Grand café prins Hendrik garage in Noord

Before we went to Paleis Het Loo, we stopped here for a bite to eat and a drink. They were very friendly, but we had to wait a long time for a simple sausage roll and a carpaccio sandwich. It was delicious, though.

The toasted sandwich was dry, and they didn't ask if you wanted brown or white bread. It was a shame. The coffee was leaking.

Simply outstanding desserts and loved the season special frappuicino. There's feeling of royal ambience in there. The prices are super reasonable.

Such a lovely little café! The outdoor seating area is peaceful and beautifully arranged — a perfect spot to relax after visiting the palace nearby. There’s even a gorgeous peacock walking around, adding a charming touch to the atmosphere.

Staff stood around chatting a lot and had no eye for guests. Took a long time before someone came. The food came very quickly. The salad was blessed with an out of proportion dose of croutons.

What incredibly sweet service. We had high tea here today for my girlfriend's birthday. We had some suggestions for this and the service was open to our suggestions and gave us delicious snacks and a glass of house wine. So nice to be able to talk openly and honestly about expectations together and to take high tea here to a higher level. Thank you again for your positive solution. We enjoyed it.

A truly royal location to have lunch or a cup of coffee with a cake from Cees Holtkamp. Everything is neatly taken care of, correct employees. outside on the terrace there is a beautiful view over the stables.

A very cozy restaurant on the royal domain Het Loo in the garage of Prince Hendrik. The pastries come from the royal supplier Maassen.

Great place for coffee, thanks to the wonderful cakes from Maassen bakery and good quality coffee. Don't go for lunch, disappointing, according to my wife..

I am very disappointed with the contents of the lunch box. Even at Paleis Het Loo you can no longer rely on it. I was looking forward to walking and having a picnic in the park with two friends. That's why I ordered a lunch box from Hendrik's garage. We found a nice spot by the water and started our lunch. When I opened the lunch box, I was shocked. It was very different from their website. I'm disappointed that I didn't immediately check what was in it, otherwise I would have rejected it. I feel disappointed and misled in one of the most beautiful places in the Netherlands. I hope you adjust the photos or content on your website so that others are not disappointed afterwards.

Inherent in the contemporary spirit of the times, people are expected to place their order themselves by scanning a QR code on the table, with or without a tip. The latter is of course very special since the services still have to be provided. Anyway, the order was served quickly and everything was very tasty.

It is difficult to find employees, but still. It was less busy than normal according to the app. Waited 20 minutes before we were even noticed. After ordering, lunch was delivered within 10 minutes. No one was interested in whether everything was as expected. Payment was also difficult. TIP appoint a floor manager who keeps an overview and directs the people, it will pay for itself several times over.

Dropped by for a quick lunch after visiting the palace and was pleasantly surprised by how quickly the food was served. The soups and chai latte were both good.

It was a lovely day, and we stopped for lunch here. I was glad they had a menu and servers who could help, because I don’t like phone app ordering. While a couple of us had salads, I had the Palace Burger, big and juicy. We split some fries. And it was hard to beat the setting!!!

What a treat to first have a cup of coffee upon entering Het Loo Palace. The atmosphere and service are top notch.

On Easter Monday in the restaurant (De Prins Hendrik garage) we had the worst lunch in years. The served bouncer (what could possibly go wrong with a bouncer?) was a dried out, hard piece. Kindly reported it to the staff, but they were not interested. That's why this review is a warning: this lunch restaurant is really bad and expensive.

Not hospitable, you can take your order yourself via a scanning system. Smoking is prohibited on the terrace, with the 'friendly' reference to the smoking pole somewhere further away. First order came after the second. Bitterballen are also good. No repeat for me...

ate a bouncer. very bare-bones service for a grand café. without any attachment to the bread and spread. even butter had to be asked for. Furthermore, two entrance doors, one with a draft screen and one without, we were close to this. a big draft every time it opens. The response to a request to close these doors was very negative. would also be much better, considering the constant heat loss in these cold weather conditions.

Everything would have been fine if the service staff had also paid attention to us. We sat down at the table where the customers had recently left. There were uncollected dishes on the table (it was the only free table). I understand that it is impossible to clear them at once because there are many people. So I sat there for 10 minutes, and no one came to take them away, while I moved them to the next table, from where the customers left. You could only order through a code. Where you had to pay immediately. And how much tip will you leave on the bill? What? I'm not did she talk, did she communicate with the waiters in any other way and here is a tip??? Waiting for the waiter, both raising his hand and somehow trying to draw their attention to me, I didn't succeed for 45 minutes. He just ignored me. I drank my iced coffee, I can't say anything bad about this drink, so it was one of the best iced coffees I've ever had, and I left. I will never come back to this restaurant again, because the service here is really bad.

I chose a Brioche Pulled Pork for lunch. In terms of taste, it's fine, but that's about it. Any kind of garnish was missing!! 'A bare affair'. See the picture! That's not how you act when you call yourself Grand Café. This could be much better. Just add some 'green' for formatting. Everything else is fine there. Ed Jansen

This place offers delicious food and drinks. On warm days you can sit outside on the terrace or lawn. A high tea is absolutely recommended.

Busy restaurant with a not so fantastic menu. At 12.50 for a bouncer, the restaurant seems on the pricey side. In the summer you can sit outside on the large terrace. It is typically aimed at tourists and is located on the road to Het Loo Palace.

A very nice and cozy restaurant on the stables square of the Paleis Het Loo museum. You can sit here on the terrace or sit inside. You have a wide choice from the menu for various lunch dishes and matching drinks. The staff is friendly and pays good attention to you. Nice ending to the museum visit.

Delicious cakes and a great playground for kids. Unfortunately it is overloaded with wasps and our youngest of 11 months was stung by a wasp in the playground. Also at others restaurant locations in the park it is overloaded with wasps and not pleasant to eat outside with young children.

Nice place, a bit noisy when it's full. Table arrangement does not make walking through the business easy. It's a pity that it is located after the entrance to Het Loo (ticket for Het Loo or museum annual pass required) because otherwise I would go there more often. Very good coffee and tasty pastries.

This afternoon we went to enjoy a high tea. Unfortunately, we discovered at a late moment that you also have to pay an entrance fee. It's a pity that this was not well known in advance. It is also a pity that the stables were already closed. Despite the opening time until 5 p.m. Then it feels like an extra entrance to a restaurant. The high tea itself was very tasty. And original. Just like the location. The high tea was well taken care of

Beautiful location, friendly staff. Enjoyed a rich high tea including soup beforehand. Star less because communication about reservation in advance was difficult. The grand cafe cannot be reached directly and the reservation indicated that the high tea was full, while this turned out to be incorrect. Everything was resolved well on site.

It was a hot day, but it was a shame that I had to wait 20 minutes for someone to come and serve me. I noticed from the guests around me that they experienced the same problem. Unfortunately I didn't eat anything, despite my patience

Beautiful place but the High Tea was bad. Cheese roll with chewy melted cheese on top, barely any toppings on the sandwiches, a scone with olives and cheese (cold and dry) served with whipped cream and jam. Everything was put on the table at once and not as usual, first savory then sweet. Very friendly service.
