Cozy restaurant with excellent food. Beautifully located in the city center. Highly recommended!

Yesterday, I had a delicious high cocktail on the patio with a friend. We were allowed to choose from the menu. There were tasty snacks and super friendly service. Highly recommended!

Samen in Deventer is a cozy place with a pleasant atmosphere and friendly service. The menu offers a good variety. We ordered nachos, and although the first portion was unfortunately a bit tough, the staff took care of it immediately. After reporting this, we immediately received a fresh portion that was deliciously crispy and well-filled. In short, a great place with good service that knows how to respond to feedback.

Nice place to relax. Great atmosphere. Drink prices are high everywhere these days, and this one is no different.

What a disappointment this restaurant, "Samen," was! The rosé was far too sweet, the Merlot wine was tooth-popping, and the stew tasted like Bolognese sauce! We returned the rosé and Merlot and exchanged them for two beers. I see the returned rosé and wine still appear on the bill. This is simply unacceptable, never again!

Break Deventer. Grandcafe is located in the busiest square in the city center. The coffee is rich and filling.

We ate at Samen on Thursday, August 14th. It was disappointing. It started with us sitting on the patio next to a young man who was smoking. Because the wind was blowing in our direction, we were bothered by this. He noticed this and lowered his cigarette. This didn't solve the problem, however. The young man continued smoking. Fortunately, there was another table available where we could sit without smoking. Shortly after, I noticed that the young man with the cigarette was a restaurant staff member working as a waiter! Not very customer-friendly! During our meal, I heard the "smoking" staff member making comments to his colleagues about a customer on the patio. These weren't complimentary remarks. It's not wise to talk about customers in front of other customers. The food was also disappointing. I ordered an Indian curry for my main course. The portion was very small and somewhat tasteless. Such a shame. Our experience at Samen was disappointing. I can't imagine going back.

We had a really great experience here! We had a few drinks and aperitifs. The price-quality ratio is excellent; you really get your money's worth when it comes to the food. The staff were all super friendly and checked in frequently to make sure everything was okay. Plus, it's in a nice location and has a cozy atmosphere. I highly recommend it!

Yesterday sat here outside on the terrace and enjoyed a delicious rosé. Very friendly staff, that alone deserves a compliment. Definitely worth repeating.

Food is little, small & bad. Service does not know what to do, does not care at all what you ask. Walking on or going home hungry has more value.

My sister and I wanted to have a nice drink at (together) café, we went in there to ask to order, well the head of person was mega grumpy looked at us irritated I'll be there in a minute, while there were more colleagues there!!! To be able to help us, the ulcer there is really terrible!!! Not recommended to go there!!!!

Lunch on a beautiful sunny day, with a mountain bike tour on your doorstep. They are nice girls, but they don't have the catering attitude you think you expect. It took a while for the drinks to be taken, it took a little longer for them to be brought. We indicated that we wanted to have lunch, they would bring the lunch menu. Picked it up myself at some point. Once again it took a while before the order was taken. Then lunch was brought for 3 people, oh I will also bring cutlery and after about 5 minutes the other 2 lunch dishes and cutlery were brought. We wanted to order a second round of drinks, oh wait, my terminal isn't working, I'll just pick up a new one. She then first paid at one table with the new terminal, then took the order at another table and then came to take our order. In short, we did not find it a positive experience due to all the waiting and inefficient work. Too bad, we will go to another restaurant together in the future

Had another nice evening at Samen. Delicious food and drinks with cheerful service. You can see and feel the good atmosphere between them and that makes it a pleasant, unapologetic and pleasant evening. They definitely do their best and that is appreciated

Did high beer and high wine tonight, twice and twice. We waited 45 minutes for the first round, which turned out to be short. The 2nd round turned out to take 2 1/2 hours. After inquiring 3 times and another walk to the kitchen, everything was served at the same time with 100 apologies and an offer of an extra free round of drinks. After this last round we waited another 45 minutes for someone to pay the bill, but he didn't come, so we walked to the cash register where we also waited another 10 minutes before we could pay. The bill turned out to be too high, which was corrected before payment. In short, the food was quite tasty but it didn't have to take 4 1/2 hours! Not worth repeating for us!!!

Hele goede service, barrista en serveerster Jasmine heeft ons stralend geholpen in dr eentje met een half vol terras, complimenten naar haar ik hoop dat de eigenaar haar goed betaald voor zulke avonden.

Dit grand café bezocht voor een lunch op het terras. Lekker gegeten en vriendelijke no-nonsens bediening. Mooi uitzicht over de Brink.

Stopped by for lunch. We chose a Farmhouse Omelette. It was superb washed down with a local beer. Good service and atmosphere.

Worthless. Waiting 20 minutes for a coffee and hot chocolate with whipped cream. After 20 minutes of asking questions, you had not ordered from me. That's right. Completely forgot to click send on my digital phone.

Met mijn dochter heerlijk gegeten. Kaart met voldoende keuze. Het was er lekker warm ( bij het raam minder). Leuke bediening en een redelijk bedrag op de rekening.

Nice afternoon behind us. Nice meal in the evening, but the service could be much better. We ordered various snacks for drinks. The plates were left empty on the table for at least an hour before they were picked up. Even had a round of drinks in between and those empty glasses were not collected either. The table was quite full at that moment. This is really an area that could be improved!

Landed there unplanned after a bike ride. Balanced menu and extensive beer program. Tasty and reasonable in price. Portion was okay too. Is recommended.

Food is very good, location is also nice, but we hate to wait for food for 30mins and nobody said it will take so long for 2 sandwiches. We liked anyway!

No sun on the terrace around lunchtime, but the heater is on. My husband was very satisfied with the club sandwich and got a decent portion of fries with it. Brie sandwich and ham cheese sandwich as expected, not very special. Service friendly and attentive, but a relatively long wait for the food.

I am normally always very satisfied with each other and enjoy sitting on the terrace. Today I had dinner with some friends and that was a bit disappointing. It took quite a while before we received the menu, the starter arrived and the main course arrived. We waited an hour for the main course. My burger wasn't the right one, so they had to remake it, after which it wasn't the right one again. I understand that it was busy that evening, but an apology for the inconvenience would have been nice.

It is an expensive place and the dishes do not live up to the price.

Well seated. Food also decent for lunch. It is a bit strange that the staff (and/or friends of) keep a table occupied for their own use and send guests away. But who am I to judge.

Het was niet slecht, maar ook niet echt goed of bijzonder. Voorgerecht champignons in bierbeslag was erg armoedig met slechts 2 champignons voor wel €9,50! Dat noemen wij geen voorgerecht, maar een amuse… Gemeld dat wij het erg weinig vonden. Hij zou het doorgeven, maar niks meer van gehoord. Hoofd een bavette, die in 3 stukken was gesneden (misschien om te checken of hij werkelijk medium was)? Met groenten en pepersaus. Was wel oké, niet bijzonder. Dessert niet gehad, want keuze uit 3 dingen die ons helaas niet lekker leken. En echt, wij lusten veel. Vonden we jammer, hadden nog best wat gelusten na een dag werken. Het viel op dat onze buren rechts en links ook geen dessert namen. Zet dan gewoon een coupe vanille-ijs met iets van vruchten/chocoladesaus/advocaat op de kaart. Altijd goed, tóch een ‘goedmaak’toetje. De rest op de kaart is immers ook geen haute-cuisine.

Genoten van de high beer. Wij vonden het jammer dat het eten in een keer werd gebracht. De tafel staat dan ineens helemaal vol met lekkere hapjes. Er staan best veel heerlijke warme gerechten op tafel die je dan te snel gaat opeten omdat ze anders koud worden.

Heerlijk gegeten. Prima plekje om wat te drinken of te eten. Heerlijke burgers en het stoofpotje was erg smakelijk.

Gezellig eetcafe om te eten en drinken of relaxen. De omelet is een aanrader.

Goed en gezellig gegeten. Vriendelijke personeel. Helaas overstemde het lawaai van de kermis (eerste weekend van juni) Dit heeft niet de pret gedrukt. Kop koffie is goed, maar mag wel iets meer zijn. Zoveel kost een samenstelling niet.

Ondanks de review over lange wachttijden toch gegaan. Hoe erg kan het zijn in goed gezelschap? Nou ja, na 2 uur hadden we een voorgerechtje en hoofdgerecht gehad en ze konden ons niet beloven dat het nagerecht sneller zou komen dus dat hebben we laten zitten. Eten was echt matig. Mijn carpacio salade had helemaal geen smaak, frietjes waren slap, en mijn tafelgenoten zeiden: "ach, het is te eten". Het lijkt alsof de keuken veel te klein is tov het aantal stoelen. Als het eten beter was geweest, hadden we ons bij de wachttijd neergelegd maar nee, helaas was het allemaal niet in verhouding. Ik zou het niet aanraden.

Viel niet mee om geholpen te worden. Ruim 20 minuten voor er naar ons werd gekeken. Eten was redelijk. Maar goed, lastig om genoeg personeel te vinden. Wel een mooie zaak met veel meer potentie.

De kaart ziet er redelijk uit. Kort, makkelijk en overzichtelijk. De voorgerechten waren simpel maar van matige kwaliteit. Twee gamba’s op een bedje van sla is niet echt een voorgerecht te noemen. De hoofdgerechten waren redelijk, de service prima.

Voor de borrel op het terras gezeten. Bediening leek onderbezet, telkens lang wachten op opname/drankjes. Vriendelijk personeel. Borrelplankje en nacho’s lekker! Toiletten waren overigens erg vies.

De lunch was top, duurde heel erg lang voordat er bediening kwam. Zagen ook diverse gasten weglopen omdat ze niet geholpen werden. Dat kan en zou beter moeten worden....

Een zaak met uitstraling op t oog,we gingen zitten en werden snel geholpen drankje en de kaart Mn vrouw merkte op dat de man in de bediening g een nogal groezelige spijkerbroek droeg en dat dat niet van 1 dag was ,er liep nog een jong eman rond tafels schoon te maken met een of andere spuitbus waar ik m'n vraagtekens bij had en een doekje opgevrommeld waar je soep van kon koken. Mn vrouw besteldevoorgerecht en een samenburger en gaf aan geen uien ,ik garnalen en een samenburger Toen ze aan t voorgelegd zat vond ze rode ui wat ze opzij schoof Bij de burger zat er uien op deze gag ze terug en met een paar tellen was hij terug,de knul maakte nog een opmerking het stond wel op de bon GEEN uien ....in haar salade zat ook ui en nog vond ze uien op de burger Daar kwam bij dat ze allebei niet erg warm waren plus de friet was brem en brem zout van de kruidenbitter afrekenen hebben we dit gemeld toen men vroeg alles naar wens ....nee het kon beter De kelner met de groezelige broek prevelde Sorry en daar bleef t bij Het was een optie om bij het scroosfestijn terug te komen dit jaar maar we kijken nog even verder

In het mooie Deventer aan de Brink is het goed vertoeven op het terras. Lekkere stoelen, heel mooi ingericht zowel binnen als buiten. We hebben wat drankjes gedronken en een lekkere borrelplank gehad, dat was prima. Hoe het eten is weet ik niet. Personeel was in orde en beleefd , maar niet allemaal heel erg vriendelijk.

Gezellig terras midden in stad Deventer. Niets op aan te merken! Vriendelijk peesoneel! We hebben niets gegeten.

We hebben een pornstar Martini besteld die niets weg had van een pornstar Martini. We kregen er al geen prosecco bij. Het was een waterige jus dorange in een veel te klein glas. Hier gaan we nooit meer heen.

Lang wachten, matige keuken, vriendelihk personeel, gezellige inrichting, zeer slechte witte wijnen (Zowel de sauvignon blanc als de chardonay is boxht)

Ben je in Deventer, dan moet je op de Brink bij Grand Café Samen wat gaandrinkrn en eten. Super heerlijk. En ja met vrienden erbij extra genieten.

Bediening was een beetje onderbezet met het zonnige weer waardoor het allemaal iets langer duurde, maar de espresso martini en borrelhapjes waren lekker ☕️ Er stonden ook veel verschillende biertjes op de kaart 👏🏻

Grand café Samen ligt op een prachtige locatie in Deventer. Dat is aan de prijzen te zien. Het eten is goed maar de wachttijden zijn echt te lang 1 dik uur voordat je lunch arriveert is echt vreselijk lang. Dat kan beter. Personeel lijkt niet goed te worden aangestuurd.

Op het eerste gezicht zo'n zaak waar alles klopt. Mooi ingericht tot en met de toiletten, duidelijk veel aandacht besteed aan interieur: om door een ringetje te halen. Ook het eten is met zorg en aandacht bereid en ziet er aantrekkelijk uit. Ook zijn er prima vega(n) opties. Wel prijzig, maar je zit dan ook op een A-locatie. Het personeel is vriendelijk, maar chaotisch. Twee keer wordt ons beloofd dat de lunchkaart er aan komt, maar pas nadat er nog eens expliciet naar gevraagd wordt krijgen we hem ook daadwerkelijk. Vervolgens duurt het zeker nog een kwartier tot twintig minuten voor onze bestelling wordt opgenomen, waarbij oogcontact actief gemeden lijkt te worden (te druk?). We zitten er dan al 35-40 minuten met twee kinderen onder de zes, die uiteraard ongeduldig worden. Een van de serveersters is intussen al drie keer naar een lege tafel op en neer gelopen; twee keer om een paar glazen af te ruimen en nog een keer met een vaatdoek. (Efficiënt was het niet). Ook bij een andere tafel die net klaar was met eten ging het afruimen voor, terwijl wij groen waren van de honger en op een houtje zaten te bijten. Mijn zoontje was van ellende de ijsblokjes uit het cola glas aan het opeten. Ruim een uur na aankomst hadden we ons eten (wat lekker was!). Zou ik er nog eens terug gaan: misschien als er maar 1 of 2 andere tafels bezet waren. Niveau bediening/ service kortom niet te vergelijken met het niveau van de keuken & styling, en dit lijkt met name onervarenheid! (Vriendelijk zijn ze wel!)

Mooie locatie, maar we moesten heel erg lang op onze lunch wachten. De rest van de gasten trouwens ook. De bediening deed twee keer niets met onze opmerking dat we zo lang moesten wachten. Jammer, gemiste kans!

Wij hebben er heerlijk gezeten, de inrichting van de zaak is prima en geeft een huiselijk gevoel. In combinatie met een prima kaart en attent personeel is Samen een aanrader.

Heerlijk op het terras gezeten in het zonnetje. Snelle en vriendelijke bediening.

Gezellige locatie en zitgelegenheid. Zowel buiten als binnen. Vriendelijk, maar enigszins chaotisch, personeel. Eten zeker lekker en van goede kwaliteit, hoewel wel aan de dure kant.
