it was wonderfully tender. You certainly won't go hungry. Highly recommended.

We celebrated our birthdays here. Incredibly cozy location, delicious buffets (both hot and cold), and lovely ice cream for dessert. The staff is very friendly, and everything was possible in consultation. Our guests were also very enthusiastic about the location, the food, and the staff. We will definitely be back here😃

Unique restaurant. Had a delicious lunch several times and therefore also had dinner once. Dinner via Social Deal. Unique decor, tasty food at a good price, and very friendly service. The dogs got a biscuit the very first time. We will definitely come back here to try the schnitzel and the ham hock. Highly recommended if you want to eat somewhere where the decor isn't run-of-the-mill.

During our week-long holiday at Camping Ommerland, we went out for dinner here after making a reservation. We had salmon, ham, satay, and a pizza. Everything was really delicious, tender, and tasty. The desserts were also good. Good value for money too. Superb service from the hostess. A cozy, unique ambiance. Worth a look around! This restaurant is highly recommended 👍👍

You can eat really well here; the Sallandse ham is absolutely top-notch! Very friendly service; you are helped quickly and courteously. Highly recommended, just like the cappuccino there; that is a really good cappuccino.

The ambiance was rather macabre: lots of witches on the wall, among other things. For our party of 8 people, not a single table was free, and no tables were pushed together either! Unwelcoming! The hygiene on and under the table left much to be desired. On the terrace, you sit next to the railway tracks.

Unfortunately, the atmosphere wasn't suitable for families. Our kids felt uncomfortable. The air quality in the restaurant was also very poor; it was even a bit foggy/smoky when you entered. The service was very attentive and friendly! Nevertheless, we left.

The "Happen en Stappen" (Eat and Walk) package is highly recommended! (A "Trappen en Happen" version is also available for cycling) Super friendly staff and very helpful, providing a good explanation of the package. A station restaurant with lots of atmosphere and character that feels very homey. Highly recommended!!

Last weekend we were in Ommen with the camper and visited Spoor 7 on both Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday, coffee and cake which was unbelievably delicious! Today, coffee with arretjescake, walked a hiking route, and then had a nice lunch. What a lovely restaurant with a beautiful owner! When we are in the area again, we will definitely be back!

Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m., we enjoyed a nice cup of tea, after which the walk could begin. Afterwards, we enjoyed a nice cold beer in the afternoon.

Booked a walking package, and I'll definitely be back. Coffee and delicious apple pie, a wonderful lunch, and a super friendly hostess!

Unique location. The food is excellent. Friendly staff. P.S. Taste is, of course, a personal preference, but I would get rid of all those dust traps of branches, trinkets, and net curtains. A lick of paint. The place already has plenty of atmosphere 😉

What a surprisingly nice and friendly place. I stumbled upon it and was pleasantly surprised by the menu, which many restaurants could learn from. Plenty of choices (including vegetarian options) and clearly labeled allergies (I wish every restaurant had mentioned them this well). The staff were also very kind to two elderly ladies who didn't quite understand the bicycle ticket system, even though that's not really their responsibility. You guys are the best.

Last night I had dinner with my partner, as a surprise, at Spoor 7. It was definitely a success. A very tender ham for him, and for me, the schnitzel with mushroom cream sauce—the most delicious I've ever eaten. All the meat products are from their own livestock and processed in their own butcher shop. It was our first visit, and hopefully not our last. We weren't just drawn to the food on the table, but to the table itself, made of stone slabs, heavy wood used in a brickworks. Very fitting for a station location where sleepers support the rails.

It's been a long time since I had such a delicious schnitzel in the Netherlands. Crispy on the outside and deliciously tender on the inside. Good quality meat. I really appreciate that. I felt welcome, thanks for that. Everything tasted good to me and the portion was more than good.

Very nice restaurant with excellent walking opportunities. The beautiful interior is also a sight in itself. You are welcomed very hospitably, and both the coffee with cake and the lunch were more than fine!

We received a very friendly welcome on Friday from a lovely lady, and we went for a drink. On Saturday, after a cup of coffee and cake, we had a lovely walk on a route she indicated. And in time, a delicious cup of soup and croquette sandwich was ready. Thank you Greetings DJ & Karin from Neede

On a weekday, we had a delicious meal with 4 people at this station restaurant, welcomed by a very friendly and hospitable lady. Friendly atmosphere, with a nostalgic feeling of an earlier station restoration. They had a clear menu with reasonable prices. The food was well prepared and tasty, in short: we were pleasantly surprised and will definitely come back. When I entered I thought the music was a bit too loud, but that's personal.

Saturday morning at 4 minutes to 10 I politely asked if I could use the toilet. Well the answer was NO we are not open yet! While there are 2 police officers chatting inside. And the door was open. So it really comes down to 4 minutes for this man because it opened at 10:00 am. This man doesn't deserve a star from me, he doesn't understand that as a woman you also have to pee when you walk Pieterpad!! (And I certainly would have wanted to pay to use the toilet)

We had a 3 course menu. Curry, mustard and tomato soup were delicious with baguettes. Main course Schnitzel for us and pizza for the little one. Large portions and my son received more than half a pizza in a box and my wife half a schnitzel in a container. The hazelnut foam dessert with ice cream and whipped cream was still too much for my wife and my son also had too much of a challenge with the Liège with cherry ice cream and whipped cream.

Enjoyed it immensely. Went with a large group (25 people) Coffee and pastries were delicious. Took a walk to come back for a very tasty lunch! Staff were friendly and helpful.

Because of a Social Deal (walking package) we ended up at Spoor 7. We received a friendly welcome and started with a cup of coffee, tea or cappuccino with apple pie or apple pie. We were already asked what we wanted for lunch (choice of four soups and three types of croquette), so that afterwards we only had to provide our lunch number. During our walk, the kitchen would prepare lunch. We could choose from two routes, we chose the purple route. After about an hour and a half we returned to Track 7 and ate our delicious lunch down to the last crumb. The service was friendly, the food delicious (the cheese cake a little too sweet) and all in all definitely worth it! The service was very friendly.

We went for dinner today. This was part of snapping and kicking. We were greeted very friendly. After explaining what was on the menu, we decided to go for the ham. There's nothing you can do about the fact that we didn't like it that much, because tastes differ. But we sat on the window rail side, the spider webs were stuck to decorations and the dead flies were on the windowsill, so my appetite soon disappeared. The toilet wasn't much better... I don't think there has been a cloth over the toilet roll holder in weeks... Too bad for something so nice.

Enjoying a delicious lunch here! I had a track 7 bouncer, Heerlie de peerlie. The staff is very hospitable and hospitable! Inside it is beautifully decorated, and the service matches the vibe very well! There are always people either inside or on the terrace.

DELICIOUS!! If you are in the area you should definitely eat there. The meat is first-class and comes from our own butcher shop. Sublime Nagelhout and beautiful ham and spare ribs. Super cooked and very tasty. Everything accompanied by delicious seasoned fries and a slightly sour salad. The service is also fantastic! Highly recommended in a cozy station waiting room.

We had a lovely time in the sun. Together we had a creamy tomato soup, my husband had wiener schnitzel with mushroom cream sauce, and I had a salmon fillet with lemon dill sauce, and for dessert Liège waffles with spread of cherries, whipped cream and soft ice cream. It was very worthwhile. Nice staff and fast service.

Very friendly service but unpleasant staff in the kitchen. The drinks came quickly, but the soft drink was 4 months past its expiration date. This was resolved quickly and neatly, but of course this should never happen. The nacho dish took an awfully long time to arrive and did not contain the ingredients listed on the menu at all. The tomato and red onion were missing. The sauces were not very tasty and did not suit a nacho dish (sweet chili, BBQ sauce and something that looked like ravigotti). It would also include chicken strips, but the pink cubes looked more like ham. According to the staff it was chicken roulade, but we thought pink chicken meat was strange. The decor was surprising; a strange mess, but that also made it fun.

We really enjoyed ourselves here. Social deal walking package is highly recommended! Good seating options, friendly staff, good quality food and, last but not least, a beautiful walking route.

A very special interior. The names of philosophers on the wall. Pillars inlaid with wood sculpture. Tables made of thick wagon wood. A friendly service. Delicious lunch. The 12 hour was fine. Tasty croquette. The bouncer was also excellent. Drink was served quickly. Only the lunch itself took a very long time. 40 minutes is too long. Only downside. Furthermore, a fine dining option.

We were in doubt between the purple or blue route, but on Henk's advice we opted for the purple route (we wish we had never listened 😉) Enjoyed a delicious lunch upon return.
